class was boring and he loves to talk about fish
Mr. Keck's class is very hard because it takes a lot to actually stay up. He moves through his slides very quickly and doesn't take time to go back. He's test are very useful because there is a group section. He is into fish so be prepared to listen to all his stories about fish and know that every example will also be about fish. Good Luck!
Keck's class was long and hard to sit through. Half the time I couldn't follow what he was saying, and he tended to get off topic a lot. When I went to him for help about my grades during his office hours, he basically told me he didn't know how to help me.
Loved this guy! Filling out the study guide is a really easy way to study, and they're entirely from his study guide. Dr. Keck is super nice, definitely recommend. Textbook is a must for Mastering Biology!!!
Keck doesn't put a lot of text on his slides which makes going back and reviewing them kind of difficult. He really wants students to like him so he will go the extra mile.
I took him for 101 and now again for 102. He keeps everyone interested and awake even at 8:10 am. Tests are very easy as long as you study and he has a good voice to keep you awake lol. Attendance is taken as a percentage so the maximum amount of missed days depends on your grade.
He studies ichthyology, so get ready for a lot of fish references. He's nice, young, and pretty helpful. Not the best at teaching, but if you let him know that you care about your grade, he'll definitely try to help you out. Study the power points for tests, and get ready for some group work.
This class is hard but not impossible. He gives tough test but if you study hard enough you'll do ok. He also curves the grade at the end which really helps.
I took Keck for Bio 101 and it was my easiest class. His lectures aren't very specific so I learned my material from my book on my own time and did homework during class. His study guides are challenging and so are the tests but most of the material comes from the book. Make sure to do well on clicker questions and homework as they go into grading.
Tests are pretty tough and there are group portions on every one, and his power points are unclear so you will have to read or Google most of it. Still a good teacher, explains things pretty well. You can do poorly on a test and still make up for it if you try hard. Clicker questions every class that require you to go to each lecture.
Literally talks about nothing. If it wasn't for the google doc the class made for each test, I would've failed. If you can do the study guide you'll probably pass, but it has nothing to do with what he actually says in class. Not the worst or hardest ever but annoying. No reading needed and little homework on the brightside.
Mr. Keck is an awesome professor! He loves fish though, fair warning. Every lecture there will be a fish topic and even some questions on exams will be like: What does Mr. Keck study? He drops low exam grades and is very lenient with giving As.
Keck is a nice guy, but he's definitely not the best teacher. Lectures are long and unhelpful, impossible to take notes as he goes too fast, and his powerpoints are completely useless. Tests were hard, and part of them is done in a group which was annoying and ended up bringing my test grades down. Only reason I got an A was that he curves a lot.
He is so great! His test are very easy and he puts all the lectures online.
He is easy to approach and willing to work out any problems you have if you ask for help. The only problem I would often encounter is that he wasn't always clear on homework due dates, you just sort of had to remember to check the mastering bio website, and he doesn't upload the study guide until a few days before the exam (usually not a full week)
Professor Keck is so nice! His tests are straightforward and I would definitely take his class again. Participate in class (clickers), do mastering biology, and study for tests and you'll get an A for sure!
His lectures were kind of confusing, but if you ask for help, he will, and might even bump your grade up because you asked for help. Very lenient teacher.
He may make a mistake every on e in a while, but definitely tries to make up for it. Awesome, funny guy.
Mr. Keck is one of the nicest professors I've had so far at UT. His lectures are long and confusing, but he's not too bad to look out so you can endure it. Tests aren't too bad if you have the study guide. Labs for this class are pointless but will be a great aide in helping your grade. Great about giving help. Would definitely recommend.
Prof. Keck is easy on the eyes and fairly easy on the tests. Your grades consist of clicker questions, Mastering Biology, 3 exams, 1 final, and your lab grade. If you're lucky he will offer 2 extra points to your final grade if 80% of the class completes the SIAS evaluations. The study guides are broad, but bearable with a class Google Doc.
Probably the best professor for the Bio 101102 at UT (which is unfortunately kind of a crappy class by default). His study guides aren't that helpful for the tests, but you have other points to help out your grade. Lectures are long, but he is occasionally hilarious in them. He isn't that great about telling you when MasteringBio is due.
Of course, the people who sign up for Bio 101102 are not bio majors and, chances are, aren't so thrilled about a gen ed bio class. I wasn't looking forward to this class, but Keck is the best prof I've had at UT. If you attend class and pay attention, his exams are seriously so easy. Though the book is required, you won't see it on the exams.
