She is terrible. I failed pre-cal. I sat in the front and still couldn't hear her. Please, go home and take care of your grandkids. poop.

She's aweful! I struggled to pass with a C! She doesn't help you and she's just overall really mean!! I wouldn't recommend her to anyone!

She's an aweful teacher!! I barely passed with a C. She only likes to talk about things one time and expects you to understand. If you don't understand mathand you need a lot of help, she's not the person to take. I wouldn't recommend her for anyone!

Her voice made me sleepy in the class. You should go to Eldridge Hall for tutor service or find math person for help.

She's is so hard, I could not follow her teachings at all. She only used one example for each problem type, and when asked questions, she makes you feel stupid. I would not take this course if I had the option.

I took Wolfe for Pre-Cal. I made a high B in intermediate algebra, and had to drop pre-cal because I was failing. Wolfe doesn't like questions, and only gives one example. This was the hardest class I've ever taken. Do NOT take her!

would not let me have an a. 89.46. love math and never got an answer wrong on a test. yes you read that right. i got a b because she marks or for things as small as spelling!! Do Not Take.

I would never recommend her to anyone. She is honestly the worst teacher I have ever had. I struggled to come out with a D in her class. If you go to her for help she will tell you she "is not a tutor." She takes off points for silly things and is not interested in helping her students.

This class was ridiculous. If you put the wrong sign or forget to put parenthesis the whole problem gets counted wrong. If you want your GPA to stay up dont take her.

I wanted to write the school she is no help she doesnt explain anything she gets smart with you in emails if she is the only teacher available & you need this class just CLEP it out u will have a better chance of passing that test than her class they need to look over her classes & forgive anyone who failed from their GPA

Horrible experience!!!! I do not recommend anyone taking a class taught by this instructor! I have had the best experiences with every single teacher at this school, they would do everything possible to help you with the material or any questions or concerns, till I met this lady!!

Hate to say it but she is a terrible teacher. I never get what is going on and the homework has nothing to do with what we learn in class. On tests she throws things in there from previous chapters that we have already forgotten but expected to remember. Worst teacher I've had. Im sure she is a nice person but she cannot teach. Find someone else.

AWEFUL teacher. Anytime I had a question, she wouldn't answer it. I basically taught myself and managed to make a 68. Now I have to retake this course because I have to make at least a C to be able to go on to the next class. She also liked to put questions on the test that were nothing like anything on your homework. DO NOT TAKE FROM HER!

Avoid taking this class at ALL COSTS. Absolutely the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. Will not work with you, tests are not clear. Throws random things on tests from previous chapters. Will not help you with your grade and takes off for small mistakes when you are showing your work. Don't... just don't.

This lady is the worst instructor I have ever encountered. She won't help you and couldn't care less if you pass of fail her class.

Horrible professor. Doesn't care about student success. She acts like students already know the material and basically reviews some in class. If you miss a step on the test, she counts it wrong. Repeats unnecessary comments ridiculous amount of times. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! Made the first C of my life in this class.

To be 100% honest, this is the worst professor I have ever had. If there was something less than a 1 that I could rate her, I would. Wanting to attend grad school, I was aiming for something close to a 4.0 GPA, but with Wolfe I don't think you could get an A regardless of how hard you work. She doesn't care about her students or their success.

I wish she would help you understand the course. If you ask for another example, she forgets or simply doesn't have one. Not helpful and expects you to know the material already. I sought help at the tutoring center and my peers and still failed the class. Don't take this professor, please.

Im good at math usually, but this was the hardest class that i have ever taken. She is not lenient when it comes to grading her test (btw, its not on a scantron), you have to work the problem out doing it her way. She also is not the best t explaining the material in class. You will have a heavy homework load after every class.

If you understand math in general, you will do well. However, if you struggle even a little then this is not the professor for you. She is a tough professor who teaches in a very specific matter and doesn't have much wiggle room when it comes to questions or asking things to be explained differently.

Homework after each class due before the next class, tests count 65% of your grade, & the final counts 25%. She basically expects you to know the course material beforehand, so she teaches everything super fast. She is a VERY particular grader (if you work out a problem differently than how she wants it worked, you won't get cred, even if its right

Hardest teacher I have ever had in my life. Never made a C before this class. Tests count 65% of your final grade, and even if you get the answer right, chances are she will mark off because of your scratch work. If it's sloppy, even if you know what you are doing, major points taken off. Tons of homework. Beware.

