He's very excited about the material, goes at a very fast pace, and makes the material interesting. He's also very helpful during office hours but it's impossible to study for his midterms since he doesn't give out homework solutions.

He is a good teacher. People who failed also failed to show up to class. Everything is straight forward and he lets you use notes on the tests!! Stats is all about putting info into a calculator, if you put the formluas on your note card you will be fine. There are professors that are worse, so I would go with him.

Great guy! Wants to see his students pass. Come to class, study for the 3 midterms. Do well and you wont have to take the final. Also do the webwork cause thats an easy A. Only bad part is the $80 calc u need to get. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

This professor wants you to pass. Many people who do bad in this course simply did not attend class. Sample exams are posted on the course homepage and they are basically what is going to be on the real exam, except a couple of numbers are changed here and there. Learn how to use the TI-83 and you can easily pass this class with no struggle.

Good teacher, if you do not understand his lectures just make sure you devote some time to read the textbook. If you are happy with your grade at the end of the semester, you do not have to take the cummulative final! If you wanna get something out of the class and a good teacher with moderate HW, take him.

Abrego really cares about his student's success. If you do the sample tests on his website before each test, you'll pass the class b/c they're very similar!His class was EASY, just do the the extra work;sample test, h/w problems [he doesn't grade it, but it will really help you out during tests]. If you are lazy, I wouldn't recommend this class.

I hate math! So if you despise math I recommend this class. He cares about you and your grade. Curbs your grade, online homework is very easy, and the quizzes are only 2 problems. Attendance counts. At the end if you are satisfied with your grade, you don't have to take the final. Just don't take PROF. FULLER

Loved this guy!He's laid back and cares about his students grades. His lectures are clear and he tries to make it as easy as possible. His quizes are few and easy. Homework is online & super easy. He has sample mid-terms that are identical to the real ones. You dont have to take the final if youre happy w/ your grade. he made me like math.

He speaks with an accent, but is easy to understand after the first class. Teaches very well, makes statistics seem as easy as you can, and does his best to relate the material to real life. Allows an index card of notes on every test,and if you do well enough you don't have to take the final.Also grades on a good curve. Great,not scary math class!

He's an O.K. teacher. He's a professional Rubic's Cube solver; can solve it within a minute. Those of you who play rubic's cube can challenge him on your free time.

This class is definetly hard but he does his best and makes it as easy as possible. If u attend class on a regular basis im sure you will pass. A TI 83 in MANDATORY!!!!!!! You with defiently struggle w/o one. Unlike other teachers he teaches u with it rather than doing it by hand

This is a very difficult class. I love Math and Ive been pretty good at it but this class was very tough. Dr. Abrego is an excellent teacher though! Thick accent but understandable. Lets u use a notecard and gives sample tests. Also, u dont have to take the final if u dont want to! Overall, he is really good, the material is hard...go to tutoring!!

Its Statistics, its hard! 1. Take Notes, 2. Have a partner, 3. No how to use the TI-83, 4. Do the Webwork, 5. Do the practice test, 6. Tutoring is optional if you really dont get it, 7. Dont get too confident if you do well on the first exam! 8. Make the notecard with as much possible info for the the test, 9. Ask Mr. Averach if you dont get it, in class!

You will do really good if you study practice exams and complete homework. The subject is not easy, so it's really important for you to be in class. If you don't get it, make sure you go to tutoring centre and ask them questions. Dr. Abrego made me like math through this class. He made the subject very interesting.

ok its not THAT bad really. i truly suck at math but i managed to get a c+ i was only absent once and my tests went from a d to a c to a b because i studied. i advise you to go to class and do the webwork it will balance your grade :) take him.

Explanations were easy to understand, the homework was online, he puts up practice tests, does examples and answers everyone's questions. He curves the final grade in the class and does not require you to take the final if you are happy with your grade. He does everything in his power to make it possible for people to do well.

Anyone who says he is boring just does not see the fun of it all. his accent is hilarious yet if you know spanish you will be fine. the homeworks are a bit hard yet managable. the tests are extremely easy. he does some laughter but minimal. i do reccomnd him as he is seen the best prof there.

Show up to class, take notes ( you don't even need the book..most of the stuff you need is on his powerpoints.) Hw is easy, and even gives practice exams before the test (also lets you use a 3x5 index card on the exam.) Very nice professor, too. He's a pretty straight forward professor, show up to lecture, take notes, read and study, just like any other college class. Tests are pretty straight forward and he allows a note card during the test which is pretty cool. TI84 is a must, you can't pass 140 without one.

Prof. Abrego is definitely one of the best math teacher's I've had to date. He explains everything so clearly that as long as you take notes and do the homework, you shouldn't even need to study much. Unfortunately, a lot of people did poorly in my class as they were never paying attention or taking notes, but that should not reflect his teaching.

He is knowledgable professor who speaks clearly (with an endearing accent) and is invested in his students' success. Show up to class, do the homework, and study hard and I guarantee you'll succeed. I am no math genius, but finding out I got in A in this class made all the hard work worth it!

Abrego is a good teacher. Although the class is difficult, it is not his fault, its just the way the class is. You must attend to lectures, read, and do the homework. A lot of personal effort is required. He is a good professor. Just make sure to study prior to tests and you will be all right. You will pass if you study.

Lectures are interesting and Prof. Abrego explains calculus very well. If you do web-homework and problems from the book you should be fine in the class. Attendance is mandatory.

I literally saw him during every office hour getting extra help on math problems. He explained the material very well, and never judged me for getting so much additional help. Calc II is an extremely hard class and he really does a great job at explaining the nature of the problems. It is obvious he loves to teach and loves math. Great teacher

He is very nice his exams aren't to hard. He really enjoys teaching. I didn't like his lectures much because he would basically just use the examples from the book and lecture that. but if you study you'll be fine for his exams and the final. I would most definitely take him again.

One of the best professors who can explain calc 2 and make it easy, obviously he loves the subject. Explains every little detail with a proof ( and that is a good thing). Exams are easy. Highly recommended to take for calc 2. Just show up and do the homework and you will understand the subject.

Amazing professor. Made Calculus 1 way easier than I expected it to be. I like that he gives time to show us the proofs (although it's not tested). Helps you understand the material intuitively and visually, not just memorize formulas. 3 exams, no midterm, 1 final. I found the exams harder than the final. Will take him again!

If you're being taught math by Dr. Abrego, then consider yourself fortunate. His passion toward the subject is contagious. Calc 2 is more material heavy than complicated. He helped most student accept that fact and figure out away to deal with it on our own ways. "A" formula: Work hard and show it to him, participate, participate, participate.

A very nice professor who is clearly passionate about Maths. He knows everything there is to know about what he is teaching you and rarely makes a mistake. Everything is described in detail with little bits here and there from the textbook, which is rarely used in the classroom, although you may need it for review or for the online homeworks.

Took him for Calculus I and decided to take him for Calculus II for a reason. Only about 1/4 of the class is difficult, the rest is a breeze! Just show up to class, pay attention, and do the online homework and yo should be prepared for the exams.

I honestly don't know why his reviews are so low. He's a good math teacher. He goes through all the steps and answers questions. You do have to put in the extra work and study for the tests, but as long as know how to do the problems on the study guide you'll be fine.

I LOVE Dr. Bernardo Abrego's teaching style. He is very enthusiastic and sometimes a little silly. Overall, he's a pretty chill guy. Like that one meme of "chill guy". I think that is of great resemblance of Dr. Abrego's character and smarts. This guy.... has got some brains!
