Prof wright is a very sweet lady. You only get 3 grades per semester and she will throw an estra credit assignment in there too. We watched at lot of relevant movies too! Take notes on EVERYTHING THATS SHE SAYS!OU HAVE TO STUDY FOR THE TESTS! The tests have essay questions, the more detailed ur writing is, the more pts u get for ur essay!
excellent teacher, she is really interested in what she is teaching.
Her lectures are interesting and she reviews for the test every day. She is very informed and enthusiastic about history. Grading consist of 3 test, 3 exams, homework, and extra credit quiz. Everything is multiple choice but the exams require two essays. Exams can be challenging but this is a fun class if you don't mind studying.
Her online classes are good but tests are tough! Stay 100% focused during the lecture and TAKE LOTS OF NOTES! I'd take her again. Kudos Mrs. Wright!
She is a tough teacher who knows what she's talking about and knows what she wants. I took her class at Calhoun. It was not easy because you have to apply yourself in there with more ways than one. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS
Doesn't like or use the textbook. The tests were completely different than the study guides she gave us, which weren't actual study guides, they were definitions on flash cards that we matched up with another student in the class & took pictures on our phones. There are weekly quizzes & essays on each test. She told us the class average was a 70.
This woman is a nice teacher, she is tough as nails; but if you work at it to her standards, you should do alright I did....I ended with a B.
Miss one test? Might as well drop out. She won't help you out whatsoever and if any technical issues arise (such as not being able to submit a test) she puts the blame on you.
Mrs. Wright is a little intimidating but overall she is a good instructor. She provided two extra credit opportunities which was nice. Her tests follow her powerpoints perfectly. She has chapter quizzes each week that are posted online. Many people have trouble with the exam essay. If you just write an essay with plenty of evidence you will do fine
she knows what she's talking about and she's very smart, talks the whole class, her power points you can print off and use on quizzes, but her study guides are pointless, it's just flash cards that don't match the test, her power points get you 40-70 on quizzes, you got to already know a lot about history other wise ur SOL. difficulties-wont help
I enjoyed taking her class. Her lectures were very interesting and I learned a lot. I hated the weekly quizzes because that meant a lot of reading but they werent too hard. She is a very nice lady but expects hard work.
She was wonderful! Lots of interesting information and she makes it fun. Her test can sometimes be hard but if you study then itll be fine. Ive taken her twice
Ms. Wright is very knowledgeable and responsive to e-mails. She balanced the book by providing emphasis to significant points through her lectures. Lots of reading (1-2 chapters weekly), then video lecture.
If you're passionate for history & it's your strong suit, then this class is for you. I enjoy history, but it is not my strong suit. I participate in class discussion regularly, but in her class I probably contributed 3 or 4 times. If your answer is slightly off, be prepared to feel a bit humiliated in front of the class. Study your notes weekly!
She gives writing assignments every week on top of learn smarts. She doesnt explain fully what she wants until after she grades it and. Takes awhile to fully understand what she wants. Her tests have essays and you cant bring in any prewritten material. If you dont do essays exactly how she wants your doomed. Essays count for most of the test.
You will have map activities in this class. I struggled with a few. You will also have three journals to do in her class. The journal assignments arent bad just follow the rubric.
She really knows her stuff- class was always interesting. Exams are fair- m/c questions and essays. Not for you if you don't plan to study or do any work. This was the best class at Calhoun so far. Will definitely take her for history again.
The assignments were easy. There just wasnt enough time on her test. You would get 60 questions and only 1 hour. It takes at least a minute to read the question and you have to look it up. Youre rushed and there is no extra time. Unless you have photographic memory there is no way you will be able to complete every single question unless you gues
If you're taking other classes or even have a job, do not take this class. There is so much work (homework assignments due every Wednesday and a test every Sunday). I am taking a mini semester though. She doesn't give you enough time on tests. There's no way I can take other classes and still pass this class. She might be a nice person tho
Miss Wright was one of my favorite teachers at Calhoun. She is very approachable. As long as you show up and do the work, you can easily get a good grade.
