He's a nice guy, but his class is boring! You MUST use your time well in order to pass. Overall he's ok. PS_ Do your h/work and study, you'll be fine.
So easy, open book tests. No attendance policy
Worst teacher in school, he has very hard tests even though they are open book. You get very confused on what he wants.
He is the worst teacher in school.Says that it is not his problem if you don't understand material.Unhelpful and boring. He has a monotone voice where it makes you want to choke him.Highest test avg was a D+ with open book too!!!!Don't take him.
This guy is your cure for insomnia. He puts you straight to sleep. He does not give ample time on tests, but if you sincerely study, you'll do fine. He's not as bad as some have made him out to be. I'd take him if he was my last resort. It isn't that bad.
EVER BEEN TO HELL???? VERY UNORGANIZED, VERY UNHELPFUL.....ONE OF THE WORST TEACHERS IN TOWSON
Do not take! Very unorganized and not clear on how any of his students are doing. Has 2 tests which are impossible to finish in the allocated time limits, but 2 easy computer projects. Nice guy but very frustrating to learn from.
somehow this class made me stupider. Stay away
Took over the summer this is when i recommend you take him problobly with a friend very boring but very easy got an A in his class that i an F in with Wheeler PS dont take Wheeler!
Nice guy, but confusing as hell. Sounds like he is reading from a book when teaching. He will jump around and speak when everyone is talking so nobody in class has any idea what we are doing or how to do it. If it were not for the open notes/book tests
Horrible, need I say more. Doesn't explain anything, expects you to know lots of material yourself. Doesn't help anyone, just says "must practice", how are going to practice if you don't understand. Got a D after trying hard. He sucks!!!
I took him during the summer session and got an "A"! Just pay attention in class and you'll do fine. Study for the exams and practice the problems atleast once. This class is not that hard..it is if you dont study. Very reasonable
Decent teacher, boring class. Tests are open book, you will do well if you do good on the tests. Overall, recommended.
Waste of my time
exams are too long to finish entirely, grades very hard, lots of not complex but none the less math computations. take Babinski, no math at all, just terms. i got an F in Nags class, but i got an A on the first Babinski test, and i missed the first 2 weeks of his class.
He makes the material as simple as possible. The tests are hard to finish in the alloted time but he lets you use your book. He basically gives you 100% on the projects so long as you do them. People say they dont like him but the material is easy and I think he does an ok job.
Whoever gives this man a good remark must be a nerd. This guy sucks. Took him, and got a D, Took Babinski and I'm getting an A. This is for obvious reasons, cause Nag tests on all Math! Don't take no matter the options for professors.

Boring but its the material not him. He is fair 2 tests and 2 projects (everyone who attempts gets 100% on) is the grade. Tests are long and difficult but open book/open note. Advice: Just make a cheat sheet with everything on one page for the test so you dont have to search. Got 128/125 doing that
Very boring. Tries to engage the class, but he can't seem to get anyone involved. I took his class in an auditorium setting and I could hardly understand/hear him. I wouldn't avoid his class again, but I wouldn't suggest taking his classes.
Would not reccomend taking Nag. He means well but he is not a good teacher. If you like to teach yourself then I would take the class but otherwise steer clear of his class. Not easy and tests are so long and complicated that you cant finish them.
If you like story time, this is the class for you! He would literally sit at a desk upfront & read from the book every class. Don't bother asking questions though - answers not that helpful. Was an incredibly easy class - boring - but easy!
I think you could miss almost every class and still recieve an A in the class. And it may be worth missing every class
The class was very boring and so was the textbook. I went everyday in case he announced something important. Group project not too hard with right group. Case assignment is very easy. My group all got "A's" Only gives final which is bad because unless a person has had him for another class they do not know what to expect.
Class was very boring! Lets you use the book and notes on tests, but the tests are still long and kind of hard. You can pass if you put a little effort into it.

Don't take him!! He is totally unclear & unhelpful when you ask him questions he just says read the book. 2 projects that are easy but 2 tests that are sooo HARD. The material on the tests is nothing like what is in the book. He is by far the worst teacher I have ever had!!
The class is not an easy class at ALL! But if you listen and read the book its all laid OUT! I liked his teaching style and he even has a sense of humor. I would take him again. I think he is a good teacher and he definitely grades FAIR!
