She's a very sweet teacher, always tries her best to help you understand. She isn't the greatest teacher, but she tries and she wants you to like her. She is very unorganized, but that makes for an easy A, even if you don't learn much.

she is a very nice lady. when the whole class failed the first test she had a make up and gave a review, she wants you to understand the material. we had homework, but it was worth points and went over it in class, i strongly recommend her as a teacher, she is very down to earth and helps you to get a good grade.

She is a woman of small stature, but will help you if you ask her. Despite being very quiet during class, a nice lady, reccomended for people who arent too jazzed about taking math.

She really cares about her students and wants them to do well. She is very smart with a great personality. I lost my 4.0 GPA by getting a B in her class but it was my fault since I failed the first test. I'll be taking her again and I recommend you do the same.

I enjoy the fact that he sort of goes off subject once and a while while lecturing because it keeps class interesting. He is also a very fair grader.

The cass was extreamly difficult but Barb. will due anything in her power to help you understand. She gives alot of help during the exams but if you don't ask you wont receive! I really struggled at first but once her rut is established and if you go to class it is impossible to fail. The questions on the exam are very similar to thoseinthehomework

Excellent teacher - knows her stuff backwards and forwards and explains it fantastically. Her class quickly became my favorite of the semester (indeed, of the year). She's happy to answer questions and makes herself available to help out. I hope to take more classes from her in the future.

Prof. Erysian was helpful, always went over assignments, gave out test worksheets that were right on target. Lots of Homework, but it made the class easier.

Professor Erysian has a way of explaining complities by simplifying. She is helpful and organized. Much homework ensures mathmatical methods stick, she rocks! I would take her in the future.

Put effort in and you should pass. I took math12 and math30 and passed both classes. She will answer and help out with problems, just half to GO TO HER OFFICE.

This class is both easy and interesting. It is a hybrid class but it also has normal class so it fits perfectly for people who love MyMathLab

I very grateful for Barbara Erysian. I am a returning student for the third time and I had a lots of doubts in my ability to pass this class, however Barbara cares about each of her student enough to help them pass when they are doing they work.

This professor is very clear in her lectures. She cuts straight to the point and that helped me. I took this course twice before in a 16 week term, and failed. I took her in the summer(8 week course) and never had a grade lower than an A. She lectures quickly, but always stops for any questions. I highly recommend her.

This class has an online component to it called MyMathLab so in other words... You must be really precise in your response... WHICH IS GOOD. She is a great woman to talk to, teaches straight to the point utilizing very effective methods, and she provides a lot of help. I would take any of her other Math classes any day.

Since I took this class as an online, I did not interact with her very often. When I did email her she would respond in a couple of days. All homework is on mymathlab as well as quizzes. Tests are mandatory to take on a sierra college campus and are the most points. I had an A on homework and a B or C on tests and received a C in the class. Study!

Professor Erysian is the best math professor I have had so far. There is a lot of online homework in this class but her class is worth it. She is a wonderful teacher with a sense of humor. She wants each student to succeed. I would take her for every math class if I could. Also, the hybrid version of this class will be harder. Take it on-campus!

BEST MATH TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFE ! She gives so many opportunities to get your grade up. Tests are not that hard if you study. She is an amazing teacher but you have to learn some materials yourself.

She is awesome, teaches the material in such a clear and easy way where anybody can learn and pass the class. She is on your team the whole way she will do everything in her power to get you to understand the material and she will literally go out of her way to help you get a passing grade if there is any way possible. Hybrid class using mymathlab. short homework and quizzes due each week. Only 4 exams total. Good for you if you are decent at math and just need a little support/explanation while in class. Can work ahead in class if you want to. Multiple choice exams with a couple written answers. Very flexible and understanding. Similar concepts to Math A.

I have always struggled with math, and found myself confuse most of the time. But when I took my math 000D class with Mrs. Erysian, everything seemed to change. I would strongly suggest her to any and every student. Awesome, and understandable lectures, that helped me learn all the material. She respected the students, and did an awesome job.

It had been years since I took a math class. I took this class as a refresher to prepare for Math 24. She shows how to do the work and makes the class notes available on Canvas. She is a little quirky, but overall, you can tell that she truly loves what she teaches. She will help you with problems, and won't make you feel like an idiot for asking.

Professor Erysian has been very helpful this semester. I took the same class over the summer but failed it. I have always been a below average math student, but I'm doing well in this class in large part to her. If you are ever in a crisis, she'll sit you down and gladly walk you to see a counselor. She seems very genuine as a teacher and person.

She's honestly not bad at all, most people complaining in class didn't take the time to undertand the concepts in their own time. You have to understand that this course is a pre-calculus replacement and spending time outside of class to understand concepts is necessary. She wasn't the most organized but was chill and always helpful.

