GREAT teacher...you'll learn a lot. Have to study, but its worth it. very nice

tests based on book; really good lecturer; fun class!
fun class, relaxing class
lots of slides to learn, very nice teacher but need to study
good class, great teacher
Real cool teacher. Don't take her being cool as being easy. Have to study !!!
sarcastic teacher, when she agrees with you, she rolling her eyes also
sarcastic at times, study her slides for test and u'll ace it!
Good teacher. Very clear on what she is saying. Makes the class interesting and is interested on how her class is doing. Cares about her students.
Great teacher!
One of the best at State! Listens to student feedback and teaches material in an interesting way. Get a good group for your project and try to be creative and include new information. She hands out candy to the best group! Print lectures and bring with u
SHe is a great teacher!! Class is always fun with her! She helps students as much as she can! Makes class very interesting, enjoyable and fun!
Awesome teacher. Make sure to go to lectures b/c that is what most of the tests are based on. Gives study guide, and goes strictly by that.
Great teacher! She's very good at lectures, makes class interesting. Just listen to lectures and review her study guide and you're set. HW is easy!Do yourself a favor and take her.
this class is a bigger joke than having schwartzenegger as our governor
this class is pretty chill. Not really any homework to speak for, the exams are easy if you study. She is very intelligent and has a lot of insight and experience in the business world. She used to teach at Cornell!!
Great teacher. There should be more like her. She teaches youand she is super cool. Just because she is cool though, test questions check to see if you know the information. Study and you will do fine.
it's no easy A, but people seem to do very well in her class. she's very nice, enjoys teaching and seems to care for her students. 3 test and a final, almost 0 hw and drop lowest test score. Take her if you can
excellent teacher, very cool, straighforward and clear.
Best teacher I had this semester. Easy B or A. Definatly recomend!!!
An expert in her field. She used to consult for various organizations. I highly recommend her. Her test are very predictable. Her class goes by fast and you usually get out early.
Great teacher, gives specific guidelines for each class and tests. Know what to expect, great sense of humor and knows what she is talking about. very recommend.
She was OK
Pretty easy course with straightforward material- my advise is don't take the one with 250 students! Find a section with a smaller class size otherwise it's just dumb.
I found her pretty clear about what she expected and what we are to expect as students. Straight forward lectures, somewhat tricky but not to bad tests. Good teacher.
I thought she was okay at first. Her tests are hard and confusing. After that I thought she was a ****.
She is an interesting person and tries her best to keep the the class interesting too, which is pretty hard considering such a boring topic. The book sucks. Her tests are okay but the material gets to be very confusing. She will prepare study guide 4 test
she sucks, her tests are very confusing, don't take her
she sux, dont take her.
She provides a study guide but it doesn't help. easy to comprehend lectures but test time comes you think you have the right answer turns out its wrong. Trying taking another professor if you can if not then stay in her class it'll be a long semester.
I love her, except on exam days. :) Seriously, she has very tricky exam questions. She gives out a study guide, which helps, but only a little.
she's really chill, you get out of class early, tests are NOT tricky, i don't know why people are complaining about her. if you study, you'll do fine.
She's easy to follow in lecture, but her exams are another story. I understand the concepts (in the book and the lecture notes), but she makes you go an extra step to find the answers on her tests. It's tough to tie the two together.
Same as others have said, seems like an easy class until exam day comes around. The tests are very tricky as they are not typical exam type questions. Can be hard to comprehend. Study guide not much help. Lectures are decent however.
Fun class but really confusing tests. She doesn't curve grades but drops the lowest test.
She makes confusing tests and I think she's a ****. She is also good at lecturing and being happy eventhough plays on the act as being fake.
Pwr point slides for lecture. tests are moderate difficulty. memorize slides and you'll ace it!! Fair, nice, entertaining, good class and professor.
this was such an easy class, only 4 tests and she drops the lowest score. very easy homeworks, do them so you get the points. make sure you study, but you only have to study a little. i am not an A student, but i got A's on the tests.