I had Keck for Bio 101 and 102. Once you get used to his style, he's pretty easy to pass. Attendance isn't mandatory because he posts his powerpoints to Blackboard. However, if you want those powerpoints to make any sense, go to class. His tests aren't hard, just review the powerpoints. Lots of talk about fish, but he's nice and laidback. Love him.
Keck is generally funny but his lectures are lengthy and slightly boring. Tests are of slightly above average difficulty. Go to class because clicker questions count for participation. An okay class.
Mr. Keck is genuinely nice guy but his downfall for me is the organization of his lectures. They are a little scattered BUT if you read the book you should be able to understand it fully. He's extremely helpful though, and his exams are easy if you actually study the study guide. Clicker points really help to boost your grade too!
Dr. Keck's class wasn't bad at all and his tests were really easy if you studied. You have to get used to his teaching style because he goes really fast through his powerpoint which means you usually get to leave early. You have to do clicker points but other than that you don't need to be there because he puts all his lectures online
He loves fish. Also, he is a relatable teacher who understands college kids. His lectures can get boring at times but the class isn't too bad.
Keck has sometimes boring lectures, but he spices it up with his sense of humor. He gives study guides for every test, and although there is homework, its not that hard or time consuming.
Lectures are sometimes boring, but he is a funny guy so its worth it. There is some homework, but its not very time consuming. He also gives study guides for every test. Final was not cumulative.
Dr. Keck is a great biology professor. He knows his stuff and is definitely there for you if you need it. He gives simple 4-6 question homework assignments on Macmillan Launchpad (maybe once a week). Clicker points are around 10% of your grade. Lectures can be boring at times, but he tries to make them fun. If you have to take bio 101, go with Keck
I hated biology in high school, but I breezed through Keck's class. You don't really have to take notes in class since he posts his powerpoints online. You show up to get clicker points which make a difference. And he gives a study guide before each exam which makes it super easy. If you want an A, study the study guide before each exam.
He gives study guides before all the exams and the final is not cumulative. If you pay attention in lecture and study the study guide you will do great! If you have any questions go to office hours and he will explain anything on the study guide. The clicker points during lecture really help your grade so don't skip!
Truthfully, this was my worst class this semester. He is really boring and, although I came to every class, I still feel like I didn't learn. I dont have trouble staying up in classes but this class will literally put you to sleep.
He goes through his lectures fast, but he always explained things better when I made appointments or during office hours. The group projects in class can be long. Between meeting with him and the study guide it's easy to pass the tests.
Keck is a great professor. He's a really funny guy, he understands that he's teaching to freshmen typically and makes class easy to understand. He teaches really relevant information in his lectures. I highly recommend him.
I have taken Keck for Bio 101 and 102 and loved it each time. He is a great teacher and his tests aren't too hard. Reading the book is really useful and easy to read. Homework isn't bad either.
He's an okay teacher. I took him last semester also. Its a pretty easy grade, but its boring. He gives clicker points. and Alot of group assignments
Keck is an awesome teacher! As long as you actually pay attention in lecture, you'll do fine. Just take notes and study before exams. Group work really brings your grades up, and all of his exams have a group portion, so that's also really helpful.
Dr. Keck was an extremely easy professor to take from. If you go to class and actually pay attention, the class is an easy A. He gives study guides for every test and is super specific about what to study. You have to go to class though because he uses clicker questions for attendance points.
Show up, take notes, read the textbook and you'll be good to go. He does post power points to go along with the lectures, but they'll be hard to follow if you don't attend class because he goes far beyond just reading off of the slides. If you're struggling, he's willing to help, just show up to his office hours.
Dr. Keck's powerpoints are confusing, and although he gives you a study guide, the test is extremely different than what you prepare for. Studied a lot for tests and couldn't make good grades. He is funny and lectures are not bad at all, but the tests are tough.
Do online hw, show up to class, and read over study guide google doc a couple days before each test, and you should be fine. Keck incorporates a lot of good Alabama jokes and non-stop fish examples into his lessons. Lots of group activities in class though, even a group portion in the test
Do the online homework! Also, go to his office hours at least once before each test. He'll help you out if you show that you care about doing well! He's a great teacher and he is hilarious. Read the textbook and you'll be fine. His powerpoints don't help much, so you have to actually listen to what he's saying in lectures!
