Super fun class! He is a great teacher that makes things really easy to learn, the class isnt easy but as long as you study for the tests and do the homework, you will pass the class. Great guy! Material is from the book while the rest of the class is pure awesome. Online qizzes, daily attendance sheets, plenty of extra credit, and a few lengthy papers are in his Lifespan/Dev. class. The positive atmosphere and humor within the class isnt found elsewhere.

One of the best teachers I have had! Make sure you connect the concept to the ideas while writing journals, study quizes and the basics from the text book and you should be okay. He makes learning visual by videos and pictures, and that really helped me! Plus, he is pretty to look at.

Mr. White gives pretty interesting lectures- mostly on powerpoints. He also offers lots of extra credit and weekly online quizzes are an easy way to keep a high grade. Would definitely recommend him as a general psychology teacher

PSYC 2301 has been great! An easy A, lots of EC, a few easy assignments. His lectures are good, they're very interesting so it's easy to pay attention. I take notes because it helps me retain information. I didn't use his printout of the slides. Easy to talk to.

This teacher is super funny! He made this class interesting, and had random input on the most random stuff, but still related it to the course work. Always tried to keep the class active in conversations. Small essays, and a few papers, but easy. Like watching cartoons or a movie and having to pick out the psychology in it and write. RECOMMEND!

Awesome prof, the textbook helped me a lot more than the actual notes did. Definitely focus on vocab, but mostly on applying it to situations. Mr. White is always willing to help students. He gives lots of extra credit and the learning curvevideo quizzes definitely help, so do those! It's easy to get a good grade, but definitely requires work!

Mr. White is an amazing professor and there wasn't one single lecture that was uninteresting. I felt like every time I left class I learned something new. One of the best professors out there. He cares about his students. The homework is actually very easy as long as you use the book. The exams are over three chapters each time and as long as you do your homework, you'll pass. He gives you extra credit. One paper, VERY EASY. He is funny so the class goes by fast.

Attendance isn't really mandatory if you understand the material. Tests are over the chapter outlines that you can complete at the lecture or with the book. Extra credit opportunities all semester long. Plus he's very knowledgable, makes psychology easy, and he's funny.

This is easily my favorite class Ive ever taken. Dont listen to the negative reviews, Mr. White is amazing!! Theres easy homework and we do a lot of it on an online textbook website, which is REALLY useful because you can go back and use the questions to study for tests. Take this class!!! he is a great teacher understanding always open for office hours and making sure you have the material ! has homework journals and projects each month but they are like short questions you answer and has to be 300 words.. easy there are chaperons outlines which help so much with the test the test are not that bad as long as you do the outlines

White is a fun guy, while his lectures are broad, you HAVE to follow up with reading the chapters yourself, he doesn't have the time to cover everything. Reading/studying the chapter outlines will pass you, not just showing up to class. Tests questions are scenario-based to make you think + Topic papers easy, daily learning curves to pad your grade

Took him for Social Psychology and honestly he made the lessons very enjoyable and I feel that I learned a lot from him. The only problem that I had with the class is that every week you have an essay to write, and online homework.

Study the online chapter quizzes for the test, and use his chapter outlines for note taking. Lots of homework, but it's actually really good for studying the material and you can look stuff up in the textbook. Make sure to stay on top of homework due dates! He's such a funny and caring professor, I wish there were more like him.

Mr. White is super helpful. There have been a couple things throughout where he seemed to be tired of us but it's probably because people don't listen to him. Hands down my favorite teacher I had this semester. He does the class out of 1,000 points so doing bad on a couple tests won't kill you. Lots of practice available 24/7. Keeps an open door to talk to him at anytime. Really helps outside of the class realizing things about why people do what they do. 10/10 would take him again. Teaches very well.

The best ecampus set up / organization i've seen. He is understanding and helpful. lots of easy homework and tests aren't very hard. I loved him as a teacher (online) and wouldn't have wanted anyone else!! he also drops alot of the grades at the end which is super helpful!!

I learned so much from taking Prof. White's social psychology class. He is a good professor and you can tell he loves teaching students. The best advice I can give to future students is to study the chapter outlines !! They're seriously SO helpful and so are the homeworks he assigns. Do this and you will succeed in this class.

Dr. White was one of the best professors I ever had. At the beginning of the semester he called himself an "academic personal trainer" and he was exactly right. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be the student I am today. So caring and flexible.

I absolutely loved his class! You will not pass if you do not study and the power points are not posted online. He gives outlines though for each chapter and even though everyone complains about the heavy homework it really doesn't take long if you read and do the outlines before class. I took his General Psychology class and I thought it was super interesting. He is a great professor and keeps the lectures entertaining. There are a lot of weekly assignments, but theyre easy... and as long as you do them youll be fine for tests. Just study those. He is always willing to meet outside of class or even Skype if you need help!

If I could give him more than 5 stars I would! He is by far the best professor I have ever had. His lectures are amazing and he makes the class so interesting, never a dull moment in his lectures. Professor White is very fair and will help you with anything you are confused about. If you need to take a psychology class I highly recommend him!

I had him in the Spring during COVID and he made the transition online so easy. He set up lectures twice a week and was always willing to do more to help. He is very understanding and by far the best Professor at Blinn College. If you need a Psychology Class or a Social Class take him! Even if you don't I would still recommend him and the class.

Professor White is 100% the best professor I have had. He makes lectures entertaining, he's very good at explaining difficult concepts, and is overall a great professor. There is a lot of homework, but it is easy and helps your grade if you need it. Also his tests are very straight forward and go in order of when you learned the material. Take him!

The only thing that I didn't like about this class was that a 500 word paper was due every Sunday and I don't like writing. Other than that, he keeps lectures interesting and actually cares about you. All exams are open book which is amazing. Uses launch pad for homework which is a plus. If you do all of the assignments then the class is a breeze.

Professor White is awesome. He is very organized and tells you exactly what is due and when. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand. He is also a cool dude. I took him for general and social psychology. If you're looking for a blow off class this is your class.

Professor White is seriously the most down-to-earth person ever. He is so knowledgeable, passionate, and super fun to learn from. For this class, I bought the online textbook that we had easy weekly assignments from online. Tests were also simple, and his lectures were very interesting and engaging.

Professor White is by far one of my favorite professors at Blinn. He engages with the class during lecture, and encourages us to ask questions. He posts outlines for each chapter, and those helped me get an A in the class. He's always willing to meet with students, whether they need help or just to chat. He's a great man who cares deeply about us!

best professor ever!!! he is extremely caring and very good at explaining and teaching. he is a great person overall. i took his in person and full online class, and i have to say both have been my favorite out of all my classes. as long as you show effort and do your work, there is no way you can fail!

Professor White is an amazing professor. I took his 8 wk online class. If you put in the effort you can get an A. His class is well organized, he adds a variety of content in case you need it. He will even email you close to an assignment due date to check in, to see if you need help. He genuinely cares about his students and wants you to pass.
