Terrible! she fooled me the first class because she comes across as nice and caring but she?s far from it. Most importantly, she cannot teach!A basic 129 course has turned into a major headache because of her lack of teaching.

She should stay in the research field, and stay as far away from the classroom as possible

Professor Curry is a nice + educated lady, but her teaching methods are HORRIBLE. If you're going to take her, you have to be the type of student to read the whole book and memorize EVERYTHING, WORD PER WORD (even the LITTLEST things!!!). She NEVER gives reviews and her EXAMS are 10 CHAPTERS long and very hard. Good luck if you're taking her!

She doesn't talk about the textbook in class OR TEACH. You must read every word in the textbook from cover to cover. Her tests only consist of 25 questions (fill in the blank, MC, T/F, essay) Impossible to do well in this class. She thinks this is the most important class you will ever take. DO NOT take her if you want to be in nursing and pass.

Very sweet woman but didn't teach or give notes for a supposedly easy course. If you want to teach yourself the course and have her give tests that are difficult, then by all means take her class.

im a straight A student im not lazy, she is terrible refuses to write any notes or use a powerpoint or give you handouts. expects you instead to read 7 chapter for one test & memorize every detail for the random fill in the blank test questions. save your GPA and take SOMEONE ELSE

DO NOT TAKE HER. No notes, power points or directions for exam. Went to see her for office hours and she dances around your questions. she seems so sweet but she is not. last exam had 7 chapters of reading and 25 questions and she gave NO DIRECTION on what to study. most lectures are spend talking about ebola!?!... DO NOT, DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!

The entire semester was frustrating because class is unstructured, unclear and examsassignments are graded harshly for what they are. If you're hoping to get a good grade or actually get something out of this class, I would take it with someone else.

Run for your life. she simply cannot teach and grading methods are out of this world. mush buy textbook and tech yourself. know every diagrams and every word in the book.

I would avoid her for nursing research. She is unclear about what she wants. Her tests are 10 question short answers and she doesn't give you any guidance on what you should focus on. She also doesn't teach material but rather talks about what is going on in the news that week. You will have to teach yourself.

She makes the easiest class very difficult. Her tests are fill in the blank with opened ended, very general questions and although there are many answers, she expects you to know which one she is looking for. Also lectures are insanely boring. The class should be easy and fun but with her it's not. Avoid taking her classes at all costs.

all the other reviews are pretty accurate. the class has no direction and out tests are trivial. impossible to study for.

She is the toughest professor I've had so far. I decided to take her despite all the comments I read. She does not teach at all, spends the whole class talking about the news. Her test questions are unpredictable. Her grading is 20% test 1, 15% paper, 20% test 2, 15% presentation, and 30% final. Good luck.

Never take her. She was extremely unclear with grading and didn't seem to understand her own rubric. I went to my advisor and was told that she does this every semester to multiple people. I refuse to ever have to deal with her again. Never worked so hard for such a low grade in my life.

this is supposed to be an easy introductory class where you learn about history and policy. I know so many people that failed because of her and had to wait another semester

Don't take her. there is no way you can pass her class. she will test you on the most tedious detail from the entire book with no guideline!.. i am a straight A student, barely passing her class after studying HOURS for her tests while she talks about the news the whole class time.

Most unnecessary class this program has to offer: full of information about the nursing profession, yet it's information that does NOT warrant any exams (or a cumulative final). This professor exists to make nursing students' lives more miserable, by not going over anything in lecture, then expecting them to memorize the textbook. DO NOT TAKE HER!

don't ever take her, don't read the book it won't help her tests have nothing to do with the book she doesn't go over the chapters is not accessible outside of the class and doesn't care to help you. its 129 supposed be to a beginning class not a 300 class

This is the worst professor I've ever had in my entire college career & it was for a class that should've been an easy A. We have a 3 hr lecture and speak about things going on in the news for 2 of them. complete waste of time. she probably has went over the class material for 60 minutes through the entire semester. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO PASS

She is sweet, but shawty straight up TALKS for 1 hour and 50 minutes. I feel like I am not learning because I am a visual learner. There are no power points and no review sheets for her class. There are no resources to study from except for the textbook. There's so much information in the textbook and she does not break it down for us.

Do NOT take her !! Im telling yall right now dont do it. Nurs129 is supposed to be way easier and talking to other students in other classes, thats exactly how it is for them. Prof. Curry is a sweet lady BUT she doesnt teach at all!! I know more about her grandkids then the nursing profession. She just tells you to read the book and thats it.

Her lecture consists of conversations about current events pertaining to nursing and an extremely brief talk about the material she requires you to read for each class. She does not use powerpoint nor will she point to any specifics just says if you read the book you know whats on the test. Beware she does add nonsense questions to the exam.

