He's an excellent math/algebra professor who's very clear and helpful. He makes math easy and interesting.
Dr. Teclezghi is a dedicated professor. He really goes out of his way to help his students.

The best teacher this department has. Very clear, always trere for students. Helps even with other classes if you need it.
Very good teacher. He is a tough one, but he's fair and clear. So far, he's the best prof I've had in the math dept.
Anyone who can make calculus seem almost easy is a wonderful professor.
I love the way he teaches i get everything he says because he is a helpful teacher....unlike most teachers he makes clear as clear can be and he is cool in his own teacher/serious sort of way.....
I HATE HIM!!!!!!!!!
Hard to understand! Horrible Horrible Horrible
i was able to understand what was being taught. his quizzes and tests were easy. what i've learned in his class has gotten me prepared for my calculus class. if you enjoy math, this is the professor to have.
The first day of class to my suprise the prof. that was suppose to instructor was not there. I heard this instructor was an easy B. Since Math has been a pain in my backside I just wanted to drop the summer class. I keep with it and pass with a C+.
Dr. Teclezghi is an accomplished professor. He is very thorough with his presentation of material and is always available when help is needed. He is an asset to NJCU
He's a great teacher if you are not strong in math. I thought he was an excellent teacher and had a lot of patience with his class.
Unless you already know everything the class covers, do yourself a favor and take someone else!!!!!
I took him for summer I and he is a very good teacher. I am a little weak in math but he helped me enough to pass w/ a C+.
dont take him!!!!!!!!!! give yourself a favor, no good
Great and knowledgable professor. He makes students work and learn
I heard several rumors before registering for this class which I found out that they were from people who wouldn't like to learn. i learned more in this class than in any math class I took at NJCU. He is always caring for his students and he knows the subject in and ou. I wish the department had mor
This teacher expects you to learn the material, and if you listen and apply yourself, you will. There is no room for the lazy and shiftless in his class. At NJCU, that is very rare.
Do not take any class taught by him. Find another professor who is teaching the same course or wait until next semester. He is one of the worst teachers at NJCU. His textbooks are the worst. You won't learn much in his class.
No good. Do not take him. Enough said.
Do not take any math course with this guy. He is terrible. He thinks himself very smart but do not know how to teach. Horrible. Really bad.
I took Intemidate Algebra with this professor this semster and learned a lot from this professor. He expects you to learn the material well. I recommend him for any one who wantes to lear math.
He is the best professor. I learned a lot from him.
I took three courses with Dr. Teclezghi. He is by far the best professor in the department of mathematics at NJCU. I enjoyed his class. If you need to learn math take him. He teaching is very detailed. He always starts and finishes class on time which is rare for prfoessors ain the math department.
If you are looking to learn, then Dr. Teclezghi is the teacher for you. He is not someone who will give out an "easy A" at all, but if you're willing to do the work and want to actually learn the material, you will do fine in the class. Definitly an asset to NJCU.
He is a good teacher and very nice & calm..he doesnt get mad like other professors. But his class is very hard and you must be prepared to work. Fair grader and will meet with students at any time to give them extra help. He is always at school so you can catch almost always.
Great Professor! Teaches really well...
He makes very difficult material so easy and interesting. This is a professor I will recommend to my friends.
mubbles and doesn't speak english clearly, yet he teaches math. i'm not sure.
REally good. Answered all questions and prepared you very well for his final!!!!
try speak each word at a time
the two tests were difficult to complete accurately in under an hour, though surprisingly they were exactly the feature questions used during class lessons on the chalkboard. the final test was challenging, but was pleasantly surprised to receive a fair grade! you must be patient and take good notes to pass this class.
This Professor has personal issues! Evidently problems that he brings into the classroom. Very self conscious and too sensitive to be a professional. He does not speak English well at all and yet gets angry when you don't understand him. The worst experience in my school career - certainly not good for those who don't already KNOW mathematics!!!
