She really loves her Science which is only beneficial if you love Science as well. She's willing to help and answers emails quickly. The course was technical/dry and boring. It was barely about colour/art and it took a lot of effort to get a good mark. I don't know why NATS are mandatory when they don't benefit non- Science majors. Glad it's over!

Spent two classes telling us that we shouldn't be taking that class but we were specifically told that we could take it instead of phys1410 maybe she should communicate more with others. Also when the lab schedule was changed she messed confused me so even though it said I was to start lab one week she said another week.

The miserable class is always packed due to mandatory participation marks. The prof talks a lot but says very little. She wasted most of the time reviewing high school things and then rushed through the two chapters reviewing new concepts (angular motion/torque & fluids) in two classes with NO EXAMPLES! A really good physics course. If you go to lecture and study the sapling questions your sure to do well. There is nothing unfair and if you put in the work you'll succeed. Lectures are also really useful and are not too fast paced. At the end of the day its a physics course so the most important thing is practice, practice, practice. :)

This Professor does not know how to create tests based on the content in the course. Many concepts are not explained well and she has a talent for reading more so then teaching.

easily the worse physics prof/class. for a class like electricity, i was electrified by how horrible this experience was. the lack of a genuine pedagogy is real. the lectures aren't "taught" instead cut and paste slides from the textbook with little to no deeper information. more of a reader than a teacher. try and find a diff prof.

Idk what's harder to understand, that heavy accent, or them copy and pasted ahh slides from the textbook. The slides are very grammarly poor as well, she claims the test will be easy (first test was), but then the next one is all multiple choice with crazy concepts you'd need to read the entire textbook t o know.

Idk who hired this women into the department. The only English she knows is "this is the idea." She got her degree from flea market and needs to be fired. The 4th year PASS Instructor has a deeper level of understanding than this baboon. She doesn't even make her own slides they are copied from Cengage. She needs to be fired to fix the program.

Avoid her. She reads slides with no real explanation or examples. Tests are harsh, unrealistic, and offer no partial credit. Feedback is slow, and there's no support. Though she seems kind, this course completely killed my interest in physics. A truly disappointing and frustrating experience.

First lecture she levitated in, whispered “dis is dee idea,” and my GPA flatlined. Slides spoke in tongues. Equations appeared, then vanished. I aged 3 years with a receeded hairline before midterm 2. Test had 100 MCQs and one demon. I tried office hours — the door screamed. I passed, but I see circuits in my dreams. Physics is fear now.

she cant teach anything and just reads off formulas during class, but still makes you go to class for the in class activities worth 5% of your mark, she only does 1 or 2 problems during the tutorial, and on the tests, most of the weight is on mcq and not problem solving which makes them really hard.

Her lectures are seriously a waste of time, she just talks about equations with little valuable info. Very little use is gained from her lectures and her tutorials are only useful for the solutions. First midterm was fair, but the second and final were extremely difficult especially when you consider how she barley explains concepts properly.

Don't take Physics1801 with this professor. Reads everything off of the slideshows and if you ask her a question, there's never a correct/direct answer. First midterm was fair, although class average was a 44%, but one student got 100%. Due to this, she told us that she's making the 2nd midterm harder, to which the average ended up being in the 30s

pour carries out most concepts okay, but some orders are like messed, she should explain things more in details and clearly, as well make sure the difficulty or format of the tests don't differ too much; i wouldn't say she's my first pick, but i wouldn't avoid her in specific, overall she isn't that bad but she does have a lot need to improve

Such a horrible problem with York's engineering program that this is the only professor available currently for PHYS1800 and PHYS1801. Sincerely hope this changes. She should not even be allowed to teach the course, much less be the only option. PPTX lecture slides are a pain, copied from the textbook, and her lectures are completely unhelpful.

You know, this prof wasn't the greatest at teaching, she relied on the slides a lot. However, if you do not attend lectures, and just go the the midterm and the finals, she will curve your grade significantly, like an unholy amount. Her lectures and slides include spamming a bunch of equations while making countless mistakes. There is little to no explanation on the conceptual parts of the course. It's like she has memorized how the textbook derived the equation and that is the limit of her understanding. My A+ was my work, not a function of her horrible teaching.

Nats 1815 was not an option to say. This course is for non-science major, she is teaching high school physics for a sustainable energy course. Why do all physics teachers have thick accents? I guess it's mandatory criteria to be one. Basically teaching high school physics when I thought would be learning theory and facts about sustainable energy.
