GREAT teacher....i learned more in five weeks with her then two years in high school. WARNING: she is a little nuts so deal with it b/c it is what makes her class fun

Barb is so so awesome and will make even a math idiot able to understand and like math. I got great grades with her and have always gotten terrible grades in math before. She is insane but so much fun. Math is boring but her class is awesome.

Ms. Rademacher is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. Though she's a bit "loopy" in her behavior she is excellent in helping her students. She's friendly and always makes time for you. She went over a test with me problem by problem to make sure I would make the right corrections.

Take her. Quizzes are on line and its easy to ace them all. Study your ass off for the midterms and final and you will get an A. Also friendly and helpful.

Let's face it. CA is tough! Barb is a great teacher though, and if you do the work...you will have to... you will do well in her class. I highly reccomend her!!

I hate math. I suck at math. And I didn't really like her. I think she's kind of rude and if you don't understand then you're kind of a "lesser being" to her. Or perhaps I'm paranoid?

Barb is definitely the best teacher I have ever had. If you strugle with math or just don't like it, she is the teacher for you. I she makes the class interesting, and makes sure everyone understands before moving on. She always has time for you. She really makes you feel like she is the for you!!

Very good instructor. Uses humor with her teaching. she also provided coffee in her 7:30 am class...needed for the wake up.

This teacher was very helpful but she has the class do projects at the end of the sememster which can interfer with other projects in other classes. But I loved her anyway!!

She will go the extra mile. Always helps you in a sincere fashion. No question is a stupid question in her class. Have any math troubles? Take her class.

I took her for College Algebra my first semester of college, she was AMAZING! She makes math class fun and doesn't treat you like you are stupid when you don't understand something!! She will also tell the funniest stories to make class more interesting!! Take her if possible!!!!

Great Professor. Very understanding of any question or concern. Explains everything in the basic of terms. She will have your best interest and hand.AAS MATH with The EAST Project was very rewarding on many levels. Upon successful completion you will know you have the math skills you may have doubted in life. She is the BEST!

Great teacher! The only complaint that I have about her is that she is very hyper. She would be a great teacher in Middle school or Junior high kids would love her wisdom and extreme personalities. She is a busy bee!!!

She's crazy and fun, but I found the class insanely easy. She told me at the beginning of the course that I could move ahead of the class and then later got extremely snippy at me and even told me that she "didn't care what class I was in or who I was" in an e-mail she sent me. Seems sweet, but don't get on her bad side.

If you are willing to work to the end, you'll do fine. She's Awesome about helping you if you need it. Go to the math tutor room she tutors in to get help. I did this & really worked & got a B. She funny, and willing to help you but you'll have to ask. Math is not easy but if you're determined to get to the end you'll do OK, Go to class too!

Funny teacher and keeps you interested. Felt self taught in class - she gives examples on the board then we do homework at home & ask questions in next class. I'd recommend not missing class. She has no patience for those who miss and are failing. The computer assisted class is the best - take it!

Math is my abouslte weakest subject and If it wasnt for this teacher at NWACC then I probably would being going to college.

One of my favorite teachers at NWACC. I have NEVER enjoyed a math class before until I had her this summer. It was actually fun and I enjoyed going to class. I LOVE her teaching style!!!What an asset to NWACC!

I took Barbara for Beginning/Intermediate during the Summer. She is an OUTSTANDING teacher, her class structure WORKS. She uses the Mastery system, meaning you can take the test until you pass and move on. I was able to learn the material and got an A and a B in her courses. I would HIGHLY suggest Barbara if you have trouble with Algebra.

Be prepared because she is a little coo-coo sometimes, but never in an offensive or disruptive-to-learning way. She is fun and will help you out with anything. Great teacher.

She is so nice and will help you with anything you need in class. Mine was computer assisted though and sometimes I found that the things she lectured about wasn't on the homework. Her regular classes might be easier and less time consuming.

A+ teacher. So much fun and really wants her students to succeed. She was great with communicating what she expected and always followed through with emails. Works with you outside of class if needed and responds to emails quickly! I loved her even if she is a bit cooky:)I generally don't like math but she made it interesting and I passed with A+

This teacher is amazing. She engages the class by having them work problems on the board. She is always willing to help you outside of class time if you need it. She has a great sense of humor. Also, if you ask questions she will work to try to help you understand it. Highly recommend this teacher!!

Barbara is amazing. She is hilarious and makes math fun for the hole class. I have to say she helped me a lot through class and made sure to help whenever she could. She is one of my biggest inspiration just because of her personality and the mind that she has. She is of the best instructors at NWACC, hands down!

I'm not a fan of math but she explains everything really well. I got an A and am taking her for the rest of my math. Lets you retake tests and quizzes and loves to use the calculator. She will help you do any problem and puts lots of videos on My Math Lab to help you. She wants you to do well. She tries extra hard to nice too. It's refreshing :)

Great teacher, gives lots of learning tools. The College Algebra course that I took with her was Hybrid. She went over all the chapters in class but it was not mandatory to go to class unless it was a quiz or test day. She gave reviews for all quizzes and tests on mymathlab. The class is not easy but she made it easier to understand.