Best prof I've had at Calhoun. Always makes class interesting- she really loves history. Shows lots of videos, does great reviews for all exams. Yes, you have to work and study- it's college. Will take her again.
This was a great class. Ms. Wright is really clear about what you need to do for your grade- she follows a schedule and posts announcements every week letting you know what's due. You get one minute to answer each test question, but that's the same for all my online classes. You get plenty of time to complete the work and it's not hard.
This professor was very difficult. She gave us study guides for the tests, but the test did not match it. Lockdown Browser was required, and when mine did not work (technology problems out of my control) she gave me a 0 on the quiz and wouldn't let me retake it. You have to read A LOT!
I feel like she doesn't prepare us well enough with the material that we are supposed to know. I think she expects us all to know history already. The grading is super harsh and without feedback but she does give extra credit
doesn't prepare you for the test. She Expected you to know everything about history. And is frustrating because no matter what you do, if you say something that is wrong or she doesn't agree with then you are screwed for the whole semester.
If you are not fresh out of highschool or have a big knowledge of history, Don't do it! she doesn't give feedback and if you don't know history already is like you are the dumbest person ever
Her test is like 50 questions and then an essay at the end on every single test and she expects you to remember very specific details and you get an hour and 30 minutes in her class. So if you're bad at remembering or writing an essay don't take her class I've had better professors who were more hands-on. She also makes you feel dumb if need help.
I've taken her for two semesters- wish she taught more classes. Best class I've had at Calhoun hands down. Her lectures are always interesting. You can tell she knows her stuff. Always ready to help outside of class and answer questions.
Great class. Ms. Wright lets you know what to do and when to do it from the beginning. Exams are not hard if you study- they're college level. She gives extra credit and makes history interesting. Will definitely take a class with her again.
Still not sure if this is a History class or an English class. She expects essays almost every week and provides little feedback when you get a low grade. She is not specific with her assignments and expects too much for being just a history class.
This class is definitely not an easy A, but it's always interesting and challenging. I actually looked forward to coming to class. I hated history in high school but I enjoyed this class more than I ever thought. Mrs. Wright is always available for questions and she explains everything clearly. Will take her again.
This wasn't a hard class, I took it as a summer class and it was a breeze. I did have a few papers to do but it was nothing I didn't expect out of a class.
She gives you no feedback on dbqs. Is not willing to work with you even though her blackboard doesnt make assignments clear at all.
Her class was not a cake walk but i loved it. She will seem hard at first but over time she softens up and the class is incredibly entertaining. 10/10 professor made sure to snag her 122 class!
DO NOT TAKE HER. Most say she is a good teacher, but she expects so so much from you for a history class. I did more in her class than in my calculus and chemistry classes. She also tries to say its you fault your grade is bad.
Her tests were extremely difficult and most of her lecture powerpoints lack what's actually on the test. Write down EVERYTHING she says because it may be on the test. She's also looking for essays jam-packed with information and I spent more time on her essays than my English class. Her assignments are very long, yet not many through the semester.
DO THE WORK ! She gives you 32 minutes to complete 50 questions on 2 exams that have NO study guide. You have no idea what's really going to be on the test. Out of 500 questions she will ask 50 but they are not worded in the way the the homework was worded. With that being said you can get a 60 on both Exams and still pass the class with a B or C.
I took Dr. Wright for both of my History classes and I love her. There is an average amount of work and it is all very straightforward. If you just do the work you and study the notes given then you will pass. I definitely suggest Dr. Wright if you actually want to learn!
I took Professor Wright through an online dual enrollment class. She assigns on average a paper a week. In addition, she will require you to read the chapter and answer questions. There is no lectures, so you need to be a motivated student to succeed. She will give you a rubric on what she expects on your writing assignments.