I took course over summer so may be different. Quirky guy. Really likes fish. Make a groupme to exchange HW answers to save time. Gives exam study guides which rocks. Lots of group work and clicker questions. Regular office hours and is actually helpful. Read the book and pay attention in class and you can get an A.
Summer class. He really wants the students to do well and is willing to take time out of class and apart from office hours to answer any questions. Gives very helpful study guides for the two exams. Lots of group activities in class and on exams. Gives a break during class to relax and makes class interesting. Super chill guy. Take him
Took summer Genetics with Dr. Keck. Really awesome teacher. Homework, clicker questions, and group projects are really important in this class. Study guides and the textbook are super helpful. Pretty available out of office hours if you email him for an appointment. Tests aren't super difficult if you keep up with reading and do the study guide.
TAKE THIS MAN. Seriously went from abhorring biology to actually liking and understanding it. I never thought that one of the classes that I looked forward to least in my undergrad would end up being my favorite. Dr. Keck is the nicest man alive, he's very helpful to students, and will actually teach you something. Listen to what he says, get an A.
Fantastic professor. Class is a breeze if you just listen to what he says. Go to class, participate, do the homework, skim the book (he teaches you well), you'll get a high grade. Love his obsession with fish, it made the class and lectures enjoyable! Thanks Dr. K!
Great professor. Super helpful. Class was great! I can't believe I finally learned something in UT's bio department. Take this class if you want to actually know what you're doing!
Dr. K is a fair teacher and really enjoys teaching.
Prof. Keck is one of my absolute favorites at UT. I went into Bio 101 a few years ago ready to hate the entire semester. He made that class SO great, though! He's the most understanding professor I have EVER had. He is totally willing to work anything out with you. He is adorable and funny and a real joy to be around! He loves bio and makes it fun!
Dr. Keck is a solid choice for Bio 150. The course material is not that difficult, but for the few tricky things, Dr. Keck does his absolute best to help us understand. Go to his office hours or utilize your TAs for help, and you will be fine. I just recorded his lectures and reviewed his study guides before each test, and I did well in the class.
Dr. Keck is so enjoyable. He makes lectures interactive and relevant. He's very accommodating to students and he's got that hot dad thing going. 10/10 would recommend.
He gives great lectures, and then posts all the powerpoints. But make sure you write down the scenarios he talks about. His tests are solely based on scenario questions. Every few lectures, there is a group activity. The book is online and you will have online homework. He cares about you and will make time for you to go to his office hours.
Keck is a super good teacher. He keeps it as interesting as biology 102 can be. Come to class, half way pay attention, and you'll be good to go. He truly wants to help you if you need it, and doesn't mind meeting with students. His tests and grading methods are pretty straight forward. Each test has a group portion which will boost your test grades
Keck is a super cool guy. Not too tough of a grader and always includes gimmee questions on his tests. This class was mostly guest speakers and short answer / discussion tests. Not really any homework. Pretty easy A.
Dr. Keck is really good at giving you information on a "need to know" basis so you have a clear understanding of what to study. He gives study guides before tests which help a lot with studying and he is accessible for office hours during the week if you contact him and he is really good at teaching one on one.
One of the best biology professors at UT. He genuinely wants you to do well in his class and encourages you to come to his office hours if you are struggling with anything. He tries to make the class as interesting as possible. There are lots of extra credit opportunities. As long as you complete the study guides and understand them you'll do fine.
Dr. Keck is a great professor. He genuinely loves what he does that makes this class worth it and meaningful. Unannounced group worksheets during lectures. Use the study guides he gives for the exams and youll do fine. There is extra credit, which helps since the class is based off of points instead of having weighted assignments.
Tests are all scenario based. Do not memorize the study guide, apply it. Go to office hours, he is very helpful and can give hints about test questions. Go to class to maximize all in-class points. If you make an effort and do the work and study for the test a day or two in advance you should be fine. He gives a good amount of extra credit too.
Dr. Keck is awesome. Study one day before the exams with a group and you'll pass. He gives extra credit too. The difficult part is biolit.
I loved this class. Dr. Keck was a very good professor, and doesn't grade hard. He allows for group portions on exams to help boost grades, provides extra credit, and he curves exams. If you go to his office hours hell help you understand how to do better on exams too.
