Barbara loves her students and always makes time if they need her. She's lots of fun, but she grades harder then some teachers and has quite a workload. I still love her though.

CRAZY!!! she loves to rap, especially eminem! she swears like a sailor and loves to talk about sex...the work is easy, if you show any interest whatsoever, you'll do just fine

Dr. K is one of the best profs the IUP English Dept. has. I've had her for 2 classes - she's spontaneous, fun, helpful, and makes class worth coming to. She's always ready to help and treats every student with respect. And her love for Eminem is a trip =)

Barbara is one of the best professors at IUP. She is very knowledgeable and will quote Tupac or Nelly regularly. Her class requires written assignments that are not bad. You must read the assignments to pass but she gives no in class tests.

She is an awesome teacher. Her exams are somewhat difficult but she will help you as much as you want. Her class time is more like going to a room with a bunch of friends but still learning. Shes awesome, and my favorite teacher Ive ever had in at level.

Great professor and a great person too. She grades you on the quality of your paper, not the length of it. And she actually teaches you how to improve your writing. No topic is taboo for her. You have to work for your grades but you'll have fun doing it.

I loved her- she even wrote letters of recommendation for me after I graduated. She's brilliant and a good person outside of the classroom too. She makes you want to go to class because of her enthusiasm. She's highly recommended.

She's very funny and wacko. As long as you go to class and do all the work, you'll do fine in the class. Its an easy class to attend because its interesting. She does grade the papers hard though but hang in and it will all work out in the end.

Barbara is by far the best English professor I have ever had. She is funny, intelligent and basically is also the reason I switched to become an English major. Highly recommended for anyone willing to work a little.

This lady is really smart...sometimes too smart. She can analyze a text for hours and still have something to say about it after that. I still love her, though. She's so funny and never censors herself or any of the students. A great prof. to take if you want to truly be challenged.

barbara's energy is infectious and she is very passionate about the texts, but if you don't expect to work hard don't take her class! she expects you to be really in depth and thorough, and the work load is very heavy and her tests are really hard and very involved.

Barb is very funny, but her class is tough. She spends most of the class analyzing every little detail of a story or poem. Her personality makes the class fun, but it's a lot of work. Participate as much as possible and you can do well.

Cry me a river people. Heaven forbid you have to put effort into a college course. This was the BEST class! Barbara LOVES her students and she inspires you to work hard and become a better student. She gets to know you and she is so much fun in class! I never missed a class. I didn't want to!

I love Barbara! She is the best professor at IUP.She cares for all her students, and grades you accordingly...I miss her english class...she told me to be an English major after she heard my first story, but later supported my wanting to be a lawyer. I've called her at home and she doesn't mind.

Barbara is a fun teacher, but she rarely follows the syllabus. Her "homework" assignments are confusing because she'll tell you something different everytime instead of going by what she originally planned. All-in-all, if you can get passed that, take her.

This woman is fabulous! Extremely energetic and full of personality. Knows her (stuff). GO TO CLASS and ON TIME! She also loves theatre kids. Not big on Bush :(. You write a lot, but not difficult material. Tests can be difficult-so study poetry over and over. A++ Teacher!

If you want to learn song lyrics she's the one to go to. She was the best prof and qouted lyrics, even rap lyrics all the time. Her class was the best and I suggest taking a class from her.

Barbara is one of a kind. Taking her classes is an experience in itself. She is not easy, but her classes are fun. She cares about her students, and loves her job. Highly recommended.

barbra is the best! i completely love her and would advise everyone to take a class from her. she has fabulous interpretations to everything and gives you new perspectives - you will learn a lot and have a lot of work to do. keep up with reading and assignments - so fun!

She is tough but it is well worth the effort. I learned so much from this lady. Although I didn't get an A, I am still glad I took Barb. She is extremely intelligent and funny as well. I would def. take her again!

Barb is awesome. I've taken two of her classes, both times she pushed you to be a better writer, but she was always willing to help. She really cares about her students and she's easy to talk to. I would recomend her to anyone.

Barbara is a very good teacher. She has you write alot, but it's well worth it. As long as you don't miss more than three classes and are an average student, you should at least come out with a B. She is very outspoken, and doesn't hold anything back. That's what makes her so fun.

A hard class at times, but I don't think I could forget this prof. Definitely still remember the information even after the semester. I'm a better person for having Barbara for class, and I cannot pay a professor any higher respect.

People complain, but only because they're not willing to put forth any effort. If you're lazy, don't waste her time. She's serious about what she does, and she expects her students to be as well.

Barbara, aside from a fixation on the male genitalia and excess cursing, is an amzing professor. She breathed conflagration where i had fire and gale where i had breeze. She is a model of professors. She required too little work however.

I love Barbara as a person mostly becuase she is crazy and funny, however she gets off topic very easily. The work load is alot, 3 big essays, 5 journals from reading the book, and 5 journals from campus events(you have to attend 5 out of class events). She grades tough too!

Barbara is amazing! I had her for 101 and 121 and she is a very interesting person, very passionate about teaching, literature, and writing. She is willing to help her students and gives a lot of extra credit for being in class and presenting journal entries to the class. As long as you get the work done as it's assigned it's very easy!

Take this class only if you have bundles of energy and are very liberal (she's the only professor who actually makes me feel conservative - truly unpleasant experience). Expect to be insulted if you're a white male and a patronizing attitude if you're black (read up on black history, she will direct every question on it to you). Would not recommend

I Love, love, love this class, Dr. Kraszewski is an awesome professor, those who are hating her must know they are failing. She talks about african american culture when our studies require her to so. And just the fact that she has tenure of almost 40 years shows she experienced and knows what she is talking about. So HI HATER!

She's a good professor, but I did feel, like many others apparently, she was patronizing to the black students at times. Really easy class though, just do the readings/journals and you'll breeze to an easy A.

I enjoyed her college writing class. She's a little "out there" but knows what she's talking about and is always willing to help. Attendance is important but beneficial. She comes up with a lot of helpful exercises to enhance writing skills. A lot of work involved but overall it's a good class.

I won't lie, she is pretty crazy and gives a lot of work, but if you do the work..easy A. Every assignment is worth points! Be prepared, participate, and take advantage of extra credit. Kinda tough grader, but very helpful. I would take her again for sure!! I love Barb!

It's a college writing class so you're going to write a lot. She's absolutely insane but helps a lot! Her crazy little exercises actually help a lot more than you think. She also gives extra credit just for reading your stuff. She's seriously nuts, but pretty easy.

Barbara is hands down one of THE best profs IUP has to offer. Know this - she is just. She will only care as much as you care. She was such a great prof I still call her today (9 years later) to check in, and she was invited to my wedding.

Barbara will give you a decent work load. Being a student that never did much work in school, I felt like I was always busy. Before I took her class I hated writing... now I don't mind it at all. I some how ended up with an A. Bottom line, this class changed my life. Take it if you can. You will never have a prof like her anywhere else.
