This course does have a heavy work load 2.5 hours worth of reading before each class. It's hard but worth every single second.

Bro Pacini was a competent instructor who provided clear explanations and assignments. While class is a fast paced, the content was well-organized. I wish there had been more opportunities for hands on activities, Overcall the class was super hard, but just do the work, it is a very engaged watching style.

BroPa really cares about his students. He is very open to feedback and is willing to change instructions on assignments, quizzes, and even test questions if it is not clear. He believes in accountability and honesty, but that never was a problem because he made learning super fun! The only thing I would say is the first week is rough. Hold on!

BroPa is super helpful! I had this class for his first semester teaching it so there were a lot of bugs. He was always open to feedback and was ready to help at the drop of a hat. He has labs almost every day where students can go ask any questions, and if you can't make it to labs, he has office hours (there is almost always a TA in his office).

Brother Pacini is a wonderful person and an even better teacher. This is a very heavy workload class, but I actually felt like I learned stuff! Pacini is so willing to work with you if you are struggling, he is available to assist in any way that you need and you can just tell that he believes that you are capable and wants you to succeed.

This class was a ton of work and took a lot of my time, but it was totally worth it. I felt spiritually lifted through this class and the readings that you have to do twice a week! Getting a A is not difficult if you just turn your assignments in on time and retake the quizzes. Pacini isn't a super hard grader, but he does expect a lot from you.

Dr. BroPa is an excellent example of an ideal educator. If you desire to do well, he will get yo there. I've never felt as driven by a professor, or as believed in, as I have in this course. He makes it challenging, but he also empowers you to meet the challenges. On a more personal note, he values individuals and helps meet all student needs.

Best Econ professor (though he's the only one I had). Has fun lectures and goes an extra mile (or 5) to make sure you're ready for the test. There is a lot of homework. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to econ, so it felt like a part-time job, but that wasn't his fault, I don't have a competitive advantage on homework.

He is a good teacher. Very engaging and fun to be in class. Canvas was a little disorganized with assignments not showing up until they were due. Great class, reading the textbook is essential. Lots of homework and the tests are long. Definitely use the index cards your allowed on the tests.

This is a really great class where you can learn a lot of basics in psychology that apply to day to day life, but also in the classroom. There is a least an hour of reading a week, but a lot of it is comprised of videos you can watch, which I personally liked better!

Brother Pacini is an above average professor, and if I could take all my classes from him I would, that being said, if you're going to take his class be ready and willing to work. Manage your time well, take advantage of extra credit opportunities, and don't be afraid to ask questions. This isn't an "easy A" class, but it's worth it.

This is my second time taking this class. He allows any complete assignments you did the first time for credit the second time. He also has labs, please go to them if you need help, he and his ta's are there to help. There is lots of work but also extra credit options too, so don't procrastinate. Stay productive. He is a huge fan of Bluey too.

Be prepared to spend a generous amount of time on assignments. Because the end goal is deep learning, a lot of the class is set up like an experience. And you have show up and be prepared for it. Be sure to attend class, and utilize the extra help in the zoom channel, from the TA's, and labs.

Brother Pacini was not always on task but on matter what he was talking about held value and importance, not only to our future in education but always on our present lives. He always made sure that we learned something that day to help enough with the attendance checks.

BroPa was an amazing professor! His Econ class was a little bit difficult since I was in the very first Econ class he taught at BYU-I, so he was still building the course. He still did his best to get assignments posted on time, and he made the class fun. I learned a lot from him, and would definitely recommend taking a class from him!!

Bro Pacinis class is a extremely heavy work load. There is so much material in this class to cover. The worst part of this class is Oral Exams. Stressful to prepare for, and sometimes it really felt like it interrupted the flow of an important discussion. 10/10 would take a class from him again.

I loved taking ED 361 from Brother Pacini! He's great teacher and his lectures and lessons were engaging. He changed my view on education and my job as a teacher. Really changed my perspective and gave me a purpose behind why I am becoming a teacher. The class was a little disorganized at times and I had difficulty knowing what was due and when.