He is not a good instructror. He gives lousy grades and lots of homework.
is this guy for real? u cant understand a word he says, hes mean and he constantly makes errors while doing problems on the board...my class was always pointing them out to him
He Sucks, in plain english. He also likes to point out your short comings to the entire class. So if you are into humilation, this is the guy to take
He is very bad professor. Actually u never can call him a professor. He doesn’t care if u understand or no. He just wants to finish what he planed to. He is so tuff. Never give enough examples. He always makes u feel that u r a stupid one and u should understand from the first time. He always thinks that he is the smartest one on the world.
He's not one of those professors that will actually take the time to learn your name or anything like that, but he's good at making things simple. Tests are not difficult if you do his homework and he does make sure not to move on to the next subject if you still don't understand the previous one.
He is a good professor, just take all his notes on the board because they will be on the test and do the HW too. You'll see that everything would be fine.
HE IS ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS I HAD .IF YOU REALLY WANT TO LEARN MATH THAN TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM.IF YOU RE THERE JUST FOR SOME GRADE WITHOUT LEARING THAN YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO
No Comments
He is the best!D his class is very hard but if you want to learn this is the rught proffessor.
Even though the class is difficult I am learning a lot from this class. He is always answers evey question students ask. Any one who wants to learn mathemetics should take his class.
He may not be the friendliest teacher ever, but if U want to learn take his class. he knows his stuff. Just don't talk during class. . . :)
terrible! i love math i took this class with him and i hated it and he was a bad teacher. I dropped his class and took the same class with another teacher and got 96. DO NOT TAKE HIM he does not explain anything
He's a good professor, and is also helpful at times. However, if ur not good in math, don't take him. He goes at an extremely fast pace. he should be teaching honors math courses and not regular math courses.
I took this Professor and had to drop the class. I sent him a couple of emails because I needed help he did not even respond. He goes real fast and shows only one example and he expects you to get it on the first one.
Hard professor, but knows he's math good. He expects a lot and moves fast. Have to ask questions if you want him to explain anything.
HE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR IN MATH DEPARTEMENT AND IN NJCU ALSO. HE IS A FAIR PROFESSOR, CLEAR AND WILLING TO HELP ALL THE TIME.
I learned much more in this class than in any other course combined. He is always willing to answer any question. He doesn't like to give free grades. He makes every one work hard. I enjoyed this class
He is a greate professor. He is always prepared. He answers all questions. I have learned a lot in this class
This professor was horrible! Bad attitude, overly sensitive and does not like his job! Unless you already know the math well, do NOT take this professor!!!
he's not an easy teacher but very helpfull try to pay attention and u will pass
He's a little standoffish, but not a bad guy. He made a joke once or twice. He customized the textbook and it was a lot cheaper as a result. He does move fast, and he has a tricky accent. By the end of the semester, all 3 of the other kids in the class were coming to me for tutoring rather than seeing him. Take that for what you will.
I love him. As long as you take his notes you'll be fine. His test aren't hard but they cover everything you did. I've taken him twice and I'll be takin him next semester as well. He's a lil hard to understand, but he writes everything on the board :)
This class, was very challenging for me and a lot of times I resented him for making us work so hard and for him wanting to cover all the material in the book. However it was the hard work in this class that helped me get a solid B in intermediate algebra. He's hard, and not very friendly but, he's a very good professor. I succeded in math thanks
I do not reccommend this professor at all. He is very sarcastic and not helpful at all. I attempt many times to receive help from him and his response was " I have no time, go see a tutor". What type of attitude is that?? To top it off you can barely understanding what he is saying. He does not like questions and I would NOT recommend this professo
STAY AWAY! Only take him if you can teach yourself. HE TEACHES AT LIGHT SPEED and you will not be able to keep up with him unless you already know Calculus. He doesn't realize it is PRE! Calculus. He has HARD pop quizzes, 1 a week, 3 problems. And Tests are also VERY Hard and are only 8 questions. He will NOT help you. There are way better options.
Not clear about subject too fast. but nows his subject
He covers the material in extremely fast pace, not giving students a chance to keep up with him. If u take notes, u won't be able to pay attention to the lesson. Furthermore, he's arrogant, raises his voice and point fingers in a threatening way, as if trying to intimidate students. As he puts it, he does not care whether students do well or fail.
