Might seem intimidating but he's a really nice and friendly person. His homework, tests, quizzes are easy. (4 tests) multiple choice and fill in the blanks for a few. If you review your notes a couple of days before the exam, youll be good. Hes very passionate about this subject.

Mr. Botero is a wonderful teacer. He knows his stuff. He assigns lots of work but its easy. Study for exams and quizs and you'll be fine. He also stress the knowledge of the amendments, the components of Criminal Justice and the 3 amendments, other than that great teacher, do the work and you'll pass.

Professor Botero is a great Professor. I highly recomend him. You will definatly remember your 1,4,5,6,8th Amendments. I like that he always kept us busy. There are always projects. I did my 1st ever Powerpoint in his class. I was real nervous. But I made it through. Anyway, take his class it's fun and be prepared to do class projects AM Winter2012

This was a great class; he is very passionate about his teaching and makes sure the students understand the subject. He really cares and will take the time to explain if you ask. Attendance counts so make sure you show up and don't leave early, i'd recommend this prof. to anyone

CCJ1020 - Mr. Botero could easily be the best teacher BC currently has. This was my --3rd EASY A-- in one of his classes. Lots of homework (but doable)... Learn the 'Bill of Rights' (a must) and Articles I, II, & III. Great reviews. Don't come late to class. He's strict but FAIR. You come out actually learning the material. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...!!!

BEST CLASS EVER HANDS DOWN. Except the quizzes and tests seem to be coming every single class near the end of the term. You have to be extremely organized if you are taking more than one class with him per semester.

In my three years attending this school Botero is my favorite professor. He is always happy to be teaching. He is very smart, and very helpful. He keeps his class interesting. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and will be taking his courses in the future.

Botero is super great. He's strict about attendance only because he's trying to help you out. The work is easy and he knows his stuff so you'll actually learn. You don't need the book at all but if you're interested in buying one I'm selling mine, never opened it. (954 501 5352) Other than that i have nothing but love for this guy.

Professor Botero is one of the best professors anyone could have. He's very straightforward, clear about his class and extremely passionate about what he does. It's impossible not to love his engaging methods of teaching. I absolutely urge anyone to take his class, without a doubt.

His class was easy , we did not use a textbook , he was very understanding , the material he gave out to study was the same exact material on the test word from word , we had a total of 4 test and everyone was easy if you study the material he gaves out

Professor Botero is one of the best professors @ BC. He's very strict with attendance because he doesn't want anyone to miss out. His classes are very interesting (I've taken 4 of his classes already). There are many extra credit opportunities, there's no way you can leave his class with lower than a B. Strongly recommended!

This teacher is very good at what he does, his lectures are clear and concise and as long as you study the guide he gives you and the notes you take you will ace the tests no problem he has strict no cell phone rules he is one of the best teachers i have ever had the pleasure of taking i recommend this class to all criminal justic majors.

Professor Botero is tough but fair and the class (Human Behavior in Criminal Justice) is interesting. He is passionate about the subject. But you have to show up, on time, and put your phone away. I enjoyed not seeing people text during class for once.

Will not let you out early, at ALL. Expect to stay literally until the last minuet of class. Class is very, very easy if you do what is told of you. Overall a good professor. Besides him holding you until then very last second, he's a great professor.

He's hilarious. If you skipped class you'd miss a lot but easy to catch up. He takes you on field trips and you watch a lot of movies. It was a great class and I plan to take him again. Expect homework though but it usually helps with your grade.

Best professor ever. Yes he was in the Military but he does not go by the Military ways, well just one rule, show up to class on time every time or else you will get a little embarrassed. They don't make teachers like this anymore. He is passionate about teaching and he was clearly passionate about his career. I took him for intro to corrections, intro to CJ, and Human Behavior. He is strict on attendance but you will learn everything you need to know to have a successful career within the criminal justice field.

Class was so easy. He gives you a study guide but you cant use it for the test. The assignments are easy. DONT be late or he will put you on the spot. He is kind of funny and has a small accent. He does gives handouts and he'll tell you which ones you can use for the test. TAKE HIM !

Get ready to participate in class. His classes are very interesting and super funny! He will call your name if you are not playing attention and ask you questions related to the subject, which makes you be alert and want to understand. With him I have learned more than with any other professor in my 4 years of college.

Fantastic teacher, be on time, He will lecture you about being late because he gets there at 6:00 every morning. Also he says he practically will not help you, but if you are in class and miss a day like i did he can be very generous and forgiving. He also talks about "Little Ricky" a lot, seriously the mans hilarious.

He is so nice yes he HATES it if you're 2 minutes late he starts class at the exact time that is written in the syllabus. I've taken him 2 other times and honestly the best teacher out there. Can be a bit strict but his class overall is pretty easy. He really enjoys teaching. His test arent hard I got a A on every single one. Gives online homework and passes out handouts in class that you can use on the test. Dont be a minute late he is super strict on that.

Botero is, no joke, one of the best professors I've had in my college career. He has a very clear cut way of teaching that works amazing if you're involved in class. Warnings: He is tough about both attendance (BE ON TIME!!!) and assignments (Don't lose them, you'll need them to pass!). If you can do both then you got yourself a success story.

Mr. Botero seems very intimidating and scary on the first day of class. So much so, at least a quarter of the people drop the class (a huge mistake). Mr. Botero has been my favorite professor at BC ever and I honestly wish everyone could see how amazing of a teacher he is. He still has his rules but as long as you respect them it's a fun class.

The best Professor I had in BC. He may be intimidating the first time, but don't worry he's actually really nice. Just don't be late to class, because he wont let you in. His classes are interesting and engaging. The study guides are basically the tests just study it and you will pass the tests and the class easily. I would take again.

This class could not be any easier. I barely put effort into this class (which i'm not complaining). You can get work done in under 10 minutes. Thats really all i can say, highly recommend if you want an extremely easy class