I took Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus in high school, so I had a jump on the material learned in this class. She's super nice and definitely makes sure you understand each step in the concepts she teaches. The most important thing is to attend every class for lecture, do all the online homework, and ask questions when you don't understand.

I suck at math, Barbra changed that. Her teaching style prepares you for future math classes, and allows you to really work at understanding the material. LOVED HER and hopefully I can take her again.

lecture explains very well without rushing looks to the class for participation uses the online math lab which is can be hard to get HW points bc the answers must be written exactly. she's super nice and helpful, i took her for college algebra as well but I think she was a better teacher for math D. test r 1/2 multiple choice, then written answers

Best teacher yet, I struggle a lot with math and she was able to clearly direct me to the help I needed. She hardly contacts you unless its for the final or midterm but other than that its all on you. I was pleasantly surprised when my usually grade in math is a C- and ended up with an A. Would recommend to anyone!

Her lectures are helpful and clear. Homework was sometimes light sometimes heavy, but that's a math class. I took the online hybrid class which I would not recommend if it's been a while since you took algebra 2. Online was my only option, I wish I could have taken a full class with her.

The best math professor ever! She breaks everything down to make sure a majority of the class understands, and she doesn't rush the curriculum if we aren't there yet. She sometimes opens assignments back up to give you a second chance if they're late. She made an 8am math class enjoyable, and hopefully I will have her as a professor again.

Barbara is super sweet and genuine and I really like her sense of humor. She truly strives to be available for her students and is willing to get them involved with counseling for real life situations as well. She makes it clear that she wants you to pass and is on your side and actually made math doable and I truly enjoyed her class!

She's great at teaching! The majority of my class weren't math majors, and she understood that, so she taught us enough to pass her class and continue math if someone wanted.

This Professor is hands down one of the best and most caring ones that I have had at sierra college. If you just show up to her class and participate you should be able to handle her tests fairly well. Shes super easy to talk to about any questions or concerns that you may have. Also, she did an amazing job with the switch to online.

Barbara is a sweet and caring professor. She really wants her students to pass and succeed. Her stats class is easy and she uses the online program Pearson. She gave us a notecard to use on the test so we wouldn't forget any formulas/calc functions. There are two tests, one final and grades are heavily weighted by the tests. Overall, great prof.

She'll help you with any question you ask basically and will give try to help you pass if you ask her. The program mymathlab program is ok but i figured it out and it was great. if you do the assignments you will pass.

I was told in high school to take remedial math but she told me I could do it and I did. She helped me after class so much. She will let you use note cards on the exams which are really helpful. DO THE REVIEWS for her exams and you'll pass. If you're math phobic or really bad at math she will help you get through it.

Professor Erysian is one of the best professors I have had in my college career. She explained the material logically and made sure to ask if students had questions before moving on. She allowed for late assignments (except Exams) with a 25% deduction of points. This is more than fair. She also gave out her phone number so we could contact her!

I got nothing but C's in High School Algebra but after taking this class in college, I got my first ever A in math! Her lectures are very solid and she takes time to explain the concepts which I believe is important to doing well in math. She uses MyMathLab which a lot of people don't like but I didn't mind it too much. Overall, great teacher!

This math class was very good, especially if you take it and actual try to learn and set time aside for this class it is amazing. The professor is so nice and if you have any questions she is willing to give you extra trys on the quizs. Loved this class, Only reason i got a B is because i didnt have much time to focus on specifically this class.

She thoroughly teaches coursework. Concepts are tough but attending live zoom is a key to success. You can call her 24/7 for help. She WILL ANSWER. Your grade is a direct result of the effort you put in. Tips for success: do all homework, utilize 24 hr tutoring if needed, do the exam reviews its worth it, get a TI 84 plus CE, participate, notes!!

The course work is given through MyMath Lab, so that is required. There are Zoom Meetings either in the morning or at night, which I would highly recommend attending as they are crucial in understanding the material and important dates for the class. You can always call her with questions. There were 5 tests in total, 2 of them being finals.

She's seriously one of the math teachers I've ever had. Her lectures are clear. If you take this class you will learn math. Also, she uses MyMathLab which is way better than Alex. She puts a lot of work into her students. I've never been able to get math but I passed this class with her help. You can even call her to get hlep.

I highly recommend her for stats. Her lectures are great and recorded and available after class . She uses MyMathLab which is easy to follow . YOu'll get pass if you do the work. She's always available and ready to help you one on one.

Professor Erysian is more than helpful. She will let you call you and ask her any questions. MyMathLab works great because of the videos and help me solve the questions which basically give you answers. Her exams are just like her study guides and are really helpful. If you do the study guide you will pass this class.