I took him for algebra for college. He is hard, and covers a lot of material in class; However, he is a really good professor, you learn in his class and he prepares you for the next level class. The reason why I did so well in intermediate algebra was because of how he prepared me in algebra for college. Though i resented him for all the hard w
He is the only professor in the department who finishes the material in his syllabus. He prepared me well for my next course. Even though I didn't get an A I know that I gained a lot from that coures. That will make me ready for teaching others.
AT first I was intimidated by what I heard about him from students. After taking his class, I can tell you that he knows his subject and he does not give free grades. You have to earn your grades and that is what made me happy, I earned my grades. He is always prepared and always willing to answer any question from students. If I have another chance
He is extremely fast paced and doesn't slow down. He puts an example on the board and makes many mistakes, but expects you to learn anyway. He also has a heavy accent and is hard to understand. Don't take him. (P.S. I got an "A" in his class and I still hate him)
He is the best. it is my firwt semester at the university and he made me love math. He is funny and cares for his students.
Excellent professor. Yeah, he's a bit demanding, but that's understandable since math or "science" courses are treated as a joke at this college. If you want to sit back and flowery words by some pretentious professor, I suggest you take an art course at NJCU. That department has plenty of them.
he is the meanest guy ever and calls his students dumb...dont take him...he will make you feel like you are an idiot
do your self the favor and avoid him if you're a math or science major. i learned the hard way don't let it happen to you
couldnt stand him. he can barely speak clear english. he flew through the chapters, the quizzes were ridiculous. i worked SO HARD in that class and even got tutoring. i begged for help n extra credit, but that didnt help either. i withdrew from his class before i could screw up my gpa. dont take him.
This man is a joke. He should not be in a classroom setting. He is disrespectful, degrading, uncaring, and most of all self centered. Avoid him at all costs, only reason why I got an A is because I took this course over again. Too bad he is a 10 yr Ass. Prof.
I am so glad I took precalculus with him. I am taking Calculus now and I am using every thing I learmed in precalc. Yes I had to work hard in precalc and the hard work is helping me now. I appreciate his dedication for teaching and not for making students happy by giving them free grades. I wish he was teaching calculus.
This is a good teacher. He really knows his material. He's more tricky than difficult. He basically goes over step-by-step what kind of problems to expect on tests. Has an accent but it's bearable...but that's probably why he sometimes talks a little too fast. Got an A cuz I'm that nasty.
best teacher ever
He explains the subject clearly. He answers all questions we have before going to a new material. I am enjoying this class
If you just graduated highschool and passed algebra when you were there then taking this class will not hurt you. If you are like me and have not taken an algebra class in over 4 years then do not take him. He sucks. Waste of time and money. Also, he talks to his students as if were we 10. avoid if you can.
using unsuccsessful method teaching Mathematic, ununderstandable accent of English Language(not native speaker).
I used to love math but he made it more complicated than it had to be. Kinda rude and didn't like repetitive questions. Treated everyone like they were lower than him. Doesn't check hw. Quizes weekly. About 3 tests. Final was easy if you paid attention.Just really bad attitude towards students. Should lower his ego a bit. Ok professor, bad attitude!
This professor is awesome, yes he has a few issues like his accent but he is extremely helpful if you're willing to work. Overall he's fair, got an A+ in his class becauses i worked for it. =)
I am so in love with him. He is so helpful and clear, don't agrgue with him, if he screems..lol just smile. you will change your mind soon and you will love him. He knows his subject very well, he expected everybody to be smart like him but ..It's ok. don't hesitate to take him he was such a big help for me take him. luv u
HE NEVER GIVE HELP,HE NEVER CLEAR. SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND HIM. ALSO, NO WAY TO DO COMMUNICATION WITH HIM OR TO SEE HIM.
