she is a nice lady...hard to understand sometimes...ok class to take for a gen-ed...shows good movies occassionally...tests are ok...

I had her for Soc 200 in the spring and it was a great class. There was a lot of class discuss on social topic. A great and enlightening class. 200 didn't have to write as much.

This class was a breeze, all u had to do was attend, take two tests of which she allowed notes and groups, and write a paper on a book, plus she's foreign and hott as hell

Very helpful, class is a breeze.. attend is really all you have to do. There is no comprehensive final, just an open note exam on what was covered the last 4 weeks of class. Awesome.

Mrs. Wilson is a very nice and a good teacher. Yes, if you don't like to go to class then I recommend not taking her class. Otherwise, if you show up and do the work (quite easy) your almost guaranteed an "A."

I thought that she came off as a hard *** at first, but I really liked her class, and she softened up. Go to class, get an A.

Hard to understand

i loved this class. it was fun and interesting to me. she was verry nice about everything and the projects werent that hard.

she is one of the best teachers at western! go to calss and participate and you will get an A!

Very good teacher. Explains everything thoroughly and gives examples. Lectures are over exactly what is on the test. Go to class and you'll do fine.

She's really funny, and makes great jokes. Class is very easy and enjoyable.

Very good teacher. Got everyone involved. We watched a couple movies and as long as you participate, you'll be on her good side. You have to go to class, but I didn't even have to buy a book for the class.

She is a bit strange at times. I get confused when she speaks of herself in the third person but other than that she does a good job of getting the class involved on such topics.

Mrs. Wilson is a great teacher. Although her constant referring to herself in the 3rd person, I really enjoyed the class. She made it interesting and the class wasn't difficult as long as you attended and took good notes.

She is a very good teacher. She does take random attendence, but otherwise her exams follow the notes given in class. I would definitly recommend!

Wilson is very fair and makes class interesting, and ususally you get out about 15 min early. Her tests (of the two we took) are simple if you went to class, and one was open-note. Fory my class, you didn't have to take the final if you had an A. She is awesome!

Mrs. Wilson is a good professor. Very willing to help, gives plenty of oppurtunity to get points. Very nice. Casual attendance policy, rarely takes attendance.

Pretty good teacher. She knows her stuff. She uses a lot of facts during lecture but you don't need to know them. She has a ton of mini assignments and some assignments that I don't understand what they have to do with Soc. You never get out early, pretty boring, but you will get an A or B if you go to class.

Took this class for Gen ed and came out wanting more. A great teacher and very helpful, if you don't do well in her class its because you don't show up or ask for help. Always offering extra credit. Tests are easy too and at least one is open note. Best part, I didn't have to take the final because I was already getting an A.

She is an awsome teacher. I really enjoyed her class. She knows what she is talking about and as long as you come to class and are not late she has no problem. If you make her mad she will pick on you. So stay on her good side. She is very helpful though I asked her to help me pick out some classes for this year and she was amaizing. Great teacher

This class is awesome. She is fairly easy and will help if you don't understand. She doesn't take attedence all the time but does give a lot of inclass assignments that you usually work on with someone else.

Good class. Didn't use the book much, but you really had to go to class most of the time. All in all, I came out with little more than when I started. But it was easy. It's pretty much exactly like her 100 class.

soc 200 had her spring of 06 class was a easy A if u go to class everytime.. she has about a assigment a week, but they dont require to much thinking.. she is a good teacher.. and since i didnt miss to much class and did all my homework i didnt have to take the final... cant beat that.....

Fun and easy class for students who have never had sociology before. She does not put you down if you have the wrong answer. She is very helpful and willing to answer questions.

I dont know how anyone couldnt get and A. Even if you mis class a lot you can go to her office and she will give you all the stuff you missed and still give a grade for it. But really nice and laid back and easy tests and assignments. EASY A

She has an accent and can't pronounce some words, which is funny and cute. She lets you make things up, except quizzes. She is nice, but will not curve exams. Take her class, it's alright.

She's hilarious but kind of scary at first. She gives tons of extra credit as long as you show up and overall she's extremely nice. If you have an A going into the final you dont have to take it. Loved the class overall.

Excellent teacher. Very fun class if you're willing to participate and do some work. Gives plenty of extra credit, which is nice. She is also very willing to help students who need it, just visit her at O.H. I think Mrs. Wilson is an amazing teacher and I recommend taking her class. I learned a lot.

This class is really easy. You should get at least a B if you show up for every class and take notes.

Loved her! She was an awesome teacher, very nice in and outside of the class. The test are kind of hard but there is alot of other work and extra that you should have no problem getting an A. For our class she let everyone who already had a 95. grade not take the final, it was awesome! shes great, i would def. recommend her!