One of the easiest classes I ever had at SDSU. If you take good notes, especially the examples she gave in class, and you read the book before the exam, A is yours. Always 2 bonus questions for each exam, I can't complain anything about this class.
4 tests (drops lowest), easy-a$$ HWs, cumulative final. powerpoint lectures, which is easy to study, but I couldn't figure out if the questions are from her lectures or the book. her lectures are easy, but not understandable some times. she's really nice.
Take this teacher! 4 tests, drops lowest. HW is a joke. She follows her powerpoint. Straight forward. Tests are easier than you think. You still have to study though.
Her test are confusing and her final is comprehensive very tough professor. I suggest to look elsewhere for a professor. Although she is nice to talk to and approach.
dont take her. her lectures are ok ( gets her power point lecuters from book's website). her tests suck a$$. very confusing. hws are very easy. dont need to go to class. overall she is a nice lady. just take someone else!!!!
very very easy...go to class and take good notes. If you don't get the concepts just look it up or ask her. It's super easy and she's nice.
Super easy. Yeah right, she has lots of trick questions on her test
Never went to class after I got a B on the first test w/o studying. Finished with a B, which I deserved, because I never ever did anything extra for this class other than take 3 tests, and do 4 hwks.
good instructor....hardly went to class and got a B. Know the study guide and you should be fine
Lectures were not bad, but the class sucked. Trickey questions on the tests. Easy homework to boost grade. Read and know study guide. Retain details for test, they are very specific questions.
Great teacher and willing to help people out that ask. People that did bad probably didn't study. Easy B, with extra work, get an A.
I loved her, she really listened and tried to make class interesting. 3 tests and a final and you get to drop one of your tests, she gives bonus points (participation is a must to earn) and 4 homeworks to help you boost your score. She is really great!
CAKE.
Take her for 350. She makes it easy to pay attention in her class and it isn't that hard.
conceivably the best teacher i've had at sdsu. she's awesome. she's way overqualified to be teaching here. you're an idiot if you don't take her - a complete idiot.
pretty easy class, bonus pts help out a lot allows you to drop one test. hw assignments bring up your grade, she one of the best teachers i've had at sdsu
great professor! her tests can be a little challenging, but u will definitely learn a lot after taking her class. although it was the only class i didnt get a solid A in, it was my favorite class
good class, lots of points to earn. she is a great teacher. tests can be a little hard but just listen and read.
class is super easy, but very boring, take class if you want a easy teacher but, dont take her if you want to learn, all she does is read word from word from power point, super boring
She's a terrible professor, but an easy class overall. Dont need to go to class, just get lucture notes online, u'll learn a lot more by reading them yourself rather than hearing her read each word to you.
Passed w/ a B+ and didn't even try that hard. Go to class for bonus points on PRS clicker, every point seriously counts! Study Powerpoint slides, she says you need to know the "concepts" & "apply" them not only definition, but as long as you know examples of def. you'll do fine.=)
Do not take her unless u have no other option. Tests are tricky hard and are broadly covered by lecture which is extremely obvious and boring.
still need to log in the hours and do the work, READ topics on review sheet, take advantage of extra credit, come to class and take good notes, GREAT professor coz she actually cares
Very nice teacher! She is funny to help release the stress. Easy to follow definitions but she goes very fast through the lecture. Tests is not difficult if you read the chapters and understand all jargons. you will do fine if you read and make notes for yourself. Not hard if you try.
Seriously, she's a dope teacher compared to other teachers and she's pretty interesting, just do readings and go to class and HW is cake, we do crossoword puzzles and fill out surveys. In class examples w/ students are FUNNY especially the "clapping/booing," anyone in this class knows whats up "420
She breaks topics down to be easily understood- write EVERYTHING down from lectures-sometimes small things will come up on the exams; she is a good prof who gives you the grade you earn (extra credit available); assignments are short, and couldn't be any easier; great class for those who want A's
Waste of time.
