Information is a little difficult to understand but she presents it in a fun way. Class is never boring, she makes it interesting. Goes over information quickly.

Was a little worried coming into this stats class but she makes it easy and fun to go to class. I was never very good at math but so far i've gotten an A on each test. Allowed to use a notecard and her test study guides tell you everything you need to know.

She is an awesome prof! Really cares about her students doing well in the class. The notes you take are easy because she gives you outlines and then you just fill them in along with her during class. Also you get to use a full sheet of paper with examples on it for every exam. As long as you put forth a little effort, it should be an easy A

Great Prof! I'm not a math person at all, but she makes it easy. Class is always interesting and easy to understand. Take her if possible , put in a little effort, and an A should be possible.

I hate math and number but she was an awesome prof...classes were simple, and little outside work was necessary (not to mention I never opened my book). She gives you a huge cheat sheet for the exams and final. Def recommended.

Becky is a wonderful professor! I hate math and was dreading this class but she made it very easy to understand. Make sure you do the homework and study the old review tests because the tests she gives out are very similar to the old tests. I took her during the summer semester and we always got out early. We had a few assignments from the book.

One of the best professors I've had at GV! She's super clear with notes and grading expectations. Don't buy the book. Don't try to act cute in class because she hates it and you can tell. I would take her again!

Great Prof. All of the notes are detailed handouts which you are responsible for printing off and bringing to class. She makes sure everyone understands the material. Allows you to use a full page cheat sheet on exams (front and back).

Overall, the class was not too hard but she goes through the notes really fast and you have to keep up. Go to her office hours and get to know her! 1 exquam, 2 exams, and a final. All very straightforward and really not hard if you can understand the concepts! She was a nice lady with a sarcastic dry sense of humor.

Really good professor, clear with her expectations and funny. She made statistics quite easy to understand, and the exams weren't too bad. You're allowed a two-sided cheat sheet for all 3 exams, which was nice.

I absolutely love Bergakker. Very organized and knows what shes talking about. And you can tell she wants her students to do well. She was a breath of fresh air and I wish she could be my prof for every class! Definitely take her if you have the opportunity!

Becky is an awesome professor by far my favorite so far at GVSU! She was witty and laughed at her own jokes but it made class a lighter environment. 1 exquam, 2 exams and final you get a cheat sheet except for the first one. I like math but never been great at it I mostly am a B+ student and I got an A studied about 15 hours the whole semester!

She is awesome! Shows funny videos to begin every class and gives you notes that are extremely clear and easy to understand. Quizzes and exams are exactly what we took in the notes. Overall great professor.

She'll tell you that straight up so you can return it. Come to class because there are quizzes about once a week.

Professor Bergakker is awesome! She made stats really easy to understand with fill in the blank notes. I took this class as an SLA and I think that helped too. I would take her again for another stats class! She starts out every class with a funny clip from the internet and is always helpful! DO NOT BUY THE BOOK, complete waste of money

Bergakker is extremely organized & it makes the entire course very easy. Attendance isn't mandatory but she fills out chapter handouts that correspond with the homework and quizzes on BB so you need to go to class. SPSS projects are done in class & you also get a full page "cheat" sheet on the exams. If you struggle with statistics. take Bergakker!

Becky made stats doable I highly recommend her. She is very organized and you dont need to buy the book because she provides everything you will need! She will give you handouts and you fill in the blanks during lecture and study from those. Very clear and awesome! Take it with her!!!

Honestly one of the best Stat professors at GVSU, scratch that THE BEST! I grantee you that if you take stats with her you will not get below a B. However, you have to understand basic concepts of Algebra or this class can be a bit confusing (from what I've seen for people who don't understand it).

Professor Bergakker really knows her stuff and is good at teaching Statistics. I had little background knowledge in the topic, but the way she explains things makes them very understandable.

Love her! She's a fun professor, and a great teacher. I learned easily from her, and her criteria for grading is clear. Tests are the majority of your grade, and you get a full peice of paper to bring to every exam with any information you want on it. I would most definitely recomend her.

