Great teacher. He's super easy. Take notes during lecture and use the questions in the chapter review in the textbook, they're all on the test.

Attendance is not mandatory, but if you come and take notes you will pass the class. Take notes during Jeopardy especially and you will pass the exams. Quizzes are very helpful. Most of the questions come from the back of the chapter, so review them. Plain and simple = attend class and take notes.

Ben is an awesome teacher. Very funny, super cool. His tests and quizzes are easy. He is a big Seattle Seahawks fan so get ready for that. Review sessions are fun. It's Jeopardy! I had a blast in the class, there was no class session where we werent laughing at least once. Take him if you want to enjoy class. You wont be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this class! He is a funny guy and always jokes around in his lectures. Quizzes and tests are pretty easy, just make sure you read the book and go over your notes. I highly recommend taking him for psych 1.

I have him as a professor at CSULB and he's fairly decent. He's young so I assumed he would be more fun but his lectures are extremely boring except for the videos he'll throw in once in awhile. His exams are 70+ questions, but there's only 4 of them. He's an okay teacher and a doable class.

He looked like Hercules or he could have been in the movie Troy. His class was super easy and he gives clear guidelnes to what we tested on and what we needed to do to get full points. Even though classes weren't mandatory if you went he gave you huge hints to what was on the test. take this class its super easy to pass.

His class was easy and fun! There's 5 quizzes (10 Q's easy to pass if you read the textbook), 5 papers, 5 class activities (easy points), and 3 tests (one of them is the final). Lectures can be a bit boring at times. He does review sessions before a test which is very helpful and fun. He gives out extra credit as well. Overall a great professor!

Great professor not a hard class had 5 discussion papers but he grades them easy, few quizzes based on the reading and he would tell you when you have them jeopardy for review for test easy class and he goes over the quizzes the next day uses powerpoint and shows videos overall great teacher recommend taking him.

Read the chapters before you cover them in class and always take notes. Quizzes are essay if you read the chapter they are on. I cannot stress that enough reading the book is essential always read each chapter twice. When you cover neuroscience read that chapter 4 times.

Peschek is one of the best teachers that I've ever had. He doesn't take attendance, but I would highly recommend that you still attend the class; you'll be missing out on quite an experience. The subject matter is incredibly interesting, and Peschek himself is really funny, so it comes together for a very captivating entertaining class. Great class

Prof. Ben is an overall laid back professor who doesn't take attendance after the first couple of days. He has 5 discussion papers, which are fairly easy. Only requires 1-2 pages on assigned chapter. 5 quizzes and 3 exams. The best tip is to always read the chapters before hand and to study the review sheets at the end of each chapter in the book.

His class is very interesting and you will always walk out knowing a lot of new info. If you pay attention, take good notes, read your book, and attend every class you'll get an A. He is the best professor!! Take his class! You won't be DISSAPOINTED!!

Exceptional instructor. Psychology is one of those weighty subjects with tons to remember. Professor Peschek makes it so easy to understand and fun. The textbook used is amazing as well EZ Psychology. If you do well on the 10 question quizzes and Jeopardy you WILL do well on the exam. Easiest and exciting A+.

Young Easy, laid-back professor. You'll take a quiz every other week only 10 questions and straight out of reading assignment so pretty easy. Test aren't hard as well as long as you read the chapter. Peschek is laid-back and all-around an awesome teacher. His assignments are really easy, you have to study at least a little to do well. He assigns a couple of discussion papers but they're not difficult to accomplish. He's not all uptight about petty things like some profressors, he's personable! Take his class, you won't regret it.

This class was a fun class he made it interesting by always getting us to engage in activities with our peers. I learned a lot! you pretty much get what you work for as long as you take good notes and study you'll pass!! he is not there to trick you everything he teaches is clearly asked on tests and quizzes.

Professor was Excellent. Read the book, do the exercise after each chapter and all the homework and you will pass with a smile. Quizzes come from the lecture and book. I wasnt impressed with the Jeopardy games. I would take him again and would suggest anyone needing the credit or not to take his class.

Great personality, you'll immediately love him. He gives quizzes every week based off the chapter covered last class + you have to read a chapter ahead. Trust me, it's not as bad as it sounds. He is one of the best teachers you'll ever have.

Professor Peschek is great!The quizzes you take are only 10 questions and are fairly easy. The discussion paper are about 4 paragraphs and each is worth 20 pts. The test are easy especially because he plays a review game with you before each test and on that review game there are many test questions. You need the textbook to do the discussion paper

do all homework assignments and don't miss any quizzes. he is a good instructor and he does things to make the class interested. he do give extra credit which is a big help for your grade. attendance is needed and study for chapters because everything that he covers in the lectures is going to be on the quizzes.

One of the best professors I have taken at Long Beach City College. i didn't think I'd miss his class but i dearly do. His lectures are hilarious plus he's very gorgeous to look at. And i say that as a Kinsey Scale 3 individual. YOU WILL NOT REGRET TAKING THIS CLASS! It's an reasonably challenged class with a skilled professor that makes it easy.