This guy is really sweet. He lets you out of class, and he is aware when he loses everyones attention. He is a rediculously easy grader. Take him!
He's kinda confusing i didn't really understand the stuff he tries to explain....seems to be considerate....hard exams!!! Avoid if possible.
Dont take him!! Really hard class. Ridiculous tests. Does not explain anything besides what's written in the book. Not a GPA booster. Unless you want to spend all your time studying and still getting a C or worse, dont sign up for this class.
The worse teacher I EVER had at Towson. If you have him as a choice choose ANYBODY else. He's unclear, the material presented is not explained thorougly. He's just a horrible TEACHer. He may know his stuff (I don't know) but he does NOT know how to teach.
Ok although the tests are open notes and open book doesn't make it any easier. He is boring and you can barely understand him. I would suggest taking another teacher if you want to learn anything.
3 exams all open note. 2 group projects. attendance counts for extra credit points.
Attendance isn't required and counts as extra credit at the end. There are three exams which are all open notes and book. It is sometimes helpful to go to class because you see what will be covered on the exam. Two group computer projects which aren't hard.
Ok, he could def put the Visine Guy to sleep, but who cares? It's not like ppl listen to him anyway, every1 is on MySpace & FBook. He gives 2 Open book tests! There's 1 Group Project, & 5 easy case studies due on the last day of class. A very BORING, yet EASY A!
Nag is difficult but fair. Tests are open book but hard. If you come to class and do the projects you will do fine. He is really interested in the materials that he teaches. He really is a nice guy despite what some people may say.
I completely agree with the last rating. The class was very difficult, but I do remember the stuff I learned.
He doesn?t speak English well, all he does it read the power points in class. He expects you to know how to do problems but doesn?t even show examples. Two computer projects that are not explained, three open note test, but don?t let that fool you because you don?t have enough time, the only way people are passing is because he has used the same te
I agree with the posting below. He DOES NOT teach. He reads the powerpoint slides to you, which any college student can do themselves. The only way anyone is passing is by cheating, which is sad. I would just suggest teacing yourself the material, you will learn more. Good Luck!!
Nag is crapola! He just reads the ppts word-for-word and doesn't ever work out examples or walk you through problems. He is unclear and speaks poor english. The man can barely move around the room, muchless convey any sort of knowledge. The class would often times revolt and i remember one student calling him out "i can't believe Towson pays you!"
Failed 3 tests, got 100% on the two projects and got a B. DO THE PROJECTS AND DO THEM WELL! Honestly though, avoid this guy. Ops Mngt is an important subject and he screws his students out of learning it. Boring, unclear, extremely difficult tests. Overall, a painful experience.
Avoid-if you can! He does not teach at all! And dont bother teaching youself cuz its not gona help when its time for the exam. Doest go over enough problems for us to understand the concept.
awful teacher, he is the worst professor i have ever had. A useless professor. If you are smart stay away.
Have this character as an advisor and sometimes I feel like I should be his advisor...the advice is useless and if I did what he said I wouldn't graduate on time... It completely blows my mind that TOWSON can hire someone with absolutly no socials and have them teaching MANAGEMENT classes!! THIS IS PRACTICALLY AN OXY MORON. Try teaching biology!
IF You get stuck with him, DROP & ADD ASAP. Only an idiot would knowingly take this guy. Stay Away at all costs!!
This professor has no idea what narrative is and how essential it is to good teaching. Sitting through his class is honestly a painful experience. He has a staccato teaching style and his ability to explain statistical concepts clearly while linking them to other concepts is nil. The textbook is just as bad. Stay away if you can!!
You might as well be taking an online class with this guy. He regurgitates the textbook slides in class-that's it. Half of my class needs the help of a tutor because the textbook is just as confusing. He doesn't go over problems. He is a nice man, just cannot teach. Please do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs!!!!
He makes a good advisor. He is nice to talk to.
He is a nice man but unfortunately he cannot impart the languagge of statistics. Not good as a first professor for this subject. Avoid taking at ALL COSTS!!!!
Prof. Nag is a good and fair teacher. OPEN NOTE TESTS! Not to mention half the questions on the test are straight out of the book. The other half just learn how to do the problems the night before the tests. Thats what I did and I got a B+ do the internet projects with a group of like 8 people and you can write all there names on one. Ez clas take!
