Great professor - Beginning Chemistry

Becki is AMAZING! She goes above and beyond the call of duty for her students! I loved having her for Chemistry and only wish she taught all the rest of my science courses!

WOW! She is the very best! I have never met a better professor in my life. She explains all concepts with great clarity, and takes the time to get to know every student in her class personally.

She is the best Chemistry professor in Dallas. She is excited about her subject and anxious to teach her students. She is always willing to offer 1-on-1 time. Her style of teaching is fun and understandable. Take her or you'll miss out on a great teacher!

Mrs. Williams is an excelent prof. When people do not understand something, she sends other students to help them and sends THOSE students to teach others, etc("teaching is the best way to learn"). She is entertaining but disciplined when she needs to be. Tells funny stories.

This teacher is great. I did not pass her class but it was not her fault. She really tries to work with every student and she gives extra credit. Her test are a bit hard but she is awesome. Science is just my wekness and I was my own worst enemy in the class. She really goes the extra mile.

Mrs. Williams is totally an awesome instructor. She is very experienced, caring, passionate, helpful, creative, and understanding. Her classes were the BEST courses I've ever taken. She is the reason I learned and like chemistry. By the way, to a previous reviewer who mentioned that she recently lost her son, that is NOT true. Her son is alive!

Ms. Williams is one of THE best teachers at Richland College. She wants all of her students to work hard and learn chemistry. She is completly available to help you when you need help/clarification. Read the material, do the suggested problems, work the practice problems for the test and you will succeed in her class. She is the best bet for CHEM!!

I loved Mrs. Williams- she is willing to go the extra mile. We did end up behind at the end of the semester because a lot of class time was spent making sure everyone learned the material. That put some of the faster learners at a disadvantage. But, she is one of the nicest, most patient teachers I have ever had. Lots of great handouts!

Becki is awesome!!! She shows passion about Chemistry and with much patience explains concepts with clarity. Her office door was always open for help and tutoring. She even took the time to learn all 60 students name in the class. I can't wait to take her for Chem 1411.

Very helpful. Very enthusiastic about chemistry. She really tries to get everyone to learn. She tries very hard to be fair to students. Doesn't go overboard with homework, but gives a fair amount. I'm not saying chemistry is easy, but I can't imagine another teacher making it any easier than she does.

She explains things in almost patronizing detail. If you can't do well in this class, you're most likely not truly listening (or reading), simple as that. Taking her class has taught me so many things, chief among them how to be a good student and how to actually understand! I'd been dreading taking this class, and I seriously love chemistry now.

Ms. Becki is the single greatest teacher or professor i have ever had since pre-K. She teaches very clearly and lets you know exactly what to study for in order to do well on the tests. If you're struggeling with any part of the class, just tell her and she WILL get you through it. AWESOME!

I took the class in summer 1. The pace does require you to keep attending class. I paid attention in class and almost never studied more than 10-15 minutes for any of her tests and passed the class with A+! You just have to be ready to do the work. The textbook is very low use. Her methods are extremely friendly and helpful.

This is the ONLY teacher to take for Chemistry! Oh my goodness, she makes it SO easy to do and will bend over backwards to help you! Practice exams are JUST like the tests. DO NOT take anyone else. I never understood chemistry before her; just fantastic!!

Reading the below comments honestly upsets me. 4 tests and the final replaces your lowest test grade. Attendance is mandatory but, what ELSE would you expect. Professor Williams is an amazing Chemistry professor! She gives her students very single opportunities to learn in Chemistry. She gives clear direction and understandable explanation. Especially, her mathematical methods do make sense to solve word problems!! She is always willing to assist her students who want to learn.

She is very helpful, and truly cares about her students learning. Yes, she is not easy because she wants you to truly learn chemistry. Her test are very thorough and comprehensive, but you shouldn't worry if you know the subject matter. Textbook wasn't used too much, but very helpful if you read chapters beforehand.

This is the second semester that I have had Professor Williams as my Chemistry Professor. She is AMAZING! She is always willing to help her students learn Chemistry. Take advantage of Study Session on Tuesdays! Do what she tells you to do in class will be very helpful to become a successful Chemistry student and earn an A in her class!

Becki Williams is by far the absolute best professor I have ever had. She loves her profession and is a very good teacher. She is willing to work with you. Former to this class, I had zero experience in Chemistry. She made my first experience great. SHe definitely makes you work for it, though! Thank you Professor Williams!

Amazing teacher! I took 1411 and 1412 with her. Kind of disappointed when she doesn't teach organic. Study and understand concepts, pay attention, read book and practice, review sample tests well and you're fine. Not regret !!

Mrs. Williams is by far one of the best instructors I have ever had. She's very helpful and truly wants her students to succeed. Attendance in lecture is absolutely necessary to do well. Her tests are mostly short answer, but she prepares you well. This class wasn't easy, but do all the work she assigns, and you will do well in this class.

Professor Williams is a seasoned teacher who knows how to motivate her students. She was always prepared and as long as you took the course serious, she takes you serious and will go above and beyond to help you succeed.

I took professor Becki for both Chemistry 1405 and 1411 and if she taught 1412 I'd take it with her to. Her tests are open answer but does give partial credit and motivates you all the way through the semester! I am grateful to have been a student of hers and was beyond expressed by her way of teaching chemistry!

In my opinion, there is nothing better than a teacher who is truly passionate about what they teach. Professor Becki is definitely one of those teachers who stands above the rest. She knows her stuff, and she does an excellent job of taking time to explain things in a way for everyone to understand. She never leaves a student behind. She is great!

Becki is easily one of the best professors in the Science department. She tries her hardest to help every student succeed in her class and it's pretty easy to receive at least a B in her course. She has her own system for teaching students, so you won't need a textbook for this class and she's always positive and cheerful.

I previously took Becki's CHEM1405 course, and now I'm taking her for CHEM1411. I had an amazing time with 1405 and her expertise and support carried over in 1411 as well. Prof Williams is a great teacher who will never make you feel dumb for asking questions because she wants everyone to succeed. If she was teaching 1412, I'd take that class too!

First of all, I hated Chemistry before Becki but she turned everything around and made me fall in love with it! She's very supportive and helpful. Truly cares about students understanding the material vs getting 100s. She's not only a prof but an advisor as she truly will give you guidance like you are her child if you ask it from her. Love her!

I was stressing about taking the class. Her love and passion for the subject really turned it around and I ended up loving the class. She's very supportive and helpful. She takes the time to make sure you understand the lectures, homework, even test questions- after the test. She's fair and by far one the best professors out there. Take the class.

I would say she is the best chemistry professor ever. She gave us a lot of tricks to remember all of staff. It very helpful. She turned the tough staffs to be easy. We had 3 test + 1 final test. They weren't too hard if you come to the class and do homework. All homework she gave, it was very helpful. Plus, extra credit will help you to get A.

She was/is WONDERFUL. I just finished her class and it was super easy. Just do the work she assigns to you. I am serious, I will take her again for chem 1411. She tutored me for my other class (dosage calculation) and I made a 97. She is clear and cut and offers plenty of practice and study guides to help you make an A. I am telling ya'll..........

I hated chemistry before taking Professor Williams class. She loves her job and it shows. She makes complicated and dense material seem easy if you pay attention, ask questions and do the homework. What sets her apart is her love of chemistry and her passion for teaching. Highly recommend this professor!!!

SHE IS AMAZING!!! I have never had a teacher that cares as much as she did! I took her in the Spring and never wondered were I was in the class. She always was willing to help. She would meet me on the weekend if I had any questions. She made me confident going into the nursing program!