He made sure the lectures were easy to understand, interesting,and very funny. Multiple quizzes that are very easy if you read the text book and same goes for the exams with the lectures. Professor Ben was really easy to understand, has a great sense of humor, he will answer any questions you have and he'll explain it so that you'll get it, he uses slides and video clips to better help you understand the material. Extra credit is offered to help you with your grade. Because of this class my major is now Psychology :)

Show up to class, read the chapters, do the review on the back of the chapters, pay attention to all lectures, and quizzes and tests will be a breeze, do all your discussion papers (its basically a summary of a chapter he assigns to you) and do all group activities( they are super easy) and you will pass! I got a 78% but he boosted me up to a B.

Professor P is a great teacher. He makes class funny which in turn makes you want to attend. Homework is fairly nonexistent. There are some papers that you have to write but he is a pretty easy grader when it comes to that. Tests can be difficult, just pay attention. Extra credit is given.

He is definitely heavy on cheesy jokes, he knows how to get your attention. His power points are clear and easy to follow and take notes from. He starts with the difficult chapters in the book so when the final comes around it's on the last 3 easy chapters. There is 5 papers (1-2 pages), 5 quizzes, 5 group activities, and 3 test. He is HOT AF!

Great professor, lectures were long because I took it over the summer but he always found a way to make it fun. Very knowledgeable over Psychology and he even teaches Statistics at CSULB because he wants to help students who feel anxious about math. That's the the kind of professor he is!

Easy class. Really makes psychology simple, plus the textbook used is very easy and cheap. Hilarious guy, adds some jokes that can make the class laugh. Plenty of note taking during lecture, but it can also be done through the textbook. He also does group activities and chapter discussions based on what will be covered.

Teaches off PP, which he can share his slide if you ask. 3 exams and a handful of quiz's and discussions paper(easy & every other week). Take him you wont regret it!!

I had him for a 8 week summer class and he is by far the best professor for Psych 1. 3 major exams, he does jeopardy right before the exams which is very helpful. During Jeopardy, he basically is giving you the answers to the exams.

This was my first time taking an asynchronous class and it was super easy and straight forward. Although we didnt get to see Professor Peschek, his lectures posted online were very informative and straight to the point. Definitely read all the chapters assigned in the book if you want an A in the class.

I had Professor Peschek in fall semester 2020 online arranged time meetings. He is very specific when it comes to grading, but overall his class was cool. We had one group assignment, about 4 or 5 discussion boards, and about 2 assignments per week.

Was a little nervous taking this class my first semester of college, but loved Benjamin Peschek and passed with an A! Most of the assignments are based on the textbook (super easy to understand) and videos/documentaries. He lets you be creative, but grades according to the effort you put in. Definitely recommend taking him!

I took Professor Pescheck during the winter for human sexuality. He made the entire course easy to follow and easy to read. There is a lot of writing for this course but worth taking the class. Discussions were fun too. Definitely take this Professor for psych10 he was awesome and I had COVID in the beginning and he gave me extra days to do hw

Prof Pescheck truly cares about his students' success. He will work with students to improve their grade. The research paper is a semester long group project. Some of the work is submitted as a group but most of it is individual work. The multiple checkpoints helped keep me on track with my paper. There are a few quizzes and other misc papers.

Professor Peschek made psychology engaging. Assignments were thought-provoking, making learning enjoyable. His personal approach online showcased genuine care. Despite being virtual, attention to detail and mastery of the textbook were evident. The curriculum was impressive.

Class was really straight forward. You do have to read all the lectures, but it isn't too bad just as long as you stay on top of it. We only had one group project and it was a little weird since it is an online course, and not everyone participated. Overall he's really chill, just do the work and you should be fine.

I love Peschek! I took online class. Tests = written essays frm txtbk readg, summarize what U read & relatable experiences/eg. 1 grp drawing & grp essay. Easy class, but time consuming to read, draw, write everythg. I DIDNT DO FINAL bc I turned in FULL CREDIT WRK. I took COSA 1, Yoga & this class for 5 units total in fall 2020 & passed w/ all A's.

Professor P is a great teacher. He does a very great job teaching difficult material and simplifying it into well-made powerpoints and fun kahoots that get everyone involved. The high-level teaching and practice quiz questions simplifies the class. It was a great class for my first semester in Long Beach City College.

Professor Peschek's PSYCH1 class was manageable with engagement. The assignments can be time-consuming, but the textbook and videos make the content straightforward. Unstuck study was a huge help for study prep.

For a professor that's been in the game for over 10 years, he's still very passionate about his classes. The classes are lecture heavy and the textbook is overwhelming but his presentations makes it easier to digest the material. All his lectures are very entertaining, just be prepared to write papers and study for quizzes.

Professor Benjamin Peschek does the best of his abilities to convey the material to the class. I would take this professor again in the near distant future. He provides extra credit and great feedback for writing materials.