This teacher was overall terrible at teaching Math. I took the same class my senior year of high school. Thinking this would just be a recap and an easy A, I took it. But I was sure wrong, I barely passed the class with a C. 0/10. Would not recommend. Good luck to all of those who chose this teacher, you'll need it

I have never made anything lower than an A in math until I took Wolfe. She is an extremely tough grader. The tests are never like the homework. She expects you to know exactly what she is talking about, and she will get mad if you ask a simple question. 10/10 would NEVER TAKE HER AGAIN!

SHES HORRIBLE DO NOT TAKE HER, you get one thing wrong in the formula you will not get any credit, you always have to show work even if you use a calculator

Attendance wasn't mandatory, but if you skip you will fail. She's a really sweet woman, just a really tough grader. Marks off for the smallest mistakes and the tests are 10 times harder than the homework. I do not recommend taking her.

Wolfe is the worst teacher I've had. The content is easy and she teaches it in a way that is easy to understand but here's the thing... The problems on the test are WAY harder than in class or on the homework. Her grading is EXTREMELY intense & unless you're a math genius, you wont make an A on a test... which accounts for 90% of your final grade!

PSA: If you take this class without already knowing the material, you will not pass. Barbra is a sweet lady but somehow she teaches in a way that makes generally easy material into a hard to understand subject. She will take off points on tests for the dumbest reasons such as incorrectly spelling the name of a formula used. Don't take this class!!

Took her fall 19. Dont do it. If you arent a math whiz youll fail this class. I promise . She doesnt answer questions in class And the homework doesnt help. And the homework costs money too So dont take Wolfe. Shes awful.

Worst teacher Ive ever had. I have always excelled at math and placed into Cal 1 but took this class bc it was all I needed for my degree, but the way this teacher grades will destroy your grade. I took AP Calculus in high school and still struggled due to her grading. I cant even imagine how it would be for someone who really struggles in math..

I would recommend taking this class if you love to suffer and hate being happy. There is so much homework and she grades harder than any professor I have ever had.

Not much to say that's already been said. It was bad enough that I had to drop the class due to poor teaching and the uncertainty of COVID-19. I took her class due to scheduling convenience, but even that essential parameter should be withdrawn from consideration due her poor class. Even 4.0 students failed her class. In short, get out of it ASAP.

She is the absolute worst. Never in my life would I think a professor would be more about themselves than the students but here we are with Mrs. Wolfe. Don't you dare find a solution to a question that isnt met by her standards or it will be wrong. There is no reason she should be a professor at a university, stay away if possible. She is the worst

BEWARE OF BARBARA WOLFE. Do NOT take her class, even if you are great with math. Her grading techniques are awful; she does not give feedback or answer emails regarding help. MML is the only source of help you will have from her class. Please read ALL ratings before taking this class; it is your money.

Would highly recommend running away from Professor Wolfe. Her grading scale is very tough. Math is math, there is only one answer. She will count the question wrong and refuse to fix your grade when bringing it to her attention. Please, just do not waste your money on this Professor.

Enjoy reading math textbooks? This class may be for you. You're given textbook definitions, 2 ex's of the problem if you're lucky. On HW assignments where you are required to show work, if you get it wrong, she doesn't explain what you are doing wrong. I received 100 on all HW assignments and missed 15 total test questions from 6 tests and got a B.

The worst option. Pick anyone else, regardless of time. a 7:00 p.m. with anyone else is better than a 12:00 with Wolfe

Quite literally the worst math class I have ever taken. Do not take her even if it is the only option!

If you like having someone else teach you a course that you are paying a campus to teach you then go for it. Seems like this professor could care less and acts like she can follow simple math when you turn in work. For some of the homework you have to show work and if you don't do it like she wants you to then you will receive no credit.

Very mean and unforgiving

If you struggle with math do not take her class. I had to try to teach myself through you tube. She grades very harshly. If your shown work isn't exactly exactly how she wants it- she will mark your answer wrong even if your answer is correct. Very test heavy and homework heavy through My Mathlab. I do not recommend.

Makes you watch lecture videos outside of class time so she doesn't have to actually teach. Tons of homework but it's only 10% of the grade. Takes points off of correct test answers if she doesn't like the way you solved it, which will quickly tank your grade. All around a crusty old hag. If possible, take anyone else.
