Helped me out a lot. Understood everything he taught. Raised my grade to get me off probation. The nicest Prof ever.

I had this guy for Statics, and ended up with 100 in the class. He had a nice curve on all the exams too.

One of the best teachers at this school. Explains stuff and makes it very easy. He's an over all great guy and wants to see his students do well.

Take him for Statics, all tests are out of 120%, and directly from the homework. He teaches well and even organizes study sessions on his own time. He really cares that his students do well.

Dr. Alzahabi is the greatest!!!! We have quizzes every week and two tests during the term. If you are an excellent mind reader you'll know the chosen problem from the book. VERY ENTERTAINING!!:)

Great Prof. Gives a several quizzes throughout the term (drops the lowest) so you can pad your grade. All tests are out of 120%. Do the homework and you'll get them all right. It was a very easy class and I actually learned it.

He is a great teacher at this school. I would recommend him to everyone. The best is for tests and the final because there are a possible 120 points and he only takes it out of a 100. Also, quizzes are pretty easy. Just pay attention in class, and the class is cake.

Awesome prof. Very clear about the material and what you will be tested on. Willingly answers any questions. Weekly quizzes, but pay attention and they are cake. Watch out for the final, it isn't as easy as the rest of the class.

Wants his students to suceed. Allows you to have a notecard for quizzes and a piece of paper for tests with equations on it. Very helpful if you go see him after class with questions too.

Dr. Alzahabi is a scholar and most of all a world class educator. He sets the standard and should be the model for all professors to aspire to. His clarity and superb explanation of difficult material makes the learning experience fantanstic. Take a class with him, you will not regret it.

One of few professors that can actually be considered 'good'. Not only does he know his stuff, he is able to communicate it to the students very well. He teaches material strictly to what you will need for future courses and engineering, minus all the bull. Always willing to help, quizzes, literally, are taking from the homework. Just do your best.

Great prof, if all profs were this good, kettering would be cake. Highly reccomended. Goto study sessions before tests which are 120/100 (as is the final) and drops the two lowest quizzes. Material isn't easy but he teaches it extremely well. Hope I can get him for Mechanics 3.

Instructor really interested in how you are doing in his class. I talked to him several times about homework and he was always helpful and encouraging. Takes his class seriously, even at the lower levels.

Best professor I have had so far at kettering...very clear, always very helpful...gives 120 possible points on tests and only takes it out of 100. got over 100 on ALL of my tests and the quizzes aren't bad either. Anyone who puts some time into this class will understand everything about the material and get a 95+

I had him for my one required ME course. After having him, I would honestly become an ME to have him again. He's a great guy, a great teacher who explains everything well and is willing to help and explain furthur if necessary. By the end of the class I had learned a lot of interesting material (even though it didn't apply to my major).

Alzahabi was very enthusiastic about teaching and presented concepts multiple times in class, in different ways, until everyone understood. I never went to office hours, but heard he was always there and helpful. Quizzes/tests every week, not hard, sometimes a little tricky. But guess and you'll pass with partial credit. I reccommend.

Best teacher for all Mech classes, take him for as many classes as you can.

Alzahabi was awesome! He made the tests 120/100 so it was very easy to get above a 100% in the class. The quizzes were fairly easy if you remember to refer to examples and if you made a good flashcard to refer to during quiz time.

Very generous curve. No oddball questions on tests and quizes. Spends all of class giving example problems. I would recommend this professor.

Intro to Dynamics is pretty easy. You have a few tests, and a quiz every Thursday. As long as you do the homework (which isn't collected) you will do well. If you don't understand the material go to his office hours. He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed in his course. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I like Alzahabi so much I took two classes with him at once. His classes are no walk in the park, but he does everything he can to help his students be successful. Don't do the homework the night before it's due so you can ask him any questions. It is worth a large percentage of your grade. Tests are graded 120/100, and he drops the lowest one.

Professor Alzhabi is always there when you need him to be. He is clear and is always willing to go the extra mile for his students. Even years after, he is willing to make time to tutor you and help you out when needed.

Easiest class yet, got a hundred and didn't have to open my book. If youv'e taken Phys 1 Just stay awake in class and you'll get a 100. He also gives huge amounts of extra credit. Take ths professor if possible.

Extremely thorough professor, teaches and knows the material very well. Quizzes/tests were hard at first, but then he eased up and class was very enjoyable. You have to keep up on your stuff, but if you do, the class is a pleasure and you'll know the subject very well.

Alzahabi is one of the best profs I've had at Kettering, thus far. Extremely effective at communicating the material. He can be picky with his grading, but once you figure out how he grades you'll do fine. Grades his 120-point exams out of 100, allowing for some extra credit.

Great teacher for statics. He is very thorough when he does problems and obviously knows what hes talking about. His tests are quite harder than the homework so plan for that. Overall I would take him for any ME class hands down!

Alzahabi is a very good professor. He teaches well and he is responsive when you need help. Exams are difficult, so don't expect an easy A, but all-in-all his class is very reasonable. There was a minor curve in his class, don't expect anything significant.

Professor Alzahabi is by far one of the best professors that Kettering has to offer. His grading scale is more than fair, and he goes out of his way to make sure that everyone in the class understands the material. He is a must have professor for any student taking Mech 210.

One of the best professors at the school. Has a very clear grading policy and all the tests and quizzes are fair and you don't need to do all the homework assignments to do well either.

One of my favorite profs. Explains everything clear and gives lots of examples. The tests have 20 extra credit points on them which is super helpful. Willing to help you if you don't understand and will try to explain it in another way so that you do understand.

Phenomenal. Classes are casual: he constantly refers to the class as "my friends." Grading criteria are crystal clear. He goes the extra mile to make sure everyone's up to speed before moving on. Need help outside of class? No you don't, he's answered your questions in class, with a smile on his face. By far one of the best professors out there.

Statics is just repetition. Dr. Alzahabi gives you the opportunity for extra credit on Tests. He drops three quizzes. DO THE HOMEWORK!!! Statics requires practice. If you don't understand say so, he will try his best to explain it in a manner you can understand. If you aren't confident by 5th week, seek help. Statics builds on itself. PRACTICE!
