She has good teaching skills and she knows her material very well. She can be confusing at times because she shows every possible way to do a problem, but it helps other people grasp the material. I would take another class with her. She is very personable and always seems to be in a good mood.

There is no way I would have passed my two math courses if it hadn't been for Mrs Lott. You never feel like your asking a stupid question. IF YOU HATE MATH, AND REALLY WANT A CHANCE AT PASSING AND EVEN AMAZING YOURSELF, HAVE HER FOR ALL YOUR MATH CLASSES. Be quick, her classes fill up quick.

Prof. Lott has completely changed my mind about math. I have always struggled to comprehend math/algebra. Prof Lott made the class easy to understand and move forward. She gives many different examples to help you understand math the way that works best for you! I got a B and I'm moving on to the next math class without fear simply because of her!

Ms.Barbara Lott is one the best teacher i have gotten ever since i got to SCC. The only thing she needs to improve off, is she need to give more steps in her problems don't expect the students to already knows the steps.

Ms. Lott is an outstanding professor. I have had several different math professors at SCC and she is far and away the best. If you can get into her class, take it!

She is honestly a great teacher. She will break things down until it's almost like 2+2. Great teacher. Sooo very helpful and friendly.

Excellent teacher. She was so helpful. I hate algebra but got a B as my final grade. It's a lot of work but she breaks everything down very simple. I didn't like the book but she only used the book to assign homework. She taught the concepts in her own words. If you struggle in algebra then take her. She really cares if you pass.

Professor Lott is an excellent instructor, she makes it very easy to learn and unstand algebra; especially if you are really bad in this subject. I have really enjoyed her class very much.

Don't miss a day of class because she gives pop quizes all the time. Homework assignments aren't due until the day of the test but you have to keep up with the assignments anyway because of the quizes. At the end of the semester, she allows you to either makeup one test you never took or to retake the test you did poorest on.

I am HORRIBLE at math but Prof Lott made it simple for me to understand. She is very clear and breaks procedures down until they are easy to follow. There was a time I thought I was going to fail the class but I ended up with a B. I highly recommend Prof Lott for math classes. It's a hard subject to teach but she does it well :)

Ms. Lott is an GREAT MATH TEACHER! If you are not good at math you need to take her. She will break down every problem for and will go over any homework problem. She is just great.

Prof lott was a very good professor and was always willing to help anyone in need, she gave homework every night of class but never collected it, this was horrible for me, i like to know my grades.

Ms Lott is a great teacher. It is apparent that she has a passion for math. She does move quickly, but she answers any questions you may have. I really enjoyed being in her class and I would recommend her.

I only have good things to say about Ms. Lott. She is really cool, understanding, and nice. Ive always struggled with math but she was very helpful and I did really well in her class. There is a lot of homework and quizzes but its not overwhelming. you will have a lot of opportunities to make a good grade in the class. I highly recommend her.

Professor Lott is AWESOME! I had her for the second half of summer and she is so helpful. If you don't understand something she is willing to explain it over and over. As long as you do your homework and ask questions, the class is easy.

Prof. Lott is AAAAAMMMMMMAAAAZZZZIIIINNNNGGG.you won't find a better math teacher than her. She breaks..it..down! I had her for three semesters and I loved her! Only sucky thing is she only teaches the basic level courses, so after those, you have to find another teacher. Best math teacher EVER! If you don't pick her, you're a FOOL!

This class is extremely easy, its ALL review of what you have learned since like 6th grade. Really easy to get really far ahead, even if you don't like math. She doesn't do much teaching, but ALEKS does most of that for her and is easy to use. Would take from her again in a heartbeat.

She's the best professor at Seminole State College, hands down. She knows her stuff, all you have to do is pay attention in class and you'll pass. If you put in a little work you can get an A+. She's absolutely wonderful and a great teacher.

She is a fabulous professor and I would highly recommend her. The homework and tests are done on ALEKS, which is good and bad. The problem with ALEKS is that the instructions, and tutorials are often not clear in their explanations. Professor Lott's explanations are much more clear. ALEKS should pay her to fix their deficiencies.

