She does get off subject. Her tests are only hard if you weren't paying attention (sometimes she'll tell the answers). She lets you re-take tests and you can study off of your old test WITH the help of other people. She just wants her students to know the BOM and have a testimony of it! Awesome teacher I'd take another class from her any day!

Morgan may be the WORST religion professor on the campus. She does NOT *teach* you anything, saying that we should learn all the history and such on our own. Classes are used solely for "share our feelings" sessions. 5 papers plus daily journal and tests for grades. If you want to actually learn anything DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASSES FROM THIS TEACHER.

Technically, she IS a teacher. But she does NOT live up to that title.Classes are more like a typical episode of Oprah. Nothing gets taught, we are expected to learn it on our own(when she lets us know what we need to learn). Do not take class from this professor if you intend to take more than the girl to your right's feelings away from the class.

Not good at teaching the B of M at all. I could learn what she teaches in sunday school or on my own. The only reason she has mandatory attendance is because nobody would come, because we don't learn anything. She does bring in the spirit, but the point of the class is to learn the doctrine and history of the B of M. She needs to do both

Sister Morgan is more concerned about your spiritual growth than you learning the history of the Book of Mormon. She lets you retake tests, and it's the same exact test that you took the first time! She's all about finding the spiritual side to things by having students share ideas in class. Which essentially means the tests were not about what we talked about in class. Barbara Morgan Gardner is my favorite professor at BYU. You can get an A if you apply yourself - I didn't try very hard and I regret it. It's a discussion-based class and the topics are always very interesting. She offers a lot of insight and she really cares about her students.

Professor Morgan's Eternal Family class is amazing. Its mostly discussion based with a few assignments. She's very straightforward and offers a lot of inspiration and wonderful first hand experiences. She really cares about her students and took the time to learn all of our names. I learned a lot. Pretty reading heavy but its manageable.

Sister Gardner is incredible - deeply knowledgeable, inclusive to all opinions, and easily accessible. There's not a whole lot of graded material but there are frequent pop quizzes on a somewhat large amount of reading - like four or five talks and five to ten scripture passages for every class, plus a semester-long project.

The online version of this class was SO much work. We had weekly modules that had a TON of readings. We didn't have live lectures it was just readings. We had to keep track of over 40 articles and conference talks just for the midterm plus the regular readings. Way too much work for a 2 credit class. I had to 8+ hours a week to get an A+

This class SUCKED. You write 800 words/week and study guide for midterm and final are both 25 pages (somehow still questions not from it). On top of that, there's a semester long project AND a 7 page paper due at the end of the semester. Also, no communication from the professor or the TA, due dates would change sometimes with no communication.
