Very funny guy with a good attitude. The entire grade is based on two tests, but he'll tell you EXACTLY what is going to be tested on, so there is no excuse for not doing well. Reading the book is mandatory, and he'll keep you on your toes.

midterm and final, on 9 chapters each. SUCKS studying 9 chapters! but good teacher, very clear, tests are fairly easy, but you must study and read the chapter. Nice guy, easy B, work for your A.

He's a great law teacher. Only problem is that everything is from the text but he goes over the text in class. If you read and do the case problems you'll be fine.

Very interesting class. It was a MWF 9am and I still went to class and enjoyed it, even on the Fridays. If you take good notes and do the case studies, it would be challenging to not get atleast a B.

Made class very interesting and enjoyable. Funny guy who loves to teach the class. Has to give more tests or look at homework though since your grade is based soley on three tests so if your not a good test taker then you might not do as well as you would like.

Great Professor. Neil is great. If you take this class it would be a mistake to take it with someone else. Class attendance is important and you need to do case problems religiously. Makes this subject so interesting- I would just sit in on his classes if I could!

Had him for 2 classes. great teacher. always helpful if you have a legal question. helpful when you don't have a legal question. Classes are fun to go to. Never missed a day when we had class. Plan to take him again becuase he's good.

All I can say is open note tests, classes cancelled on a regular basis, and he lets you go early in a 50 minute class. The BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes- I've taken Neil for three law classes in a row now. I can't help it, I'm in love with him. I'm depressed that he doesn't teach anymore classes. Got an A in both legal environment and sports law, and will get an A in real estate law too.

Neil is a great person, very helpful and give out very interesting and funny lectures. However, he takes too many days off, which will effect your learning. 3 Test, read the book, don't take him if you don't like multiple choice questions. Test can be a bit tricky to some people. GL

I agree, he is cool and everything. But takes too many days off. Lectures are short, exams can be tricky. I personally prefer a course with more work rather than just 3 exams. Over all he is a nice guy, does listen to students. Infact he is probably reading this lol.

In the first week of class i thought that this we going to be a bad class. I was wrong. Neil is a great teacher and makes everything interesting. IF you study you will do well in this class. JUST DO THE CASE PROBLEMS. And he def. does not take to many days off.

Class itself can be hard. Neal is cool an everything, test are a bit challenging / confusing. Wish he did Case problem after the Chapter Lecture, that way people would have some idea what is going on. Good teacher. Speaks LOUD AND CLEAR. the tests were mostly true/false type and were reasonably easy or (hard). it's not hard to get a B if you listen to the discussions and take notes well...

First of all, the only people who bash Ben Neil on here are kids that are pissed off at their grades! He is by far one of the better teachers I've ever had and finds ways to make the class interesting. He says exactly what will be on the tests, you just have to show up and listen! #@$%ing awesome!

Great teacher that makes you want to come to class just for the humor but he also gives away test questions if you do go to class. His tests are worded tricky but if you bring good notes to the exam, READ THE TEXT, and pay att. you will do great! Only 4 tests covering 5 chapters at a time-all open notes. I love this class. Prerequisite for the Business Major so it's required. Work directly out of the textbook and he goes over the chapters in class. He literally says exactly what is on the test, and 3 of 4 tests were open notes. Very funny, seemed intimidating at first but he isn't at all. Loads of extra credit. Take him!

Best professor I have ever had. Great sense of humor which makes the class much more entertaining than it should be. Must read chapter before each class because he picks random ppl to ask questions regarding the assigned reading. Exams are open notes, and if you show up to class, he will pretty much tell you what questions will be on each exam.

Neil is a great guy who has a lot of information. He is very good at explainign info. There are only four tests all MC or TF and most of them were open note. He wants you to do well in the course and learn the material and really tries to do that! take him if you get the chance :)

Took the online version. Nice and very helpful. Test was 5 T/F & 5 MC for each chapter (usually 5 chapters per test). Tests straight forward and easy. Always gives extra credit for each test.

This class was my favorite class this semester. You don't really have to go but it helps because he gives you all the notes for what will be on the test exactly if you attend class. He's hilarious. All tests are open notes and there's extra credit too. I was intimidated by him at first but he's actually really nice.

I took this class online. The only way of receiving course information was through email and a facebook page that the professor set up. Only 4 test which questions were taken directly out of the book. I can't say I learned anything in this class but I did get a good grade fairly easily.

Neil is hilarious. His class covers the material on the test but then his comedy just adds to it. He is very knowledgeable and is great professor. You will learn a lot taking this class and it not only will help in business but personal life as well. Take this class Neil is awesome.

BEST PROFESSOR I COULD HAVE ASKED FOR! He is an amazing teacher... hilarious... interesting to listen to... I was not excited to be taking a law class this semester at all, but he has made me actually enjoy going to class. Definitely take him!

This class is super easy online, but I think it's changing after this semester. All we did was take 10 question quizzes each week for each chapter in the book. The questions come word for word straight from the text and they are timed for an hour. I usually finished in about 20 mins and got a 90-100% on most.

3 exams with a few extra credit opportunities. Read one chapter before class, then go over that chapter in class. You'll learn a lot and Professor Neil is so entertaining. TAKE!

Great professor. Since he is a real lawyer he is very knowledgeable about the subject. He will tell you what you can and can't get away with in college. Overall a very very funny guy. I would highly recommend to anyone.

by far the BEST teacher I've had at Towson. This guy is a real lawyer and not only knows his stuff, but is very funny in class. He connects with his students and keeps the course interesting, even on the dull chapters. Tests are not hard as long as you read the text, which you will want to because he makes this class so enjoyable!

The online course was easy to follow along, as long as you kept on top of the quizzes. I would not recommend waiting to take them, even though you have until the end of the semester to complete all of the quizzes. I would take this course again.

This was the easiest course I have taken in my life. 18 online quizzes is your grade and they are not hard at all. Really an easy A if you do the quizzes on time. Sucks that he is retiring
