Teaching style is boring and unclear.
Outwardly hostile towards male students; quizes and tests cover only the inane.
Her accents just gets on my last nerve. She is very impatient and will expect students to know most of the crap that she knows. I do not know how made it.
Need to be prepared daily. Assigns reading and expects you to do it. Class participation a must.
Dr Fuller is Awesome! She is full of energy & she loves what she is teaching & you really see that in her teaching stlye. You can go to her with any question & she is more than willing to help. She is very strict but we all need someone to keep us in chec
good teacher
It is a hard class (you have to know a lot) but she breaks the notes down so you can understand what is going to be on the test. (most of the time)
Lectures after exams. She doesn't let you turn documents or other assignments if they are even one minute late. Strict!
OMG I hated this class she droned on and on during lectures didn't make the class fun at all! Definetely shows favoritism!!!! Won't accept assignments even if a minute late(no exageration)!!!!Dont take this class if your life depends on it!!!
very informative and thorough and you need to leanr a lot to pass the tests
not good
Dr. Fuller, was very thorough in her lectures. She's a very strict teacher who doesn't budge. Us college students should appreciate that because we won't always get slack. Overall, I would recommend her as a teacher.
She's hard, but doesn't teach enough to make up for it.
Terrible. Even the quizzes are tough. Note taking in her class is the worst. She has the terms on the overhead and she READS the definitions during the whole class. Its borderline torture.
SO BAD! I got an A cuz I worked my butt off but I would never recommend her. She doesn't teach well, I love history but she was so bad. I think she hates the US.
Very strict. Her lectures are very important to take notes on and sometmes she doesn't speak loud enough. Pretty intimidating and unapproachable.
Shw was super hard considering i was not good in History. She does not slack and I feel that no matter my experience, Deep down inside if we had more teachers like this then we would have a better educational system in America.
very unhelpful and unclear
Ok she is a nice lady outside of class but omg she is soooo hard and so anal about the stupidest things..you wil fail if you dont follow every direction on the documents. If you like to remember dates then take her other wise she is very hard..got a C and i worked hard for it..:(

Bring ear plugs here accent will drive you insane. Not mentioning you will work too hard for a bad grade.

read all stuff. She will test on stuff that was assigned to read but never lectured on. but its not that bad

Great teacher. Difficult if you don't listen, but not that much if you do.
This professor was horrible. I have never in my life disliked a history class before this one. She seems to be set out to fail you. Take Sturgeon or Mullinax instead!
I hated this class. She expects everyone to write down every word she says. She knows what she is taking about and covers a lot but is very hard. The test is not what she goes over. She tests on things you would never think would be on the test. Very hard on grading her stupid documents!
Where do i start, I haven't even finished this class and I already am failing and it is not because i don't do work or listen. If you don't have time 2 read and hate listening to lectures than DONT TAKE THIS CLASS. This lady is so ANAL about grading.Nothing ever good enough. You will work hard on Doc and still get bad grade.Tests imposible to pass.
Although the massive amount of notes that she gives does get tiring, and her strict grading of the documents is annoying. I did not find the class to be very difficult. If you take good notes, and spend some time studying the book there is no reason not to get an A.
She is extremely difficult, but it is fulfilling when you EARN a good grade. She IS anal about grading her documents and does not provide much guidance; however, I think the level of difficulty overall is appropriate for a COLLEGE COURSE! You will have to work hard, so be prepared!
What an amazing experience 2010 was! Dr. Fuller is a genius when it comes to history and is an awesome teacher. She is difficult but yet very easy, just do EXACTLY what you're asked to do. We took lots of notes in her class, but this is college and it's a history class. If you like skipping class, Fuller is not the prof for you.
very anal about everything and won't help you improve. I mean this isn't an anal class it's a history class. If you asked her a history question all she'll say is look in the book, and when it comes to the documents she's very very picky. I wouldn't recommend her.
Very tough teacher. ONLY take her if you are willing to commit to this class 100% and don't have ANYTHING else happen in yourlife during the semester!!
She knows everything anout history, but expects you to also. I had a death in the family, volleyball obligations and then hand surgery and she was the most un-sympathetic person ever. dont look for any breaks with this lady. dont take her unless you LOVE reading the text, and can write down every word she says.
All previous writers are correct, Fuller is demanding & picky-expects college students to perform at college level. BUT she is NOT impossible to pass-I aced all four classes she taught. Yes, she is EXTREMELY picky about docs, but tells you EXACTLY what she wants. Don't take if you are lazy, tardy & unable to format 1" margin. Serious Students ONLY!
Dr. Fuller is the most difficult teacher I have ever had, and it's got nothing to do with the subject matter. She is not helpful in the least bit if you are having trouble, and she takes "picky" to an entirely new level. I would not reccomend taking her class unless you have an extreme mental disorder. I had a 3.8 gpa until I took this class...
she is very mad with society in general, and she is also raciest.People never never take a class with her.
she is nice ouside of class, but when it comes to class, she is very serious about it. she never smiles and she is always busy, when i needed anything she barely help me .if you wanna get an A" an her class you need to study the book as it is. SERIOUSLY FOR STUDENTS ONLY..AND NEED TO SPEND ATLEAST 2 HOURS DIALY. BY THE WAY NO STUDY GUIDE.
A counselor tricked me into taking this class because I didnt know my ap credit counted for 2 semesters so I found it easy. Impossible to get full credit on quizzes even right answers are marked wrong. Most of the material covered is trivial facts. Overall, shoot yourself in the face before you take this professor.
worst class i have ever taken. It is impossible to get full credit on anything, she find a way to dock points off. Stuff on test, have nothing to do with what you learned in class.she seems more worried about following instructions, than the actual work you do for her,no matter what we were learning she tied it to racism & the civil rights movement.
One of the hardest classes I have taken to date.I love History, but was super disappointed in the way it was taught. Non-stop lecturing during class, hand cramped from taking non-stop notes. Very critical & strict grading, nothing seemed to satisfy her strict demands on our documents! Quizz's were rediculous & never enough time to finish. TOUGH!
She is a horrible teacher, had no pity on anyone (i was unable to do much because of surgery!) Example i had a online class and a proctor at the school click on a quiz for her class when it was supposed to be for another class and i couldnt take the test & she gave me a 0. I even called her as soon as it happened & never let me take it.
She was awful.
The best history class I have ever taken. Dr. Fuller is an excellent teacher who pushes her students hard. She is strict but always fair- doesn't take crap from anybody. The most history I have learned to-date. Must have good study habits to do good in class. Tests/ quizzes aren't easy. If you study you will do good. EXCELLENT TEACHER!
VERY GOOD PROFESSOR.LOVES HISTORY AND IT SHOWS IN HER CLASS. SHE TAKES HER CLASS SERIOUS AS ANY OTHER TEACHER. I LOVED AND LEARNED A LOT IN HER CLASS. AWESOME PROFESSOR.
