she is very tough teacher, but a very good and fair one. i recommend this class to anybody who disciplines themselves.

I took her online class and she was great. Very quick to respond to e-mails. Gives reviews that prepare you really well for the test. Would definitely take her again.

I took her with a video class, she graded the papers a little tough but was willing to meet with me to tell me what she was looking for. I never once watched the video, just answered her review questions and aced the class.

I had Ms. Lusk for Lifespan on the internet and it was great. The homework was harder than the tests. She grades pretty hard on the homework though. If you do her reviews and go to the class review you should have no problems making an A. She's not very clear about some of the questions on the review, so beware and ask about what you can't find.

She is funny when she is talking about the notes. She makes you feel comfortable in the class. So that when you do group projects you know the people in them.

I took this class online but must take all the test in the testing ctr at the SCC or CPC. This class is not as easy as some people has stated, have to read between 4-7 chapters. And the test consist of 70-90 questions each. The labs are time consuming, but you will learn a lot about in this class. Must go to Pro. Lusk reviews.

Awesome teacher! Grades cumu. not average, so final might not be necessary- do extra credit! You will have to read, but everything is relevant to human life so it's not hard to make it interesting. Prof. Lusk has the best attitude about life ever, and is very approachable. As a quiet student, I felt comfortable speaking in class. TAKE HER.

Great teacher. Willing to help other students. A little flat about her tests and doesn't give just a great review. Provides information to help you study better but does not help provide you with corrections to prepare you for your next test when asked. All around okay performance from her!! :0)

She is a great professor! I looked forward to her class every day. She explained things so that you understood and if you come to class and participate she'll make sure you pass. I recommend taking her in the summer though because she cuts down the curriculum a lot. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn and get a good grade.

Wonder teacher! Going to her class is like hanging out with your best girlfriend who's smarter than you are. She cares about her students, and your sucess. Amazing person. If you study and follow along you will do great. I would recommend her to anyone, and she's easy on the eyes!!

I enjoyed this class. She just talks about things related to psychology but they are interesting. There are only 2 papers to write. The only bad part was the tests. You need to thouroughly study each chapter and the reviews to pass. I failed every test but made a B on the Final, and a B as my final grade. Overall I would take it again.

this teacher is rally nice. I took the summer class with her. you just have to study the review she gave and you will get an A. Her exams are really easy. I got an A in this class

LOVED her class! Attendance isn't mandatory, but definitely helpful. If you don't come you could miss a small lab or quiz, but they add up if you are consistently missing them. She's very down to earth and helpful. Gives you the opportunity as a class to plead your case on missed test questions for a curve. I'll be taking her for Lifespan also!! :)

Extremely easy going. Tests and quizzes are a joke...only 20 minutes of studying right before..Goes off on tangents sometimes but at least they're interesting. Sort of rushed towards the end of the semester with back to back tests and quizzes and labs.

She is nice, a little crazy at times always making jokes then laughing at herself, it can be awkward at times. You must read chapters if you do you should pass. Do the reviews and check her callander online and listen to her carfully at the end of class to know what is due the next class. Tardy is okay if you miss a class u miss a lot.

One of the best I have had. She talks to you as a class and does it in a way where that you don't just learn dates and names but the actual stories of who they were what they knew and thought. Love her class

Best prof. EVER!! She gives an example of everything she teaches so it's easy to understand. Labs and quizes require a little work but not overwhelming. Makes you feel comfortable in the class. Show up to class and participate in the discussions and you shouldn't have any problem with the class.

Being away from college for quite some time, I had my apprehensions about this course. But the instructor gives you the necessary tools to succeed. Two main requirements: attendance and reading. Do these two things and everything else is a breeze. Also, she gives the opportunity to make high marks in her class. Take advantage and take Barbara Lusk.

let me tell you about barbara lusk. i just took her class for summer 1. WOW. she covers all the material for quizzes in advance. her lectures are very fun and entertaining. for her tests you need to outline the chapter, but if you do youre guaranteed to pass. enjoyed coming to class everyday, what a great teacher.

Prior to taking this class, I hadn't been in a classroom in over 20 years. I'm not going to say it's an easy class, but if you are attentive in class and read the required chapters you shouldn't have any problem. Her lectures were interesting and she gives you a good review prior to each test from which to study from. Enjoyed class very much!

I took her General Psychology class and learned a lot. I absolutely LOVED this class and the professor! All you need to do is read the book and take notes and you will pass the class. She uses many different ways to help you understand the material. She also gives you A HUGE amount of extra credit work that is really easy to do.

Professor Lusk was really good. She likes what she teaches and she makes you think outside the box. She is pretty set on what she believes to be "true" so if you like to throw out your own ideas, pick a different class. She uses the book a lot, so do your reading!

Fairly good teacher. very interactive and wants you to really know the material. study the notes from class and powerpoints and you will do just fine. i would recommend her if you're a good note-taker.

She does a great job at teaching. Reading the book is the equivelent to passing the class! She never suprises you with information or quesat you wouldnt know. Just read the assigned pages and do the reviews and theres NO way you will fail this class. Her personality is so delightful!

I have never met a teacher that works so hard to make sure you understand the material. Doesn't quiz/test material she hasn't covered in class. Funny, too! Great teacher. She even pulls student examples into lecture. Tests are hard, so you must study, but she provides a reviews. A few easy labs, too, and several extra credit opportunities.

