I may be dropping this class and I just took Biology honors in high school. She speeds through her lectures and goes off on rants about totally irrelevant subjects, liker her dog. Her tests are unpredictable and she dangles extra credit just out of reach. Finally, her research assignments are off topic and a complete waste of time, as well as impos

This teacher is not a teacher, but a more of a instructor. She is very hard, I had her for her first semester, and nearly the whole class failed, best she tells us to read half the book, just for only 4 test that are in her class, I didn't like her class, makes biology a horrible chore, which it's not.

this is a warning: dont take her. i thought i would pass her class after studying to death the whole semester, and i had a 89.5. she didnt give me the a, even though there were only 4 students left in the class. avoid her at all costs.

Dont take her unless you are majoring in biology. she knows the subject, but she is not easy, you need to have previous good knowledge of Biology, it is not an easy class, no extra credit, the ex credit that she gives is useless.

She is horrible!!!! She has a huge ego...thinks she is so smart. Does not care if you pass or not....reads thru pages of notes prepared by her brother in law who is a professor....she is horrible. It makes her feel smart for you to do poorly...DO NOT DO IT!!!! It is only to be expected from Godless athiests

OH ya and she makes you write long horrible paper that has nothing to do with class rambles on for hours in the most horrid tone. Rolls her eyes uncontrollably (kinda creepy) and speaks in a constant sarcastic tone - which would be expected considering she is SO SMART...she can't even come up with her own material...she does not deserve to teach BA

Horrible!! All of the tests are on 4 chapters each. She gives no clue or hint as to what is going to be on the test. No study guide, outline, nothing. When you ask a question she gives you a smug sarcastic response. She is extremely intelligent and expects you to be on the same level as her. No extra credit and no real class work. DO NOT TAKE HER!!

Worst Teacher EVER! Do not take her class. about 75% of the class withdrew. She goes over stuff in great detail that is not on the test, then doesn't mention other stuff that is on the test. I don't think she wants to be teacher, and she doesn't really teach. If you ask questions she gives you smug sarcastic responses and rolls her eyes. AVOID HER

This profesor doesnt know how to treat her students well. She is a unsympathetic cold hearted human being that has no consideration for understanding that her teaching methods just suck & she does not care to help you out.She does not care for any of your excuses and wouldnt give you a break.She always has a favorite in the classNOT A GOOD TEACHER!

she is nice but you have to study a lot. Also you need to memorize the chapter. You have to be willing to read and study all week. She moves fast but you learn from the class. Also she gives easy writting assignments. If you are lazy dont take this class. I dont recommend this class. I got an A but it was on of the hardest classes I have taken.

Professor Guittierez is the worst teacher on this planet, she goes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy toooo fast she spends one hour on each chapter of 7 sections. if you dont have complete time just for that her class and read the book 24 h you will fail. The tests are lenghty and hard and she doesn t even let u keep the tests to rerview she skips a lot. Donottake

man..!! this teacher speaks like a machine you wont understand a word unless u were a biologist already. only 5 people will survive hert class by the end of the semester 3 of them will fail and 2 will pass. so dotn waste ur time and money to take her. she skips everything and rolls her eyes 100 times/s u will feel drowsy just trying to look at her

DO NOT TAKE. I had a 4.0 after taking 19 credits in one semester, took her class and got a C. She does not test on anything you have seen before, you need to memorize the book to pass her tests. Only one person had an A out of 30, and 95% had Cs

Okay. This is serious, please do not take this professor. Find someone else that has a higher rating. Because this professor is incredibly hard. Talks to fast. Her chapter test are four at a time. You barely have enough time to study. She speaks to you as if your an idiot. Majority of the class withdrew by the end of the second chapter test.

If you want an A. This is not the class to take. You better have a clear understanding of biology, because shes teaches you as you are already a biology major. Only one person passes per semester. So please don't take her. Your grade will suffer severely.

Her lectures leave you with more questions than answers. You don't get a single study guide. Your stuck trying to memorize every detail in the book. She doesn't actually teach she just stands there and lectures in a monotone voice. she has no Passion for teaching and helping young minds learn new things. The text book has more passion for teaching then she does. I hope she reads this and changes her ways!! Just reading a PowerPoint slide isn't enough. You gotta "get your hands dirty!"

If you have not taken biology in a long period of time, I do not suggest you take her course. She speaks very fast and she speaks in a form as if you already have a degree in biology. In Overall I am a good student and have good grades, but for some reason I cannot grasp the way she teaches biology. I do not recommend her to anyone.

Memorize 25 pg./5 d. not help, extra credit are not EXTRA, include in overall grade, not related to biology, she make sure you do not know them, no study guide, notes/lecture do not enough, she try to give less points that you are really make, 90% student in my class FAIL. The law, more than 50% fail, complain, return grade or get free class.

Awful professor. I paid money to watch her stand in front of a projected screen and recite what it said. No explanations, no teachings. I learned absolutely nothing and even with reading the textbook somehow the class was nearly impossible. Irrelevant 800 word assignments about bears and frogs. I took the class again w/ diff professor and aced.

Personally, I regret taking this course and wish I could have withdrawn when I had the chance. Although this class is meant to be challenging, the professor makes it 10x harder. Her tests are impossible to pass and barely anyone is passing her class right now. Many students have tried talking to her about their low grades and she did nothing.

The course is taken online this semester and I recommend to not take this teacher. She doesn't teach one bit, not live classes, no live zoom meetings, nothing. You have to teach yourself the work and the tests are very hard and some questions in the tests aren't included in the textbook chapter. This course is hard to pass.

This is honestly one of the worst classes I have ever taken. Albeit the class was online and the transition from physical to online classes is difficult, this is still a terrible class. I haven't learned a single thing from her directly. She assigns you crash course videos, Khan academy, and lectures from other professors and calls it a lesson.

If you care about yourself, you would not enroll in any class taught by her. She assigns a great deal of work, but she makes it unnecessarily difficult. She is not cooperative in any way, shape, or form, so be warned that if an emergency happens, she will be completely unconcerned. Her extra credit is donation blood and food. SELFISH WOMEN

DO NOT TAKE HER! My grade on assignment is 98 but on the test is 60. Her online class and lecture is waste. She said the other student cheated and removed her score multiple times when that student tried to explain that those noises from her neighbors bc she lived in apartment. You have to do the lab when she not guiding anything.

The professor is smart and she makes it well known. I barely passed, had to give plasma for extra credit to be able to make it. Labs are in person and lectures online about for half of the semester it was power point slides but towards the end she got lazy and it was just YouTube videos of other teachers in class. Talks mostly about her chickens.

This class is a very very tough class. I stayed in it thinking that I could pass it but i was definately wrong. Everything I by the book. the assignment are easy to comprehend but the test are nothing like the assignments. I felt like I haven't learned anything. Ive never been so confused with a class in my life.

I took her online class and I spent at least an hour or so every day studying and going over study modules and then when it came time for her chapter exams practically nothing that was in the study module was on the exams. She also grades super heavy on exams and not on homework so if you do bad on her exams pretty much no chance in passing.