I absolutely loved taking ED 304 from Brother. Pacini! He is so caring and always has amazing lectures! He is very engaging and truly wants what's best for his students. He is a great rigorous teacher. But be aware that there is lots of homework and it can be really easy to get behind. I like his method of grading, if it's not an A grade, he'll give you the opportunity to revise it which is great. He is also great to work with and easy to talk to. Be ready to give it your all, this class is not for the weak.

This was the best professor I have ever had. I used to hate Econ and the thought of it, and by the end of the class, I understand it more than what I am majoring in. The biggest problem I had was with the consistency. He loves sending things on the zoom chat, but between canvas and zoom I think it would be better to just solidify the canvas course and use that as the primary mode of communication. Several times the assignment instructions on canvas were incomplete and he had to clarify on zoom.

The homework assignments on Cengage weren't always relevant or didn't explain how to do the problems very well, and it is a lot of information to cram into thirteen weeks. Brother Pacini is the perfect teacher to teach future teachers. He is passionate about education and has made me so excited to teach! He is eloquent and knows what to say and how to answer questions. I loved every lecture and though attendance was mandatory, I wanted to show up! There were a lot of assignments but they were very useful.

I do think I became a better future teacher throughout this class, but I struggled to stay caught up and get my work done. The actual class was all over the place, some days we got to lesson, and others we went off on some tangent.

BroPa (his nickname) is an AMAZING professor. People have mixed feelings about him because his class isn't easy. That does NOT mean it is a bad class. You put your best effort into this class, and it pays off. He encourages you to do your best and if you are struggling you can always come to him. He is not just your professor, but your best friend.

For those taking this class, first of all, it is a very project-heavy class without exams. The professor himself is great, and pushes you in the class. However, the class doesn't have a lot of structure yet and be prepared to have the due dates, assignments, and in class structure change to fit your class.

He has about 4-5 hours of reading each week and yet I felt like 1/2-1/3 of the readings weren't worth my time. His tests are also very hard. Don't take other hard classes with this one.

He is open to debates and controversial topics, most importantly he is respectful and open to all sides of ideologies. You are expected to do a lot and it's time-consuming, and fast paced.

A typical week has 2 projects, a jigsaw, and a reading. Be aware that the projects take a significant amount of time to complete (~3 hours). Do not fall behind! Brother Pacini is a wonderful teacher with many strong opinions. He will listen to what you have to say, but do your research on the topic. Definitely take the class, you will grow a lot!

Don't take this class if you are lazy. If you get behind, you'll fail. BroPa is a great teacher, I would definitely take from him again. My only complaint is that there is a lot of busy work, so much so that we hardly get to everything we need to in a class. At times, it feels like too much material to fully process and reflect on. I would prefer to cover fewer topics in-depth and focus more on applying them to real situations.

This class is HARD. I loved everything I learned but I also struggled a lot especially when it came to the test. A lot if the questions are confusing but I know he is working to make them more clear. He teaches very well and very clearly. The work load is a lot in comparison to other teachers at BYUI, but it is bearable. If you're working a lot and have full credits I would wait until one of those things isn't in plan anymore otherwise the load will be a lot. Take advantage of his time especially with the essay questions, because I still dunno.

Bropa is amazing! You can tell he cares for each of his students. If you are looking for an easy A, this class is not for you! There is a lot of homework, but it all feels meaningful. He tries to scare you to make you drop the class at first, but don't listen to him! DONT PROCRASTINATE THE RUBIX CUBE.

Bro Pa is one of the greatest teachers I've had since going to school here at BYUI. He's deeply concerned for the learning and application of each one of his students, and truly just wants everyone to do the best they can. He's willing to work with you if you're struggling in the class, and is completely fair in each circumstance I've come across.

BroPa is an amazing teacher! I aspire to be like him when I grow up haha! He loves his students and he wants to have conversations with them both as students and as people. This class has significantly less reading than ED 304 and is pretty project-heavy in comparison. Lectures are riveting, but he gets on tangents a LOT (I love them though).

