Great professor, very passionate about his subject. Sometimes he'll get off the subject, but it's usually a nice break from all the hard stuff we've been doing. His tests are fair and you should be fine if you go over the book. Overall, a nice guy.

He curves really well...but have to pay attention to his lectures and read the book. Helpful and gives good examples...but his tests requires studying or at least reviewing the questions asked at the end of each chapt. He makes the highest grade an A which boosts every1 else up

wow..really really great teacher havent had one like him since highschool. gets involved and anseweres questions ...then he makes sure you understand after he ansewers them..hard work gurantees and A ..great curve..kinda funny and cool too

The class was pretty easy but the material was not. He made his test very hard but with the curve you can get a B. The material has a lot of little things to remember which can make it hard. I learned a lot but the class was very hard. But great guy really not his fault its just the material.

Weeks is a great professor and very helpful. He makes lectures fun and interesting. He tells jokes to keep people awake and keep the lecture lively....it seems the previous rater here can't appreciate Weeks' effort and probably is getting a bad grade...you do have to work hard and learn, but he is great.

If you are thinking of taking a class with Weeks go for it he is awesome

This class is hard but if you can take it with Weeks try to get him. He is friendly and fun--he gives too much work but he grades easy.

Weeks for President!!

This professor is helpful during and after class. He is respectful of your questions and patient in explanation. He grades easy. Makes learning fun. Jokes around a bit too much, but at least not boring. Very clear lectures. Overall I recommend this professor if you need a course in the sciences.

Took his virology course and I agree with many other posts when they say it takes a lot of effort to fail his class! Show up to class and you'll get the grade you want!!

Such a nice professor and I actually liked the labs cuz they were easy. I didn't put in as much effort to the class that I should have but the curve was amazing and got a B- I'm very happy I'm taking another science class with him again this semester.

im taking a class with him now and hes awesome. he makes sure that everything is done fairly and all you have to do is show up and youll pass. im taking micro with him next semester and im looking forward to it. he keeps class interesting and makes sure everyone understands what is going on before moving on to another topic. he is a great teacher

Took him for Microbiology, and I don't hate the subject anymore. You only have to memorize what's relevant. He is really knowledgeable, but he makes the course to the point, and grading is very fair. Interesting lectures. Labs require only effort...Amazing professor

Prof. Weeks is a great professor. Down to earth and approachable. If you study you will do fine..he grades based on the class' final score, not your standard grading system, which is very helpful. For ex: if the highest final grade is an 88, those people get A's and so forth. I recommend taking him

Love Weeks! Probably the best prob I've had ever, he's a great guy, funny, very smart. I really enjoyed going to his classes I had him for both micro and genetics! I highly recommend him. Study his review sheets make them the bible and you will do fantastic :) He is one of a kind!

Love him!! He is a great teacher and if you fail, drop out of school. He is very down to earth and is willing to help. He doesn't answer e-mails but you can talk to him either before or after class and he will be there to help. Loved the class, I recommend him and Im taking another course with him next semester.

Micro is not an easy course but Weeks makes it easy and understandable. He is definitely the best science professor I ever had. He explains difficult concepts really well and is funny. I HIGHLY recommend you take any course with him.

Attendance is not mandatory, very distracted professor but he is intelligent and can help you. All tests, including lab exams, were take home and easy. All answers on Quizlet. No reason not to do well. Don't buy the textbook. You won't need it.

Had him for microbiology lab. Labs never take the whole class, which is nice. They're all straightforward and he will help you if you need it. Tests are take home and are basically just case studies and a few questions about lab safety and past labs. Take him for lab to boost your lecture grade!! I wish I had him for lecture too, he knows his stuff

Legit didnt learn anything and got an A in the class. His test are all take home and NOT on google.

Hardly went to the class. He gives take home exams that you can find the answers online. His lab is cake and is lecture is too. Easy class. Final exam is a project which is easy but time consuming.

This class was not as everyone previously stated. I think he's starting to make changes to how he does things in class, in microbiology he gave our first test in class. The other two were take home. Was kind of obnoxious when asking for specifications. He's not a terrible but not the best either.

His lab is an easy A & always ends early. But u have to try in lecture. 1st lecture test was in class & last 2 were take home. The final is an easy project instead of a test :) He's hilarious during lectures & really knows his stuff. Only complaint is he doesn't use powerpoints to teach, so u have to take notes or find the powerpoints online.

He is amazing!!! class is like sitting through a comedy but he is really smart as well so on an intellectual level class is enjoyable too

Amazing professor

I took microbiology with Dr. Weeks and I couldn't be happier that I did. He is funny, smart and a great teacher! Would recommend taking his class, he is a reasonable teacher who wants everyone to pass his class.

Took him for microbio, did not learn much in the class and lecture was a bit boring but he tries to get you engaged. Hands down best prof for Micro. Micro is a hard class and he makes it an easy A! For lab he always lets you out early and youre graded on 2 open lab manual exams and His lab final is basically for you to hand in the lab manual he gives you. For lecture youre graded on 3 take home MC tests and the final is an easy project. Super nice and cares!