I took Dr. Keck for BIO 106 and 102 because I liked him so much. There were clicker questions in 102 but not 106. Both classes he made interesting and there is a group portion on every test which usually boosts grades quite a bit. He is willing to help or review anything needed and the tests are very easy as long as you listen during lecture.
Professor Keck is awesome (he really does love fish). Lots of homework and the labs are somewhat interesting. He is a really great choice! I definitely recommend studying for all of the exams.
I took Dr. Keck for 102 and he is a great teacher. He goes a little fast in the lectures, but he gives ton of examples and also makes a study guide for each test. There are clickers in every class for participation, so you can't skip much. The tests are mainly just info from the study guide and there is a group portion on the tests.
Dr Keck is a fun teacher. Sometimes brought his adorable son to class. Hes very nice and the class is very easy
Big fish enthusiast but he's truly amazing! His exams are based on application of information but he offers lots of extra credit to help your grade. However, his BioLit TAs grade super harshly but he has addressed that and has helped us with that! Homework is online but you can easily Google it! Very funny and his lectures are interesting!
Keck was fantastic. I went from Chandler for 101 to Keck for 102. Keck is equally as fun as Chandler, but he dials it down some. He always tried to incorporate some sort of activity to keep students engaged. However, lectures were super hard, but he was always willing to help and really cares for his students if they make an effort.
Big fan of Dr. Keck. He really loves what he does, and his lectures are entertaining and informative. He's also very approachable if you are confused about anything. He does offer some extra credit for exams but you have to meet with him to discuss it (which is 100% fair in my opinion). You can tell he cares about his students and loves his job.
Amazing professor! Real fish enthusiasts & has a flattering since of humor. Dr. Keck genuinely cares about his students and its hard to fail unless you never attend. Go over the study guide before exams. Lecture PowerPoints are posted. He gives a lot of extra credit and there are group portions on tests. Would definitely take him again.
Dr. Keck was sooo flexible during the pandemic.
Keck organized his class with clicker questions to keep us engaged and paying attention. For the most part his lectures were engaging and entertaining but there were times he could get dry. Quizzes and exams were straightforward as long as you actually studied. Pay attention in class, take notes, and study and you'll do fine.
Professor Keck I think suffers from what the Biology department at UT suffers from, teaching concepts and rarely applying those. What typically happened is that the material covered in class is not enough and you need to go beyond lecture and make sure to read in order to fully grasp the course. He is a good guy though, loves his fishes.
i loved kecks course of biol150! as long as you listen during lectures, do the short quizzes on textbook chapters, and fill out his study guides, youll do just fine. plus hes very entertaining and made online not as bad.
Dr. Keck is the best! Super helpful and understanding. Watch lectures and take notes on everything he says and you will do just fine on the exams. 3 exams (including final) all open note and nothing is a surprise. Take good notes and complete all the assignments and you will do just fine.
He is really nice, but can sometimes get a bit off topic in lectures. You have to make sure to read the textbook and attend lectures and take notes from both so you can pass the exams. Has a bit of homework but it's not too bad. I would take him again, he is really passionate about his work with fishes.
Dr. Keck was a real gem in organismal and ecological biology (BIOL 150). I had this class online, but it only made the class easier. Attendance is expected, but not mandatory. He just wants you to learn and have fun while doing it. He does not "believe" in lockdown browser, so all tests, quizzes, and assignments (not many at all) are open note.
Professor Keck is a great guy and it may have just been the fact that we were online, but I did not feel prepared for tests. Study guides did not help and my friends with other professors felt way more prepared for all tests. Again he is very caring, but he makes tests very difficult.
Easy A. Takes forever to grade anything. Good lecturer but I never really felt prepared for tests. Attendance is not required but you'll need to watch the lectures back to get the material if you don't attend.
It's obvious that Dr. Keck wants his students to succeed. However, this class is really lecture heavy and you'll likely end up teaching yourself a lot of the material for exams. Do his extra credit surveys, they really help, and focus on getting all of the lab points you can. Those things really helped me get the grade that I did.
Dr. Keck is a great professor and cares a lot about his students. My one major piece of advice is that if there is a guest speaker take lots of notes!! What the guest speaker talked about WILL come up again
Great prof, he doesn't take attendance but I would recommend going to every class because otherwise you won't know anything for the exam. If you attend class and take basic notes it's an easy A, the exams are also not too hard and he gives some extra credit.