I took her Contemporary Social Problems class and LOVED it. She was really nice and answered questions. Her tests were mostly open note and sometimes with a buddy. The tests were on notes taken in class. Attendance not mandatory, but suggested. ALOT of chances for extra credit. I highly suggest this teacher and class.

She is a wonderful professor. Very insighful and it's obvious that she has a passion for sociology. She really helped me open my eyes to other viewpoints and I got a lot out of the subject. She is also very sweet and pretty funny! It's an easy A class too! I loved it. Pick Wilson as your professor!

she explains things well, the only test the whole semester is the final, and theres one paper, basically all you have to do to get a good grade is go to class to do the in class activities, rarely hw. if you dont like sociology you might not find her class super interesting but its pretty easy.

Interesting class! Show up to EVERY class because she gives out in-class assignments for credit! Most HW is extra credit. READ READ READ the book for the book report because that's half your grade. No test or quizzes except final. And if you get above a 97% you don't even have to take the final.

She is very passionate about material in her lectures. She really wants people to learn and make a difference in life. She made material interesting and fun at times. Spontanious quizzes on modest amounts of reading. Attend & do a little reading and you'll earn a good grade, I took so much more from this class than a grade & some credits.

Amazing teacher. I absolutely loved her and will keep on taking as many classes of hers as I can. Always willing to help, uses class time wisely, fun, doesn't bore you to death,...all in all, she's awesome :)

Test are so easy, sorry but if you struggle so bad in this class like the comment below mine, then WTF are you doing in college if you can't pass her class, Also she makes the class interesting I had her for Hr 15mins and it seemed like only 20 minutes in there! I had no interest in this class until the first week. She is the best professor I've ever had, by far the best teacher I've had!! Though, she doesn't just give A's out you have to work for it! I Liked her so much I'm taking another class of hers!

Very easy to follow course, though there is a decent amount of homework, its nothing you cant handle. She is very nice and informative about the course.

She is really cool to talk to but can be a little harsh on grading. Pay attention and interact in class and you will be fine. READ EVERYTHING!

She is an amazing professor! TAKE HER! She makes class so interesting! I took on sociology as a second major because she got me so interested in it! Little homework assignments a lot however, she is a VERY EASY grader! Grades based more on homework (which is usually just write up summary papers) than anything else. Midterm was SUPER easy! Easy A!

Literally the best professor I have this semester. My advice would to be to take this class! She is EXTREMELY nice and helpful. All work is easy as long as you pay attention to what she tells you in class and actually read the book. She looks for specific answers on everything but that is because she tells you step by step EXACTLY what she wants.

She's a very good teacher.Its not a typical lecture where the teacher talks but she gives you a chance to engage in the conversation. She gives alot of easy extra credit assignments.I have a 99.9% I highly recommend this class ? :)

She came off a little harsh but easy to get along with once you have talked with her. DOES give out homework and quizzes along with one written test and the final. Lots of extra credit though. Grading system is a bit weird but don't be intimidated by it. I really liked her once I got to know her. Also, pay attention and read!!

Good teacher who respects you if you respect her. She has a strong policy on cellphones in class so don't use them and put them on silent or else everyone in class will need to complete a project or take a surprise quiz! She has a great sense of humor though and tries very hard to relate with people who are college age.

Professor Wilson is very funny but the class is A LOT of work. There is almost always an assessment or assignment for every class. It is very interesting but you have to be willing to put a lot of effort in. Get on her good side and go visit her office hours. Read the book and take notes, she let's you use them on tests sometimes.

This was my favorite class this semester. I would definitely recommend taking her but only if you are willing to put in some effort. She used a lot of the textbook this semester but I heard next semester she isn't going to have actual textbook requirements. The reason I am switching majors.

The class gave me a different outlook on life & the government. She gives random quizzes sometimes, lets you make up work. The class itself is very interesting & Williams is a greatttt teacher .

She cares about the students a lot. Always gives out extra credit opportunities. No PowerPoint notes she just talks. Sometimes writes on chalk board. The books are needed. Homework is easy and most are readings from the book. Major assignment is the book review, its worth 100 points.

I really enjoyed her class. It was definently a lot of reading and outside work, but I learned a lot. She gave fair grades and acknowledged people who worked hard. She gave lots of opportunities for points. There was a lot of reading and quizzes but she usually went over all the material in class so there werent surprises.

She isn't bad, if you engage in her lectures you will do fine. Have decent amount of homework but most you can do in class. She drops your lowest scores. Overall if you go to class and read the chapters you get a good grade.

Professor Wilson may come off as harsh when you first meet her but she really is a sweetheart. It's a lot of in-class assignments so we barely had any homework and the homework was super easy. I enjoyed the lectures because she always related the work to our personal lives which helped us understand the terms. Definitely would take it again
