Very nice teacher! She gives reading quizzes after every reading but they're not difficult. She also gives you study guides before the tests so you should have no problem doing well. Very nice and interesting- she does not judge you based on your opinions. If you get the chance, take a class with her!

Teacher of the Year! Her class is interesting, fun, and easy... but that doesn't take away the value of the course. Worrying about grades isn't a factor as long as you do all the simple assignments so enjoying the class comes easy.

Highly, highly recommended. She loves her job and it shows. Very straight forward teaching methodology. Just read what's assigned and you'll do fine on the reading quizes. The tests come directly from the study guides. Also was easy to get in; everyone not enrolled or on the waiting list was added. I'm also taking her for Speech 101 in the summer.

This was a fun and easy class. No real individual speeches instead grp presentatons. Not so much mechanics of public speaking, rather the techniques of arguementation. Learned a lot in a fun and interesting way. Fun lady always in a good mood. Knows her stuff. Fair grader. Wish I'd taken her for 101. Highly recommend.

I dreaded taking speech, but Prof. Anderson made the class painless. She was supportive and encouraging, and really took a lot of the anxiety out of speaking in public. She assigned five speeches, one of them a group project. I am so glad I took her for Speech 101. Strongly recommended.

Honestly, she's very fun and energetic but it's not as easy as everyone is saying. I recommend her if your going to show up everyday and not be lazy. The only flaw of her class is that she gives quizzes, this is a speech class, not a science class. Other than that good expiernce and learned alot

She is a amazing professor. My first time taking a speech class I thought I would be struggling but she made it clear of what she expects she will help you out and give you tips about how to present your speech and how to deal with being nervous. I would definetly take this class again.

I loved Anderson. She is super professional and kind. She does require a lot from students, for example, citing five sources during two speeches. We had a group project that I wasn't crazy about, but it worked out just fine. Use her office hours, she is very accessible.

Her class helps so much with just everyday life, and she truly cares about how well you do and she's so willing to help. She gives you the answers to the test, but you have to pay attention to them!

Pretty easy A if you follow her guidelines and go off her examples. The only hard part is getting up there at first, but she makes it very easy as the class goes on & you'll get comfortable. Quizzes were a bit tricky but easy to ace (drops lowest) 5 speeches, the persuasive & informative are the hardest. 1 group presentation. EC is also given.

Anderson really loves her job, you can tell as she's always happy to be there. This class has 6 speeches (self intro, group, true story, informative, persuasive, and impromptu) but she really makes you feel comfortable. Her grading criteria is really clear and if you follow it you'll get an easy A. Participation is 15% of your grade.

She is the wonderful teacher and really thought-provoking. She will give you tons of extra credit so you should get the chance (extra % from no technology during the class room, 5% for communication competition). The speech includes several parts, importantly only the persuasive and informative speech which take up most of the score. Easy A

Just show up, because participation is worth a good (15%?) of your grade, and stay on track. Prepared most speeches the night before and got over 100%.

This is a public speaking class! It's basically all speeches and absolutely no tests. Professor Anderson is a saint. She is one of the sweetest teachers I have ever met. She's understanding and wants you to succeed. Participate and work hard, if you do so, I can assure you an A! It's a fun class and you learn a lot about yourself. Take!!

Such a great professor! She's so caring and very energetic. Has eight optional assignments to choose from, and only requires five of them, (either participation, short journals, three tests, two projects, or a final essay). Allows a 4x6 notecard on tests. Very easy, meaningful material, and she lectures with PowerPoint slides. Highly recommended!

Professor Anderson is great! She makes the class a fun environment for everyone. Loves when people participate and bring their personal experience into the lectures. Participation is important, missed 1-2 classes won't affect your grade but can boost it up at the end. A ton of extra credit is offered.

tries to get everyone to participate, gives clear examples, you watch hilarious videos that help you intake the lecture. she gives you 8 assignments for the whole semester and you pick only 5 that you wanna do and thats your grade. you do all 8 she drops the lowest 3, easy class if you aren't a good test taker. dont buy book! EASY but u rlly learn

gives 5 speech. in 5, there are 2 speeches she gives full credit if u just do it. 1 group presentation so easy. then 1 persuasive speech, then last a speech where she assigns u in the final day, and gives 10-15 min to prepare go up n do, she doesnt care about the time for this speech ( she gives A for almost everyone) most ppl stay up there 1-2 min

She is awesome!! Makes public speaking a breeze. She really does a great job connecting the class and making everyone feel at home. Its an easy A if you do your part. We did our quizzes in groups, but you should still look over the material. The speeches are easy, just follow her guidelines. She loves her students and she really loves teaching.

She assigns 5 speech and 5 quizzes. For the 2 of the speeches, she gives full credit, even if u didn't meet the time requirements or was unprepared. Out of the 5 quizzes, she will drop the lowest quiz. Also, 3 of the quizzes are done in a group of 4-5 people. She pretty much gives everyone an A for all the speeches. U learn a lot in this class.

She assigns one speech there are a lot of group activities but there quick and easy and you do them in class. She is extremely nice and funny. If you are not good at testing than there are other ways to pass her class without ever having to take a test.

This class was lots of fun and rewarding as I learned a lot. Professor Anderson made the class very easy to pass as long as you showed up, did your work on time and participated in class. The tests are tricky sometimes but she prepares you well for them if you show up for class.

She's a really great professor. She gives you 6 options to determine your grade in the class from which u choose 4. As long as you participate a little, complete the journals (with every extra credit journal), and do okay on the first two tests which are common sense, you won't even need to take the final.

She's simply amazing, she wont put you on the spot and you'll really learn so much from her.

Before I took this class I used to hate giving speeches because I was so nervous and shy. She really helps you get through these things and towards the end of the semester I actually enjoyed going up to speak.

In this class, she gives many extra credit opportunities and even regrades assignments you might have gotten a few points off of. Her class was so fun and easy and she always gave great feedback.