Her quizzes are almost impossible to do well on, she nitpicks over everything. I hated doing the documents, which are also hard to get a good grade on. She marks off for the slightest thing. The tests are on the most trivial things, which you wouldn't think would be on the test. Don't take this class unless you want to read the book all the time.
I am currently taking Dr. Fuller's class, and so far my biggest criticism is that the documents are due on the same day as a major test on the first 8 chapters! So, you really have to buckle down that week and basically immerse yourself in reading/studying...not an easy task if working a full-time job and/or have children or a LIFE in general!
Alright teacher, you have to read A LOT and do meaningless homeworks assignments(extremely hard because she demands perfection) then you need to read some more and take the hardest test youve ever taken, and you do this for 3 different sections, lectures a lot but there not that bad, if youre a workaholic take this class, otherwise dont
Well right now I am taking her class. I take all the notes for her class which is a good 3-4 pages of notes daily. She is so picky on her documents not a single person has gotten an A on documents she's given out. A friend and I wrote the same exact document just to see if she graded the same. My friend recieved a C I got a B. TERRIBLE TEACHER!!
This is the worst teacher i've every had. I work very hard by taking all notes, participating in class, reading out of the texbook, and studying during most of my free time. I am usually an A student and this is my first D, which I actually brought up from a F so far. She grades extremely unfairly and shouldn't be teaching anymore.
Yes, grade inflation and dumbing down material is rampant at college, so not being a pushover is a good thing- if the way she taught brought meaning to history and the lives of her students. Through her overemphasis on memorizing details (many trivial) instead of concepts and critical thinking, she makes many students hate history instead of pick up a thing or two (even if they don't learn to like it). Doesn't allow make ups, even for computer errors (why I got a C instead of a B). Gives extra credit though.
I worked my butt off......for a B!!!!!!!
I took notes every class (usually 3-4 pages) and read the pages in the book, but none of the information she taught was on her tests or quizzes. I am a hard worker and a good student, but she made it impossible to pass, unless you dedicate 24 hours a day to studying for her class. Would not recommend this teacher!
Dr. Fuller is a great teacher. She id difficult but that is how college is supposed to be. When you go to grad school the teachers are even more picky about papers. I got an A in both AMH2010 and AMH2020. If you study and do what she says you will be fine.
Makes you memorize dumb small details about history, made me hate it!
pesonally i didnt like the cl**** or her. she is too anal about everything. i will never take her cl**** ever again!!!
Did not test over class notes. Unclear about importance of topics.
Ridiculous! She only gave 3 of would-be-easy assignments that count significantly towards your average. We were marked off for all sorts of stuff that were her personal and undisclosed preferences. Once Dr. fuller explained "It's not fair, bu when I was getting my Masters..." Major God complex.
Okay so I'm taking Dr. Fuller's class right now and I am taking the first test this week. All i have been studying are the notes, and I've read comments that say her tests are nothing on the notes! If anyone has ANY tips for this class please let me know, because I really DON'T want to fail this class.
On my way to Dr. Fullers class, my stomach starts to hurt. She's only nice on test days, she says my name wrong, and includes extremely tedious details on the tests that we barely went over in class. She also doesn't allow questions to be answered during her lecture. It's very hard to get a good grade in this class, and I have a 3.8 GPA average.
I thought this professor had a wonderful teaching and learing approach towards her class. She had standards that are reachable it you only follow her instructions. At this level, no can expect a professor to continue to hold his or her hand throughout the course. We had enough of that during high school. Mandatory readings did help with the final.
You must keep up with ur weedings:-)
I like Mrs. Fuller she's very nice and also gives alot of chances for the students to get a good grade. You most certainly have to read the book and study before every quiz and test. I recommend her if your ready to learn and not lazy. I actually like History now because I took her class.
She is very unclear of what she expects of you on tests or assignments. For Example- Me:"Wow! that test was easier than I thought!" Dr. Fuller:" I hope none of you used abbreviations, you'll get the whole answer wrong." Me:"Uh? Why didn't you tell us that before we took the test?" Dr. Fuller:"You should have known that."
Take this class if you enjoy tedious and ridiculous assignments that have little to no bearing on the subject. Don't bother studying lecture or the text, the tests and pop quizzes it will be on some random idiosyncratic fact is barely mentioned in either.
Good teacher, but very strict. she expects you to attend class, and not to show up late. make sure you do your projects the way she wants them. take good notes, you will need them to study for the test.
I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANOTHER CLASS WITH HER AND I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THAT THEY THINK TWICE ABOUT TAKING HER CLASSES.
I took the internet version of this class. Currently we're through about 25% of the course and I have had 0 interaction with the professor. She sends out useless lists of items to study for the exam on but doesn't put them into any sort of comprehensive outline with additional information. The instructions are read the book and take the test.
if u want to keep a decent gpa DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!! i would NOT recommend her to anyone!!
I havent finished her class yet , so i dont know what i will get but so fr she is strict but if u follow her directions it's not bad, but u do have to do the work!
Do NOT take her. Her tests are impossible. She is very mean and unhelpful.
Do not take her.She takes forever to respond to questions via email. Her exams have nothing to do with what you read or the quizes you take.So be prepared for a C on exams no matter how hard you study. So run away just run
Do not repeat do not take her class. Its almost like she enjoys tripping you up.Im a history major and was lucky to get a B.
If I hear ladies and genleman one more time, i'm gonna flip out. Not bad, strict and to the point. Treats everyone like a child. Locks the door at 8am sharp. Berates people from time to time, but she is english, so that explains it.
do not take this class unless u want your gpa to go down. She is not helpful and gives no study guide. Read all you want the questions on quizz and test will be rearranged differently from what u read
ladies and gentleman...i get that were not in kindergarten and shouldnt be babied but does everyone seeking a college education have 6 hours a day to devote to her demands,,,,stay away if you can, i shouldve taken al my friends advice and got out when i could.....and especially dont take this in the summer unless you have no job or other commitment
TEACHER FROM HELL!!! This woman should NOT be teaching! VERY unapproachable, harsh grader on things beyond the scope of the subject of the class (she thinks it's an English class), test are on minute details, many pop quizzes, and her persistant use of the phrase "Ladies and gentleman" will make u want to slit your wrists!
Face it- history is not everyones favorite subject. I took this class online over the summer and had to work my tail off to pull a C. My fault, not the teachers. She is clear in what she expects and on what she expects you to know. Follow her directions for studying and you'll get through it.