If there was an option I would give her a zero. She cares nothing about you. Test are very hard and the essay is graded so tough that it nearly impossible to get full credit for it. Very few grades so you have little to depend on if you do bad on a test. My best advice if you are considering is to not even think about taking a class with her.
Please do not take this professor, she is going to be on of the most difficult ones you will have. I have had her before, and she made my semester miserable and has ruined that portion of my freshman year. She expects you to know everything about a certain topic when she knows you do not know anything about it. Please avoid taking her class.
Definitely my favorite class and teacher at Calhoun. She relates what we're covering in class to what's happening in the world. That makes it interesting and worth knowing. You will read and write in this class- good professional skills to develop. Strongly recommend.
I took Mrs. Wright for HIS 201 and 202. Assignments take a few hours a week. Only two exams- all m/c questions. Reasonable amount for a college class. Clear schedule of what work is due posted at the beginning of the semester and she send updates every week. Just make sure you do it and you'll get a good grade.
Mrs. Wright is an awesome teacher. She makes history interesting- you can tell she really knows her stuff and likes to talk about it. Tests are not hard if you study and reading quizzes are super easy. She posts study guides and PowerPoints of chapters. Easy to reach outside class if you have questions. Will definitely take more classes with her.
Great class. Not hard if you're here to learn. She keeps it interesting.
This class was not any harder than others in college. Not a history fan but needed to pass the requirement. Got answers to questions and help when I asked for it- no complaints. Followed the schedule, did the work, passed the class. Pretty simple.
Enjoyed the class. Great teacher. Easy to pass. Gotta work harder for the A.
First history class I really enjoyed. Dr. Wright gives clear instructions and is easy to get in touch with if you have questions. Not hard to do well if you do the work.
Great class. Dr. Wright shows movie and video clips that are cool. Easy online quizzes every week really help if your exams grades aren't strong. She does fun reviews before exams. Plan to take any course she teaches.
Hard not to get a C or better in this class. Website was organized, easy to navigate. Key terms for every chapter, schedule of assignments with due dates posted on day 1. Prof answers emails same day. No mystery. Excellent class, easy grade.
Mrs. Wright is an outstanding teacher. I learned a lot about history in this class. Definitely recommend.
This was an excellent history class. There's work due every week, but it's short writing assignments and easy reading quizzes. Exams are all multiple choice. You get plenty of time to complete the work. It kept me interested- Mrs. Wright does a good job.
Great class, great teacher. Only two exams and short weekly assignments. Well designed website. Could always find what I needed. Easy to reach with questions.
This was by far my favorite this semester. I always looked forward to coming to class. Lectures cover what you need to know- Mrs. Wright keeps it interesting so you want to actually listen. She answers any questions and gave me tips on how to study- which really helped. Will take her for all history classes.
If you plan to sleep or use your phone the whole time, this may not be for you. I'm here for college. Excellent class, excellent teacher. Mrs. Wright for history is a great choice. Take all her classes.
My favorite class at Calhoun. Mrs. Wright is amazing- she's easy to talk to and it's clear she wants you to succeed. Interesting discussions about why history matters. I learned a lot and enjoyed it.
Excellent class, excellent teacher. I did not think history was interesting until I took this class. Mrs. Wright is great- will take all her classes!
Really interesting lectures. Easy to talk to. Always ready to answer questions and discuss. College-level class. Definitely take history with Mrs. Wright.
Strongly recommend Mrs. Wright for history. Definitely my favorite class and teacher at Calhoun. You will have to read and write- it was really valuable to develop these skills for the job market. She relates what we're covering in class to things that are happening now- great class!
Dr. Wright for history is the best choice I made. It's not hard to get an A if you do the work. I never missed class because it was always interesting. She is easy to talk to if you have questions. She helped me with study tips and writing.
Mrs. Wright posts a clear schedule of what assignments are due and when at the beginning of the semester. She send updates every week and is always available for questions. She answers emails usually in an hour or two. I took her for HIS 201 and 202 and enjoyed both classes. Easy to get a good grade if you do the work.