Prof. Weeks is very chill & laidback. He alters due dates on a whim if you just ask. He cares about his students and makes sure you have time to do your work. He assigns so many assignments for lab but, if you stay on top of it then it's not too bad. He takes forever to grade and goes off on a tangent in almost every lab. You won't learn a lot...

Class attendance at the beginning of the lecture and lab, you type in the chatbox on Zoom. I recommend getting a pdf/ebook version of the textbook; Lecture exams and the final project are textbook heavy and you can get just do 'control+f' to easily look around the textbook. If online, set a week alarm/timer for lecture/lab, we only met once a week.

Only graded by take home exams. Has a class to discuss exam questions before turning it in. Very interesting lectures, but tends to ramble. Often ends class early (very important for 2.5 hr lecture). Very accessible for office hours, spotty with answering emails. Very passionate about subject matter

Amazing professor. 3 take home exams and a final project that can be found through the textbook. His lectures were once a week and sometimes went on a tangent, but he did provide very interesting information. He is very accommodating and understanding. Recommend him for both lab and lecture! Wish all profs were like him!

This class was remote, and Dr. Weeks was more than reasonable. He gave us exams to work on by ourselves and before having to submit, we were able to discuss the exam with the rest of the class and receive clarifications. Our homework assignments were self-paced, all due on the last day of the semester. He was very approachable and helpful.

I do not know why everyone is saying he is overrated. I have him for Microbio lectures and lab and I loved him. I talk to him during class and he is such a kind man. He really cares about all of us and attendance is not required but I genuinely enjoy him. His final helped me learn more than any of my other friends did from other professors.

TAKE THIS GUY. aint gotta say too much...Hes very easy going and goofy. just do your work and listen to him. 1hunnit

Weeks is great and an easy A. Had him for both lec and lab (lab takes attendance). He rambles on for hours and is rarely on topic but you can tell he cares for his students and is intelligent. Tests are sent home and are open note and the final is just a tedious project but easy.

Prof. Weeks is absolutely amazing! He has quite some personality. During lectures he makes it funny and enjoyable to sit through. He can go on random tangents sometimes. He gives you the exam weeks in advance and lets you fill it out at home and then in class fill out the scantron. If you take him, it's an easy A. He's so genuine and easy going!!

Professor Weeks for Microbiology Lab was great!! He tells you exactly what you need to do and gets you in and out of the lab in about an hour. We never stay the full 2 1/2 hours. He definitely makes the long classes enjoyable. I most 100000% recommend him. One of my favorite professors so far.

I had Professor Weeks for both lecture and lab. He is seriously one of my favorite professors, he is very kind and cares for his students. He gives you your test a couple days in advance as a take home and you fill out the scantron during class. His labs go by so fast and they are very enjoyable, I definitely recommend taking his classes!

I had Professor weeks for both lab and lecture, I liked him a lot more during lab then I did for lecture. He is very lecture heavy and sometimes goes off topic, the class was overall really easy. His exams also are easy but make sure to study for them regardless. 10/10 professor I recommend.

Professor Weeks was a super easy professor. All his tests were take home tests and the final was a project you get to work on throughout the whole semester and it was pretty interesting. The class itself was boring but it was an easy class. You will leave the class not learning much so be prepared for that but it was an easy grade. NEED textbook!

guys, if you can have prof weeks, GRAB HIM. He is super clear and captivating in both lab and lecture. He goes off tangent and has fun, so if you're too serious, you'll get annoyed, but I found that a relief. He taught his subject in a simple manner although the content wasn't necessarily simple. Highly recommend. great guy & excellent teacher!

Prof B. Weeks is amazing! He is very informative with the use of analogies and drawings that helps with retaining information. He is helpful in lab and will assist with any questions you have have with the class experiments. For nursing/medical major, he incorporates the course information from a medical standpoint that will help for later courses.

Professor Weeks is very entertaining and cares about his students. I had him for lab and I was worried at first but he makes it very easy to understand. We had 3 exams throughout the semester and they were straight forward and came straight from the labs. He helps you understand what he is teaching. I would definitely take him again.

he's so entertaining. But! he doesn't use slides or anything he writes it all on the board, and his lab manuals are all paper and stuff. but I learned a lot. you really need to take good notes and pay attention

I'd say easily the best Bio professor on campus. He's so funny and really smart. Can definitely go on long tangents during class and lose you a bit, but he's entertaining for sure nonetheless. Every exam is take home, they're challenging but he grades them fair. I wish I could take every class with this man.

Just finished bio of aging with him. I mean he took over the class a week before it started, so I dont blame that there was basically nothing happening the first month (there was only 1 class a week). Overall a chill class, just present here and there and the exams were take home. Guy definitely uses some sort of supplement, wacky but hilarious.

Actually the best professor ive taken, so funny, took him for lab and lecture for microbiology, sometimes class was stupid, but a very easy grade, all take home tests, and he's so funny even tho class is sometimes boring. Take him if you can!!!!!