If you need actual lectures sign up for her class. She teaches in a way that I can understand. She'll answer your questions and takes time to listen to whatever problems you have. Her review is like her exam just longer but if you do it you will pass the class. If you miss an assignment, you can still do it after the deadline.

Barbara is a caring teacher. She will give you chances if you miss an assignment so you can keep your grade up. Also, she actually lectures during the class time which is really helpful. You can ask her homework questions or any questions. Her lectures are on Zoom and not recorded ahead of time. They are posted after. Do the work and you'll pass.

If you hate math take her. Her lectures are really step by by step and she will even do the homework with you. She's really friendly and cares about you. I never thought could pass stats and saved it for the last class but I did thanks to her. MyMathLab is also great but her test reviews are better. If you do these you'll pass no problem

Erysian will get you through the class if you do the work. I highly recommend her. She's really easy to approach and very helpful when you do. Just do what she says and you'll pass. If you do the reviews for the exams you'll pass.

I always struggle in math but this prof is making is possible to pass her class. She will take a phone call or return your message any time of day. She gives Zoom lectures two times every week and will take as much time as you need to answer your questions. She cares about her students. I recommend especially if you're afraid of math.

I just finished 13A and got an A! I never have been good at math but now think that I can do it and am happy to have found this prof. She will answer all your questions and is always available outside of class. The reviews for the exams are really helpful and if you do them you wiIl pass her class.

I failed statististis twice but passed this class with an A. She used MyMathLab for homework and then gives Zoom lectures to explain everything in the class. She will always help you if you get confused and even if you need help on the weekends. If you dread math take her class and you'll pass if you get her help.

I really enjoyed being in her Elementary Statistics class. She was very nice and always asked students if they had any questions or understood the lecture. Zoom meeting attendance isn't mandatory but I really recommend you attend them. You buy a subscription on a website where you basically do all the work on but also has a lot of resources.

Best Teacher Ever. She was helpful outside of class and I could get all my questions answered right away. She is super patient and flexible and will let you take your quiz late. She does Zoom lectures where you can watch and ask questions if you want but no pressure if you don't. She will help you get through this tough class.

Barbara is great. She goes at a slow pace and makes sure you understand everything. I took Math 13 and I would advise getting the specific calculator. She shows tricks to get the work done faster. She doesn't have extra credit. She goes over the questions on homework, quizzes, and tests before you do them. She gives out her number for questions. :)

This professor is very dedicated and has a clear format of how the class will go. You can tell that she has experience in teaching this class and is very efficient with answering any additional questions. To succeed: Follow the course structure, do not procrastinate and study.

Even though this class was a bit tough for me I would still take this teacher again! I would recommend watching the lectures as you go through the course. We had two attempts for each quiz, test reviews (optional), and 1 attempt for the tests. The homework does give you examples if you are stuck on a problem, which can be helpful.

Definitely recommend if you struggle in math! If dealing with any problems and you miss work there is only a 10% late fee with homework and tests. Very understanding.

Prof Erysian really wants her students to succeed and it's obvious by the amount of time she will spend helping you. Her lectures are available online through Canvas too. The class is managable as long as you do the homework and quizzes. If you're not great at math but need statistics you'll do great in her class.

This class is intense! but you have extra opportunities to score a good grade on homework problems (5 attempts each problem), you get 2 changes to take quizzes to improve your grade. Grading criteria and lectures are very clear. She is easily accessible outside of class and canvas. If you are dedicated to the class and want to succeed. you can!

She explained each unit very well and you can contact her with any issues. She had weekly zoom meetings for anyone needing help and hw was bearable. Some weeks were heavier on hw than others, but quizzes can be retaken. She gives practice tests before each one (in-depth practice tests for final). Overall great teacher with great resources.

This class wasn't hard if you paid attention to the lectures in mymathlab and watched her zoom recordings. We didn't use the textbook, just the lectures from her and the site as I mentioned. She explained things for you through canvas messaging if you ask, and if you needed further help she could help you or you could get free tutoring from school.

She is honestly the best math teacher/professor I have ever had. I had taken Stats 2 times before this last semester and failed twice, so this was my last opportunity to pass, and I ended up receiving a 96 in the course. She was super understanding and was very thorough in her lectures and was always looking to help people if they didn't understand

She made a very great first impression on me within the first 2 weeks of class. She's always wanting us to open up to her about anything we're confused on. For instance, she knows that some of us feel nervous to ask questions and encourages to do so because it can also help others around us. It gives us a safe space to feel open towards questions

Prof. Erysian is an excellent math teacher. Lectures are very clear, and there are lots of opportunities to improve your grade. Plus, Unstuck ai was super helpful for studying!