She is very easy to talk to, not intimidating in the least. Explains things kind of fast but she will slow it down and really help you if you need it. I suggest taking her ALEKS course, super easy!

She is hands down the best and hottest professor at Seminole State. You have to study for the tests thought, they are super hard. Her lectures are great, but honestly the only reason I went to class was to see her. She's very strict when it comes to homework and ALEKS so pay attention when she does announcements! I ended with a B-.

Professor Lott was a substitute teacher for my night class, and its a shame I earned more with her in a day, than my current professor all summ long!!! I sop wished she taught summer evenings..I would have hbeen just as confident ALOT SOONER!!!! Awesome teacher!!!

Lets just say a "C" student can receive an "A" with her help. If you want to pass the class just do the homework, quizzes and ask for help. Professor Lott's willing to sit with you and help you figure out what you don't understand. She offers extra help after class on certain days. Most of your work is done online which made it easy for me.

PROF. Lott super helpful, knows her stuff and will explain if you have problem understanding something, she even has an hour of tutoring every week! She is the sexiest and hotter looking prof in campus!!!

This is a wonderful teach. She is smart and hard working. She doesn't push much. End of objective quizzes she goes over with the class on the board. Same type of question just different numbers and variables.

Very helpful, responds to emails, keeps everyone on pace. Not that I WANT to take math again, but if I must, I want her for my professor.

Pretty much an online class. As long as you do 10 topics a week and leave your computer open on the website so that you get timed participation, you pass. Super helpful and answers any questions you have at any time, just email her and she'll get back to you within a few hours.

Pretty easy class, If you do the practice tests online and pass those the test are straight from there. If you ask a question, She is there to answer them. And if you are there more times then not you are fine.

Professor Lott is a really good teacher, if you need to ask for help she is willing to tutor you. Furthermore as long as you do your pie and study the practice test you should be fine!! the only thing that was hard was the final exam but I still manged to pass!!

I took this class online as a 6 week option, let me say you either do the work if you want to pass or you dont. There is no way you can skip out on doing the work in ALEKS. She sends emails periodically and lets you know how much time you should be spending on the computer and has classroom times if you need help. She responds quickly to emails

Took over summer and was a lot of work for a short term. She tries her hardest to make sure you pass. She lets you redo the tests at the end of term. Unless you are strong in algebra, you will have to devote a huge amount of time to get an A. The class itself is tough because of the material, but professor Lott is the best. Would take again.

I am horrible when it comes to math but she really helped me. She made sure I did well and that I understood what I was doing. She's willing to help before or after class, gives you study guides and goes over any questions you have, lets you retake a test at the end of the semester. She's a great teacher and wants you to pass. You just have to try.

I'm not a fan of ALEKS, but if you prefer computer learning software for math, this is the class for you. Be sure to do your assignments on time. Tests are 50% of your grade and the final exam is 20% so be sure to practice for those. Prof Lott is a great teacher and will go far to help answer your questions. Just be careful not to fall behind.

Prof Lott is a consumate professional, tough, but kind and assertive at the same time. Never rude or judgmental very down to earth and welcoming during her office hours.

Professor Lott is a superb instructor. If you work hard at the material, she will work just as hard to support you in the learning process. I cannot sing her praises enough. If you have to take this math course and math is a challenge for you, please take it with Professor Lott. You will be grateful you did.

There are four tests and a final. She gives partial credit on all the tests and lets you retake one at the end of the year. I took her for Intermediate Algebra and now College and she is great. I am not strong in math, but she teaches in the way that she teaches what everyone is weak in and what you ask questions on, not from a book.

You'll need an ALEKS code for this class, and if you're not self-motivated and good at working online with math, don't take this class. Attendance is mandatory, but during the whole class, you're basically online working on the objectives (homework). Your tests and objectives determine your grade basically. It's an easy class if you work hard.

I had heart failure and she gave me a lot of chances to make up all the work, even if I was late. She is a very kind and caring Professor! I would take her again! She is great and she gets to the point without wasting your time. Take her, you won't regret it. Lots of extra credit to help boost your grade up and two times to take a test if you fail.