Great lectures, but she is a hard-ass grader.
I should start be saying that i dont like large classes in lecture halls but she made it interesting, engaging and sometimes even funny. Very loose style, always had good examples, tests pretty easy. I liked her. Good luck.
Dont get me wrong, this class is pleasant and funny and easy material, easy homework....but the tests are TRICKY. situational instead of definition, can be subjective! I got a C minus! My third C in 120 units slash I dont often get them.
don't like about it
Good class, lots of valuable concepts; which will assist you in the "real" world. Read "prior to coming to class", "come to class", and take good notes. An "A" is achievable if you don't fool around in class, pay attention, and do both the homework and clicker questions (which are bonus points).
this class is just a compliation of every management seminar we will re-take when we actually become managers, b/c we will forget everything by then. interesting enough, but tests are hard. she is funny and talks to you rather then lecture at you
Not a bad class, she's pretty interesting. I only managed to get an A- though... studying the power point slides isn't enough, you'll have to read the textbook.
okey prof! have to read the book, get all necessary notes, and you'll be fine..don't have to go to class at all times..
A very interesting class. She is a nice, funny lady. Test were not too bad. Make sure you take good notes off you powerpoint and read. Test are multiple choice and straightforward. Easy Homework points. I would recommend taking her.
The best professor ever! She introduced games in class for our better understanding. Her lecture was also better than any other class.
Tricky exams. I did not like this class at all because of the situational questions that she made on her tests.
She makes class fun and is very helpful. She also gives easy points to boost your grade. There aren't any projects or presentations. Study the powerpoint slides and the parts off the powerpoint that are in the book and you should get an A.
No presentations, no group work to turn in, easy HW. Tests are not straight forward at all! All questions are application type! Lots and lots of theories...It was easy to get lost because she doesn't spend much time explaining how to apply those theories.
she was great! class was interesting and short a lot of times. gives you a study guide well before the test, just study from slides AND BOOK and you will do great! hm is very easy and there are 2 ec questions on each test!! take her if you can you will learn a lot!!! i got a b+ but could have done better
Professor is very organized. Good, informative lectures. Material is easy to understand. Study her powerepoint slides. Some need for book but lectures are most important.
Super easy class. Simple lecture/test format plus some of the easiest homework ever. Just study her slides (use book to elaborate on slide material) and it should be an easy A. It helps to go to class because she leaves some stuff blank on slides, but you don't always have to attend to get an A.
Great prof! She keeps her lectures interesting and relevant, and usually lets class out a little early. Attendance is not mandatory, but you probably won't need the book if you download the notes and come to class regularly. I really enjoyed her class. Take 350 w/ Prof. Chung-Herrera!
I <3 THIS WOMAN!! Prof. Chung-Herrah is the best MGT 350 prof. ever!!! Her lectures are interesting and very relevant to real world. Her tests based on slides posted online and a few thigns from book. Want to do well, make flash cards of each concept and vocab and add real life examples, since her exams contains mostly Real-life situatns.
She is a super nice lady and an extreemly nice professor.. learned a lot in a easy class...cant really ask for more.... on that note... be sure never to take pawar and especially raafat..they suck....hard
Prof. Herrar knows her stuff but the hard part it the amount of info. one needs to recall in taking the exams. Be ready in taking good notes, better yet highly recoomand taping letures and going over power point slide to a tee in studing for exam. First test & final was HARD. Be ready to study alot inorder to be ready to get good grade.
Very nice woman. Buy the book! You need to remember a LOT of stuff for tests. Her TA is sweet but incapable. Don't bother emailing- wont get a response
Wonderful professor! Class is super easy. Lectures are pretty interesting and if you follow along you will do well. Goes over notes quickly, but definitely doesn't bore you. Notes are on BB w/ a few blanks you need to fill in. Concepts are easy to understand and tests are to the point. I got an A- and didn't work too hard for it. Take her!