Verycreative lectures. Youll see why. Doesnt always explain things very well. Slides are just pictures and you have to listen to what he says very carefully and be able to take notes quickly while listening for new information at the same time. Tests have some information on them that you dont learn in lecture or the textbook. Lots of EC. Funny
I loved Professor Keck and this class. The homework assignments are very easy, but the tests suck so bad. I recommend taking good notes, and making quizlets otherwise, you will not do good.
I really liked the atmosphere that Dr. Keck was able to create during class, but I did not like the lecture slides that he used. He does record his lectures, but almost every lecture I would have to rewatch to actually write down the important info that he said because his slides don't have much written on them. Manageable class, but not an easy A.
He is super funny and nice and he wants you to like the lectures. One day he threw stuffed animals and they were named after STDS. If u just listen in lectures, you dont even need to study. Its all common sense stuff. He is really easy to talk to and he gives u extra points. I made easy 90s on his exams. The practice exam was basically the exam.
Keck is a good professor and cares a lot about the topic he's teaching. The class is not hard at all but you should definitely study the study guide he gives you before the test. You go on multiple fun little "field trips" like the greenhouses or otherwise. Overall, he's funny, has good guest speakers, and teaches important topics.
His lectures are a little hard to follow and there are very few exams, so good notes are very important. good studying skills are essential to do well. The bio lit section is very straightforward and easy if you go to class.
It is clear that Dr. Keck is very passionate about Biology which was helpful as about 90% of my class was not Bio majors. Get ready for long lectures and make sure you pay attention and take notes because he moves very quick. He brings in a lot of guest speakers which is cool and he grades fairly easy.
Dr. Keck was fantastic. As long as you participate, take notes (especially when there are guest speakers), and try to connect with him, you will be fine! He is really dedicated to his classes and makes the lectures enjoyable. Everything done in this class has a purpose and will help you on later assignments, quizzes, etc.
Keck was overall great. make sure to take notes on guest speakers. He gives really helpful study guides before exams.
A lot of lectures and some in class assignments in groups. He talks fast on lectures but in all he is a great professor.
Dr. Keck is a wonderful professor. He is very understanding, and he doesn't mark points off for things turned in later than the due dates. He truly has a passion for Biology, and his interest in fish is something that you can't help but love about him. He does go pretty fast through slides sometimes, but he always posts the recordings on Canvas.
Dr. Keck is insightful and kind. The amount of effort you put into this class directly translates to your grade. If you study, take good notes, and attend reviews, then you will succeed in the class. There are 3 total exams, and lots of other assignments to help your grade. He gives extra credit, exam corrections, bonus points on exams for his bday
I found Professor Keck's lectures to be unnecessary. I never attended, because most of the lectures just made no sense to me. He is a very kind man, but I felt like teaching myself the material was a much more effective approach.
Great professor. His class is really easy but also boring. I ended up teaching myself by watching the lecture videos after class because he goes too fast in class. If you just watch the lectures you will do fine in the class.
Dr. Keck is really fun! Take good notes bc the lecture slides are not helpful. If you consistently show up and try your best you'll be fine. He is very funny imo, also has office hours consistently -- I went to them before every test and always did well. be sure to take the assignments seriously bc there won't be many and your grade will fall
Dr. Keck was super nice and understanding. His exam wrapper(s) give up to 12 points back, take advantage of them!! Always show up for in class assignments, as there's not a lot of them and they're pretty easy grades. He talks pretty fast, but he posts all of his lectures.
Dr. Keck is a great professor. His lecture slides are not super helpful, so you really have to listen to him. He records and posts every lecture. He makes lecture fun by telling interesting stories. His study resources are great and his exams are fairly easy if you study effectively.
literally so awesome and nice. he is so nerdy and funny too. loves fish!!!! but seriously his class isn't hard and exams are pretty straightforward
The sweetest and most knowledgeable man. You can tell he loves what he teaches and he cares about his students. Not too much work out of class, showing up pays off.
The sweetest man ever
This class is not easy and the tests he makes are very hard and lecture-heavy. He goes very fast in lectures and puts barely any words on the slides so it's hard to take notes. A lot of in-class participation, but the tests make up the majority of your grades and they are very difficult. If you do not attend every class you will not do well.
Keck is a funny and caring guy. Ask him anything about fish and he will love you. Keck is clear on his expectations and assignments. Very straightforward assignments and exams, easy to get an A if you devote a little time and effort to the class.