Professor Bergakker is one of the best professors i've had at GV! I was nervous for this class but she made it simple. Her notes are very clear, and easy to follow. You get to use a sheet of notes on each exam and the final! Homework and quizzes all online and homework has unlimited attempts! Highly recommend everyone at GV to TAKE HER CLASS!

She is my favorite professor so far. She makes each class enjoyable. She makes notes that you fill in each class, which make learning each concept much easier. If you are willing to work she will do everything in her power to help you get the grade you want.

Great teacher. You have 1 homework assignment and quiz due each week, they're pretty easy and go along with the lecture notes. You have 3 or 4 tests which are also easy and she lets you have a 8x11 cheat sheet.

Homework, quiz and project due every week through blackboard. Seems like a lot but really helps you understand the material. Shes willing to help you outside of class if needed and really wants you to be successful.

Great Professor! Took 8am class, worth it! Assigns 1 HW, quiz, and small project per week. She allows you to have a 8''x11'' cheat sheet. On days I missed class i would watch her youtube videos that are on the EXACT notes you take in class. If you take advantage of the resources she gives you there's no way you should get anything less than a B.

I took this over the summer. It was all online except for the exam days. Prof is very organized and has great video lectures. She kinda acts like a mom and says she makes it organized because she is worried we wouldn't understand something. Class is clear in what is expected. Don't buy the book, you don't need it.

She is the absolute BEST! She makes an 8am worth it. All of her notes are fill in the blank and you get a full piece of paper for a cheat sheet front and back for all the exams. There are 3 exams and a final, plus 1 homework and quiz a week. Super easy courseload and she is so good at explaining everything. She will tell you not to buy the book

She is the best, gives ample opportunities for you to succeed (extra credit and drops assignments). Im in the hybrid class, and everything is right in front of you to pass with and A no doubt.

Everything is online for the hybrid class except for exam days. She is very organized and has useful video lectures. Grading and work criteria are clear and are the same every week which is helpful.

Prof is super sweet and passionate about the topic. I did the hybrid, only had to show up for exams. She puts the entire semester up so you can crack it all out and just study when tests come up. STA is confusing and at times frustrating, but her lecture videos are great and she is always there to answer emails. 10/10 would recommend!

Favorite class this semester! I took as a hybrid & was skeptical but her videos made it very clear & we only had to show up for the 3 exams. Drops quizzes/homework and projects, allows cheat sheet for each exam. She had everything all laid out for you. Best prof I have had at GV organization wise and one of the best overall. 10/10 would recommend.

Easily my fav prof at GV so far. Very kind and easy-going, gives detailed lectures with guided notes and you dont need the textbook. Tests are easy and she allows an 8.5x11" cheat sheet that you can write on both sides of for each test. Material is all connected between chapters and she does a great job of explaining it. SPSS projects are easy too.

She is one of my favorite profs! She drops a lot of grades & offers a lot of extra credit. I had her in person class & she gives clear notes that are beneficial on the homework. She is very fair & good as what she does. During the covid situation she sent us personal videos. She cares a lot!

I was incredibly nervous to take an online class that had anything to do with math, but this course is incredibly organized and easy to handle! She totally sets you up for success. Most organized class I've ever taken so if you need structure you will do well in this course! Don't let the math worry you either it is not bad at all.

I think that If I had tried harder, It would have been an easy A. I wasn't focused enough and my first semester of college during COVID was tough. She is a very caring teacher that also expects you to be responsible for your own work. I think the biggest thing I have trouble with is that the percentages represent the grade, not the points,so 4/5...

Just get through each week one sitting at a time and take the practice exams!!!! The practice exams are soooo helpful for the real exams. Had it asynchronous so never really met the prof except for the office hours. Good prof who organized the class very well.

I'm AWFUL at math yet, I was able to pass this class relatively well. Professor Bergakker is really nice and wants to get to know her students as well as she can! The workload is not heavy and the exams are very straightforward! I wouldn't have wanted anyone else for a math class!

Makes stats tolerable and easy to navigate. As a non-math person she made the class easy to understand and I didn't dread it. 3 exams, non cumulative. No textbook.