She literally tells u everything u need to know for the exam. Grades really easy! Has her own website, print out PPTs it helps! Textbook really helps! I took her for Summer I and made an A! Her class is so easy, I wish I took her for maymester! TAKE HER!!!

Excellent psychology professor. Her lectures and slides followed the textbook chapters to a T and her method of teaching and lecturing was enjoyable. She was fun to have class with. She also has a very useful and thorough study sheet for each exam so preparation for tests was a breeze. Great class!

She is ranked hot because she wears tight shirts, but she is genuinely a sweet older lady with awesome hair. She is lecture based and teaches off a power point - didn't use the book the entire year and got an A. Helpful, but doesn't use Blackboard. Prof. Lusk is a great teacher. Her tests are very hard, her quizzes aren't too bad if you read.. and you WILL need to read to excel in her class. this is totally not a blow off class. VERY easy class. Lusk incorporates student experiences into lessons, and breaks everything down as simply as possible. She's very nice and provides bonus point opportunities. Took her for maymester. Great professor! You can tell she has been teaching for a long time. Really helpful and lectures are interesting. Take notes and listen. A lot of textbook use, but it is interesting material to me. She gives random quizzes, but it helps you prepare for the tests. I recommend her!

I wish I could take her classes forever! She's a great teacher, so friendly, and so fun. Take her small classes for more fun! She likes to hear from her students and makes her class about sharing knowledge. There is some homework, and she gives quizzes and tests you have to read for, just because she can't cover everything fully in one semester.

Prof. Lusk is really genuine and super passionate about Psychology. As I had taken a psych class in high school, everything came pretty easy to me, but she was still a great. She offers extra credit on many assignments, and will remind you throughout the semester what it takes to get an A

Love the way she teaches, explains the content with everyday life. She makes the lectures interesting. She adds extra credit on exams and there's not a lot of work to do. There was a total of 4 h.w , 4 quizzes and 4 tests throughout the whole semester so its an easy A if you do them all. I recommend you take her!

Prof. Lusk is an excellent teacher, she is concern of everybody learning, helps a lot if you ask for it. 4 online quizes, 3 multiple choice test, 4 easy assigments. Not to much homework, only reading the book. If you attend class and read carefully the text book is easy to get an A.

Very sweet and well educated lady. Thought she was a bit looney at first but she grows on you. Laughs at her own jokes like no-one i've ever met. Still a good teacher and makes class interesting. She does wear way too tight clothing that her nipples often poke through so that can get distracting. Would take again though. Ace-able exams if you study

I took Professor Lusk on my second semester at Collin. I loved her class right away because her lectures were very interesting and thought provoking. She is incredibly smart and her tests are not difficult as long as you spend some time reading the material. She also expects you to participate in class discussions. Overall, she's great!

She has a tendency to rant or try to make the class a group therapy session, however if you go to her website and work on the test reviews in class you'll do fine on the test. She gives you an oral review right before the quiz/test with exactly what's on the quiz/test so that helps too. Overall easy A. Do the work, show up to class, you'll be fine

Professor Lusk is AWESOME. I enjoyed her class very much. She takes the time to make sure each student understands the material before tests and quizzes. It is helpful to at least skim the book before class or at least before tests. She made the point system very fair and clear.

Professor Lusk is by far one of my favorite teachers at Collin. She is an interesting character, but makes class fun and very interesting. There are 4 quizzes, a couple homework assignments, 2 tests, and a cumulative final. Gives reviews for tests and final, so if you do those tests are easy. Not an easy class, but easy if you show up and care!

By far, she is the most warm and welcoming professor I've had in college. She provides great feedback and excellent story telling when it comes to lectures. I couldn't imagine taking psychology classes with anyone else.

I love Professor Lusk! While her classes tend to be pretty lecture heavy, I generally don't get bored listening to her. Her lectures are honestly quite thought provoking and interesting. She tells stories that make her lessons pretty applicable. Don't skip her class, I relied a lot on what I learned in class for tests. Also she grades pretty easy.

Awesome professor! If you go to class and listen you will understand material. I barely studied just the night before the test and ended with over a 100 due to extra credit. Super interesting lectures too, highly recommend.

Hella awesome. Brings lecture to a more practical context. Laptops are allowed. If you read, youll be more than fine. She is warm and understanding. She definitely knows what she is talking about and is passionate about it too. If you read and understand the basic gist, easy A. If you dont, ask her and shell take time to explain it till you get it.

Her lectures are always entertaining. Attendance is a grade, about 4-5 quizzes that she prepares you for ahead of time, 2 tests, 4 hw assignments, and a comprehensive final. Lots of extra credit. Easy class to pass, but prepare to read if you want an A.

Awesome professor, very funny and understanding. Attendance is *not* a grade but she will give you extra credit if your attendance is high - and you're not likely to pass if you skip. Everything she talks about is on the quiz with the addition of one or two things you'll have to read on for the exams. Homework is relatively easy. Easy class.

So attendance is not necessary all the powerpoints are online but she does take into consideration your attendance and participation. If you were smart you would come to class she has a very clear way of explaining what the powerpoints are about. Each of her exams and quizzes have opportunity to gain extra points. She makes psych interesting!!!!!!