Definitely my favorite class and teacher at Calhoun. Signed up for HIS 202 with Mrs. Wright next semester- can't wait. She makes history interesting and worth knowing. You will be amazed how it relates to what's going on in the world today. Strongly recommend.
I spent time writing in this class more than my last 3 English classes combined. The grading is ridiculously tough due to her believing that you should know everything before we even go over it. Skip this class if you can I don't belive it is worth the hassle and time you have to put in this class. The average is 70 right now...
This is a college level class. It's hard not to get a C or better if you just do the work and come to class. Prof Wright gives interesting lectures and answers emails the same day. No mystery about what you should be doing. Excellent class. Taking her next semester.
There are assignments every week, but they're short writing and easy reading quizzes. Exams are all multiple choice. You get plenty of time to complete the work- most of it is posted on day one. It was easy to keep track of the schedule on Blackboard. Mrs. Wright is great- easy to get in touch with. I'll take her again for history.
I took Mrs. Wright for both US history classes and really enjoyed them. Great teacher, well organized class, not too much work, learned a lot!
ThIs professor does not work with students whatsoever and also does not respond to emails until weeks later. Would NOT recommend at all.
I'm a history fan and this was a great class. Assignments were interesting and I learned things that relate to what's happening in the world today. Instructor Wright answers emails the same day- always easy to get in touch with for questions. Website was clear and organized. Looking forward to taking HIS 202 with her.
Definately great class, great teacher. Two exams with mc questions, short weekly assignments. Well designed website, clear grading policy. Could always find what I needed. Easy to reach with questions.
Professor Wright is an outstanding teacher. Definitely my favorite at Calhoun- recommend for any history class. She makes it interesting so you want to come to class.
The class overall was pretty good. There were some difficult and stressful times but nothing too bad. I know some people did struggle with the difficulty of the class. Just make sure to pay attention during test reviews because it is pretty similar to most (not all) test questions.
Mrs. Wright does a good job- excellent history class. Short weekly writing assignments and easy reading quizzes. Exams are all multiple choice. You get plenty of time to complete the work. It definately kept me interested.
My favorite class at Calhoun. Mrs. Wright is an outstanding teacher. I learned a lot about history and why it matters. Definitely recommend.
Really enjoyed the class. Great teacher. Easy to pass with a C- no problem. Gotta work harder for the A but I needed it. Will take Mrs. Wright for HIS 202.
Mrs. Wright makes her class really interesting- you can tell she enjoys teaching history. Tests are not hard if you study and weekly quizzes are super easy. Always available outside class if you have questions. Will definitely take more classes with her.
First online class I enjoyed and was interesting. Blackboard website was organized and Dr. Wright gives clear instructions. Easy to get in touch with if you have questions. Not hard to do well if you complete the assignments. Easy tests.
I was not interested in history at all in high school but Mrs. Wright's class changed my mind. There's assigned reading and essays on exams but she gives the topics in advance. No surprises. I feel that I'm better prepared for college and have more skills after this class. Will definately take her for HIS 122.
College-level online class. Do the work and you'll get a good grade- no mystery. Easy to reach by email. Strongly recommend taking history with Mrs. Wright.
The assignments are easy if you like writing papers. The only thing that was hard were the exams so prepare to study at least 100 terms, remember to watch every chapter video, and read each chapter carefully because there is no study guide. Also this class is a mini semester apparently so it goes by quick.
The most interesting class I've taken at Calhoun. I never wanted to miss class. Dr. Wright shows up early and stays late if you have questions- she's easy to tak to. Best choice for history by far. Signing up for HIS122 next semester.
Mrs. Wright posts a clear schedule of what assignments are due and when at the beginning of the semester. She send updates every week and answers emails quickly. I took her for HIS 201 and 202- both classes were great. Key terms posted for every chapter so you know what to study for exams. Easy to get a good grade if you do the work.
