D2L opened a week early, so I was able to start early and she did not mind. There is a group project but because I finished everything early, she put me in a group with other people who finished early. I would definitely take her again as she is highly organized and very clear on what she is grading or looking for

Content & Assignments & D2L all very organized. There are 7 assignments with clear due dates in D2L available one week before class starts. After completion of the individual assignments, students work in groups to complete a Microsoft SQL Project that has 7-8 assignment links to show completion. The most highly organized teacher I have ever had.

If you're taking ANY computer classes at OCC, I'd highly recommend this professor, especially online. If you're the type that cannot learn without speaking with a professor every week, then you may need a different one. But if you're like me, who enjoys getting the content and working at their own pace, then you should take this professor!

This professor's grading criteria is very clear. As long as you complete assignments on time and follow the instructions, you'll do well. Additionally, she was readily available to address questions, typically responding by the following day. Lastly, there us one group project and she groups you based on when you submit assignments. This is a great class to learn about SDLC and diagramming, as well as how to respond to typical job interview questions. There are only three projects: one is to write a paragraph supporting your position, the second is creating diagrams and the third is to create a checklist. I learned a lot about what to expect to do in the real world.

I am not sure what personality clash an instructor would have in an online class. She was great and very understanding about late assignments but told us we had to put a comment in Blackboard not email as the college requires the comment in Blackboard. If you were having a hard time with diagraming she would meet on campus or by Zoom.