Hands down one of the best classes. It is quite a bit of work and just about every piece of it is important, beneficial, and useful. You learn the ins and outs of great instructional methods and how to use technology. This is one of the best classes you can take to prepare for teaching and he is passionate, fun, caring, and knowledgable.

Project based class. Applicable for future classrooms. Prepare to spend about 2+ hours on each project. It stacks up fast. Procrastination and intimidation was my downfall. If you keep on top of the homework and begin a few days in advance, you will be fine. Communicate, Bro Pa wants you to succeed. 0% grades are opportunities to resubmit for 100%.

Because you can only select 3 tags, and I've written a review for BroPa before, I'm just going to write all the other applicable ones: Participation matters, extra credit, gives good feedback, inspirational, lots of (meaningful) homework, caring, respected. BroPa is actually my favorite professor in the education department, but be ready to work.

Brother Pacini is a great professor overall! Busy work is not something to worry about in this class. He is willing to work with you on assignments and has lab most days that anyone can attend. It's a tough class that will push you to be better and learn a lot, but he has many helpful tools set in place to make sure you are successful.

This class was my hardest class this semester. The course work is heavy with papers, essay questions, heavy readings, etc. Strangely, I didn't mind. I wanted to work hard and do well. None of the homework is busy work and I felt like each assignment prepared me for life. You feel so good when you do well in this class.

This class is still in its developmental phase. We cover a lot of content, and it gives insights into various technologies and lesson planning. Be prepared to budget your time. There aren't quizzes and tests, but there are 1-2 projects every week. Going to the Lab is helpful. (He offers lab support in the classroom outside of class hours weekly)

Bro Pa is an amazing teacher, and he really cares about us as students/future teachers. However, his assignments are pretty heavy and full of lots of reading (make sure you keep up or you will be lost) The TA's will put in a zero until you fix one thing, especially on your notes for homework, put lots of notes or they will tell you to add more.

“If you are looking for an easy A, this is not the class for you” looking for a life-changing class? this IS the place for you! The work is hard, but he LOVES resubmissions because he is Mastery Learning focused. lot of reading, tons of Projects(project-based, not test-based). this class will change you into one of the best teachers ever.

BroPa makes class fun and wants his students to succeed. He was slightly disorganized, but he was great at eliminating busywork, answering students' questions, and focusing on the most important content for exams. He allowed one-time retakes of the first 3 exams, infinite weekly quiz retakes, and some extra credit opportunities for grade boosts.

He goes DEEP. Be ready to have your mind blown and come out a different person. You will not be bored because he really engages you in the content. Be aware the readings are hefty but they are juicy and interesting too. He struggles with organizing the study material so it is tough to find everything you need, but he is good at working with you.

As long as you put effort in and keep up with the work it won't be too difficult. It requires lots of time. Lectures sometimes ended up being rants and we wouldn't actually get to the topic of the day but the discussions were still very meaningful. He's very understanding and will work with you if you get behind or have life stuff happen.

Lectures are long but interactive. Pacini is genuinely caring and supportive, he wants to help you where he can. Classwork is tough but meaningful, with not much busywork. You're assigned to a group for the whole semester, so be ready to collaborate. One of the harder classes I've taken, but worth it.

If you need to take Econ micro, take it with Brother Pacini! The lectures are interesting and you literally learn so much. Not too much group work and he truly is there to help you succeed. Focus on the weekly quizzes, they will help you to prepare for the exams the most. Best Econ teacher I know!

I enjoyed taking BroPa's class! EDCOR325 will help you be more comfortable using technology in teaching. I'm not tech savvy it was difficult, but I'll be using what I learned in future classes. Lectures in class were great; Bro Pa is easy to talk to and cares about your education. Grading is either 0 or 100%, assignments are long, sometimes frustrating, but usually meaningful.