Dr. Wright makes history really interesting. I was surprised how important what we learned is to understanding what's happening in the world today. Strongly recommend her for any history class.
This class was easy to complete with a tough work schedule. Assignments are posted in advance so you can work ahead as long as you finish before they close. Professor sends weekly reminders of what's due. Only two exams and short weekly assignments- no surprises. It's easy to find what you need on the website. Great class, great teacher.
Mrs. Wright makes class so interesting- she knows a lot about history and loves talking about it. If you take notes and study, exams are not hard. Online reading quizzes are easy and really help your grade. Always available before or after class if you have questions or need help. Best choice for history.
Class was overall easy. Just read the homework and do the worksheet. Only thing I have to say is the time she gives you on exams. You have 50 question exams for only 38 minutes! I studied and still struggled to reach the time. Also no late work accepted so make sure its on time.
This class was a breeze! Plenty of time to work on the content and easy/fair grading criteria. I never had any issues with reaching Dr. Wright and she was very interactive with the class as far as posting announcements/upcoming work reminders/fun facts.
Her class obtains of lots of writing, but the difficulty is easy if you read the chapters.
I took Mrs. Wright for world history. Way different from my last history class- it was fun and really interesting! You can tell she likes what she does. Great teacher, well organized class, not too much work, learned a lot! Will definately take her for 122.
Definitely my favorite class and teacher at Calhoun. Dr. Wright makes history really interesting and relates it to what's going on in the world today. Strongly recommend for all history classes.
This professor should not be employed here, honestly that can be said about a lot of professors at Calhoun. This professor really should have been an English professor because all you do in here is write. I'll be honest all the good reviews must be from the 4.0 students because as the average student this class just isn't worth it. TEST ARE HARD!
This is a college level class. If you just do the work and come to class, it's hard not to get a good grade. If that's not your plan, this isn't the class for you. Prof Wright gives interesting lectures and is always available for questions. Excellent class. Taking her for all history.
Second class I've taken with Dr. Wright. Tried to never miss class because it was always interesting. She really helped me with study tips and writing. The most I've learned in a class.
All the HW is from the textbook. The exams are 50 questions & an essay that counts for 20% of the exam grade. The essays are handwritten on the day of the test, and she barely tells you what she's expecting. She's been rude to a kid with a mental disability. Study guides are just a list of terms. She's doesn't give feedback or graded exams back.
Professor gives you the exam essay in advance so it's easy to prepare. Class reviews on the study guide terms before every exam really help, too. This class is not hard if you show up and do the work. It's always interesting and you learn a lot if you participate in class discussions. That's what I'm here for.
My favorite class at Calhoun by far. Mrs. Wright is an outstanding teacher. You can tell she likes to talk about history so it's interesting. Not too much work for a college class. Definately recommend.
Well designed class website. Easy to follow what assignments were due each week. Not hard to get a good grade if you do the work. Mrs. Wright was always available to answer questions- even on nights and week-ends. Definitely take history with Mrs. Wright.
She is super lecture heavy and if you miss one class you are put of luck. She speaks very quickly and hardly goes back over what she says. She comes across as very condescending.
This teacher is terrible. She is egotistical, talks down on her students, doesn't give any assurance or wiggle room for any emergencies or technical difficulties. Be prepared to write an essay through 6 chapters of History and not allowed an outline for guidance. Along with 40 multiple choice questions on top of it. 100%tell everyone not to takeher
If you take notes during lectures you should be completely fine! For tests, she will usually point out things you should study. Study guides and powerpoints are posted for weeks and the exam review really helps. She responds to emails quickly and is always available before or after class.
Best choice for history at Calhoun. More interesting than my other classes. Dr. Wright shows up early and stays late if you have questions- she's easy to tak to. Signing up for HIS122 next semester.
Not every class at Calhoun has to be a no-brainer easy A. This was a great class, great teacher. I enjoyed it and would take any class Mrs. Wright teaches.