WORST TEACHER EVER!!!! she is ridicuolsly hard and locks the door 2 seconds after class begins. doesnt give enough time to write notes and expects you to read thourougly for her random pop quizes -_-
Dr. Fuller was aweful. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN" oh my those words will forever be in my head. I was in the hospital and didnt read and jut wanted to let her know and she told me she didnt care. "no excuses" she said. She is NOT a good teacher or person. Tests were RIDICULOUS. She does NOT like the US and her voice makes your ears want to bleed.
This teacher was the most unhelpful teacher I have ever had. The material was very interesting but there was no guide for HOW to study-just study. I took this class online and all I got was notices for when to take quizes and a list of words to define. Most of which were not easily defined either.DO NOT expect any guidence-ive tried and got scolded
iT WAS A VERY DEMANDING CLASS. yOU HAVE TO REMEMBER A LOT OF DATES.
If for some ridiculous reason you deceid to take this teacher I strongly advise you do so online. Its a basic class, tests and quizzes only. You can use an open book for the quizzes (your at home) and then use the quizzes to study for the test. Her tests and quizzes are beyond impossible unless you spend tremendous time studying.
It seems most people post here to complain. Yes her tests are hard, however if you keep up with the readings each week, you can earn up to +10% EXTRA points, for each test (3) & up to + 18% points for last test. Lots of not taking. It may be hard to get an A, but a B is easily possible. GRADE CAL.: 3 tests count 75%& best 2 of 3 short docs 25%.
Let's be serious. If you read the assigned chapters and go EXACTLY off her study guides, there is no way you can do badly in Dr. Fullers class. So she's sarcastic? She's English. I love Dr. Fuller and I learned SO MUCH about American history I wouldn't have learned from anyone else. She's a great professor and anyone who says otherwise is just lazy
Excellent class. Reading is a must! Participate in classroom discussions for extra credit. Dr. Fuller will make you work harder than you'd like but you'll definitely learn the material.
Very hard teacher, I love history and I dreaded this class. She makes a big deal about little minor details relating to english and not history. If history is not your strongest subject, I highly suggest you find another teacher.
i never drop classes but i dropped her, if u still have time drop now! is my only advise
HORRIBLE TEACHER!!!! Absolutely the worst teacher I have ever taken at IRSC. Her quizzes are impossible and quizzes on what she hasn't even lecture or touched on so you have no idea what she will ask you. She thinks its an English class and if I hear "Ladies and Gentlemen" one more time......
Hey Fuller... Thanks! Thanks for being the reason I'm graduating Friday with a 3.95. Out of 21 classes yours is the only one I got a B in. Anybody that inputs anything nice about this lady has a head injury or, it's her doing it. Not only should the school ditch this idiot but, you should too. Drop the class and wait for one of Mullnax's to open.
Yo, Dr.Fueller is a really nice lady and a good teacher. You can tell she has a passion for American history even though she is English, I took her class 2 times and got an A both times. Just read the text book and study the notes you take in class and their is no reason you should not get an A in her class. And im just an average B-C student
OK if you are an A student like myself who is thinking (as I did at the beginnign of the semester) "I need history..she doesn't look to tough..I can still get an A" DONT!!!! taking Dr. Fuller is one of the worst dicisions I made this year....I have nicknamed her "the devil" because she is the toughest teacher at IRSC!!!! her quizes are the WORST!!!
The hardest teacher i ever had in my life. Gives notes the entire class and when i took the test abut 3 things were on it from the notes. If you want an A don't take her. Quizzes are impossible. Grades assignments like a English teacher.
I'm currently in here class and she is horrible. I'm taking the class online and it shows the class average on quizzes and exams. The exam average is a 54% and the quiz average is a 84% (not to bad on the quizzes). Also I was going out of the country on a cruise and tried to take the quizzes early because it was going to cost me $120 to do it. She
Great teacher. If you want something tough, take Dr. Fuller. If you want someone who won't challenge you, take Mullanax. Dr. Fuller is a teacher who lovs what she does and has a heart of gold.
Dr. Fuller wasn't bad. I took this class ONLINE and would highly recommend doing so as well. Let me tell you, this was one hard history class though. Tests are hard. 100 questions. Quizzes will make or break you depending on what you got. I got a B in the class and I busted my @ss for it! READ READ READ is all I can tell you.
She is a tough teacher but also gives you every opportunity to pass. I missed a few classes so I missed out on the attendance extra credit but the last class she had us play a game to review and i got 10 points added to my final and then got a b+ in the class but do the work and the reading its tough but worth it
Not a student friendly online class.
first off, you can pass the class easily. but you got to read the book and memorize.she isnt specific on whats on the exam.you have a few writing assignments that she grades really hard.but if you have a bad grade she'll let you do one over.but beware shes rude as hell.attitude like theres no tommorow! i failed her class..i recomend walter, judd!
Took her summer class. Bad idea. I did ok, but it was really difficult as she micromanaged everything. Had a quiz due every other day from a really crappy textbook. Would tell everyone to consider another professor. Most students I've spoken with agree.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I TOOK ONLINE, HUGE MISTAKE. She is very unhelpful, rude and seems to have a chip on her shoulder. Sorry, but not everyone is a History major. Bad book, boring material. Memorize, memorize. Blah
Worst teacher I have ever had.She teaches as though this is harvard. I would never recomend taking any of her classes.
THIS IZ THE WORST TEACHER EVER....DO NOT TAKE....
This teacher gave a quiz every week - she didnt tell you what would be on it. She expects you to read atleast 2 chapters a week. Her exams are insane and irrelevant to the information taught in class. she is very rude. She wants all of her students to fail.STAY AWAY!
I never took such an openly rude professor. She is unhelpful and she is all about favoritism. If you don't answer questions in class she automatically thinks you don't do your readings. She rarely takes questions during class so you'll have your hand raised forever. Quizzes are unpredictable and she is way to picky when grading.
Was very strict in her grading, but that only encouraged students to study more. She tried to help whenever she could to make sure that you received a passing grade. The only way you can fail this course if you don't study or read the material; it's your fault, not the teacher's.
"Ladies and gentlemen." Make no mistake, Fuller is not easy, but she does truly care about the success of her students. She expects results. I got an A. I worked for it. She's got a tough shell. Inside she is a softy. I have to admit that I wasn't up for the challenge when I took 2020.
Honestly Fuller is not that bad but you cant slack off you have to do what she tells you to do because its guaranteed to be on a test or quiz and she gives quizzes other week I passed the with a B and I slacked off, but i never did the readings so do the readings and study whn she tells you to.
Dr.Fuller requires you to read your text book. She does tell you when and what your quizes are on so there shouldn't be any surprises. She does count dates so if you don't know it then don't use it or the entire answer is wrong. Her tests are fair but make sure you study because she requires very specific info!Answering questions in class=extra credit
Horrible. Very rude, just trying to hellp you out, dont take her class.
