Fantastic instructor! Extremely Efficient with the notes she gives. She gives you EXACTLY what you need for the test, which is why you don't always have to use the book. Very funny too! Would definitely take more of her classes

Professor T is a wonderful human being, she really cares about her students. She is a wonderful teacher and explains everything so you can understand it. It is clear she enjoys teaching, she has a real passion for it. I even took a Saturday class (which I didn't want to do) so I could have her for my instructor again.

Had to re-take Psy 1010 (took first time with diff prof.) and was so glad on the first day of class. One of my favorite Professors. You will pass as long as you show up, take notes and participate and ask for help when needed. She is always available for discussion before and after class. She is very supportive of students.

Dr. T makes lectures fun and engaging by asking students to make correlations between the topic and their own experiences. Willing to work with you if you have issues, whether personal or academic. I have taken all my Psy classes with Professor Thakkar and received A's in all her classes. Not because she is so easy that you don't have to work, it's because she makes her lectures interesting and her test are on what she lectures. Very helpful and will answer any question you might have without making your feel stupid.

Very clear expectations, good communication, grades quickly. Must check your email because that is how assignments and grades are communicated. Doesn't use DB. Course consisted of 10 one-page essays, no exams, no DB. Can use older versions of textbook to save money. Highly recommend

Professor Thakkar is amazing. The assignments consist of one-page essays every week. As long as you do the assignments you will get an A. I also couldn't get the book the first week so she extended the due date for me so I could get it done. I would have Prof. Thakkar every semester if I had the choice. One of the best instructors I have ever had.

Professor Thakkar is wonderful. For the summer online course, there was a writing assignment each week worth 10 points, two of the weeks there were two assignments. Follow her guidelines on how much she expects you to write and you'll do great.

There are 10 assignments, each is a short-ish essay for the online class. Personally, I found her criteria for the essay and her information about the essay very vague. I was unsure as to what she expected. Great class for credit, not such a good online class if you actually want to learn something.

The course consisted of 10 one-paged essays and were 10 points each. As long as you do what the assignment asks of you, you should get full credit. Overall, it was an easy class and I would definitely recommend this professor to anyone who's looking for an easy class on an interesting subject.

Amazing, absolutely love her!

For the 8 week summer class we just had to write 10 one page essays on a topic from mostly different chapters from the textbook. The prompts were not very clear but she was an easy grader.

Absolutely loved taking this class. I recommend this teacher to everyone. I've had many friends take her class and they also loved it. Would 100% take again.

Professor T was the best teacher I have ever had. Super understanding and thoughtful and her teaching method was great. I honestly never needed to use the textbook ever. And when you asked questions she would always clarify.

She's a really sweet lady. Her lectures are good and basically all the information you need is in them. Don't bother buying the textbook. It's not needed at all. The only issue with her is that her instructions for the few assignments outside of class are vague. Honestly, if you try even a bit, she'll give you a decent grade.

Professor Thakkar is a great professor to have when you're taking a psychology class because she is very nice and wants all her students to pass the class. I enjoyed this class. We read one chapter of our book every week and had to write a one-page paper on it. We also had one research paper. The class was not too challenging if you did the work requires, the professor was not a hard grader and I typically got 100% if I followed to prompt. I did not learn much from this format but I enjoyed the class.

This class online, assignment at your own pace, reading chapters and answer the question asked in about 1.5- 2 pages summaries in pdf formats. He gives good feedback, he like students to succeed but prepare to read the course materials very well.1.5 to 2 pages answers weekly.Proffessor quickly let you know your scores at the beginning of new week

Professor Thakker is awesome!! Perfect class if your a full time working mom with multiple kids lol! The whole class is basically reading chapters and writing 2 papers a week on your own time, you get a week to complete! No tests! Very easy going! Ended the class with 100%!

This class is online, there is a lot of researching and writing, l think l like this class because researching and written paper gave a comprehensive knowledge of the course. No quizzes and no exams. But do the weekly assign research , readings and write out your papers . You are good for each week

I'm a psych major so this class was extremely easy for me. Professor Thakkar is very sweet. The entire course consists of writing one essay per week, easy A if you read the chapter and write your essay every week. I would personally prefer more interactions, but for a non-psych major, this is great. read, learn, write.

Only had weekly 1 page essays to do which was so nice! Make sure to stay on top of reading the chapter of the week as the essay question is directly from the corresponding book chapter and you'll definitely pass.

Best professor I've had so far. Lectures are great, she has the whole lecture memorized and elaborates frequently and helps students with spelling or any other questions. Study guides have exactly what to expect on the tests, and the notes are all the information you need. Totally recommend, 10/10 professor. Also very minimal homework.

She was amazing! Highly recommend if you are looking for a psychology class to take. Her instructions were clear and there wasn't too much work. She is a fairly quick grader and a very nice lady.

Homework is minimal; focus on taking good lecture notes (exams are based on them). No assigned readings you might skip the textbook but at your own risk. Attendance & participation are graded with lots of group collaboration. She's a fair & forgiving grader. Take any extra credit opportunities! Downside: grades are revealed only at semester's end.

Great professor, only graded by weekly essays from the textbook. the essays are only required to be at least one page. Recommend for anyone who isn't majoring in psychology and needs it as a prerequisite.
