this teacher is horrible always late, picks on her students and treats them like they just got out of middle school

This lady is the worst teacher in the world. She actually called me out on my papers in fornt of the class. She says she wants stuff done the right way but she never shows you the right way. As the other person said already she gets to class when she feels like it. DO NOT GET HER!!!!!!!!!!!

This lady doesn't know what she's talking about most of the time in class. She likes to put people on the spot, and yells at her students in a very rude manner. She gives us an agenda and need to follow it, and when we turned in the assignments we supposed to turn in at that day she doesn't accept it, instead she wants us to turn in the ones that's not on the agenda. And also she'll give a project to do and to present it, but she's always not prepared that most of the class can't even present.

Seriously, the most horrible teacher I have ever had my entire life! This is suppose to be an easy class and she makes it 100 times harder!She hands out a syllabus but changes everything around every class meeting so you're always confused about what's due and when it's due. She has the most horrible attitude in the world!..just a very bitter woman

Honestly to tell u,if u are not a good note taker then its over. Shes never clear. she dosnt care for teaching, and she does not clarify her assignments. If you ask her questions you are surely going to be embarrassed. Her format for every assignment is stupid and dont make any dam sense. This lady needs to relax on the assignments. DONT TAKE HER!!

I DON'T recommend her. She has terrible mood swings and treats you like crap. She will not let you ask questions and if you do she will put you down and make you feel horrible. Don't do the mistake of taking her, she made a GUST class which is suppose to help you stay in college hard and miserable. She calls out ppl in the middle of the class and says harsh comments about them. FOR YOUR OWN GOOD DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HER. she yells, and is very BI-polar. Makes the class extremely hard.

don't take her class ,if u dont want ur life hell.she dont know how to teach and how to treat the students ,she doesnt have even a 1% knowledge of anything she is dumb.If u dont have choice except her, then try to skip this class or just take other non useable class

If you want clarity, organization, or even RESPECT, do not take this lady! She will make a fool of you in front of the class for any reason! Her syllabus is contradicting to her own rules & guidelines and 9/10 times she has no idea what she's talking about. Aside from being an eyesore her teaching is poor, I dropped her with about half the class

I took her second start class Fall 2010(only 12 weeks). But she was off 2 weeks. In 10 weeks left, she attended a half, and she often came late 15 minutes but let students went home early around 3:45PM in order to 4:45PM. The rest a half left, class went to online to do assignment online at library or at home. Therefore,U MUST NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

If you are lost, do not ask her anything, she'll just yell at you. To email her, she'll respond in four days. It was my mistake that I didn't read her reviews. I don't wish her on my worst enemy.

The course I took under her instruction was supposed to be easy, EDUC 1300. However, her incompetence made it difficult to complete this course stress free. She is a very stubborn woman, who will not be wrong. She is not up to date with computer literacy so when questioned about online assignments, the answer was never clear. Ghetto. needs to smoke

She was incredibly rude and uncaring. She gave us way too much homework and she did not even explain the slightest bit. For the first time I can say that I have learned absolutely nothing in a class. She called people out in class and she treated everyone as if they were in kindergarten. I advise everyone to not even give this class a second look!

Bennie Richards was one of the worst teachers I've ever had. She is sarcastic, rude, and unclear in everything she does. If a student asks a question, she will ridicule them for it. She makes uncomfortable jokes that no one laughs at. Her instructions for assignments, of which there are too many, are always very vague. Don't take her class.

God Bless America! I paid money to come to this institute and this is what I receive. She goes by too fast. She let me know in the almost end of the semester about the lab work and I didn't even knew since. She is also not a very helpful person. She may be a sweet lady but she's not someone that I would take again for her!

Assigns way too much homework for a basic EDUC 1300 class. Does not stay on topic during lectures and is never on time. Do not waste your time with this professor and choose someone else for EDUC 1300.

One of the worst and disrespectful professor's that I've had so far. So unorganized, terrible at teaching. I had no life AT ALL for the entire 5 weeks, expect a tons of assignments and homework every single time you go to class. I decided to take this class for 5 week course, but did I regret it, one of the worst decision I could've ever made.

This instructor is very rude, she does not like questions if you do not understand something. She is not approachable, she does not like it if you interrupt her. If you need to take EDUC 1300 do not take it with this instructor you will regret it. If you are an ADA student you should not take this instructor and her syllablus is not clear at all..

I assumed this would be a easy class. The work is not hard but she is extremely particular on very small things. The spaces between sentences, the font, the size and the format. The work can be 100% right and you will fail for these reasons. There was never a clear outline of what was needed and when, I passed my A&P class but failed this one.

OMG I only set in this class one day and i knew i had to drop it. this lady has no respect for her student. we couldn't not even get though the class without her stopping every 5 seconds to tell someone about their phones. she does not like to repeat herself so please dont ask her too. unsure about HW didn't even get that far couldn't even take it.

Dr. Richards is very difficult to understand. Also, she seems to be always confused about assignments and tests. Doesnt explain things properly I was very confused 80% of the time.

She is a 100% No-no. Very difficult and penalizes for every little mistake. Ask her a simple question and you are not listening or a serious student. I totally regret. Please save yourself the stress and tears and not choose her as your professor.

DrRichards is rude sometimes, you are not aloud to bring in drinks or food and DEFINITELY dont think about having your cell phone out. But I will say, she is all over the place she forgets things but be prepared do the work, I passed with a B and I never acted out in her class. I was always on top of things I dont recommend her.

Shes also forgetful and makes petty comments when you try to correct her. STAY AWAY! Youre better off taking someone elses EDUC/ENGL class or testing out of the INRW. Save $!

She really is rude. Talks a lot but you cant understand her sometimes. She forgets things she says easily. She WILL target you if you negatively stand out in class. Her tests are matching definitions, they're easy but she uses small snips of the definitions which makes it slightly hard. She forgets to put in definitions sometimes and mixes them up.

Coming back to school after 14 years this has by far been the worst experience. Dr. Richards was rude and very sarcastic with emails. Treating students has if everyone is 17 and freshly out of high school. All instructions were very confusing. No feedback on assignments submitted. My class was online so maybe this was difficult for her.

She doesnt use a recorded web brower, she talks to you very rude . Treat u as if your in hs. Open assignment the day that they are due , expects you to get the done by the end of class . MISS SPELLING IN ALL HER WORD. All her test are made up by her. Study guide dnt match the quiz she gives you. Rating would be 0

be aware her instructions are unclear, and yet deducts points for "not following instructions" , her work seems easy but yet you still end up getting a low grade ! , I don't think she grades properly or does not know how to.

Dr. Richards refers to herself in third person, which is odd. She is rude and disrespectful. She is unclear in her instructions and deducts points for anything that she does not like. You cannot message her to ask questions. This is especially discouraging because this is a developmental course, I would've done better without. Avoid this professor.

I will 100% with no doubt recommend this professor to anybody she rarely in class, her work is not clear, she doesn't teach the stuff she grades, she's not respectful. ( I rather drop out of collage then take her class again ).

She was difficult, deducting points for minor issues. She spoke to us like children, getting upset when we nodded in agreement, saying, "Don't nod, I can hear." Points were taken off for writing Prof. Richards instead of Dr. She also claimed my paper wasn't double-spaced, even though it was. It felt unfair and condescending throughout the course.