Easy to follow. Test are not really easy but are not hard either.
She is a good professor. But her exams are only based on the concepts not much on definition. I got confused in most questions, a lot of concepts relate and that is wat through me off.
Prof C-H is a great prof. for mgt. No group presentations, just 4 tests and 4 HW's. Go to lecture and take good notes on all examples, bc that is what all of her tests are based off of. Really nice prof., helpful, and never boring. Interesting topic, too. I would def. take her again for mgt. Highly recommended!
Dude, awesome. Hands down one of the most useful classes I've taken so far. Very nice lady. EASY class. Just show up and learn and you should have NO problems doing well, unless your like me and bomb the final. TAKE HER!
One of the best teachers I've had at state. Class was interesting, went by fast, and tests were straightforward. Study the powerpoints/read and you're good to go!
Cool lady, highly recommended. NOT BORING either!
Professor C-H was awesome. Very cool, very nice, very in-tune with students. Try not to miss a class, tho attendance isn't mandatory, take good notes (she provides notes on Blackboard) beyond just filling in the blanks, and pay special attention to applying the concepts. Exams were easy enough - review the notes, skim the chapters. Easy class!
Best teacher EVER! 3 exams and one final. drop lowest midterm! easy hw points. She is by far the greatest teacher and a WONDERFUL person!
Professor is young, dynamic and definitely easy to understand. Homework is easy and mostly consists of short surveys. Lecture slides can be printed out before class. Exams have a lot of material on them. On the first exam I got a 78, which scard me, but then after I knew her test structure, I followed with a 92, and a 99 for the midterms.
You do not have to go to class, but I suggest you do in order to get the good notes. They are deffinetely enjoyable lectures, this teacher knows what she is doing. Difficult test, I studied my a$$ off for a B.
AWE-some professor! Go to class, complete easy assignments, do well on 2 of 3 tests, and do good on the final = Easy A. Read or skim through book before exams & read all book cases for ex credit. I got an A-.
TAKE THIS CLASS. go to class with printed out slides, take notes, make study guide off of what she tells you to study and you'll have no problem. HW is easy, lectures are enjoyable, good examples.
Good class! You MUST attend class as 99.9% of the four exams are based on lectures. Reading is assigned but not required to do well unless you want to clarify notes. H/W is easy....automatic 24 points. Lectures are interesting. You must know concept definitions and examples for exams, which are relatively easy. Take her!
Good Teacher, makes class interesting. Tests were tricky. Need to ensure you really know the concepts and what she is trying to get across. Got a 63 on the 1st test but then kicked the studying in gear and pulled an A-. I would recommend her.
Grades pretty low on everything. Do NOT expect an easy A. Exam is really hard. Keeps attendance.
Professor Chung-Herrera was great. Her lectures were interesting and she was clearly knowledgeable on the subject. You definitely need to go to class and possibly read the book in order to do well on the tests. TAKE HER!!
Prof. Chung was a pretty good teacher. Lectures were pretty boring...take it with someone you know. The material really isn't that tough but she makes the tests tricky. I didn't study much for the tests and still got an A- overall. HW is easy. Have to got to class for lectures. The book is only used to reference a few things and the extra credit.
You need to go to class to get the notes. Her examples and the ones in the book are KEY to doing well on the tests. HW is easy. Extra credit test questions most likely come from the class videos and "hot trends" in the book. Class isn't bad, she usually lets you out early. DEFINITELY take her.
Must take her for Management! You need to go to class because you have to fill in the slides or get them from a friend then you dont have to go. Just make the study guides and read them and you will be fine on the tests!
Beth is a nice lady. She comes to class well prepared. The lectures are somewhat boring though. She does cite examples to all the theories that she presents from the text. Still boring. She does make study-guide for all exams. It's a boring class but if you show up and read the book you can get a decent grade.