Terrible professor. He can't figure out how to work the powerpoints or microphone. He has no knowledge of the topic and says nothing important during class. 3 open note, open book test and 2 projects. As long as you type the projects you will get 100..it doesn't matter what you write. Every class was torture to sit through.
Best Professor EVER! It's impossible not to get an A, unless u do something else during the exam:P He has a GREAT personality, always willing to help, has many interesting stories related to the subject... The material itself isn't easy - that's why many students wrote such a bad review... But HE IS A GREAT TEACHER! Just read the book! ;)
horrible teacher, not clear at all and moves to fast
Awful. Teaches directly from the publisher's powerpoint. Tests come from the publisher. Book cost 180 dollars and was brand new so it wasn't available used. He mentioned that the publisher's tests were hard to customize so i asked him: "why not make your own (multiple choice test)?" He told me that it was "too difficult." No effort.
great teacher! just wants students to do well. tests are OPEN TEXTBOOK and easy. weekly group questions are easy and help your grade. extremely nice guy who will help if you ask
this class was horrible. Nag has no freakin clue what he is doing. He passes the projects down from other professors and has no idea what to do for them. the tests are open note and questions are easy. Its an easy class but to avoid the strain of confusion i would reccomend never take this guy. Class time was a joke too. just sat on facebook
BORING! It is extremely hard to keep any focus in this class. He reads powerpoints word for word and then does a weird pause ting where he stares at everyone. He is awful at explaining things, don't bother asking him about the project, he makes it more confusing. Tests are open book but the rest of the classes are just ridiculous
Boring class and Nag doesn't do anything interesting. He just reads from ppt slides. Attendance is mandatory, but he sends around a sheet that he only checks after the semester, so... Not the most helpful in answering questions either. Dances around the answer. He's a very easy grader though
Tests are open note, you can even bring comp. to it if you want. The short answer part of test is from the Chapter questions so you want to do them.
Easiest class ever. Everything is open book, open note. I brought a book or magazine to class everyday to pass the time. Take him!
Class is cake. Open book, open notes, just be ready so you aren't looking everywhere. He is incredibly monotone and boring, but tries to cracks jokes. The material is just boring itself. Take him.
Class is extremely boring, like you will be falling asleep within minutes. But the rest of the class is ridiculously easy. Open book and open note test make up almost 75% of your grade. I went to class and it was hard to make it through them, but i could have skipped them all and still managed an A- even with losing 20 points for attendance.
I just want to point out that I got a B+ in this class and I have taken half of my degree through online classes. With that being said, this was by far the most stressful class ever. No grading rubrics for any of the assignments, the professor was never available and would not discuss grading via email, this was an online class! Avoid if possible.
Horrible, horrible class. Incredibly boring. I don't think I learned a single thing. 4 labs and 4 case studies, all of which are time consuming and confusing. He doesn't even know how to do them. Only professor for this class so good luck.
This class is AWFUL. Tests are no longer open book, open note like the syllabus says. It is EXTREMELY boring. Our entire class ignores him with our computers open. I feel bad for him because none of us pay attention, but it's impossible. Don't take this class with him!! I learned absolutely nothing!!!!
DO NOT TAKE. He is very unclear about what material actually matters and what will be on the test. He basically says "study all the terms", and gives us no direction. He talks in a monotone voice and no one really pays attention. If you ask a question, he gives a vague explanation. AVOID HIM!!!!! All i did was read the book the night before a test
Terrible class, learned nothing. Did all of the case studies while he "lectured." He is the only professor for this class. He is passionate about the topic, but terrible at communicating the ideas.
**MUST READ** if you are to take this teacher take his classes online! Only two tests and some weekly writing assignments. As well as two in book projects. FYI you have the internet.
2 Open note exams and the final. one easy excel project that he gives u the answers to and lets u attempt it 3 times. Transcribe the textbook and u should be good for the tests. Attendance is checked but he passes around a sheet so u could have a friend check ur name off as being there. Easy class. Lets u text and use computers on top of desk.
Very tough class. He does not make the assignments and important points clear in lecture. The textbook will be your best friend to pass because his exams are textbook oriented. The lectures will not help on the exams.