This is the worst class, I ever took in all of my schooling. I never failed a test or left a a class with a "C". Everything your reading about her is true. Don't convince yourself that it wont be that bad because she is the only professor at 5pm. Again DO NOT TAKE HER!! NO EXAGGERATION!!

Everything you are reading is true. This class is ridiculous. She is extremely vague in lecture, about assignments, and on her grading rubric. She will lecture for 15 minutes of the 2 hour class. Provides no real feedback on anything. Takes forever to grade. Study exactly what's said in lecture and get background from the book. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!!

She is a very nice woman but don't let that fool you. PLEASE I BEG DO NOT TAKE HER, you will end up throwing your money down the drain. Took her 2 months to grade a 3 pg paper. No notes, lectures do not make any sense. IDK how I study for her exams. I will probably be waiting another two months to get my final grade

Avoid this professor at all costs. She's nice & cares about her students but will not prepare you at all for exams or assignments. She doesn't teach material from the book, every lecture is just a recap of what's going on in the world health wise. Test questions are either from the book or about random topics briefly discussed in class, so awful

Absolutely horrible. Took this class online and her not being great with technology did not help. The other reviews are right, all she does is talk about current events and does not go over any material. Be prepared to study and read the textbook for hours on your own just to receive a mediocre grade. DO NOT TAKE. Horrible introduction into nursing

Do not take this professor. She does not teach or provide any help to you. You need to read the textbook and even if you do you still have no idea what's on the test. She does not teach at all. She just goes on tangents about random things in class. This is the worst intro to nursing I think I could have ever taken.

The worse professor I could have ever taken my whole nursing career. Talks about nothing the entire class, can easily end the class early but talks about nonsense the entire class. Should be fired honestly, if you are stuck taking her good luck. You will learn nothing, waste of time and a class.

She is a very nice and caring woman, but there is no direction given on course content, no preparation for exams, & very few assignments carrying the grade. It's a 2 hour class and only 15 minutes of the class is going over the actual information you need to know the rest is her talking about random things. If I can give her less than a 1 I would. The worst teacher ever, teaches nothing during class and is a huge waste of time. It so frustrating hearing other kids passing research with flying colors and I am stuck with the worst professor in Molloy. If you value and care about your grades do not take her!

Horrible professor!! She is so difficult for no reason and gives no room for any mistakes. Take her if you want to waste your money and fail. She talks all day about nonsense and then gives you such difficult exams. One of the worst professors Ive ever had. All I have to say is save yourself the headache and money and take someone else.

Where can I find a 0 to rate her, horrible teacher do not take her!! My one question is how does Molloy let someone like her be a representative for nursing. You will only pass by the luck of god. She made an easy class so difficult dont take her and if you do good luck!!

If you have the chance to get out please do so. Exams are terrible. You will feel blind sided no matter how well you studied. You learn absolutely nothing which sucks because Molloy is expensive. Expects students to attend office hours. Also expects you to know information not taught or on the syllabus. Only good thing I can say is she is kind.

Let me start this off by saying that she is the worst professor Ive ever encountered in my whole existence. She doesnt give any materials to study with, so we find ourselves blind-reviewing EVERY exam. Not to mention, she teaches a whole different topic than what is on the syllabus. All of the negative reviews are for good reason. She has 0 structure to her class, rambles about useless topics and tells you to just read the book. Her grading is asinine all the while expresses wanting to help you but is completely inflexible. Trust me, save your grade and your mental health. Avoid her like Chernobyl.

This professor talks a lot & most of the time goes off-topic. She doesn't provide power points on the lesson, she expects you to read everything and doesn't specify what the future exams will hold. Her office hours will probably give you brownie points, and ask questions because she is very unspecific with her tasks. Paper & pencil exams

Avoid her if you can. She lectures about nonsense and tests on nuance knowledge. The only way I got an A- in her class was because I made an appointment with her every single week during office hours and would listen to her tangents. If you get stuck taking her, office hours and class participation are required to get the A.

Do not waste your time and money buying that textbook or reading it! She will test you on the most random things she says. She will test you on ONE thing she said ONCE. Her tests are HARD and she's STRICT on grades. There's a paper and oral presentation. She also doesn't give grades back for months. I am an A student and this class felt impossible.

Bernadette Curry is the worst professor I have ever taken. She takes months to give grades back, her lectures have nothing to do with nursing. The tests have questions about things she brought up ONCE in class. She does not use powerpoints. If you have the opportunity to take this class with another professor I definitely would. Transfer out ASAP!