Hi is the best. He knows his staff and teaches well. Unlike some who cover only one chapter of the text book. I wish he teaches more upper level classes.
i had to drop his class. from the moment the class starts until the end, all he does is write on the board so that we could copy notes. he teaches way too fast and has an accent so it's hard to understand. take him if you are very good in math and if you are willing to take the time to go to a tutor for extra help.
horrible professor...teaches to get paid...hes not concerned about students' learning
I am taking precalc online and he is by far the worst professor. He does not reply to emails, never provides corrections for exams or posts the exams during the specified time frame. His syllabus is filled with spelling mistakes and nothing is clear. He has the wrong dates and does not provide any help. Without a tutor I'd fail this course.
I took pre calc and calc with Dr. T, he always related what we have learned in precalc to what we were learning in clac. He always goes over any probelm we have in class before going to the new material. He knows his staff very well and is the best teacher.
I took pre calc online. WORST teacher ever. I dont know how they have teachers teach online who do not respond to emails. Scary thing is he is head of the department!! Thanks for wasting my money!
He is always prepared and always willing to answer any questions. I enjoyed the class. He knows his staff. I definitly recommed hime for any math course.
well if you know basic math you will pass with an easy A, just need to take notes, it helps on easy quizzes
I've taken him a number of times and he is still my favorite. he always asks if you have questions and is willing to help if you don't understand something u just have to ask because he won't ask you if you say you understand the material. come prepared, do hw, don't have an attitude and you'll enjoy the class he jokes around at times
My 1st and last online course. 1st off he announces that we have a test/quiz on a set date. Test/quiz is no where to be found, after constantly messaging him, he does not reply with any help nor does he check to see whether he published the test/quiz. He does not care that we are wasting money on his class, he has no knowledge to offer me.
This Professor teaches exclusively by writing notes on the board. He does not explain the concepts or how to do the math. His class is basically "this is the theory, here are some examples, read the chapter." He is condescending, very difficult, and not helpful. I did not learn as much as I hoped to.
Do the homework he assigns. The problems from the homework are literally the same as on the test obviously with different numbers. I was able to get an A because I did the problems he assigned over and over again. Go to tutoring on the 4th floor of the K building and have someone help you understand the homework problems. Practice!
He's honestly the best professor ever. He is hardcore, not going to lie, but he teaches very well and gives you plenty of opportunities to do well and study and learn for his class. If you ask a stupid question, he will make you answer the question yourself. The clearest professor ever though, you will be a math genius.
He's a very tough professor. He doesn't check homework, but i recommend you doing every problem he assigns and make sure you understand them. The homework problems are just like the tests and quizzes as well as the examples he gives in class. Nothing should be unfamiliar on quizzes and tests.
Horrible proferror he should not bother to teach , he has no respect to students and no care for student either . Save your time and ur stress going to his class stay away by all mean
I dislike math, so there is a bit of a bias. However, this professor did not teach well. His lectures were just reiterations of his notes, and clarification was hard to come by. I basically had to teach myself for this course. Emphasis, I had to teach myself CALCULUS 2. Quizzes had way too many questions and not enough time. Spare yourself the pain
I took this class for Pre-calc Online. This professor isn't to bad if you are into math however I wouldn't suggest taking him if you have a hard time grasping math concepts. He teaches but does not explain well. He has terrible communication skills & hard to understan - DOES NOT REPLY TO EMAILS. Gives a quiz every week. Take him at your own risk...
Fantastic professor. He spends a lot of time going over examples in class and we're free to interrupt him when we have questions. At the start of class we get to ask him to solve homework problems we had a tough time with, and he has plenty of office hours. Calc is hard in general but I don't feel like there were many surprises, he's very fair.
You need to memorize any formulas he give you or else you will not succeed in this class. If you do not understand something go see a tutor ASAP. When you ask him for help during office hours he is very dismissive and would spend no longer than 3 minutes with you. He gives quizzes every week and that is basically what your grades will be based on.
I barely survived this class. Professor Teclezghi gave us quizzes almost every week, and if you struggle with math like me this class is not for you. He just writes notes on the board and shames students for not remembering things from previous math classes. He assigned way too many homework assignments and had the hardest tests ever. Steer clear!
