Dr. J was absolutely one of the best prof I have ever had. She is helpful, funny and witty. She also helped me after class and gave me lots of great advice when I was discouraged. Keep up the great work Dr. J and keep writing your funny scripts!

Dr. Jackson is the best professor I have ever had. I reallt dont' like chemistry but she really made it fun and interesting and made me want to come back to the class. And she cares aobut student's lives outside of the classroom.

Great teacher. I scheduled my second semester around her lecture class. Everyone has an extremely easy opportunity to pass her class with good grades. I give her an A in Teaching!

Dr J is great! She teaches the material to you, like you don't know it, which is exactly the way one wants to be taught. She's very helpful and has a great sense of humor. Definitely take her if you get the chance!

Dr. J is a awsome teacher, she will help you in anyway she can. She normally gives a quiz every tues. and lectures after the qiuz and on Thur. She will give anywhere from 5-10 points for just being there and not leaving early. Do not buy the book.

Go to class, pay a little attention, you're sure to get an A. And if you can get her for lab, it's even better!

Just go to class everyday so you don't miss a quiz. Her old tests are on the web her notes are on the web, and any questions you have she is glad to answer. Chemistry doesn't get any easier.

she was a good teacher, but you really have to be in tune w/that class. missing classes totally throws you off, and she doesn't do make up tests/quizes unless there's a big problem. notes/sample quizes are on the internet..all in all it's a good class w/a good professor-you just have to do your part

I like Dr. Jackson. She really tries to break things down so everyone will understand. Just look over the stuff on your own outside of class. Study a little and you'll be fine.

If you work with her, she will work with you!!She doen't call roll but always go to class because you never know when she will give extra credit for being there. Dr. Jackson's a NUT! For the first few weeks I had no idea what she was talking about. If you go to class, you'll probably make a B. If you go to class and study a tiny bit, you'll make an A easily. She likes students, and she works with you.

she is such a wonderful person. she actually cares about her students unlike a lot of other teachers. she wants us to do good not only in her class, but in life. shes very funny and entertaining. she is very clear in her lectures. all notes are online. she reviews before quizzes. i *heart* dr. jackson!!

this class is very easy so if ya want to pass then take Dr. J. she is very easy and the class is like high school. you dont ever have homework except when you have to study for quizzes and that is once a week. like i said she is really easy and she will say dumb lil jokes and all u have to do is laugh and she will like you. also take her for lab.

She teaches chemistry well. She has an awesome NJ accent that makes her intersting to listen to, and she always has a story or anecdote about everything. Anyone can do well in her class if they do their work. She's also very accesible for after-class help. And she's friendly =)

I love Dr. Jackson, she's hilarious, her accent is really funny and she makes fun of Southerners but she has us pegged. She is a little hard to follow just because she's all over the place and trails off on stories but the work isn't very hard it's like high school Chem

She isn't hard at all! Look over the quizzes on the internet and the notes before quizzes and you will do fine. She trails off subject a lot and sometimes hard to follow, but overall i liked her.

DO NOT BUY THE BOOK, I haven't opened it once except to look at the periodic table...but it's painted on the walls anyways. Study the old quizzes off internet and in the library you'll do fine. Pay attention in lecture, easy easy notes. Very helpful and accessible after class. HILARIOUS

Dr. Jackson is a great professor. She truly cares about her students and it shows in every class. She can get off topic and jump around, therefore making the lecture a bit confusing. But, she's very helpful, interesting, and HILARIOUS. Study for the quizzes. And don't bother with buying the book! It's not too hard to make an A. Just have fun!

She is an awesome professor! You not only learn a lot about Chemistry, you learn life lessons as well. I hated chemistry, but taking this class was very enjoyable and I learned to like it. She is a great person and really cares about her students. It's pretty easy to get a good grade too!

Dr. Jackson is a wonderful teacher who will help any of her students in any way she can. You have to study for her quizzes, which isn't hard to do since she provides copies of previous quizzes which are EXTREMELY similar to the quizzes she gives that year. If you take Chem 1010, TAKE HER!!!

Mrs. Jackson is quite a character. She is a great teacher. She doesn't take roll but sometimes she gives extra credit if you show up. She gives example quizzes on all quizzes and lets u know exactly what is on them. TAKE HER!! SUPER EASY!! DONT BUY THE BOOK it will not be used!! save about $150 because seriously u wont use it

well... great teacher. in 1010 she realizes shes teaching a mild chemistry course. like a private school class. come to class on tuesday, know about 20 formulas, print out notes and old quizzes and your practically guaranteed an a. i have her right now. what else could you ask from a 1010 teacher. props to you dr.j

For nursing majors...Great teacher! She really knows her stuff! She's very eccentric and scatterbrained, but if you show up to class and take notes, the quizzes are really easy. 1 quiz each Monday instead of lab. Only 2 tests. She's very willing to help if you don't understand something. Really enjoyed her class!