Love, Love, Love Professor Rademacher! If you think you can't do College Algebra, Barbara Rademacher is the Professor for you. She inspires you with her positive and crazy style of teaching. She puts it in layman terms. She is So Cool. She used Star Wars as a reference to teach algebra.

Mrs. R is an awesome college algebra teacher. I had been out of the math loop for seven years to jump into college algebra but she taught to where i learned it and excelled at it. I recommend her for anyone who is questioning passing college algebra. Great at teaching

She is an awesome Math teacher! if you honestly just pay attention and do the homework you never fall behind. However she does change dates a lot but lets you know in advanced. Take good notes in class. If you have questions ask or shell just continue on to the next problem.

Barbara is amazing! Would definitely suggest if you're not very good at math! She's very caring and loves teaching math and you can tell. She takes the time to teach you how to do everything from beginning to end and is willing to work with you on tests. Gives great practice study exams for all her exams that make you very prepared to succeed.

I had to re-take intermediate algebra and I was desperate but someone told me about this combine intermediate and college algebra class and since day one she is so excited all the time and she gives a lot of extra credit, so smart and a very professional teacher! And when someone loves what they do you make people love it toooo! I dont understand why her rate is sooo low! She should have a 5!

Best math teacher I have ever had. She is so kind and funny. She really cares about her students. Great at teaching the material. I'm horrible at math, and she managed to explain it in a way that I understood the material well. If you pass her final with a C or higher she will pass you regardless of your grade. You can take all of her tests twice.

She is hands down the best math teacher I've ever had. She LOVES math and explains things to where you can understand them. You can retake the midterm AND she has videos for each problem in MML.

IF YOU ARE TAKING A MATH CLASS AT NWACC, TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Especially if math is difficult for you. Easily the best professor at NWACC with a genuine care for her students. She's available, provides plenty of opportunities, and is so funny. If you fail her class, it's on you.

Best math teacher hands down. I wish she could teach all my classes. She makes the workload doable which says a lot for a math class. The summer class was short but she made sure we understood what we needed to learn. I loved her!

I have never been good at math, so I ended up reaching out to Professor Rademacher a lot. She is always responsive, and always there to meet you halfway if you are putting in adequate effort. She takes attendance, gives lots of homework quizzes, and allows test retakes. Very approachable and fun to listen to. I wish she taught all my math courses.

Ive always struggled in math, but she teaches it to the point where you can understand it, she does give a lot of homework, but lets you do it as many times as you want. her test and quizzes aren't to hard. definitely recommend if you struggle in math!

Professor Rademacher is a brilliant Math teacher. Her lectures are very informative and help break down the difficult Math problems explains the "why" so it makes sense. Her personality shines through the lectures. The song for the quadratic formula is still in my head, lol. She is also very caring, can tell she cares about students succeeding.

What an absolute gem. I was really intimidated going into Algebra and she made everything super accessible! She's hilarious and memorable. NWACC is so lucky to have someone like her teaching there!

Just a great woman. Cares about you and your grade. Shell also help you if you need help on the material! Access code is needed, thats why I said textbook.

She is an amazing teacher. I am usually horrible at math and she made it easy for me to understand. The practice exams are exactly like the exams so if you practice the practice exams you will pass the tests.

Prof. Barb is easily my favorite teacher at NWACC. I have struggled with math and have never reached above an 80%. This semester with Prof. Bard, I got an A because she explained the curriculum well. Her style of teaching will keep you interested. I love math now because of her!

The course material is online. The lectures are great for the material, but attendance is not mandatory if you do the work she counts you there. She is funny, nice, and caring. She truly cares about her students and I would take her again.

Professor Barb was a fantastic professor. She is so caring, and really wants her students to succeed. Attendance is not mandatory as long as you complete the homework each week, but the coursework is much easier to understand when you attend class. Her respond time is pretty long for emails, but she is a very great professor.

Attendance isn't mandatory as long as you're doing the work to prove you are "attending." Highly recommend going to her class though bc her explanations are easy to follow; she keeps you engage. Practices/hws are similar to the exam. You need a code (provided by Prof. Barb) for the online textbook, however. You don't need to buy the physical one.

Very sweet lady. She is a little unhinged but it's funny. She explains things very well and gives you practice exams which are the same questions as the real ones. There are like 4 exams, 10 questions each (ish). Super easy class if you pay attention and do the homework.

The easiest tests I have ever had in my life; I got 100% on all of my exams. I really do not understand how can anybody do bad in this class; her exams are exactly like practice exams; 12 questions, 10 points each. Her lectures can be a bit confusing though, but nothing that cannot be understood.

Barb is a great teacher. You have three exams in the course, and one final, the final was cumulative. Each exam is worth 120 points. I struggled with math, but she taught it in a way I understood it. She has her own videos in My Math Lab, and they helped a lot, when I was doing the homework. It is worth it to go to her lectures too.

Barbara does an amazing job explaining the material and giving solutions to any questions you may have. Her videos that she provides are extremely helpful to refer back to when doing homework. To put it simply, I am awful at math. By awful, I mean I have taken this class multiple times. I passed with a 98 or 99% taking her summer course.
