Great story teller-- as fun as Psych gets!

Her tests are somewhat hard compared to others. Really what is needed is to combine logic to the material. Her tests only come out of the book to a small degree. You need to remember class discussions and understand, not just know, the material.

Intimidating at first but interesting. Kinda funny how she doesn't hold any comments back about her students. Very bias to her beliefs. Tells her life story but not boring. Tests are mainly book material. If you just listen in class, you'll be ok.

The class is very interesting, and I really liked going to it. However she doesn't teach exactly what's on the test, she just builds upon the theories, so you HAVE to read the book because the tests are hard.

Really wants her students to have better lives. Hard tests, makes students work but you know what you are doing when you complete the class.

sometimes a little scary but a great teacher. she really knows what she is talking about. her class is a little difficult and sometimes she gets off subject like talking about the circus, but she was a very organized and outstanding teachr. ps. Dr Radigan is an excellent teacher. The exams are not easy, but the lectures are very worthwhile. If you have to take psych 101, and you are willing to work at it, you can take away a lot of valuable information and experience from her class.

Dr. R is the coolest teacher. She is very fair and class discussions are thought-provoking and captivating, and the stories are incredibly interesting. If you get the chance you should definitely take her class.

GREAT teacher. a little scary on the first day or two, but don't be intimidated. She knows her stuff, and is usually fairly forgiving, lets you out early, test are multiple choice, but still difficult. she gets her students involved, never respond with 'i dont know' and be quick to connect two different lectures, shes quick to award extra credit

very assertive woman. Comes off a little harsh, but you'll love her by the end of the semester. This class is no joke though, the woman knows her stuff!

A good teacher if you can take (sometimes undeserved)criticism; if you can't, don't take this class. She seems to have a pretty low opinion of Community College students. Tests are hard and lectures meander, so take her advice and find a study buddy.

As a student age 28 I did not feel it was much use being talked to like a child. She basically takes this postion like she is everything and you are nothing Listen up people I am a Comp Eng student in my last year at Pitt, holding a 3.8, if your life is not "falling apart" DON'T TAKE HER! Dr. Ragigan is a graet teacher, her teaching syle is very clear,and she makes coming to class a pleasure.

At first I thought she was a horrible professor and very mean. After a few classes she turned out to be one of the best professor/teachers I have ever had. She is funny and keeps you interested in the material. SHE IS A MUST TAKE.

She's a good teacher that knows her stuff, but expect to study (use the online resources she gives; they help a lot, especially the flashcards and the like for studying). She does drift into real life stories sometimes, but seems to always tie it into the material. For me this helped give examples, as well as keep the class from getting too dull.

A bit scary for the first two classes, but she kept me comming to school every class. Wonderful woman. A MUST TAKE!

She was one of the best teachers I've had!

After the first day of class I was regretting having signed up for it. But by the end of the semester it ended up being one of my most enjoyable and memorable classes. Class time was usually spent listening to various anecdotes relating to the course. Not so useful for exams, but kept the class interesting. A lot of studying involved.

I really appreciated Dr Radigan. I know some other students did not but I did. She made her class interesting. However; she is not an easy professor, she makes you work for your grade. Also, don't be LATE for her class. She will not tolerate it.

Entertaining anecdotes, but has little do with tested material. Very difficult class for an intro level course. My GPA is 3.95 instead of 4.0 because of this class, be careful.

She's a really good teacher but most definitely not an easy "A". As of right now, I'm failing her course. You really need to dedicate your time to studying but,if you have a full time job or other high priorities, it's really hard to keep up. She definitely has my respect though. Take her if you can!!

Radigan doesn't take lip from students who want to give her trouble when she institutes her non-traditional policies (assigned seating, no tardiness, etc.) but if you get past her strictness she is a fantastic professor that teaches a class that is extremely interesting and engaging. Highly recommended for psychology.

Wonderful educator. Don't take this class unless you want to LEARN SOMETHING. No she's not easy, no she doesn't take BS, but it will encourage you and you will make good grades if you do the work. One of the best teachers I've had.

