INTERESTING LECTURE...EASY FINAL..AWESOME CURVE

He is a little egotistical and talks about himself alot, but he is nice. His tests are 100 T/f questions. Study the book!! can be tricky, and if you are a girl, take him!

One of the BEST of the BEST professors at Baruch without a doubt. Learned so much in his class especially the daily current events and the nightly readings. Party at the end of the semester is surely an unforgetable one!!!!

He is a very funny Professor. You need to study very hard for his lecture notes and textbook. 2 exams only. I got 75 and 88 on each exam and he gave me A- as the final grade

Guy is a great teacher. You really gain practical knowledge from his lectures. He has not had a single class that bored me. His 100 T/F test was a surprise. But if you do the work, you will do just fine. If you can, take Iatauro.

His ****ed jokes are funny, but can sometimes get out of hand. He makes class interesting. Grades exams on a curve-highest grade on the test= A. Study from the textbook, his exam questions come directly from it-he even has page references. Overall, good teacher-I heard he's great for BPL as well.

There is NO attendance, hw, projects. Come as you please. 100 T/F midterm 50 T/F Final. Midterm is harder than Final he gives about 20 point curve I got an 83 on the midterm got an A in the class. Take good notes thats about 20% of the exam. Easy class no stress no hassle. Funny guy, chill class

nice guy... very very very funny.. but the way he gave the exams is ridiculous... he gave the midterm on nov 23.. and the final 2 weeks later... i believe he should give less exam questions and material on the test. he should give more than 2 exams.

Excellent Prof. I would recommend this professor for 9700. Tells lots of stories, but they fit the subject.

He's a great professor. You'll acutally remember what you learn. Exams are literally out of the book. Very funny and enjoyable. Really teaches the what you need to know in management.

I can't believe more people haven't rated him. He's one of the best professors.He teaches things you really need to know once you graduate and you'll remember more from this class than any other and actually use it in life. Try and get him, his classes fill up in about 5 minutes.

what he teaches doesn't appear on the exams (10%), every t/f question comes straight from the book. you just need to read the chapters he tells you to and you should do fine. grades on a curve. got 80 on first exam and don't know how i did on 2nd, but he gave me A-.

His lectures are helpless. All the tests are from the book (100%), just have to read it in detail, memorize from beggining to end. Doesnt take attendance - thank god! really no point to come to class.

Nice and funny professor, but the class requires a lot of work

Prof. Iatauro is the best. This class is a lot of work. It's the most work i have ever done in college. However, Iatauro is hilarious, he is a good professor knows what he is talking about and i learned a lot in the cases. Presentation, midterm and final and a final group project. And of course the simulation.Party the last day

He is the best prof. You have to work hard in the course, but it was worth it. Great stories, I think that I learned more in 6 weeks that I did in the entire 4 years in college. And the party at the end, great. take him and you won't regret it.

If you have a sense of humor but are willing to work hard, take him. BPL is a tough course, regardless of the professor...you might as well have some fun during it. He's great, the presentation doesn't count for much so no stress. He's helpful, funny, and teaches what really matters in business. Study for the midterm and the final...they're detaile

I did not take his class but I was taking it with some else and I needed some help with simulation and he helped without any question..thanks Professor..so I believe he is very helpful and he knows his subject.

Bernie is great, he has a great sense of humor. I took him over the summer and i have to admit that i had a great time in that class. I learned a lot from the cases and he is a great professor knows what he is talking about. The party at the end is great. This class is very tough, i did the most work i ever did at baruch but it's worth it.

No attendance & let's u pick when u want to take the exam. No HW or assignments. Very funny and keeps everyones attention throughout the class. Some of the stories he tells seem pointless, but they are funny anyway. He gives another perspective than the normal professor, seems to have much more real world experience than most other teachers

Very nice and entertaining. He is clear and funny. You have to read the book for his exams but he is an easy A otherwise. Very fun and easy class.

Bernie is THE man! These bad reviews are ridiculous. As long as you do the work, the class is fine. This is only one of the VERY few professors that actually makes the class interesting and makes you want to show up! He brings his personality to the lectures which is AWESOME. He's hysterical and down to earth... unlike most boring, dry professors!

Yes, like a lot of us who had taken his class know that we have quiz almost every class, however, if you read those articles he give you and you will be fine. At least he's easier than other prof. for BPL. The class is not boring at all. Of course you got to study for your midterm and final since they come from the books("T" or "F").