This is the most terrible teacher I have had in a long time she is unhelpful and rude. I am getting a b in her class but that is not what troubles me it is her attitude towards her students she seems to hate them. This is a teacher the college needs to get rid of.
She is a mean lady but she is not to hard if you read, read and keep reading. i like how she gives grades for things other then test so it is easier to improve your grade. she is very attentive to detail and kind of acts like an english teacher as well as history. if you are a determined student you can easily pass but if your a slacker run away
I took this class and I passed with an A. Getting an A is not "difficult" per say, but it does require effort. If I could get an A, so can anyone else, just study and you'll be absolutely fine.
THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD!(AND I LIKE HISTORY!)She doesnot care about you or your grade she gives you alot of quizzes which is good but if you dont like to read then do not take her! she doesnt care if you work fulltime and go to school! so just read your eyes out and hope she in a good mood and you might pass...maybe
Hate history? Want to get passed it? TAKE this INSTRUCTOR! SHOW THAT YOU CARE AND WILL NOT GIVE UP! SHE is a VERY strict teacher HOWEVER to learn history the correct way it is needed. Pay Attention to the chapter outline, answer questions in class;stick with the readings and LASTLY TURN off YOUR CELLS IN CLASS Thanks Dr.Fuller for a great Semester!
Dr. Fuller is intense. She gives you pop quizes, and she gives you 'documents' before every exam, which you have only 3 of. I barely passed that class with a C. Besides, her teaching style, Dr. Fuller really is a nice person outside the classroom. I see her often and she's always very nice. GOOD LUCK TO THOSE WHO HAVE HER, YOUR GOING TO NEED IT!!!!
I took this class online and Barely got a B, out of five classes (including APII & Eng Lit) this was my only B, the rest were A's. Do Not Take her class unless you have a great affinity for World events. Boring, repetitive and extremely time consuming class. And she is NO help.
She is a great professor, although she is strict at times. I took both sections of AMH with her and got A's both times. I really learnt a lot in her class, she is really smart and knows what she is talking about. Answer questions in class, keep up with the readings and study, those are the keys to passing her class. I loved Fuller's class.
Everyone hates Fuller, but I loved her. I learnt so much in her class even though she moves very fast when she lectures. Take notes, pay attention and don't fall behind on the readings. Don't be afraid to answer questions in class, she is more likely to help boost your grade at the end of the semester if you participated. Intense but great!
I TOOK HER FOR BOTH AMH 2010 AND 2020 IT SEEMS HARD AT FIRST BUT ONCE U GET HER FORMAT DOWN ITS A BREEZE. KEEP UP WITH THE READINGS AND DONT BE A FFRAID TO SPEAK UP IN CLASS IT WILL HELP U IN THE END. ALSO DONT OVER THINK THE DOCUMENTS THEY ARE EASIER THAN THEY SEEM. SHE IS AWESOME I LOVED HER CLASS. ONLY DOWN FALL IS SHE IS A SEMINOLE FAN.LOL
She is very rude. I would not recommend her to anyone!
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!! this is the HARDEST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! coming from someone who has been doing sciences such as analytical chemistry! I love history but my goodness this teacher is HORRIBLE!!she gives 100 questions in 90min and IT IS SOOO HARD! her study guides DO NOT WORK! you have to knw the book inside out!RUN!
She has strict rules and formats. However, if you follow those rules, read the book, and take notes, along with studying, you can get a B or an A. ALOT of studying but you learn alot as well.
RUNNN !! Hardest class I have ever took !
Fuller does not have a good attitude whatsoever, she is very rude and arrogant. The class is not hard if you read everyday, study the notes AND the book. The assignments are not difficult but she has unnecessary rules and guidelines.
HARDDD!!! If you enjoy learning about history then i reccomend you take her. The only good thing about her class is that her AMH2010 her Quizes are extra credit. DONT TAKE HER!! RUNNN. i wouldnt reccomend her to anyone i know.
DO NOT TAKE FULLER. Her exams are very hard to pass. She asks for very specific answers and you must know every date, person, and place of everything she goes over. I never scored higher then a D. If you are in class every day you get an extra 5 points added to your final exam grade and you WILL need that.
Be prepared to take a lot of notes. She gives a quiz in the beginning of every class on the previous weeks lecture but it is for extra credit. Strict format for her documents and her test are 100 questions but pretty easy if you prepare. Make sure you read all materials given and you will be fine. Not as bad as others make her out to be.
Although she is a tough teacher, she is a great one. She knows the material very well. She speaks very clearly, she is strict but very helpful at the same time. She is the only teacher from whom I am actually learning something from this year. Truly a great teacher, not a pushover and I believe that's a great quality in a professor. Very nice.
Dr. Fuller has a very rude and arrogant demeanor. It is difficult to ask questions in her class and if she calls on you to answer a question, she chastises you if not answered correctly. If you show up on time to class, you are probably late (and so are your assignments due) I could go on, just to much to say. History is awesome, but not with her.
One word: RUN!!!! She will help you if you go to her office, but her class is just sooo ridiculous! She teaches like you're supposed to teach the class. I don't know why she's teaching a general class!!SHE GIVES 90MIN TO COMPLETE 100QUESTIONS ON HER QUIZES!! Her tests are COMPLETELY HARD!!!SHE IS IMPOSSIBLE! DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!
Be prepared to take TONS of notes! She also requires reading chapters from the book. If you don't read, you will surely not do well on the tests. Material from the book is on tests that she didn't cover in class. Also, quizzes before every class that counts as extra points on tests. Attendance is a MUST!!
A rather strict teacher at times but a good one. She makes it clear at the very beginning that she will not hold our hands but will have to read and study. If you read the textbook, study, and pay attention to the lecture and powerpoints then you will pass. She also gives quizzes very often so she keeps you on your toes. She is strict but is good.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO do not recommend her, the class is not hard but if you do not read the book youre screwed. all you do is take notes
I ended up with a B in her class, but it wasn't easy. She makes you take alot of notes and she gives extra credit quizzes every class. But her class was very boring and I made sure not to take her again. She also has a weird accent.
By any means, pick a different professor! This class is the worst I have ever taken! The study guides are useless! You have to know everything!!!! & don't answer a question in class unless you really know it or she will put you on blast! She is from England & teaches AMERICAN history! & Me & many others I took the class with felt she wasn't to keen on American's which puzzled us as to why she teaches the subject! Don't get me wrong she knows her stuff but adds in her opinions as well..
RUNN!! she doesnt care, do not take her. very rude
A figure head who is only there to lay down rules for the sake of there being rules. Question bank tests and quizzes. Plan to know EVERYTHING, not the most important topics really well. Know everything for the sake of memorizing, not learning. Egotistical. Enjoys CONTROL. The most anal retentive teacher I have ever had.