By far, the best professor that I've ever had. She leaves a little responsibility on the students to study for themselves, but provides stories related to the material that make it easier to retain. She gives excellant advice, I am a better student after having taken her class. I would definitely recommend taking the physical class, not the online.

Best teacher I've ever had. I see the reviews for distance are bad. She emphasizes EVERYTHING with her voice so it's a good idea to take her live class instead.

VERY HARD teacher however I enjoyed the class and listening to her crazy stories. She is pretty tough and kinda mean but im pretty quiet so it was easy to stay on her good side. I did what was expected of me and managed to squeeze out a C and i had fun when i wasn't scared of the woman. She does talk alot ab her circus days but its interesting

dr. radigan is a fantastic teacher. intro to psych cant be learned in a book although is required (i.e.) college. i totally failed my first test, i wasnt paying attention.LISTEN to what she is saying, she's a brilliant woman.

Dr. Radigan attempted to scare the slackers away, and was succesful. As long as you are willing to do the required work, you will get an A. Tests were all directly from reading and she allowed different things to help our test scores improve, i.e. cheat sheet for one test and open book for another. I would take her class over.

She is so strict but its worth it! i needed psyc as a prerec for other classes and having her helped me a ton a learned alot and as long as you read its not hard to pass. all of the quizes i took were online and open note/book which helped as a study tool for the tests. read your book and take good notes and you will learn alot! great professor!

Love Her / Hate Her. Good teacher overall. You'll learn 1/4 of what you need in class, the rest you'll need to read the textbook. Enjoyed how she can break things down. Hated the stories and stories about her time with the circus, but obviously had a major impact on her.

She can be really tough and can come off as rude. But honestly, I loved her. She had interesting stories and I felt like I learned more than what I expected to learn. She is helpful, but only to people who ask. She treated us like we were adults responsible for whether or not we'd ask for help and do our work. Used Blackboard a lot.

Dr. Radigan is the best professor I've been taught by. I learned more in the class than just psychology 101. She's tough, but in the end you'll thank her. She knows her stuff. A lot of the learning comes through the stories she tells, and she has a lot of them. People say she has attitude, I say she has spunk and great character. Highly recommend.

Take her class! Dr. Radigan is an amazing educator and is very passionate about what she does. she may come off a bit abbrasive but hang in she warms up.Show up, take notes( do it), STUDY, ask questions, participate, and STUDY. You are required to work in an online environment provided by a company called Pearson that is connected to your book's information - apparently activity time was monitored, but I'll never know for sure. The tests were easy if you did the practice work. Some of the questions were poorly worded on the tests - let her know. I learned and liked it.

If you are taking a Psych class just for an elective credit, pick a different teacher. However, if you want to be treated like an adult and inspired to better yourself, you would be doing yourself a disservice by missing out. This is NOT an easy A. You will walk away from class with a sense of accomplishment you don't feel from your other courses .

She tries to scare you off for the first few days and then she becomes really nice and funny. Requires effort so don't expect to skip through it. She's really good at what she does and isn't afraid to tell you that.

Dr. Radigan was one of the better teachers I have had she is funny and easy to get along with and is not afraid to speak her mind. If you do your work and a bit of studying you should have no problem.

I think she's a fantastic lady & GREAT teacher. People dislike her because she expects students to be adults, which is under appreciated. I don't have enough room left to express how terrific I think she is. If you are interested in psych, plan to do the work, & can handle being treated like an adult she's the best. Can't say enough good things!

I would take this class again! Dr. Radigan's syllabus is very clean-cut, right to the point. She gives you a weekly update on the overall progress and what she expects out of her students(every week)! She also has additional make-up tests that you can take on your own to raise your grade, or to complete if you missed a test.

You MUST be logged in and working for at least 2-3hours 3 days a week. There is enough work on there to keep you busy during that time. The book is a must.