The lectures can get long but if you take good notes, you will pass with a good grade. I cannot believe people find him difficult - exams can be very specifi but they are all based on general ideas from notes on slides. He is a really nice guy and loves to tell stories and is very passionate about the topic. Sweet guy & not much work outside class
He is very nice. Class consists of: Team questions like every other week. These are straightforward questions completed with a group - very easy points! Two exams and a final - he allows cheat sheets. Tip: his exams are very specific use the book! Also a very easy excel project which you can submit multiple times and a discussion question thru BB.
I would definitely recommend this class online. There are online discussions that you have to put in a good hour or two each week which isn't that bad at all. There are some homework assignments . There are only two exams and two projects which he can help you with along the way. It is not a hard class to pass if you try.
I would only take nag online. His tests contain questions that literally could have come from anywhere on earth. I'm not sure where they come from, which is why you take it online- Google!. His discussions are not too bad, just make sure to write a lot of content. His 2 projects are VERY specific. he lets you resubmit em 2 times so take advantage.
Show up, write the book into a notebook and use that on the open note exam test. Easy excel project and simple team questions. Lectures are extremely boring, but it is fairly easy. Test questions are tricky
The lectures can get long and boring, but Professor Nag means well. He's tests are open book and open notes. There are no quizzes and there is group homework assignments for each week that are super easy. Easy A.
You can skip class and still pass this class. His lectures are long but I block him out. Attendance counts but you can skip and sign in later. There's an easy website project and everyone received a 100 on it. There are 3 test and they are all open notes. Just copy the powerpoint slides into a notebook and there will be no need to study.
I feel bad for the guy since everyone does not pay attention to him. He's a sweet old dude who wants to connect with his students. The second part of the tests are hard since you have to answer short answers. Getting a A- or a B+ should be easy since you have an open notes for the exams.
Gave absolutely no feedback during online classes. I got a 5/10 on a discussion, and he wouldn't even tell me why I didn't do well and told me to "work harder".
I would not recommend taking this professor due to a lack of organization and no focus on students understanding or success. He lectures to a room full of people who are on the computer or their phone because he has no enthusiasm or engagement. Also, his exams have nothing to do with his slides or what we talked about in class. Take someone else.
Dreadful professor. Unorganized, uncaring and uninteresting. He knows his stuff, without a doubt, but he cannot teach. Lets you bring in handwritten notes but tests are too difficult. Project are given without much guidance. Extremely boring lectures. I have learned nothing in his class. Please, if you have the chance, take it with someone else.
Took this online over the summer. Was extremely easy, the tests are based off the text. The SAP project can be a little confusing, just start early and take your time. If you have questions he can be little vague and not always helpful. But I would take him again.
Prof Nag does care, and wants to connect with his students. His style of teaching is ineffective at best. He reads off the powerpoints provided by the book and then relates the material to either Boeing or McDonalds. The tests are open notes, but you should just write in the whole book since material covered in class isn't on test. TAKE ONLINE!!!!
Professor Nag is a nice guy but a TERRIBLE professor. He told us the week of our exam to not use any notes or slides he showed in class and to only study the book, which we had never used. He also got angry with our class about attendance and changed his grading style two weeks before the end of the semester. His exams are also terribly difficult.
Project, two tests, Connect, and Discussions. Which is a lot but you can manage. Discussions are not clear-so i would write just to make it 200 words. Vague on project comments. Tests are Quizlet, and chegg questions. CHECk at the end of the year that all points are correct.
Awful awful awful professor. Nothing he says makes sense. Tough grader for no apparent reason. Takes off points for whatever reason he wants to. Doesn't answer emails. Do not take.
Prof. Nag was by far the most inadequate teacher at Towson U and no matter how many classes complain about him the school does nothing. Do not take hime, but if you must, take his classes online. A.V.O.I.D.
Project, two tests and Connect. He also gives discussion as a grade but because he forgot to assign it, he made it extra credit. Very interesting class, content was slightly tough at times. Discussion was a broad question, no right or wrong criteria. Professor Nag is super smart and helpful. Attendance is part of the grade so don't skip too much.
He is the worst teacher. He talks so slow and you cant get through the class without wanting to leave the room. DO NOT TAKE!!!
holy moly this guy is brutal. Just walked into first day of class and fell asleep 13 times. cannot believe my parents are paying for this junk. pick another teacher or keep this one if you dont get enough sleep at night.