Strict and anal, but there is a method to her madness. Your sentences and paragraphs improve, and you learn how to deal with a very professional boss as you will later in life. Her class is perfect for an overachiever that wants to be successful. Participate and visit her office for questions. If you work hard, she will DEFINITELY have your back.
If your not going to work hard do not take this class! But Dr. Fuller is a very good teacher otherwise!
This class is hard be prepared to take lots of notes and read every night and take notes from your reading. This is college she will not spoon feed the answers to you. Enjoyed the class even tho it was hard.
This professor EXPECTS you to know all the details of history not just the key dates and names of Treaties. Her test range from small to big with only one hour to take them. She tells you to devote 30mins a day to studying, I had to devot two hours a day just to pass with a low B... Beware and be ready to work hard
Dr Fuller is an amazing teacher. Though she is very strict in what she expect from you, it is a very easy class. The documents are easy but you have to follow her guidelines and her test are the same if you study. Because I a's on my test she allowed me to make up a document.
Rude and expects too much from everyone. Do not recommend to anyone.
Horrible! Tests and quizzes were all 100+ questions and the study guides were useless. All the class is reading the book and hoping you remember some of it for the test. I will never take her again. If you have to take her pay attention and studying the book and nothing else. AVOID TAKING HER ONLINE! The online class is a GPA killer.
She was probably the worst teacher I have ever had. I find American history interesting and she sucked my interest right out. YOU HAVE TO READ THE BOOK! This is awful because every 5 words you need a dictionary for. She talks to the floor not her students. The only good thing is her quizzes are extra credit. My advice run and drop this class ASAP!
Terrible teacher. She's rude and everything is way to hard! Do NOT take this class whith her as the teacher !
unclear and there are SO many folders for online it's ludicrous. NOT ALL ASSIGNMENTS ARE LISTED IN SCHEDULE. SOME ARE HIDDEN IN FOLDERS. CHECK ALL DOCUMENTS. Unhelpful. If you email for help, and she finds it unnecessary, she will end conversation. Study every day.I used study guide, wrote my own powerpoints, and chapter reviews. Requires time.
If you don't have 300 hours a week to dedicate to reading, don't take this course! It's impossible. The quizzes are 100 questions each and so are the tests - and you have to remember every little detail to each chapter. If you have any questions, be prepared to not get answers, just the run around. Terrible. Worst online class so far.
I'd say back away slowly, but it's best to RUN! It seems like she is TRYING to be the worse professor of all time. Don't take her class, don't ruin your GPA! RUN!
IF you do not like history and or are not good at it this professor is not for you! She acts as if she is trying to fail you. She knows everything better then the next person and has no respect for her students what so ever. If you do not buy the book for her class you are absolutely screwed. Worst college experience i have had so far.
I am typically an A student & history is a topic I enjoy. This class was painful! No matter how much I studied and read there was no possible way for a human being to retain all the fine details we were expected to memorize for our quizzes/tests which were 100+ questions each. The teacher seemed unsympathetic to the difficulty of her course.
I was lucky I passed this class, I put all my effort into her class which lead me to do poorly in my other three classes. If this is the only class you're taking, study and read EVERDAY. One of my hardest classes I have taken, she is rude to students and rarely understanding. Plain and simple, don't take her.
this is the worst teacher EVER!!!!!! the quizzes and tests are extremely hard they are just impossible!!!! she wants you to know absolutely every small detail about everything!!!! you must read the entire book!!!! she is a very very rude and mean lady i was so scared to go to class i was just barely able to get a low C please do not take her!!!
absolutely under no circumstances would I ever recommend anyone to take a class with Mrs. Fuller. If you happen to read my review know that I do not post reviews for any teachers but I felt it was my duty to warn every living soul to stand clear of this woman even on her best day. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
The worst teacher I have ever encountered
Dr. Fuller was a very nice lady who I got along with very well. If anyone took the time to actually talk with her instead of being conceited little tools, they'd know she is in fact nice. The class itself, however, is rather hard. Most of the material is through power point but if you have any questions you can ask her and she will help you.
Currently taking this class now, & its making my senior year the most stressful year ever. She was rude, and sarcastic when I emailed her & didnt want to answer my questions. She gives you loads of chapters to read and expects you to know every little detail. Worst course & teacher ever. I advise you in advance not to take this class.
Its a tough class for real!!!!
Do not take her. Do not take her. DO NOT TAKE HER. She is absolutely horrible, if you get stuck with her bless your heart
The worst teacher I have ever had. The only class I have ever struggled in. Read chapter by chapter, calls on you, only like 4 grades. Fail 2 test your done. Never there to help you. No study guide for test. Always a pop quiz every class that's where you want to make your points because they do go towards your tests.
Incredibly rude and condescending to students. Tries to veil this behind a joking manner. This creates a stressful and claustrophobic kind of class environment, and her personal care one on one is no better. She dedicates most of her efforts toward punishing incorrect formatting and being finicky about details and wording, rather than aiding.
This professor is condescending and not at all motivational. Do not ever take her or her class online. Worst interaction I've had in the past 3 years attending classes at the college. Volumes of reading and every test is 100 to 100+ questions. There is no way to retain the information especially with the level of detail she expects.
She wasn't the worst history professor I've had. The tests are not hard if you read, but there is a lot to read. She goes over pretty much everything in class and what she doesn't give can be found in the book. Her exams are mainly multiple choice. Every quiz is extra credit for the exam. You can easily pass if you take notes and read.
Really not friendly or approachable at all. Has 100+ question "quizzes" every couple of chapters and her study guides don't really help very much either. I thought since it was an online class it wouldn't be too big of a deal who I took as a teacher, but it's difficult to keep up with and she doesn't make it any easier.
If you don't read for her class YOU WILL NOT PASS WITH A GOOD GRADE. Her tests are extremely hard even if you read. Same thing goes for quizzes. She's a wonderful person, but this is the hardest class I have EVER taken. I don't suggest taking this class if you aren't ready to dedicate hours to studying every night.
For me, she was a really good professor. The key is, more or less, to be a good student. As long as you do the reading assignments, her document essays, and do well on her extra credit pop quizzes and tests, you are good to go!!!!
This was by far the most difficult class I have ever taken. I spent more than 25 hours per week reading and working on the study guide. There is no specification or narrowing down of the chapters - you have to read the ENTIRE BOOK and are expected to know ALL details. The attitude of the professor was very condescending and rude toward students.
I had to make up my AMH2010, and I found her class to be easier than the professor I took prior to hers. However, it was still somewhat difficult. She is a tough grader, and I was never able to understand her grading methods. She did drop a few low grades - I believe the three lowest quizzes and the three lowest discussion board posts.
You have to read! class is pretty easy if you do your work and listen to her, whenever she stresses on something. Tests arent hard if you read! Quizzes are hard BUT she drops 2. I did AMH2010 and AMH2020 back to back in 1 semester with her and I pass. It was crazy but I did the work. She's a good teacher.