All of those bad comments are rubbish. Don't listen to them. I Would take his class anyday. He does his Job, you'll learn, and he tells jokes that relates to what he's talking about. Not many professors can teach and relate to students as well as he does. He gets my approval

This prof. is the man with the plan. Eventhough he looks like (Saddam Hussain when he came out of the hole) it's all good. He got a fresh haircut at the end of the semister (tell him that!) class was a little bit boring, he made it funny a bit with his Pumba accent(Disney's Timon and Pumba? LOL)whatsup with the 70's looks on the book, it looks old.

I am taking him this semester. Besides his weird clumsy looking, he is a great guy inside. He always prepared and gives easy quizes each class. That's to your own benefit. Helps keep you on track. Simulations are fun to do and very team oriented. Make sure you team up with smart teammates.

A professional in his field. Brilliant mind. Very informative and passionate about the busniess world. VERRRRYYYYY FUNNY. Unique. His teaching style is very enjoyable. I would take him again anyday. You can learn a lot from him. Be open because he'll be honest and give you honest but helpful comments. The readings are very helpful so read it!

quintessence of a man who knows his stuff. thought when you first meet him, you'd think he's the janitor or something--grumpy looking--but you'll like him as soon as he opens his mouth. he's been through tons of experience, humorous, and he made a sat class fun to attend! im def. taking him for BPL (learn about the beer industry!)

TOP QUALITY. VERY INTELLIGENT. YOU MUST TAKE NOTES AND READ THE INTRICATE DETAILS OF TEXT BOOK TO GET AN A. NOT A CHANCE IN HELL YOU'LL SLEEP IN HIS CLASS CSE HE IS HILARIOUS. VERY FUNNY. I WOULD TAKE HIM ALL THE WAY TO DOCTORATE LEVEL IF I COULD. TONNES OF REAL LIFE EXAMPLES TO BACK UP MATERIAL.

Iaturo is quite American. That means he has brovado, some coarse humor and a gruff manner. He is also probably the smartest teacher in Baruch. Don't be fooled by his ways, he can pick apart a person with a few words. I got B in the class and I thought his class was the best out of all the other classes and I scored higher in the other classes

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Professor IATAURO is the best of the best. Great class & great man. I was happy to go to his enjoyable classes.He is smart man, and thanks to him, you will better understand the STRATEGY of the business world. His process of teaching and his daily cases are very effective. I already took this professor twice. Just loved it.

Takes a dry subject matter and makes it come to life with his hilarious lectures and tales of past management/teaching experience. Ridiculously easy True/False exams that someone off the street could get an 80 on, so it's basically they're guaranteed A's if you study the book and lecture notes.

He's really funny, makes lectures interesting and keeps everyone awake with his interesting personality

I actually leanred A LOT of stuffs from his class,..even tho some of them r not actually related to the lecture,.but i'm actually more interested in those knowledges than lecture itself!,Whoever dare to talking crap abt him gotta step over my dead body~~..he is indeed one of best prof in baruch

Berny is a trip!! I laughed every day in his class. Tons of real life experience, friendly and funny. Definitely take him if you have the chance.

He teaches the class easily and simplified the hard material. Do not understand why the people give him bad rating. If you want to get an A, take him. Just pay attention to the class. You can get an A!! Good luck!!

Agree with previous comment. If you want a good grade, he is the one. Just start reading the chapters from the beginning and you will get an A. Great man and kids are taking advantage of him.Easy A or A-

I took it in the summer of 09, it is a very intensive class.He gives alot of reading however they are very informative. I took this class and Spanish, work fulltime and still managed to get an A in the class. Its only 5 wks and it goes by very fast, don't over think it!

He makes subject interesting...good guy

I don't know if he'll be teaching Operations Management after this semester, considering everyone is switching to Service Management.Class is SO easy. He's interesting as hell, even though his lectures are tangential. To pass, just READ the textbook. 100-T/F questions that a left-handed retard could ace. I'm going to take him for BPL also.

Some parts of the lectures could be interesting, but may get boring at some point too. Make sure you read the chapters cause thats where most of his T/F questions come from. He looks like a biker or something, yet i remember him saying he has several advanced degrees, which i thought was kind of odd, lol

The guy is really crazy, he likes what he teaches and lectures for the full class. Sometimes its interesting and sometimes not. Overall i enjoyed the class, attendance wasn't mandatory but i still ended up going all semester. Take him if you can from what ive been hearing his class is a lot easier than other MGT 3121 courses.

People who complain are the ones that never went to class or are just just dumb. I never met a professor who was so helpful. Go to him after class and ask him anything. He is one of the best ever. You get a 60 on the test so the professor is bad? I don't think thats how that works.

If you want to pass this class you have got to read the textbook. This professor likes to tell stories, some interesting and relative, some not. He is helpful, knows his stuff and has lots of experience in the field. T/F tests but you will only know the material if you read the textbook.