Great professor! There is a lot of work that you have to do for this class. Every class there is a reading that will take about 90 Minutes for one and then 45 for the other. It is very useful information being taught. This class can be kind of all over the place but impactful. He is a funny, passionate teacher that is really trying to impact lives.

It is a good amount of work and very rigorous at times however, BroPa and his TA's are very open with communication and understand that life gets hard. I was initially wary of the course due to the workload, but once I adjusted, it became manageable. The class is tough but incredibly rewarding—you learn a lot from the lectures and readings. It became one of my favorite classes because I felt challenged, supported, and cared about as a student.

This was my 2nd attempt for passing the class with BroPa (dropped1st time). I didn't get an A, but I worked SO HARD for my C! This class is homework heavy, but you learn so much. I tried taking the class with another professor, but didn't learn much. I would strongly recommend BroPa because you learn/grow so much, but you CANNOT procrastinate.

He is still working on making this class better. There was some unclear instructions, but leaving the class he is aware of that and is working to improve this class. Great teacher, but this class needs more structure.

BroPa is one of the best professors at BYU-Idaho! While some aspects of the class were getting worked out and worked through, BroPa never fails to show love and care. He cares for the subject and for the students more than your average professor. He's also an effective teacher and a true master of his craft.

This class was very meaningful to me because it encouraged deep thinking and reflection. While it requires a significant amount of time outside of class for readings, the workload is manageable. This teacher assigns a lot of reading too much almost. It really helps to be able to understand the content with the Jigsaws or group discussions, but there was so much reading it seemed impossible to get done and feel like I was putting in my best effort.

He never tried to impose his own opinions on us and his lectures were great! There is a lot of prep reading but it was all helpful. He is hard on his students but genuinely wants us all to succeed.

He has a good structure to the class mostly, the quizzes and readings were very regular. I even liked the exams for this class because they were also very consistent and simple to prepare for. I wish the projects were as straightforward.

I loved Brother Pacini! You will have to WORK in this class, he means it! He wants you to know the content, not just memorize it. Uses feedback seriously. Is always clear with expectations. More organization, skipping and/or staggering content made it hard to follow what would be discussed. A+ teacher, truly:)

Brother Pacini is passionate and caring, and keeps his class and reading assignments interesting. But, since he is so passionate he skips around his slides and doesn't always make it back, leaving out important information. Be prepared for a lot of homework and a lot of pre-exam studying, since much of the test material is not covered in class.

I thought Bro Pa was one of the best professors I have ever had; nevertheless, this was a hard class, but I learned so much. I was challenged in a lot of my ideas and beliefs, making me change for the better. His exams are very hard, though but he gives good weekly quizzes that help study. would take him again in a heartbeat if I can.

Bro Pacini places value in being fair. He will listen to your opinions and gives grace when he understands your situation. Yes, he gives an enormous workload, so if you're looking for an easy class, do not take it from Pacini. Take it if you're looking for someone who will push your limits with love.

Bro. Pa is a great teacher! I took this course online 2 semesters ago and got nothing from it, with Bro. Pa, there were lectures that were intriguing engaging, and the course is set up in a way where you will succeed so easily. By participating and writing notes each class day, i never fell behind & I gained so much more information and knowledge!

This class was harder than I thought for me, but as I kept taking the class the easier it got. I found that once I was able to understand what the professor was looking for, the class was actually pretty fun. I did not score as well I would have liked, but I feel that is moslty as I was not putting in enough effort as the class needed

Bro Pa is an incredible professor. But here is the truth about him and especially EDCOR310. He will basically drag you into becoming a better person as you are kicking and screaming and maybe cursing at him occasionally. But in the end, you are a better person because he loved you enough to make it hard for you. Take a class from him.

If you're looking for an easy class to coast through for credits, this isn't it. The course requires real effort, but the material he selects is surprisingly engaging. He offers plenty of opportunities for extra credit, and although the exams can be challenging, he provides strong resources to help you prepare. You will be changed by this class!

