This class is unbelievably hard...toohard. She is not only the worst teacher I have ever had at this University, but also unhelpful. She never sees her role in any difficulty the students are having. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!!

Do not take this professor. She is the worst ever. She is very unapproachable, confusing, unfair and down right mean! Homework is impossibe because she does not teach the material.

homework is so hard and unfair. senior year physics majors even have a hard time with what she asks. doesnt use the book. this class does not allow you to succeed and penalizes you for trying. horrible teacher!!!!!!!!!

Very unhelpful. We what she says on the homework and still get SO MANY points taken off. Unfair class...even those who do well admit that she is horrible and just remember physics from highschool.

This is the worst class I have ever taken at the university. My roommate's boyfriend is a senior physics mjor and spends half an hour trying to interpret her problems. This class is an embarassment tot he university. She is unfair and unhelpful.

I am currently complaining to the Dean and Chair of the department. This is honestly the poorest excuse for a teacher that I have ever seen. I usually give the benefit of the doubt, but she is extremely stubborn and ignorant. At ALL costs, pleae avoid!!

It is one thing to have a professor who makes you think, however, this professor offers students no opportunity to think because she can't even teach the class the basics of physics with out confusing herself and others. In addition, she is very unfair.

She is a horrible professor and is always confusing herself and her students during lecture. Homework is designed to lower your grade, and exams don't help either. The only way to do well, is to have a cool TA who gives you an A in Lab. She really sucks

I don't recommend taking physics with her unless you've had it already in high school. She's unclear in her explanations and takes too long explaining certain problems, which just wastes class time. She seems nice though, but just isn't a great teacher.

Although her class will be VERY easy if u have a physics backgroun, Dr. Williams is the most DIFFICULT person to work with. She always says she is open to ideas, but doesn't use ANY...also she honestly taught NOTHING to the class...NOT helpfull at ALL

She is a terrible teacher. I did rahter well in the class simply because I took physics in high school. I felt like I lost knowledge by going to lecture. If you have any calculus background consider taking 207 instead.

HW must be turned in through WebCT which is a pain. You never see your homework...you just get a word document back saying you had an algebra error on question X. Her tests aren't easy but definitely not the end of the world. Not a very good teacher at all. Avoid if possible, but unlikely.

Is she fired yet? Easily the worst or second worst prof I had. Gives no answer as to why you lost credit. Grading is inconsistant and unfair at best. One week I turned in my HW only answered half the questions and still got a 77?!? And don't get me started on WebCT. Unneccesary and difficult.

The worst professor I have ever had. She cannot teach the material. She gets mad at students for asking questions. Also very unapproachable for help with anything.

I tutored a girl for this class and I can tell you that this prof has no idea what she is doing. She doesn't know how to apply the kinematic equations. On one of her quizes she took an average velocity multiplied it by two, which made a horse run 33 m/sec(71 mph).

DO NOT take this teacher. She really needs to go. There is nothing more to be said.

This class was the worst class i have ever taken. She had no idea how to teach. The exams and quizzes were unbelievable. She should not be teaching. The averages for the two exams were 40 and 44.. that should be enough said

If u have the unfortunate luck of getting this abomination of a professor RUN FOR THE HILLS as fast as u can because this babbling beast makes no sense. Thoughts of suicide ran through my mind while in this class. Her tests have absolutely nothing to do with the info she attempts to teach u through her horrific display of stuttering and nonsense.

DONT TAKE HERE! she never answeres your questions and if you ask her again she gets annoyed and ignores you. if you have no choice but to take her, get ready to teach yourself the course..

I beleive Ms. Williams came from the moon. Seriously.. The highest grade I got in her class was a 78 on the first quiz and it went down from there. I got a 32 on the final. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE HER. You think Austronomy is about stars? Your in for a treat. You have 1 out of 10 chance of getting an answer right on every quiz and test.

WORST-TEACHER-EVER. I really know my**** in physics, and I got a B+. Most people will fail because you can't learn from this lady. Her exams are a rediculously confusing form of multiple choice that are designed to trick you mathematically rather than test your knowledge of physics. The lab sessions are hell too. Avoid this one at all costs.

Horrible teacher with horrible and ridiculously confusing exams. My 400-level BIO classes were easier to understand than this class. DO NOT TAKE HER! I don't know why she still works at UD. I hope the Physic's Department reads the class evaluation forms that the fall semester students wrote. I don't care if she worked for NASA, she's terrible!

Worst professor ever. I took more or less this same class in High school, easily got an A in that. However, this class is a different story. Our class average was around a 55. The only reason it was that high is because labs count for about 10% of your grade. The way she explains things actually made me forget what I learned in High School.

Horrible teacher. very unclear and exams are really hard. I would suggest taking this class during summer or winter session, because it is taught by a TA, and is sooo much easier, trust me.

on the first day of this class i thought that it would be intresting. Now after taking it i will never ever take a science class ever again this lady does for science what star jones for men. please do not take this class if you are depressed because you will surly kill ur self and fail on top of it. .......kinni is the mvp

This professor was terrible! Killed my interest in the subject with stupid quizzes and exams - 10 questions w/ up to 10 options on quizzes and 25 questions w/ as many options on exams. She couldn't explain the material and generally made no sense. I'd discourage anyone from taking a class w/ her no matter how interesting the subject seems.

She is the worst teacher ever!! DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! you think that it is easy at first but her exams will destory you!! 14 out of 16 people failed every single one of her exams!!

AVOID! She talks to the class as if you are 10, lectures are different from the material in the book so the book is no help, assignments are more complex than the lectures, and exams are even more complex than the assignments. The exams were so bad a 60% was curved to a C. She is no help to talk to outside of class either whatsoever.