I would highly recommend that you to sign up for any professor other than Professor Nag for online EBTM337. He is unorganized, gives vague instructions, and responds to emails days late. When I asked him a question about the instructions of an assignment, he responded in one sentence, essentially telling me to "figure it out".
Summer 22', Online synchronous | When emailing him, many times, he wouldn't answer your questions fully (or at all). Although he communicated w/ the class each week, he was not informative about expectations. Furthermore, his pre-recorded lectures were by no means helpful; his lectures were slow & overall hard for one to be attentive with.
Never been so frustrated with a professor. When you ask for help he is very vague and won't give clear answers to help any confusion. Teaching style is awful. He refuses to demonstrate quantitative concepts in class but will assign hard homework on it. You basically have to teach yourself, he would rather you read the text than him actually teach.
Bring a pillow to class, this guy is by far the most boring professor at Towson. Exaggerated pauses between sentences. Hardest thing about the class is staying awake.
Worst Professor at Towson University. I passed but literally horrendous. I wanted to die taking his class. You won't learn if you attend class but don't skip because, he'll say attendance isn't a grade the first day then make it one at the end of the semester. Deans' office had to get involved.
I do not ever write reviews about professors but please do not take a class with him. The lectures are so slow. He gave me 0/10 for a duplicate assignments that i asked for him to fix because i already completed them and was graded for them. He was rude and denied my request for god knows what reason. Please take any other professor you can.
Everyone is complaining about him in person. Here's a solutions. TAKE HIM ONLINE. All assignemnts and exams are on quizlet or chegg. One hard project but I just ate the 0. Hw you get 3 attempts. No zoom meetings. The old fart cares too much about his in person sections, so take his online for the easiest A of your life.
This is the most boring professor. His class does not have very much work, but weekly homework is impossible. Lectures are boring but takes attendance that will be part of your grade. He does not respond to emails and when you approach him during class, he often brushes you off. So boring, but all exams are online.
So rude and sarcastic. If you can take another professor, do it.
Knowledgable and fair amount of assignments
Took him for EBTM 456. Honest to God, worst professor ever. I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy. He would read the textbook to us, and when we asked for demonstrations, he didn't know what he was doing. Please don't go to his office hours or ask for help you'll be more confused. We reported him to the dean but they couldn't fire him.
I would not recommend anyone to take Professor Nag, just don't. He will mess up your grades and does not know how to use blackboard. You will have to argue with him for your earned grades to be corrected. The head of the department is aware of all of the issues and nothing has been done.
Honestly, lectures are very boring, but the assignments are easy—just connect and smartbook. There is one really easy computer project worth 20 points. Exams were on the backboard, with one multiple-choice and one written part. If you want to learn dont take this class but i think its an easy A. Hes not helpful with fixing grades at all no response
Boring lectures, 4 case studies due at the end of the month, graded easy and presentation. Exams were online but midterm was hard. Easy to get A or B, you wont learn anything such as solver. case studies are kind of hard using excel but i would take it again to pass, he tells us to call him not email but he does not pick up often
The professor's lectures can be dry, but using study tools like unstuckstudy and the free textbook helps make up for it. Attendance is mandatory, but the assignments are manageable if you stay on top of the material. Overall, a decent class if you're willing to put in the effort.
u won't learn anything, but this class is an easy A, exams are online, and a free study hall so shout out unc for that fr, got all my assignments done in this class🙏🏾 and he never counts attendance so if u wanna learn fr don't take him but if you just want the credit then this the class for you
Terrible at responding to emails. If you email her, her response will always be something that is extremely rude and not even helpful to the question that was asked. Always a snappy ignorant response for no reason. Does not help with anything.
He's honestly a fine professor. All exams are online, weekly homework that is pretty easy if you pay attention. Essentially he just lectures all class long and doesn't make you participate. Not my first choice as a professor but also not a bad choice, you'll pass for sure.
I really liked him until he screwed me over on a project. Gave me a zero on a project that only had a few errors, no partial credit or anything. Didn't really affect my grade because I am a scholar for those of you who don't know, but screw that. Such rude feedback too, like sir I am trying my best. Anyways not a fan anymore.