If you want an easy A then move on. If you want to get a bang for your buck course on how to be a better human being then take this class. I'm not even an education major and I got so much out of the challenging course work. If your idea of an education is a walk in the park, move on. But if you're trying to walk away changed, take this class.

Overall, I liked the way the Bro. Pacini taught and I liked how he set up his class. There is a lot of work that you have to do, but I enjoyed all of the readings that he gave us as well as all of the chances he gave us to teach. However, some of the quizzes had information that we wouldn't talk about for the next couple of weeks.

This class is hard but I have grown in so many ways. It has reminded me that I CAN do hard things. There are a lot of "readings" but a lot of that is videos to watch! The lectures are great and super engaging! BroPa runs a tight ship but also really cares for his students. Know that this class will stretch you, but it is so worth it!

This is the second class I have taken from him. Be prepared to spend the amount of time you should be spending for a 3-credit class, not less. Brother Pacini helped me understand a lot about our brains, beliefs, and myself. Don't procrastinate and be prepared to do what you are supposed to do as a college student, which is to study by yourself.

EDCOR310(Ed Psych Human Develop). Bro Pa is very scattered brained so its easy to get off topic in class, but he is very understanding of your situation (meet with him if your stuck) offers lots of extra credit opportunities, the homework load is incredibly heavy 12hrs+ weekly, there's lots of topics that are covered in very little time.

He is a good teacher who genuinely wants to do his best. The lectures are hard to follow. I was lost as to the point of what was happening most the time. There is just so much to cover and I think it is too rushed. The readings take a while and I feel like some weren't very necessary. As long as you put forth the work you can do well in the class.

I loved Brother Pacini's EDCOR310 class! It was my favorite (and hardest) class this semester. I looked forward to every class and always left having learned something new and inspiring. Many of the readings were more than just homework to me and I actually really enjoyed them. This class did take a lot of time, but it was well worth it.

He is honestly a great teacher, and really cares for the students. If a day or two are missed you do get behind. I would take him again if I have to, and work a lot harder.

Be prepared to work hard! This Class pushed me to my limits but I wouldn't trade it for anything else. It was my hardest class my first semester but it really taught me the importance of how to be a good student, a good human being/disciple of Christ and how to be an effective teacher. Brother Pacini is an amazing professor. The readings and homework he gives are heavy, but you always get something out of it! Going to his class is an adventure because you never know if you'll be playing a game designed for children or ending up in tears because you felt the spirit so strongly, but either way it will be life changing.

Brother Pacini is a great teacher! He assigned very interesting readings and taught interesting information in class. However, I thought the readings were overwhelmingly time-consuming and not beneficial for studying. I really liked his teaching philosophy of high expectations and high rewards in the form of knowledge though.

His readings killed me because 2 hours of pre-class reading was required for each class, but it was very rewarding when I finished them. BroPa is one of my all time favorite professors because you can tell that he actually cares about his job and he loves the material he's teaching. I loved this class but I am going to be so real with you: it's a lot of work. I wrote 4-10 pages of notes in 5-9 hours of study depending on the week. I filled up my whole notebook. It was so incredibly hard, but so. worth it. He's genuine, entertaining, real, caring, and very knowledgeable. Would recommend, he made learning easy. genuinely.

Brother Pacini was great; his lectures were entertaining and interesting, but a little long. There was A LOT of work for this class, which definitely caused me stress. My biggest criticism is the organization of the online class. Due dates were wrong, quizzes were posted for the wrong week, and an outdated version of the first exam was posted.

BROPA IS AN AMAZING TEACHER. I learned a lot from this class, and the things I learned seriously changed my viewpoint and my life. I really enjoyed this class. My gripes: - LOTS of homework! I seriously felt overwhelmed the entire semester. - There are a lot of moving parts in this class, and I found it hard to keep track.

Brother Pacini is one of the best professors I've had while here on campus. Beware that you need to know the material inside and out, and I personally felt that while I did enjoy his lectures, I also had to go through the textbook and use that to create my notecard rather then using the notes I had from his lectures. But toooons of extra credit!
