Mr. Benjamin Drury, is a great teacher! If you don't understand something and you ask him he will help you understand. He also helps students with a busy work and school schedule. He also makes the time go by fast he's lectures are great and sometime we can't say that about everyone lectures.

Proffesor Drury is a very easy teacher, he doesnt require much. His grading is easy. It's a very easy class, I definantly recommend.

Morton College's finest. The course is a bit more work than it should be (in my case a 101 class) but it is definitely worth it. Very enthusiactic instructor, lectures are always fun. It's definitely a course you don't want to slack off on though, he ACTUALLY teaches. 1010 recommend

Saying goodbye to this class was tough. The class was amazing, and I would take this class a million times if I could. Prof Drury is one of the funniest people on this earth. Expect to work hard, but keep in mind that you'll love doing so for his class. 16 weeks is not enough, but the best things in life always come to an abrupt end, unfortunately.

Professor Drury was an incredible instructor. You really learn a lot in tis course in the span of one semester. Make sure you actually do the assigned work, otherwise it's easy to lose easy points, and it will make the tests seem harder. Make sure you show up to class, because there is always something new going on in class.

An incredible instructor! You really learn a lot and he keeps it interesting. There's homework almost every day but it's super easy and the assigned due dates are in the syllabus. He's always there to help you out whether for the class or just in life. I actually teared up the last day (outside the classroom lol) I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO TAKE HIM!

I really enjoyed taking soc 100 with professor Drury. I can tell that Professor Drury truly cares about his students and that is a huge plus. His lectures are so interesting and never boring. You will do great in his class if you show up to lecture, turn in his assignments on time ( will not accept late work) and ask questions if you need help.

Though he is hilarious and his lessons are usually clear and understandable, he does expect a lot from students and does not accept late work for absolutely no reason at all. Exceptional class! No doubt expect homework, Mr. Drury wants you to explore your social perspective so go in-depth in your work, or you won't get good grades. He makes the class fun while lecturing, participation will be excepted. Luckily Mr. Drury gives out ALOT of extra credit, so it's not difficult to get the grade you desire.

Great professor. Really passionate about the subject. He gives out weekly chapter handouts and requires proper citation. This gives students a chance to maintain a good grade and a way to learn the subject in a way that relates to everyday life. He gives 3 major papers, one of which you have to present. Definitely recommend his class.

This class was absolutely informative in the most fun way possible. The interaction in class matters and our input matters as long as we understand the material and stay on topic. Over all Drury is fair and is what should be expected of a college professor. Study everything! His office hours are available for help. Take advantage of them.

Professor Drury is AWESOME!! He keeps class up to date with society and its important matters. He does assigned a lot of homework, but it will only make you a better individual in college and outside of school. I was even thinking of majoring in sociology after my experience in Professor Drury's class.

Professor Drury was by far one of the best teacher's I've had! I went into the class not knowing a thing about sociology. By the end of the class I can honestly say I learned so much more than I originally expected! Not to mention, he makes the lectures absolutely hilarious and relatable which makes it that much more interesting!

I was a student of Drury in Spring 2016 semester and let me tell you I didn't think I would make it. I didn't think I was capable of passing but I passed and was surprised of the effort I put in for his class. He explained his lectures through analogies and would make total sense. Just don't expect it to be a walk in the park.

My favorite class but it was also the class I had most homework in , he really knows how to teach and his class is not boring at all . I never been good in school but he helps you really understand what he teaches although a lot of people drop the class because of the homework it's not that bad one essay per week lol.

He does give out a lot of homework but he's funny as hell and a really cool human being. You do two exams but you do them in a group.

I had an amazing experience in his class. I learned so much about my family and other different cultures and families as well, and we all have some of the same experiences. If you think you are going to take a class, and not do any work college is not for you. This class is fun and easy all you need to do is show up and do the work correctly.

Drury was one of he best Professors I've ever had. He started off my college experience perfectly, and made coming to class easy and made me want to learn. I would honestly pay a lot of money to take his class again. He genuinely cares about his students, and wants us to succeed. 10/10 would take his class, or whatever he teaches, again.

The guy really knows what hes talking about. Hes also really good at keeping your attention and making class fun. That being said hes not super easy but not hard either. As long as youre not lazy and you show up for class and do the work youll be fine. Also he doesnt mind you asking questions during and even after class. He was always very helpful

Definitely would take Drury again. Unlike other professors, he cares about your overall well being. He's super fun and laid back. As long as you participate and do all the homework (which is a lot but worth it) you will pass and get an A or B. He also offers lots of extra credit opportunities.

The homework is overwhelming at times but it's worth it because he's a really good teacher! I highly recommend him if you're looking to enjoy learning. :)

Great professor and down to earth. You have to work for your grade but if you keep up with homework you will pass the class. I will strongly recommend his class.

Mr. Drury makes sure to open up your eyes, so you realize eveything that is happening. He challenges your views (but in a good way). He respects his students opinions, ideas, etc. therefore, he encourages them to speak up. Mr. Drury doesnt just say he cares about his students, he shows it. He is one of the best professors at morton.

You can tell that Mr. Drury actually cares about what he teaches, so with that you can actually learn something by taking his class. It can be difficult at times with the amount of work he gives but it never seems unfair. If you're interested in Sociology or just need a class to take I recommend taking it with him.

Prof. Drury is great, he teaches his classes as if everyone was a scholar student. I appreciated this because I work very hard to keep my GPA up and he deff had me quivering in my seat with his tough grading. Overall he is truly an amazing professor, if you are lazy and hate doing homework then this is NOT the class for you!!

Prof. Drury is one of a kind when it comes to teaching. He is a tough grader and you have to work hard to receive a good grade in the class but the extra credit that he offers will boost you up. Lectures are great and he adds his own humor to it which is even more great. He's one of the best professors I had this semester! :)

He also treats everyone the same and is the furthest thing from condescending. He does give a lot of homework, but you really learn from it (and he's passionate about it). He made this class very different from what I was expecting when I first walked in there. However he gives a lot of homework. The papers arent hard to write, but you have to show that you are actually learning and reading the articles. He was an awesome teacher that you can count on.

Professor Drury is truly what every professor should be like. He cares deeply about his students (as well as sociology) and will go out of his way to make sure that everyone is both doing ok in the class and in real life by providing you with the resources you need. I am currently taking another class with this same professor (soc 100) and love this class as well! Everyone is always encouraged to speak their mind without judgement and the class environment is always really welcoming.

Professor Drury creates a welcoming environment in his classroom where all of his students can feel free to express themselves without judgement. He himself is also a very understanding and open professor who really cares about his students. He does give out a lot of assignments which may seem overwhelming at first, but you'll soon get used to it.

I don't feel our class discussions about the book is talked about enough to answer all those questions. If you're not up for the challenge, don't take his class.

A King. One of the best human beings you will meet in your life time. He cares so much for his students and makes you want to come to class.