Excellent history class. Short weekly writing assignments and easy reading quizzes. Exams are all multiple choice. You get plenty of time to complete the work. Well organized website. Mrs. Wright always answered my questions and emails quickly.
DONT DO IT
I definitely wasn't prepared for college level work after high school. Working with Mrs. Wright helped me improve my grades and pass. It helped me in all my classes. Will definitely take her for 122.
Amazing teacher. Best class I've taken at Calhoun.
Best online class- I enjoyed it. Website class site is organized- Dr. Wright gives clear instructions for assignments. She's easy to get in touch with if you have questions. Not hard to do well. Easy tests.
Weekly writing assignments but they're not long. Easy if you read the chapters. Tests all multiple choice. Good history class.
Dr. Wright gives great lectures. She explains things very clearly. It helps if you read the book and participate in class. You can tell she wants to get her students excited about history.
she's a good teacher no doubt about it and you will learn in this class but the tests and essays on the same day are quite hard and be prepared to put in extra effort for this class and you're going to have to think outside of the box and she will call you out for any minor dumb mistakes so if you're sensitive and often make mistakes do not take.
Mrs. Wright gives great lectures and explains things very clearly. She answers any questions and wants her students to do well. I needed an A and was ready to work for it. Great class.
This is my second time taking her- Mrs. Wright is an awesome teacher! If you come to class, take notes, and study you will pass. Study guides and reviews go over what will be on the exams. She gives the essay in advance. Highly recommend!
Best online class I have taken so far. The teacher is very organized and her expectations clear. She is nice and responds to emails quickly. There are some writing assignments. Her tests are multiple choice. I enjoyed this class so much I am taking her again for my next history class. I highly recommend her for online learning.
Tests hardly look anything like the study guide. Genuinely the worst class I have taken ever. I strongly recommend choosing a different professor.
Mrs. Wright for world history is a great choice. Way different from my last history class- it was fun and really interesting! Not too much work if you come to class and study for tests. Exam review covers what's important and she tells you the essay is in advance. Final exam is all multiple choice. Will definately take her for 122.
Dr. Wright is an awesome instructor. One of the best I've had at Calhoun. Easy to get in touch with if you have questions in class or even on weekends. Not hard to do well if you come to class and study. College level, learned alot.
Her class is simple although she is not lenient on late return. She quick to respond to message. Not a bad professor.
Deadline is 10pm which is very odd. I did not like her attitude in emails.
It's easy to get a good grade in this online class. Assignments are posted 8 weeks in advance so there's plenty of time to complete the work. You get a week for exams but they are all m/c questions. I never had any trouble getting in touch with Mrs. Wright even on nights and week-ends. Great class, great teacher if you're here for college.
This was an excellent class. So different from boring high school history. Dr. Wright is great- she loves talking about history. I never thought history was interesting but a good teacher makes all the difference. Take all her classes.
Same your time and take someone else. I am taking 300 and 400 level classes and spent more time on her class than those two combined.
This class wasn't any harder than other college level courses. More interesting if you do the work and participate in discussions. After taking Mrs. Wright's class I get why history is important- and I understand a lot more about how it relates today.
This is the worst teacher I have ever had. Ever. She was incredibly unclear when it came to essays/tests, and never gave instructions on what to write about. Her grading is super inconsistent, and is unwilling to grant extensions regardless of life circumstances. She assumes that this is the only class you are taking. Do not ever take this teacher.
Highly recommend Mrs. Wright for all history classes. She is clear about grading and really interesting. Study guides and reviews go over what will be on the exams. She tells you exactly what the essay will be in advance. No mystery- come to class and study. Great class!
Dr. Wright is amazing- I loved this class. If you take notes and study it's not hard to get a good grade. She answers emails quickly and is always available before or after class.