She is a very nice prof. you should always go to class to take note and fill out the blank parts of slides. there is 4 test, the lowest one will drop with 3 easy homework. The tests are extremely hard. With just studying the note you wont be able to get a good grade. You should study the book and note and be able to analyze all different situation
Probably my favorite teacher so far. Her class is extremely easy. If you go to class and take VERY detailed notes with her examples and fill in the study guides you will be fine. I got an A and I didn't buy the book. She's very clear and helpful, I loved her.
3 MC/TF exams, drops the lowest test grade, one MC/TF final. Exams are somewhat tricky. Make sure to print the Powerpoint slide before class and take detailed notes in class. Book is optional, but it clarifies and expands on her lectures, plus the extra credit questions on exams come from the "hot topic" sections of the book.
nice teacher...low book use..4 exams with lowest exam dropped..take plenty of notes..class wasnt so hard but exams are somewhat tricky and even when i thought i did well on some of the exams i usually managed only a C..
One of the best professors at SDSU! She is smart, funny, and very knowledgeable about the subject! You should go to class to get lecture notes but can probably get them from a classmate. A few tests (she drops one) and a final. This was my favorite class!
She cool, extra credit on book question, test a tricky just study and it will be a good B, if you want the A you should get the book unless your good at tests, then you won't need it.
Chung is super easy. I got As on two of the midterms without even really studying. I hardly read the book. The final is harder though, STUDY for that one since it has a conceptual part to it. Strongly recommend this teacher. She really knows her stuff. Also, almost always 15 min early dismissal.
BEST MGT 350 professor! Unlike the others, Beth doesn't have to follow a grade quota for A's-F''s so it takes the pressure off of the students. 3 exams (drops lowest) + final (cannot drop). 4 VERY EASY hw assignments. All exams based mostly on PPT lecture so attend. All test questions from the study guide. TAKE HER!!! Got a B.
She is a good instructor. She explains very well the material. She uses a lot of powerpoints. But the hard part are her exams, very confusing and tricky. Must master her powerpoints very well!!!
Amazing, passionate professor. If you didn't get a good grade, it's because you didn't take good notes and study. Very straight forward - Easy A
She’s real cool business professional with a lot of experience and it shows with the way she carries her lectures and huge auditoriums of students. I actually enjoyed attending her lectures but FYI, her exams have a lot of ?uestions that require additional studying than her PP slides suggest. No chili pepper on her? wow guess just me.
Her class isnt bad if you are just trying to pass. If you are trying to get an A, you are going to have to put in a lot of studying. She RUSHES and speaks WAY too fast during lecture! Expects you to know several lists and what everything means, you really have to master her slides. Not an easy A at all! Wouldnt take another class with her.
She is not one of those professors that just reads off slides. Her lectures are interesting and engaging. Exams consist of T/F, MC, and matching. Most of the MC questions are conceptual, so you actually need to understand the material. If you put in the work, you'll be fine, as is the case with almost every other class.
Could be an easy class, she just reads off the slides. Make a clear study guide and study hard! I thought this was going to be so easy but it ended up being much more difficult becuase I needed to really memorize more before the test... otherwise easy class
Three tests (drops lowest) and a final. No quizzes, four super easy assignments that everyone aces. Ended up with an A- but could have gotten an A if I tried a little harder. Did well on the first two tests and decided to slack off on the 3rd. Bad choice because the final is cumulative (80% of it is new material, 20% from previous exams).
Professor Chung is an amazing professor! I wasn't very interested in the subject going into the class but she makes it very interesting. She is also very knowledgeable on the topic. Everything you need to know for the exams will be said in class. She speaks fast so you really need to pay attention. I would recommend bringing a recorder.
Professor Chung is awesome. I loved her lectures and reading material. She is so understanding and really makes a point to go the extra mile as an educator. What a great experience!
She is really good and helpful
Easy class. Should be called common sense 101. The tests are really the hard part. Questions are incredibly vague, lack context, and have multiple right answers. Professors like Chung structure their tests this way so they can get their desired grade distribution and keep their illusion of legitimacy. Welcome to upper division.
