Very easy but very interesting. Although the class is easy you really do learn and she is really funny. Not too bad to look at either. Definitely worth taking her classes because she is fun but you will learn and laugh a lot.

She's Awesome

I had this class at 8am for an hour and a half, and it was not bad. She didn't even require us to buy a book! She is awesome and makes it very interesting. Can't miss many classes, its a real note taking class...but she's awesome on making up exams!

I liked her a lot. She was a teacher that I actually enjoying having. She would make occational comments that made you feel bad or glared at you if you talked in class but other than that i really like her!

My favorite professor at Gannon! Wish there was more classes I could take with her. She always lets you know what is on exams. Never found myself staring at the clock waiting for class to end, I was interested in the material the whole time!

She not only tught the class about psyc, she also shaped us into better individuals. Before her class i was very closed minded, now i'm open minded, she puts things into a different perspective. She is very personable and is very passionate about her subject. She also is very helpful not only in class but with any problems you may be having.

Amazing. She is fantastic at relating concepts to life. I learned more from this class then I have from any other course I've taken. She is funny, nice, intelligent, and a great teacher. She makes you want to come to class, even if you don't have to. The course is simple as well. I just wish she got rid of the textbook. It's not needed.

Amazing professor. I have a degree in Psych and decided to go back to school. I learned SO much more in this class that I will actually remember and relate to "real life" than any psych class. She is passionate about the subject and her students. Take her!

Just writing on the board and then talking about the main points, but very detailed and she uses personal experience often. You will actually understand the material instead of spitting it out for a test. Studying is pretty important for her class.

Pulls a couple test questions straight from the book, but words her other questions in a way that you can only answer them if you really understand the material. Show up, write everything from the board, and enjoy the class!

TAKE THIS COURSE EVERYONE. She is the most inspirational and real professor you will have at GU. She takes the material and relates it to our every day lives. You can tell she loves what she is doing and would not trade it. If I could retake this course just to retake it, I would. She is the highest rating and most liked professor at GU.

Ok, yes she is a funny and engaging professor but can we talk about her tests for a minute? DID WE LEARN THIS???? Is where my mind goes! They aren't impossible but the way she's words them is so confusing. You only have three exams and a 15 page paper to try to pass her class, she offers no extra credit.

She's very dedicated to teaching her students. You can tell she genuinely loves her job. Class was really interesting and I learned a lot because of her teaching style. I thought her exams were really easy (do read what she tells you to in the book). There's one paper about your life related to the class concepts. I wish she taught more classes.

SHE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!! Take this class no matter what your major is she is amazing i wish she taught other classes because i would change my major just to take her classes! I honestly enjoyed getting up to go to her class and would go on my death bed! the test are super easy and the paper is about yourself so its hard not to write 15 pg

By far the best teacher that I've ever had. I struggled with my first exam & spoke with her during her office hours. If you show improvement, she'll change your grade accordingly. Although you're required to do a paper on yourself, it's an amazing experience to go through and she'll use that as a way to provide informal therapy. Incredible teacher!

One of my favorite professors! She's hilarious and always makes class interesting. Her class is lecture heavy, she writes all of the material on a chalkboard so if you don't go you tend to miss out. Class itself is super easy, your grade consists of 3 exams (can be a lil hard) and a 15 page paper. The paper is all about you though so don't fret!

She is amazing and smart and really cares for her students. I have never had a professor better than her and it would be really hard to beat in the future. I really enjoyed attending class everyday because it was enjoyable. She understands the life of a student and tries to relate. cracks a ton of jokes. One paper and 4 tests in the class is all.

Amazing professor. I don't think I'll ever enjoy a college class as much I enjoyed hers. Lectures are interesting and she includes participation which brings the lectures alive. Tests are pretty straightforward as long as you pay attention and take notes. You do have a 15-page paper, which is an autobiography, so no need to stress. Overall 11/10:)

Class was so fun--she makes hard topics easy to understand by telling personal stories. You have to show up to pass, but this shouldn't be an issue bc her class is amazing. Professor Townsend has the best lectures. Her class isn't very difficult, as long as you listen to the lectures and write down what she has on the board. My class had three exams and one autobiographical essay, each worth 100 points. I highly recommend taking her class.