Fine teacher, but most lectures were her reading directly from the book with a slideshow on the side. Each homework took me three hours or more and was mostly content irrelevant to tests; was also often due before it was taught in class. Essay topics were just thrown to us and we had to determine ourselves which things she would give points for.
The Canvas website was simple so it's easy to follow what assignments were due. Mrs. Wright sends announcements every week and answers emails even nights and week-ends. It's not hard to get a good grade if you do the work. Definately recommend this class for history.
Mrs. Wright is an excellent teacher and I enjoyed this class. You can tell she wants students to succeed and has high expectations. Not my easiest class, college level- but it was worth it. Will definately take another history class with Mrs. Wright.
I did well in this class even with a heavy schedule. All assignments are posted weeks in advance so you can work at your own pace. Mrs. Wright sends clear directions and grades quickly. Always answers emails. Great choice for history.
The hardest history class you will ever take but the best history class you will ever take. Make a study guide from the study guide terms she gives you and study the slides for the test. Write the essay beforehand and memorize it. Do not miss any homework it is free heavily weighted points! I didnt like her; then I grew to appreciate her greatly.
She expected us to know the lesson and course material before she taught it to us. when taking tests the essay portion is the most important and the hardest bit.
I was definitely not prepared to do college work after high school. Meeting with Mrs. Wright really helped. She worked with me on study skills and writing which I needed to improve my grades. It helped me in all my classes. Will definitely take her for 122.
Mrs. Wright is an amazing teacher, this is an excellent class. She's excited about history and keeps you interested. Essay is only 20% of exam and she announces it in advance. The rest is m/c questions based on posted study guides. This class was like the real world where you're expected to be prepared and learn things. Best choice for history!
If you're looking for an easy summer class to get done with a history credit, take anyone other than this professor. Lots of effort needed.
This was an amazing class. Dr. Wright is great- you can tell she loves talking about history and wants students to succeed. I always thought history was boring but since I took this class I get why it's interesting and relates to what's happening in the world today. A good teacher makes all the difference. Will definately take her for HIS 122.
Mrs Wright is an awful professor. I had to withdraw from her class because it was so bad. If you want a lecture heavy class then take hers, also expect to study study study!! This is no easy class. It is very hard and she doesn't have respect for those who have an ADA!
This was a great history class. Highly recommend Mrs. Wright. Her class is always interesting. Study guides and reviews go over what's on exams. She tells you exactly what the essay will be in advance. Smartbooks are easy and help out your grade. No mystery- come to class, study, get a good grade!
Pretty simple to get a good grade in this online class. Assignments are posted weeks in advance- plenty of time to complete even with a work schedule. Exams are all m/c questions, short writing assignments. I never had any trouble getting in touch with Prof Wright even nights and week-ends. Great class, great teacher if you're here for college.
You need to do the smart books. The more participation in class, the less lecture given. The essays for the tests are given in advance to prepare. This class does depend on being present. She gives any information on the tests in class during lecture and test review.
An amazing professor she is very knowledgeable and passionate about history! The presentations were a bit out of date, however, if you just listen to her and pay attention to the main points and order of events you will do good on tests because they are very straightforward.
This professor is not nice and she doesnt want to help international student. I tried to study hard for this class but I still failed. Her tests always 40 multiple choice and essay or 50 multiple choice. Really heavy, difficult and she gives study guide with term, and dont have any information about term for exam. She takes this class so serious
Overall solid professor. Homework is “smartbooks”, never takes more than 2 hours in one sitting. No quizzes, tests normally consist of 40 mcq and one essay response question. Does expect you to cover material for the day of lecture before class, and the reading is a little hard to digest in some chapters. Do not show up late, will call you out.
College level class. Mrs. Wright is always prepared and well organized. She is a fair grader- you get the grade you work for. Recommend.
After coasting through high school, I thought this class was hard in the beginning. Dr. Wright worked with me to improve my grades and it helped in all my classes. She was always willing to meet before or after class. Will definitely take her for 122.