If you had a decent high school chem class, you'll be okay. She tries to apply what she is teaching to the med field and nursing...towards the end she covers organic which is a little harder, yet interesting. overall, highly recommend her.

She cares if you know it or not and if you don't she will be glad to go back over it with you. She covers basic material and teaches you what you need to know.

Dr. Jackson is a very caring and wonderful teacher. If you go take class take notes and study the old quizzes on line and in the library it should be an easy A. She really will help in anyway possible. Talk to her and get to know her. She really is an awesome person and teacher!!

Dr. Jackson is a very good professor. She may come off as cooky at first but she does this so you dont get bored. She will often tell she class she would rather you process the information and learn it rather than try to memorize it and throw it away afterward. i really learned a lot in her class! Dr. Jackson is an awesome teacher and I definately recommend nursing students to take this class. She does a great job at tying certain things in with the nursing major. You have an easy quiz on every lab day. It's an overall easy class and she will help you get an A or a B unless you shoot yourself in the foot.

I feared Chemistry before taking her class, but she made it so fun! Even though it was an 8 o'clock class, I enjoyed going because she cracks me up. She's theatrical and explains well. She's awesome.

She definatley knows what she is doing. it's in your best interest to go to class cause at times she jus randomly takes attendence and gives extra credit points. She gives weekly quizzes but they are fairly easy. She really wants her students to excel.

She's amazing! She's knows her stuff and can explain it clearly and show you the easiest way to solve the problem. Great lecturer and cracks jokes too. Will randomly take attendance and give bonus points. Quizzes every week. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!

Dr. Jackson Does not know how to keep out of everyone business. she gets on her health rants and takes up way too much time. when she is actually teaching her handwriting is illegable. Overall Dr jackson is a decent teacher just be prepared to hear boring rants about useless topics.

Dr. Jackson is the best teacher that I have ever had! You should take this class even if you don?t need it. You will learn so much about nutrition and better ways to approach things. Her teaching style is phenomenal and if you get stuck on something she will try several different approaches to help you out because she wants everyone to succeed.

Dr. Jackson is an amazing professor. I took chem 1020. She is so nice and is hilarious! Every professor needs to be like her. She cares about her students, and makes chemistry so fun! I am now about to take her again for physiological chemistry and can't wait!! She is the coolest professor I've had, and I'm a senior.

She was very helpful. She would explain the chemistry concepts in a way that was understandable. You won't need a text book for this course. She has notes online that she will have you print off for the lectures.

This class is easy. She knows that you are only in the class because it is required for your major or its your science sequence. She is very clear and tries to make the material easy to remember. She keeps you awake during class and is very interesting

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Dr. Jackson makes sure you know your stuff. She cares about every student, if 1 student out of 150 doesn't understand a concept (and speaks up about it) she won't move on until they understand. Print off notes before lecture and bring them in and add to them during class. No lab, just a quiz every week during lab time.

Attendance is mandatory if you really want to understand what she wants on quizzes, which are during lab time. No textbook required. She is a hoot.

She is able to make very difficult concepts seem like elementary school science. She is so great and there is a so much you can get out of her class.

She is a little out their, but as long as you study for the 10 question quizzes and study for the midterm you will be fine. the material isn't hard at all, it's just like high school CHEM. Great teacher.

Dr. Jackson is a great teacher overall. She can be a little hard to follow and a little kooky, but she really loves her students and will put the time into assisting you in anyway. I didn't buy the book, no lab, and I got an A. Softballs the tests and quizzes.

Also,she's the only chemistry teacher that won't make you learn boring things that don't apply to your field of choice.Don't bother buying the book, just look over her study guides and you should be fine! Also, show up to class. She takes roll and it's part of your grade, but not mandatory.

I took Jackson for nursing chemistry and she is by far one of the best chemistry professors I've ever had. She makes sure all her students are on the same page and never goes on if someone does understand. She's really funny and keeps the class interesting. She gives quizzes every week during lab, but attendance isn't required for lecture.

I hated chemistry and felt like I was going to dread this class. I have learned so much and I actually enjoy going. She has crazy ways of remembering, but it helps. She also only teaches things you need. She doesn't care about the useless information.

Wellness was a decent class. Just make sure to do the labs or it is automatically half off the next week. I ended up with an A
