it's my first day in her class and i'm in love! she is not boring at all, she makes math fun even for me! this will be a fast summer term! can't wait for my grade!

A pleasant surprise after weeks of reading TBA. Barbie is very nice and helpful and silly at times. Moderate amount of homework, it looks like more than it really is. I love her!

Even tho I failed the class I still will take this professor again. I shouldnt have tried to take a math class in the express summer term, failing was my own fault. The teacher is really nice and helpfull she makes sure everyone understands before teaching more stuff she gives reviews and practice tests & a practice final I'll try again in the fall

She absolutely amazing! She makes the class so much fun she is very laid back and likes to have a good time and joke around. I felt so comfortable in her class you never need be afraid to speak up when you need help, she responds to emails and is always there to help when you need it before during or after class.

I loved the class until I had to drop because I don't know my times tables. If you don't know them, you will not pass. The teacher is great, nice and helpful. You have to do homework, it's part of your grade, but it will help you do good on tests.

GREAT TEACHER! I HATED MATH AND WAS NOT GOOD AT IT AT ALL BUT IN HER CLASS I WAS LIKE A GENIUS BECUASE I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING SHE EXPLAINS VERY WELL AND WILL GO OVER UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND HER! SHE IS THE BEST

Prof Edgar is awesome! I could never understand algebra, but she goes over everything so clearly and is always there to help or answer questions. I highly recommend her!!!!!

Professor Egar is a very helpful teacher if you have have Math anxiety. She explains things clearly and encourages every student to do their best. If you follow her simple steps, you will do well! I am not a Math person yet here I am with a grade of "B" and glad that I did not drop out of this class! You will enjoy her class and humor!

P. Edgar is the greatest math teacher at PBSC.Took prep 1 and 2 with her because she is that good. I hated math and wanted to quit but she helped me undertand it a lot better.Always available when ever,fun,energetic and organized.Allowed me to sit in another one of her math classes when I was absent so I would not miss the lesson and fall behind.

since no one has mentioned learning styles, I want to make sure it's clear that this prof. does everything she can do to teach so every learning style can learn. Even tho her teaching style is obviously "visual", she wants everyone to learn and she makes it fun to be in class!

Professor Edgar was the best instructor possible to have for this course. She made the learning an easy transition into the more difficult portion of the subject. It was easy to acquire the knowledge that was needed to pass and be confident in the up coming coures.

Now that I'm in Intermed. Alg. I MISS her! After several tries to pass prep, I found her on here and tried again. She is strict, but fair, she is funny, but serious about your success, she tells you on the first day what's expected then makes you stick to your end of the deal. I think she teaches way more than just algebra. LOVE her!

Clearly anyone who says anyting different than how great or helpful she is both IN and OUT of the class, probably failed b/c they didn't do the work. She teaches even better than she tutors but if you don't do the work, you won't pass. She will help you do the work

I love this teacher. She is so helpful but you have to do the work & be willing to take her advice. If you don't you will fail then you will prob end up blaming her (grow up)! I was scared & stressed at first but her humor & sarcastic wit kept the mood light & eased my fear. If you want to pass, take her class, but be prepared to do the work.

I love her teaching style. She really helps me with my confidence in math, a subjact that I hated and feared. It's not really that hard if you take good class notes, do her practice tests and keep up with the hw. You can even work 1 on 1 with her in the lab. If you're a hater, you must not have listened to the prof.

I recommend to take her class for this prep algebra course. Her teaching style is fun and she keeps it interesting. She always helps you understand and if you have a hard time, she will work with you in or outside of the classroom. I only wish she taught higher math too!

Barbie Edgar turned me into a math lover. Even though the material was challenging, she made sure everyone in the class had the correct information before moving on. You of course have to let her know if you are having trouble and if you are she will personally help you. Super nice ! She saved me GPA. I RECOMMEND BIG TIME! LOVE HER! :) :) :)

No one teaches like her. She loves teaching and it shows, from knowing her stuff all the way to caring about me, don't miss class because she is the only one who can get this stuff through. She uses humor, more than I expected, but in a way that makes the learning fun and removes any intimidation from the very 1st day. You NEED her!

Barbie Edgar is a GREAT professor and an even greater person. Yes she can be sarcastic, but only if you were not listening or failed to check back with the syllabus. Put in the time, do the work, follow directions, and be respectful and you should have no problems making it through her class. It also helps that she's hot, but don't get distracted!

Profesor Edgar was one of the best math teachers i have ever had. She is extremely helpful, makes a lot of jokes, and makes it almost impossible for you to fail. If you come to class, do homework (Which is not much and really apply yourself. You Will pass no questions!

After a 15 year college hiatus & having to be in a developmental math, I was NOT looking forward to this class, however Prof. Edgar is amazing! She covers the material, answers questions, & is readily avail/easy to communicate with. Do your HW, labs, and study! Sense of humor a +! Be on time & apply yourself! I've struggled my whole life with math. This is only the beginning of my class with her, but she has surpassed my expectations - based on what I have read here and been told. I can't wait to pass a math test because I am gaining confidence due to her teaching and encouraging ways.

By far the best math teacher Ive ever had! She explains and teaches you the easiest methods. There is homework and additional practice required but it is the exact amount you need to full understand the topic. Lots of extra credit available and a really caring professor! I wish she taught more math credits.

Professor Edgar is the greatest math teacher I have ever had. She made difficult concepts easier to understand such as graphing linear equations. I hope there are other instructors for more challenging levels of math that adopt similar teaching methods as she has.

Prof. Edgar renewed my love for Maths. You have no choice but to be awake and alert in her class, as she keeps us engaged, she listens, her class is fun in a very respectful manner, even the fun terms she uses, one make take it likely but it makes you remember formula's like she often says, "you bring the baby to the mama." she cares genuinely.

Just do all your work, take notes every class, and take the time to understand what you write down and you will be fine. Professor Edgar will help you understand concepts you might not have been able to grasp in high school, and is extremely accessible.

I can't believe I got an A! I hated math, I hated my math teachers all because they never cared or seemed to know what they're teaching. Prof. Barbie was really there for me. I almost gave up, but she encouraged me to keep going and never give up. She helped me with concepts I struggled with so I knew I could go to her with anything i needed help with. Her examples were funny and real, but they made sense to me so I could learn.

Professor Edgar was a very helpful educator! This is the first math class I have ever gotten an A in, and it is no doubt due to her teaching style. I found myself understanding concepts I had never understood before. If I could retake her for my upper-level maths, I would. Definitely recommend.

It's been a long time since HS and I don't want to fail my credit classes. I just took my first test and can't believe I got an A+! I never did good in math class because it's confusing to me and my teachers made us learn it on our own. Prof. Edgar has "been there, done that" and suffered through this class, so she cares about actually teaching.

I highly recommend Prof. Edgar. She's easy to reach and cares about her students. I looked forward to going to her class all the time and she made learning fun. She even puts crosswords on the back of quizzes for extra credit and to make it super fun. She also stops after each questions and asks if anyone needs help. Hands down my favorite prof.

Mrs. Barbie is a wonderful teacher. I came into this class hardly knowing any math but my math skills skyrocketed through the roof thanks to Mrs. Barbie and her amazing teaching skills. If you need additional help in her class, she is always open arms to help her students achieve for the upcoming tests.