Difficult and structured but does not play games. If you work hard you will benefit

She is going to come off as the terminator in the first few classes to weed out the kids she considers "here to just piss around", in a few weeks in she warms up to be one of the best professors you'll ever had. She is a slave driver, but MAN will you remember EVERYTHING in this class. Just listen to what she says, and prepare for sarcasm!

I took Dr. Radigan several years ago. I would definitely take her class again! We are taking college courses and she expects it to be reflected that way.

I didn't like her the first day because she was so curt, but I learned quickly that is part of her charm. I really like her lectures, she tells a lot of stories that relate to the material and she is really funny. I felt like I learned a lot, though I can understand some would be put off by her intense personality. She cares about her students.

Very straight forward and to the point! I learned a lot from the class, sticks to the guidelines which is why I respect her! Great instructor, I would recommend this class to anyone!

Dr. Radigan is by far my favorite professor I've had at CCAC, I left the class thinking of everything we talked about and applying everything we learned to real life. Her class quickly became my favorite & her humor and stories make the time go by fast. If you need to take a psych take hers, you won't regret it.

Dr. Radigan is a great professor! She's hilarious and tells entertaining stories from her life pertaining to the material we are learning. As long as you aren't afraid of reading the textbook, you should pass with no problem. I throughly enjoyed the class, and would definitely take a class with her again.

This woman is a national treasure. She is a lion tamer, but you leave that class feeling like you could conquer the world. My favorite professor. Professor Radigan means business so if you're just taking the class to round out electives, she might be too intense. However, she's the most passionate professor I've ever had, and truly cares. THE BEST.

If you want an easy A don't take her class. But if you want a fun class you that really teaches you about psy, take this class. This women is hilarious and real. She has great stories and is a really great teacher.

At first I was like what in the fake Joan Rivers is going on here. Then she became my favorite professor. She was the highlight of my semester. Her stories are funny and her class goes by so quickly.

First class can be tough but be patient. She will be one of the most amazing teacher you have ever had in just weeks. She is smart and funny. Do your hw and participate to classes you will pass. If you show her your attention and caring she will give you extra credits.

Great class. Only difficult if you simply didnt do the work. One chapter a week. Crystal clear guidelines! You could set your calendar at the beginning of the year on what needs done. GREAT online class!

She's loud and in your face. She makes you think and wants your opinion. Love how she is to the point. Dr. Radigan treats you like an adult and expects you to conduct yourself the same way. She's a pistol and I love it. She's all about progress.

Dr Radigan is very loud, and in your face, but shes very real and makes you think. Her lectures arent just plain material, she puts it into real life. Dont be shy, shell probably make you open up a bit. She gives red quizzes for each week so set reminders to do them. Also be ready to be an adult in her class. Would reccomend.

I have so many mixed feelings about Dr. Radigan. She was frightening on syllabus day. But as time went on, I really warmed up to her. Sometimes I wondered why on earth we were in class. She lectures, but all of the quizzes and tests were derived from the book/online quizzes. You will NEVER open your book in class. I did somehow enjoy it!

While her class is tough, she cares about all of her students success. She is the most interesting woman Ive ever met. If you have strong motivation, you should definitely take her class.

Doctor Radigan is an outstanding professor. She uses her class time to engage students and explains the concepts in an applied and useful way. She has had an interesting life and the experiences she shares give valuable insights. The way she teaches inspired me to do my best and conquer her class. However If you are easily offended, avoid her.

Dr. Radigan wasn't a bad teacher at all. You had 5 assignments per chapter, it's time consuming but literally all the info came from the textbook and you have a week to do them. Read the book then do the assignments and you will be fine. 3 tests and they all come from the homework and book. Her comments could be rude but just ignore them.

I loved this professor. As a minority student, I felt that struggles unique to my experience were easily understood and empathized with by Professor Radigan. I felt seen and heard in ways that I may have never known. I would recommend her to those passionate, not just looking for easy credits. Ask about her experiences, she is an inspiration!