This is by far the most difficult, unreasonable "professor" I have ever had. I made the mistake of taking two of her classes in one semester. She is condescending, unyielding, unnecessarily rigid on details that don't really matter and ultimately ineffective. The homework and study load are entirely too difficult. I would never recommend her, ever.
Horrible teacher
Do not miss the class! She does not post noes on blackboard,so you have to write them all out in class, which is a lot! she gives you so many pop quizzes and you HAVE TO read that book! luckily with extra credit I passed with a B.
Horrible teacher, HORRIBLE. Difficult, nit-picky on irrelevant details, the worst teacher I've had at IRSC. Worked my butt off and barely pulled a C. Will be SO glad when it's over.
A lot of reading not enough homework.
Out of all the professors at IRSC, Dr. Fuller has to be the most unreasonable one. She requested an access code for students who purchased a used book. The price for the access code alone?$122. When I emailed her about it, she said she would withdraw me because I missed 1, &only 1 quiz. I'm taking both WOH2012 & AMH2010. Will be glad once it's over
This is a typical college course. In college, you are expected to read, go to class and study. As long as you are on pace with the course, the pop quizzes will give you extra credit towards your tests. The essays will take some critical thinking to get a good grade. Finally, class participation and attendande are important for extra credit.
This is the worst class I've ever taken. The professor is not helpful at all. She is extremely rude and condescending. She does not like to answer your questions, she just expects you to figure it out on your own.
Even though I rated her pretty bad, she IS an amazing teacher. She'll make you fall in love with history if you didn't already. I would've rated her an A+++; however she is a tough grader, etc. If you slack off, you won't pass. Do the homework with FULL effort, READ READ READ, STUDY, and don't procrastinate. I loved her!
This is the first time rating a professor. I strongly suggest do not waste your time & especially do not compromise your GPA average by taking this professor. She should be a "sentence" professor or even a prosecutor. She is more worried about a perfect sentence structure & finding ways to not give you a fair grade. I am an A, B student, until now.
This is the toughest teacher I've ever had. She has very high expectations and if you don't follow her VERY specific instructions to a T she will take points away. She does give extra credit assignments (do ALL of them), it's the only reason I got a good grade. If you take her suggestions you will do well in the class. I took this class online.
Most students will harsh on Dr. Fuller. Personally, I thought she was a great teacher, As long as you respect her, and you'll be respected. Some call her the "wicked witch of River." But I liked her.
Love Dr. Fuller, she is a tough cookie. I don't prefer anyone to take her if you are a procrastinator. Be prepared to Read, and you will take pop quizzes every other week. i actually took both courses of AMH. first course was a B second course was an A. She pushes you to Love and actually know about history. I suggest study groups will be suitable
I'm a student with very good grades. I would literally spend two hours a day studying for this class. When Dr. Fuller calls on you in class, you better be prepared to answer! I have PSY2010 in the same room and I still feel a wall of anxiety hit me from this class. The weight was literally lifted off my shoulders when I withdrew!! Do not take her!!
Personality wise, Dr. Fuller isn't a bad person and I enjoyed conversing with her. However, this class brought me a great deal of stress. Reading isn't optional, it's essential to passing, as is participating in class. I've also never had a teacher who gives such harsh criticism and grades as hard as she does. This class requires 24/7 dedication.
Not specific in direction, then marks points off for not doing it right. When asking what should be done to correct it, her body language has such a negative connotation and she does not tell you.
Ok here's the deal. Dr. Fuller is nice, tough, but a good person. I'm not a 4.0 student but at least get B's. This was the hardest class I've taken. She wants you to speak out but will rip your answers apart & embarrass you. But mine as well speak lest get marked down for not participating. I got an A in her class, but cost me blood, sweat & tears.
Worst professor I've EVER had! DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! There are no study guides for the tests! You have to read every single chapter to "learn the material". All she does is read off the power points that you can only see during the class. You barely get the chance to take notes, she moves too fast! She lives to see people fail! She has no heart!
Dr. Fuller is a brilliant academic. She gives nothing away for free and every grade you receive will have been earned, not given. Read the book. Take notes. Listen to her instructions. Put forth your best effort and, looking back at the end of the semester, you will have a clear understanding of what it means to truly succeed.
Dr. Fuller is way to strict on excessive words in sentences. We do not learn much because every day we take around 6 pages of notes and we do this for a few weeks until the test. once the test comes we are expected to regurgitate the information from the past few weeks. After the test you will forget the old information and move on to the next test
WATCH OUT! She lays out her rules at the beginning and sticks to them like a robot! If you have questions, ask them after class. You'll learn more from your text book than from her in class, and you'll be tested on your readings, not the lectures, so break out your reading glasses. Finally: FORMAT IS EVERYTHING. Right answer, wrong format F
Dr. Fuller is a very tough grader. She's nice enough outside of the class if you talk to her, but don't think for a second she'll consider that in class. Her work is okay. Basically, do the reading and read over your notes. (lots of both) And don't except her to change her style or have any variation of teaching. Lecturing, lecturing, lecturing.
Dr. Fuller is not helpful at all and I had to forward her syllabus to help decipher what she required. If you take this during summer, may God have mercy on your soul. This is the worst way to destroy your GPA. I've been at IRSC for three years and this has been my most difficult class in terms of pace and instructor character. She doesn't care.
Dr. Fuller is a great professor. I as a 10th grade Dual Enrollment student took her for Amh2010 during Summer 1. Yes shes a hard grader, but it is not high school anymore. You have to do the work and not expect a grade to be handed out. If i earned an "A" while still taking high school classes, then maybe you should stop complaining and study!
Gives a rubric then doesn't follow her own guidelines to grade your assignments and discussion posts. Quizes are 50+ questions per quiz and tests are 100 questions. Study guides are a bunch of vocabulary terms you define yourself and no narrowed focus to help study for tests. Always gave negative feedback, took online and could read her negativity.
THE SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES AND DISCUSSION FORUM DIRECTIONS COME OFF CONDFUSING AT FIRST, JUST READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS THERE SHOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE. EXTRA CREDIT CONSISTED OF DOING THE ONLINE COURSEMATE QUIZZES FOR CHAPTERS, USUALLY A TOTAL OF 5-7 BEFORE EACH TEST AND THOSE POINTS ADDED TO EXAM GRADE WITH THE DQ POINTS. I TOOK THIS CLASS ONLINE.
This was the toughest teacher I have ever taken. Have to read the night before class. Calls on you to answer questions. If you don't go you will not understand. Her pop quizzes are extra credit for the tests, which you will need. They do come straight from the book. If your a good note taker and listener at the same time you will do just fine.
