Barbara is a very unhelpful teacher. She promises to be at tutoring sessions and ends up skiping out (which was a 1st for me). She refuses to believe that she is human and makes mistakes grading. She is really only teaching for a passion for a paycheck rather than a passions for students to learn.

I took the class online but Prof. Graham was great in interacting with us students, mainly through weekly discussions. There's a lot of homework to do, weekly investigations and tests. Overall I liked her and I would recommend her to all students.

You need to apply yourself 500% in this class to pass. She doesn't give out any notes or study guides. Here's the breakdown: 14 Chapter quizzes, 3 big exams, & notes. You have to read the book BEFORE class and shes a tough grader. I always came to her office for help, but she was never there.

This was my third class with Ms. Graham, and by far the easiest. As long as you do the work in an appropriate manner it isn't too hard and it honestly isn't that much. She is much easier to take online than in person, but I still find her a great teacher nonetheless.

Professor Graham is by far one of the most passionate, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable professors I have had the pleasure of knowing throughout my college journey. I dont know what the negative feedback is about, YOU GET THE GRADE YOU EARN. Her exams are not multiple choice, and they are worth half your grade; so study hard and you will be fine.

Prof. Graham is amazing. She really connects with you if you let her, but her class can be difficult if you're new to the subject. She will always help you outside of class and she is very passionate about her subject. She is a real mentor and makes this class really fun. Tests are hard, but study and ask for help and you'll have a great experience

Absolutely ridiculous. I spend at least three hours on my homework and I still get a C on them. I'm an A student. Her homework is the worst. She has like 12 questions or so that make no sense so it will bring your grade down and there is no explanation of it in the book or in powerpoints. She doesn't help you at all besides sending you nonsense.

Wouldn't recommend this class teacher lacks to put anything up that would indicate what you're getting into. Her pre quizzes are worth more than her test all together. Still passed, but if you hate having a social life or have work. Would not take this class . She is really quirky but does that really make up suffering to strive for a good grade.

Professor Graham is such an amazing professor! I love her fun, silly personality, which made it much more enjoyable to learn in the class. There are three tests, and they are fairly easy to complete in the class time if you study. There are also note outlines and pre-quizzes before going over each chapter in class. You should take this class!!

Ms. Graham is an incredible professor!! She cares so much about her students and teaching them all of the interesting things about geography. In her GEOG 104 lab class, doing fun activities and going on hikes in the Henderson/Boulder City area are all you need to show up for and participate in. It is so much fun getting to go outside and learn!

I had a great time with Professor Grahams class. Youll have to read the book and write notes, but the bare minimum will you get an A on this. But make sure you at least somewhat understand for the quizzes. The tests are where the difficulty lies, but if you create your own practice questions and answer them in essay form, youll do well.

Assignments are straightforward, but some seem like busywork. This professor claims the Canvas grades tab is a "repository" for grades, meaning it's inaccurate for the semester (i lost 6% off my grade). We were not made aware of this til the last day of the semester (after she submitted final grades) as it's not stated that way in her syllabus.

First prof I'm rating before I'm done with the class. Her grading criteria is UNCLEAR and she marks points off when you don't magically know to do things outside of the rubric for assignments. Kind of has a sour attitude when people don't immediately understand things.

She is very passionate about her subject. But honestly, she put her lectures at noon on a Monday when most people are at work and then gets pissy that no one is in her lectures. A lot of her assignments are unclear, I had no clue what I was trying to accomplish. All of her assignments are off Jet Stream instead of a textbook.

No papers or tests, just weekly quizzes and assignments. Some assignments are made for children (cutting shapes of tectonic plates and gluing them to a paper), but I can't complain; they're easy and informative. Some instructions could have been more clear, and I wish she'd show more leniency for personal circumstances, but overall, a solid choice.

This class was pretty average in difficulty. Most weeks contain a 10-question quiz (1 attempt and 15 min time limit) and a crafty exercise ( lots of printing papers, colored pencils, markers, etc). She is there for help whenever you need her and she isn't strict on attendance. She records her lectures! No textbook and no final exam or midterm!
