Concise teacher, explains fairly well, but does not elaborate too much on her own (will if you ask). Tests with very few problems on them, but gives partial credit, so not bad. Accent that takes a little time to get used to. A good prof, but not overly easy.

She was an awesome teacher, willing to help, and tests were not terribly hard. If you study and do your homework, you'll do just fine.

One of the best professors at GC. This professor will go out of her way in and out of class to help you. Test are semi-difficult, but not to hard as long as you do your homework and pay attention. Accent is NOT a problem!!

She was easy and straight forward for Math 0099 but had her again for Calc 3 and it was incredibly difficult(Calc 3 is just a hard class). Overall, a great teacher would highly recommend.

"You know as Well?" Her Math 099 class was a breeze. I made an "A". But Beware! I took her again for PRE-CAL and she destroyed me! I dropped it in a hurry. If you are not familar with TRIGONOMETRY don't take her for Pre-Cal. Her Polish accent is sometimes hard to understand.

ooo she was so funny. you'll love her little sayings, and i was in love with her handwriting. she takes great notes in class and is open to any questions students have. her tests are easy, but i found her finaly crazy hard. i had no idea where that stuff came from. but i still got a B.

Her tests are very similar to problems solved in class and assigned for homework. She is available for help and will answer any question in class. Take her class only, if you are planning to study and do your homework. She is not a teacher for lazy students.

"You know as well" Get used to hearing it because that is her security phrase to help with her polish accent. Me and a friend counted her saying it 174 times in a 1 hour class. SERIOUSLY, it will drive you crazy!! Her class is pretty hard, pay attention and ignore the "you know as well"

She is a great person and a so-so teacher. Some things she taught well other things she did not do a good job on. If you didn't do well in 1111 do not take her. She is not as hard as some of these posts maker her out to be, but she is tough.if you are looking for an easy grade go else where.

Hard to understand at times with her Polish accent. She says "as well as" ALOT!!! Kinda annoying but she is VERY smart. Her tests are a little challenging but take alot of notes! One tough cookie!

I had this teacher for 0097 and 0099, I think it made it easier by being taught by the same teacher twice. She is very fair, you do the work (which isnt a LOT) and you get the grade you deserve. The thing I like most about her is that she does not treat her students like idiots when they have questions.

Mrs. Hebda is a awesome professor. She is very straight forward and laid back. If you study, you will do great on her test. She uses mathlab which I like because if you miss any class its a great way to catch up and even study for test. You only take four test and you do HW and quizzes on Mathlab. I like her a lot, I've took her twice for 97 and 99

I like her! Her english is a little hard to understand but if you really listen to her, it's not so bad. She cuts up some pretty funny jokes. She does math problems step by step so it is very easy to follow even if you cant understand what she is saying. She doesn't critisize you at all and is very helpful. She truely wants to TEACH students.

Awesome teacher. Teaches all material one should be responsible for. Tests are easy if you do homework and quizzes. She gives her tests in parts--half on one day, half the next day. Very interesting voice too.

Just do the homework she gives out, they are always odd problems so you can get all the answers out of the back of the book. She explains things very clearly and will focus on your needs if you have a question. Her tests are very easy if you've followed along and put in the effort required.

Teacher wise she was okay but I hated when she talked. My class was constantly getting in trouble so she would always focus on that. Never used the textbook at all unless you actually want to do the HW for study practice. I suggest not to buy it. Just do the hard copy HW. Also all her notes are online after the class.

Great Mathematician! Loves her job and is very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. She really cares about her students and is available to help. I loved this professor. At first she was hard to understand but you get used to her. She grows on ya. Very helpful and encourages you to do well and to show up. I really like Prof. Hebda. She is nice, and very easy to talk to. She makes a sincere effort to help you understand the material. She can get a little distracted and go on rabbit trails, though. You don't usually need your textbook in class, but she does give online assignments using it. I would definitely take her again!

Mr.Hebda is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. All of you have to do is attend her class and listen in class and you will do fine. She does assign Math Lab homework, which is online. Her tests are not hard, I find them easier than the homework. She does have a strong accent though, since she's from Poland. Strongly recommend her!

Professor Hebda is the funniest math teacher ever. Although her accent is thick, she tries her best to teach as thoroughly as possible. The only time you use the book is for the MyMathLab, and for "practice" homework which she never collects. She does not like sleepers or texters. The tests are multiple choice for the most part. If you do the weekly homework and actually understand how to solve each problem, youll have no problem with the tests. She dropped our lowest homework grade and replaced our lowest test grade with the final (if we scored better). Gives study guides. Very helpful during office hours. Textbook isn't necessary, only the online access code.

Prof. Hebda is great! You have to really be willing to put in the effort for an A. Weekly webassigns, 4 to 5 tests per semester. Straight forward test questions. Dr. Hebda was great. Her class was super organized. She ended up dropping the lowest discussion and homework grade + she'd replace your lowest test with the final. She always responded to our discussion posts and was super involved. She really wants you to understand. Each test we could have a page of notes and the final was open book.

Tests are based on homework and lectures. Teaches through PowerPoint. Homework is different from what she teaches??? She gives you the tests back and my advice is, KEEP THEM. Study them for the final test. They will help you a ton. Homework is a headache but do it to get a grade. Your calculator will be your best friend. So make sure to get one.