Glad I realized her teaching style before it was too late. She will not answer your question, just a vague response that has nothing to do with said question. Doesn't care if the bookstore is out of books either. Dropped out a week into the class. Everyone else should do the same.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS UNLESS YOU ARE UP FOR FAILURE. There are so many notes to write. Dr. Fuller wants everyone to participate in her class. I personally am good at history and this has got to be the only class I was failing due to her self-made weekly quizzes based on the book not her long 10 page notes she made us study along w/ 40 book pgs.
Time Period, Time Period, Time Period. BE SURE TO KNOW DATES OF EVENTS, But GIRL (Guys Too) Be Prepared Not To Have A Social Life With This Class. This Class Made Me Contemplate If Having A Job While Being A Full Time Student Was A Priority, But It Is ... I Need Shmoney. SMH This Class Was Dumb Petty With Details Like Margins, Heading, & Etc.
Avoid her class. I'm a decent student who gets decent grades, but she's a handful. Thinks herself as intelligent, but in reality just uptight and strict for formatting material. Just study the notes, take personal notes too, quizzes count and be prepare to hear lectures. I'm not even finish with the semester yet and I'm giving a warning sign! (:
WORST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD!!!!! She so rude and condescending. The first day my gut told me to withdrawal. Then I came on here and seen the worst reviews of a teacher I've ever seen, still I pushed on. I'm about 2/3's done from being done with this class and I can say she makes me dread the days I have to go to her class. DROP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Fuller is very fast paced and specific in her requirements. If you are a self-motivated person who loves to give 110% she's the professor for you. I received an "A" by going over the notes and skimming the text right before class to get my participation points, then made a detailed study guide for myself the week of each of her 3 exams.
I am an A student and this class is ridiculous, I live about 20 minutes away from the campus so traffic isn't always on my side, I was ONE MINUTE late and she marked me absent and would not allow me to present an assignment I had.
Does not give good notes, questions on test that were never taught.
As an older student, I felt that I had to devote more time to her class than my family and job. If you have a life, do not have her!!
Never had a problem with history class until this one
Dr. Fuller is a very good teacher. The only way you can fail her class is by not doing what you're supposed to be doing. Otherwise, you will get a good grade. She gives you point for attendance and she also gives you participation points. Not to a lot of assignments (about 6 or so). Do the work the work the way she ask you to do it you'll be fine
Heavy lectures, have to remember ALL details , she's condescending and snarky. Study guide given with terms. Has multiple POP quizzes-fill in the blank/essay type, tests are 100 +multiple choice questions w/written essay questions added. Attendance counts as 3 extra points, you need to know what a 1" margin is. Class is extremely hard, Stay Away!
This professor is the HARDEST 10/10 DO NOT recommend if u plan on passing. u are expected to read 3 chapters ahead of the chapter u learn about in class, u must be there at the exact moment the class is scheduled or ur marked absent, & the tests are nothing like the power points from class. 100 ques. each time & every class is a quiz.
Awful experience with this teacher. School does not care or does not try to take action knowing that the student satisfaction is poor.
Answers of question in a specific format. She is a history teacher but will lecture you on literature. States that is he job. If you have text anxiety stay away. She is very negative towards all students with her broad accusations. She doesnt directly answer questions.
Professor Fuller seems like such a sweet person when she's at home who transforms into a stickler just to teach this class. No one warned me. If I was warned I would've dropped this class a long time ago. Quizzes and homework that feel like it should be easy become impossible when she's taking off points for margins and miscellaneous things.
Be prepared to do a lot of reading and work for a history class. Dr Fuller is a very nice individual outside of class, but when it comes to inside the classroom, she is a nightmare. Only take her if you are a history major, otherwise choose another professor because her class is not worth the time and effort.
I would not recommend this class to anyone who is not passionate about history. She is super anal about her formats but is not helpful in showing you how to correct those mistakes. I highly do not recommend taking this class!!
Her name Fuller says it all, because she is full of herself. The way she treats the student's is completely unnecessary. I felt like I was in kindergarten. I enjoyed her lectures and the material, but I would not take a class with here again. You either need to suck it up or withdraw. I got a B, but it was not easy. Participation matters!!
Terrible is all I can say. Makes you feel dumb for getting an answer wrong, has you manually calculate your grades in class, gave out wayyy too much reading, and doesn't answer questions directly. I'm 1/3 through my semester after this class and I STILL don't have my grade. Have no idea what I got, as she doesn't post the grades on blackboard.
Bad decision choosing this professor. I have high A's in every other class, which are far more difficult than her material. She just tries to make you fail basically.
Grades based on presentation and not actual content. You could write the most intelligent responses and receive a "C" your margin isn't exactly 1". Very unspecific in her grading. It's impossible to fix any issues because she doesn't tell you what the problem is or how to fix it. History is generally an interesting topic, but I dread this class.
I took Dr. Fuller for 2 semesters back to back. By far she is the most organized teacher ive ever had. Unless you dont come to class or dont choose to listen you will know exactly what outside work you must do, mainly reading and taking notes. At first i hated her because she makes you work for your grade but i realized she just wants you to learn.
I am currently taking her online class and it is the toughest class I have ever taken. She gives you the assignments with no instructions. I have always been a straight A student but I currently have a C in her class. I would NOT recommend taking this class with her.
Professor makes the class way harder than it needs to be.
Professor Fuller was one of the hardest professors Ive had thus far. I tried to speak with her regarding my test and quizzes but she is only available 4 hours a week. She isnt understand by any means and is a very very tough grader. Expect to be perfect walking into her class.
A very cold and unforgiving woman. Doesn't give enough information
her tests and quizzes are impossible to do well on and she wont tell you what you are doing wrong. The worst teacher i have ever had, she doesn't tell you how the final grade will be calculated until the last day of course and you will fail. She is also very rude, especially when i emailed her about work. Posts assignments with no instruction.
Do not take this class! Professor does not grade fair at all, my entire class started a group chat about how unfair she is! While taking this class I lost a loved one and could not keep up with the work and she would not withdraw me and showed zero sympathy for my situation.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! Her grading criteria is extremely unclear, and not to rubric. You will not receive clear feedback, only vague derogatory remarks insulting your intellect/ writing abilities. You will either fail or barely receive a C. She does not teach to educate, only to belittle. Do not waste your tuition. DO NOT TAKE HER.
I beg of you PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HER!! She's horrible! Her grading system is highly unclear and frustrating. Her assignments genuinely aren't hard, but how she grades them ?! Oh my gosh please do not risk choosing her and only having her as the last option. DON'T DO IT. You'll highly regret it! She's rude and will not give you clarity on anything!
100% agree with everyone else. On the pop quizzes I would put the correct answer and she would mark it wrong if I spelled it incorrectly. Most absurd grader Ive ever had. I have 2 weeks left in the class and I have no clue what my grade is because she doesnt put anything on blackboard so its gonna be a surprise whether I pass or fail.