EEB 474: For this class, you have to memorize fish and their Latin name and identify them. At first, I thought it was hard but it was pretty easy if you study. He is an amazing and caring person and will help you with your problems. He is my favorite professor by far.
A very nice professor. Study hard for the exams, know that he studies fish, and do well in the labs
Made the class very fun and he is super nice overall. He does make-ups on exams and will work with you to get the grade you want. Be ready to learn a LOT about fish.
Mr. Keck is funny and interesting. I learned really cool things in his class, and i'm so glad I took his class for my vol core requirement. He regularly brings in speakers, making lectures unconventional and different. Such a cool guy, you should take him!
Dr Keck is super nice, informative, chill, and has a little bit of humor. His lectures are nothing special, just going through ppt and adding if a fish is tasty or not, but if you talk to him during lab he is super friendly and explains things about fish very well. His passion for fishes really shows and he is a great prof to have.
He is a great professor who is passionate about his classes and super understanding about work and tests and you will have no work outside of class.
Professor Keck was a pretty good professor! He always made people aware of his love for fish lol, and lectured almost every class with a couple of guest speakers. But it wasn't a very hard class and no homework which was nice. The quiz wrappers are also helpful to gain extra points.
Prof. Keck is an engaging, knowledgeable instructor. His lectures can move quickly, but the material is manageable with the help of Unstuck AI and attending review sessions. The exams are fair, and his grading system offers opportunities to boost your grade.
Literally the best. He really likes fish but you can tell that he's really passionate about biology in general, as lectures are interesting and engaging. Has an amazing personality. Definitely take him if you can!!
Dr. Keck is a nice guy, but his exams are so hard. The average for exams were never above 75%. They are lecture heavy and it's really hard to take notes because he barely puts words on his slides and mostly just pictures.
Dr. Keck is pretty great. He's passionate about biology, his lectues are fun and entertaining, and he is very engaging. It is challenging to take notes though because his slides do not have much information other than pictures, but you will catch onto the things that you need to.
He is a nice guy but his lectures are really useless. He doesn't include a lot of key terms on his slideshows and really just puts pictures of animals and will talk about them. Then when you get to the test there are random terms and topics you've never heard of before. Really nice guy again but he is just not a good instructor.
He is a good professor and is passionate about what he is teaching but his lectures can be hard to follow and much of what is on the slides is not on the test. You have to rely heavily on the exam practice, quizlets, and the textbook. The labs are also extremely easy to the point of being useless.
I really liked Professor Keck but I do wish his lectures were more engaging. The class is entirely lectures, so it can get boring. There were a few extra credit opportunities, but I found the exams really hard. However I'm not a science person so that could be why. Overall great person and professor, I would take his course again!
must love fish.
Ben Keck is a very sweet guy outside of class. However, his lectures cover lots of content at a fast pace and his powerpoint slides are not helpful at all. Even when attending every lecture, I found his tests to be extremely difficult, and he offers very poor explanations for test corrections. Extra credit is available but it doesn't help much.
Professor Keck is a very nice and funny guy, however there are three exams in the class and that is your entire grade. The first two exams were moderately difficult, but if you prepared well you could do decent. However, the final was over nothing he told us to study and very niche things he might have said one time during a lecture.
Dr. Keck is a cool guy but his class is so lecture heavy that it is exhausting. His power points are all pictures, and he explains them in extreme detail and speaks so fast that you cannot get any notes taken. He posts his lectures, but you cannot hear a single word he says. Also, the first 2 exams were okay, and the final made no sense at all.
This professor is such a fun teacher. He stays with criteria and has just enough side tangents. He has great group activities with amusing means of delivery. Dr. Keck will always give a free point- even on the final exam! He holds office hours and is very down to earth. If you need to take any biology classes- or just want to, take Dr. Keck.
Dr. Keck may fit some learning styles, however all info was by mouth and his lectures had no words on them. The lectures were relatively boring and hard to follow with some interesting topics, however I wouldn't choose him as my first choice. He is nice and its possible to still do well in his class, but it is a challenge to adjust to his style.
Lessons were easy to follow along with and recorded, so if you miss class, it is easy to stay caught up. There was also little homework, only short 2-3-question online quizzes. Any "larger" assignments were done during class.
very passionate. he goes way too fast on ppts and doesnt but a lot of info on the slides so I felt like I was learning most stuff myself. but he is sweet, the exams aren't too bad and the homework is super easy. that man loves fish and will relate every topic back to them. chill class