Taking Stats 215 with Becky is the best option. Her lectures were prerecorded and it easy to navigate. Her homework was in a quiz format and allowed multiple attempts! How she has everything laid out on blackboard is nice too. I recommend taking a class with her, especially Stats 215!

So Easy! I hate stats and ended with a 98%. Drops 5 lowest quiz/HW, and 3 SPSS projects. SPSS is so easy and she shows you each week how to do it. Spend time with the videos to understand the material. Quizlet will be your friend for HW and quizzes. If you get below a B that's honestly on you because it's soo easy

I took this as an asynchronous course and I have never had an online course be so well-organized. She is more than willing to explain things to you either during office hours or email. Great professor! Her online course was extremely well organized - week to week you know exactly whats expected and she provided explicit notes walking you through every new concept. You get a cheat sheet during exams which also helps immensely. She is always accessible and offers a lot of feedback and opportunity to connect.

Theres a fair amount of homework but she is very good at explaining and helping students out. She drops a lot of your lowest grades and there's no cumulative final. There's also lots of extra credit opportunities and she is easy to reach outside of class.

I had this class asynchronously so I didn't interact with the professor much, but she was easy to understand in the lecture videos and a very fair grader. Each week there is an assignment, quiz, and project, and you can usually get them done within a couple of hours at most. There are three exams but they're simple and easy to study for.

I took AP stats in high school (obvi didnt pass the exam) but this class was seriously the easiest class I have taken at GV and I SUCK at math. You had a week to do the assignments and she dropped some of the lowest grades for each type of assignment. I didnt watch any of the lectures and I finished with an A-.

Only three exams through a lockdown browser. She posts practice tests that are almost identical to the actual exams so they're pretty easy. She's also very accessible.

TAKE HER CLASS!! The way Professor Bergakker has this class set up, you are made to succeed. She provides guided notes that you fill in and the lecture videos are broken up within those notes. You get a cheat sheet for the exams and she provides practice exams and old exams from previous years. She is also super kind and communicative :)

I took stats in high school but this was much easier. The way the class is set up is amazing but at the same time, the guided notes did not go with the guided notes. Exams were based on the assignments and sometimes were the same questions. One of the easiest math classes.

She is a great teacher of hard subject matter. Math is not my strong suit. The quizzes and homework questions are often similar to the ones on the exam. My only real complaint is having to use respondus for the exams but other than that this is a great class. Reach out to her and she is always willing to help out with any questions you have.

Professor Bergakker was an amazing professor to have for stats. I took her class online, and I still learned so much. The online lectures she posts make it very easy to learn the content. She is also a very fair grader and the amount of work she assigns is very reasonable. She also posts practice exams that mirror the actual exam which helps.

I personally loved Bergakker! Her lectures were so straight forward and the assignments are incredibly easy if you take notes. There are 3 assignments a week, but they are not difficult at all. She has a wonderful personality and really cares if you need assistance. I crammed the weekly assignments in one day each week and had very little trouble.

Prof Bergakker is the best for STA 215! There are 3 things to do per week. One HW (unlimited attempts), a 5 pt quiz and an R project. Usually takes me less than 1-2 hours per week. Drops 2 of the R projects, as well as several other quizzes/HW. Also offers 10pts extra credit. She posts practice tests that are very similar to the real one. Easy A!

Very helpful and quick to respond if you have a question. She does weekly lecture videos, HW, R-projects, and quizzes - which are all easily done in a day. The exams are also not hard. As long as you are keeping up-to-date with the material, do the TWO practice exams she gives you for each exam, you're coming out with an A. Great professor.

100% the best professor for stats 215. I was majorly dreading taking this class, but Prof Bergakker was so nice and explained things so well that I ended up actually kind of enjoying doing stats. Exams were pretty tough and had tons of regulations (lockdown browser, showing ID, etc), but you get a formula sheet so it's not really that bad.

Since this an a online course it was really homework heavy. She had really good videos explaining all of the work though. the projects and everything was very clear and she drops several of the lowest grades at the end of the semester.