This professor is the worst I've ever had. Her criteria are borderline ridiculous and hard to follow because even if you do follow it she will find a flaw in it. I only picked her class because I registered late but never again. Please don't make the same mistake I did and don't take this class. I still have two months in it and I'm miserable.
Her grading criteria is suspect; the amount of points she takes off for a various issues from one assignment to the next is COMPLETELY RANDOM. Her "feedback" is nearly nonexistent and p.s. busier students get ready to have to complete assignments the night before into the early morning hours because her HARD deadline is 8pm not 11:59pm. 1/5
This teacher is ridiculous, her grading criteria is just horrific. I typed the wrong number for an assigned picture on the assignment and she just flat out gave me a zero for the whole thing. I've even emailed before to ask for an extension cause I had a family emergency however, she had no sympathy at all and denied my request. Don't take her
I would not recommend you take this instructor because she is not helpful with taking notes to improve test grades by reading the book to take notes for the quiz or assignment to study for a test. UCF Professors for AMH2010 have the students back and give notes from ppt for online, hybrid, and in-person classes to help them succeed and pass.
If you are reading this before the drop date, you should drop and register with another professor. If you are past this and not able to withdraw, get ready to dedicate 150 percent, no easy A here. She requires weekly phone calls and perfection on assignments. Be open to critique, learn from previous mistakes, communication with her is key to an A!
Awful teacher. If you have her in the future and have the opportunity to drop- DROP! GET A NEW PROFESSOR! Grading criteria is awful. I dread submitting a writing assignment for her cause I know she's gonna grade me terribly over the smallest mistake- and she doesn't let you fix your mistakes. She's a great example of professors abusing their power.
This is the worst teacher I have ever had. Please do not make the same mistake as I did. Anyone else but her.
This professor will make you give up in life, she is such a harsh grader that it is almost unbelievable a person can be this nitpicky. She will marks multiple points off for a misspelling in an essay or paragraphs; she will give impossible quizzes that barely have any time to complete. If you want a good grade, don't pick this professor like I did.
Absolutely abhorrent teacher. She is extremely unapproachable if you need help and holds strict standards. She belittles any attempts at questions. IF possible avoid this professor at all costs while at Indian River, she's bad news. IF you got stuck with her plan your time accordingly and be prepared to read!!!!!!
Two words to describe this "professor" Lazy and illogical. Never have I come across an instructor with such a misconstrued and sloppy semester plan. Powerpoint and lecture material looked older than me, and she has absolutely no moral compass for your life outside of school, nonetheless your other courses. Grades work off a power trip.
just be ready to cry
This is the worst teacher I have ever had. She thinks the "Dr." in front of her name gives her the excuse to abuse her power. Extremely picky and brutal with grading. When you use the given materials for the writing assignments, it is still not enough. It almost seems like she grades based off her opinion, not facts. Majority of her students fail.
I got destroyed by a random pop quiz. The professor says that the quiz are 10 minutes long but are 5 minutes instead. The test seemed easy at first but the second one started doing specific details in history that no one knows nor care about. The Teacher is absolute tyrannical person, no one can ask question, no one can do discussions. She is evil.
You literally have a test every single week that is all essay type questions where you have to write a response based off a few words. this class is absolutely the worst one i have ever taken. You have to read an extensive amount of paper from a textbook that is 120$.
I got an A through blood, sweat and tears. She is literally nicknamed the Wicked Witch of the River and that is by no coincidence. Expect impossible pop quizzes, Tests that requires MULTIPLE chapters of self reading, writing a whole book with notes. She acts like you are beneath her constantly. IF YOU CAN DROP! DO IT NOW! 75% of the class failed.
She grades all the writing assignments extreamly tough. I followed the guidelines for many assignments but she still marked points off for formatting and would not work with me to fix my grade. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. FIND ANOTHER TEACHER.
Just because she has the Dr. in front of her of her name, doesn't mean she can just put others down. She gives out random quizzes and expects you to read multiple pages from a textbook that costs $120, which by they way wasn't even really that necessary.
I would never recommend her to anyone who needs to take this class. Be ready to read five different online books and waste your time doing study guides that aren't accurate to the test, and she's very picky, especially when it comes to written assignments. She is very picky, has a heavy workload, and is unorganized. I do not recommend.
She has marked my answers as wrong for both having too many details, and not enough details. If you ever ask her how many details to include, she will not give you a straight answer. She assigns more work than any class I have ever taken, including a last minute essay and PowerPoint days before finals week starts. This is insane. Do not take her.
This might be the worst teacher I have ever encountered. She grades based on her mood, sometimes I get points off for "too much" and other times for "too little", rather than actual feedback. The "feedback" is quite literally a copied and pasted numbered sheet that I assume she just lazily slaps online for all of her classes. Do NOT take her class.
The worst professor i've ever had. Quizzes only open 9-9 on Fridays, I work a lot so can't always find time to do them. Contacted her at the end of the semester & she was nothing but rude & not helpful. Not understanding at all, very rude. Also grades extremely harsh. Wrote one of my best papers and only got a 66%. I do not recommend this class.
Tough grading and without rubrics. Consider finding another professor
Grades VERY harshly
I do not recommend her to any student. She is not a fair grader and she doesn't care about students & their future. She thinks she's all that just because it says Dr. in front of her name. She belittles you when you ask a question or try to discuss something with her. She has a very smart mouth.
do NOT take any classes with this professor. no clear grading policy and usually just gives grades based on her mood at the time. no one dares to ask questions as she will quickly belittle you. quizzes once a week and wont dare to even give the topic or adequate study material as the quizzes dont relate to course content whatsoever. STAY AWAY!
BEWARE! Do NOT take AMH with Dr. Fuller. She is one of the worst graders I have ever had in my life. If it was only based on quizzes, I would have had a 95 in the class. On papers, she grades based on grammatical mistakes, and “not putting the right phrasing and numbering” in the questions. NEVER EVER TAKE HER if you want a good score in AMH.
DONT EVER TAKE THIS TEACHER. She is super picky. No matter how much I take my time on an assignment she will always find anything to give me a bad grade. I told her I had a family emergency because I missed a test and she had no remorse. All she said was "the quiz is closed." if i could rate her a zero I would.
Almost all quizzes and in class work are handwritten, if you have bad handwriting and your grammar is not correct, YOU WILL FAIL. she treats it as an English class. Your answers will be 1000% correct but if your A looks like a U You will simply not pass. Horrible grader. No empathy. Rude.
Her grading style made things even more frustrating. It often felt like she was looking for reasons to deduct points instead of giving fair evaluations or helpful feedback. During the PowerPoint assignment, she only let two students present and claimed everyone else did it wrong, offering no guidance or chance to fix our work.