Easier than other MGT350 classes.Professor Chung is an amazing professor!Three tests (drops lowest) and a final. No quizzes, four super easy assignments that everyone aces. Ended up with an A. Textbook purchased online is Super EXPENSIVE, You can get a cheaper one from SDtexty.
Love her lectures! :D Nice looking too, had a hard time to focus
Super easy class. Homework is really easy, the tests are fairly easy.
She is a great professor, you learn everything you need to know for exams by just showing up and paying attention during lecture. Which is how I would like ALL professors to teach. Attendance is not mandatory but you miss out on material if you don't attend. Lectures are interesting and intriguing. Take her class, you won't regret it.
Prof Chung makes class interesting. She drops your lowest test score and the tests are pretty straight forward, a lot of application. Does four homework assignments that are really easy. Makes study guide for the test and she sometimes let us out early.
4 exams and one is dropped. Easy A. Just show up to class and study everything she says.
Great professor, study powerpoints to pass exams. 4 small easy assignments. 3 exams and a final, drops lowest exam grade. Gives you a study guide for the exams. Provided a great learning environment.
The only person to take for BA350. You can pass without the textbook, her lectures are very informative.
Didn't really need to buy the book. Everything is based on her lectures. All testable material comes straight from the lectures. She talks fast so I would recommend getting a really good recorder to record her lectures so you can reference them later and makes notes. Pretty Much it! Dresses super hottt!!!!
the tests are tough, the lectures are interesting. Don't buy the book save your money.
Took her for diversity and loved the class. Tests aren't particularly difficult. Just be sure to study her slides and pay attention to the main points of the in class videos and guest speakers. I found her lectures to be interesting and she is more than willing to help students who need additional clarification. Also, be sure to participate!
Her tests are not that difficult if you read the book and review her slides. She is a tough grader when she grades the group presentation and the paper.
Beth is clear cut. He lectures are somewhat interesting, she goes off a powerpoint. I thought it was important to go to class. She has three homework not worth very much and super easy. Interesting class, and she has 3 tests and a final. The lowest test score is dropped. The tests are tricky and exact. Overall a good class!
Her lectures are pretty boring and she goes through them really fast, so dont hesitate to ask her to slow down. Three exams and one final. She drops the lowest out of your three first exams. Make sure you complete the homework assignments because those are an easy 32 points. Exam questions are pretty ambiguous
Never bought the textbook. Make sure you are taking notes during lecture. 3 exams, lowest is dropped and a cumulative final. Very little homework. Very difficult to get an A even if you get 90 on every exam. Offers some extra credit questions on exams. Course kind of seems to go all over the place and each exam has tons of material to study.
Definitely take Chung! She's awesome! I've never learned so much in a class before. The info is really interesting. Gives amazing study guides that are pretty much exactly the same as the tests. 3 midterms and 1 final. Drops the lowest midterm. 4 HW assignments (super easy). No group projects, no quizzes, no papers. She dresses really well, too!
Professor Chung is an amazing teacher! Possibly one of the best I have taken at state. Her lectures were interesting and based off of the textbook which she edited herself. The exams aren't hard, however sometimes tricky. There's a lot of information but she drops the lowest exam score. Definitely take this teacher, and there's no group projects!
She makes her lecture very easy while her exams are way difficult to handle. Her exams questions are based on applying theories into real-life examples which it can be hard sometimes. Very tricky, not recommended!
SHE IS THE BEST. I seriously almost considered switching my major after taking her class. Her lectures are so awesome and fun and she makes everything really easy to understand! The only problem is that it is kind of hard to get an A in her class. Doesn't have a lot of opportunities to get an A. Her study guide really helps for each test!
She was a good professor! To pass you just need to attend lectures and take notes and complete the study guide she gives you to prepare for tests. To get an A you can also read the assigned reading to get more examples about concepts. Tests can be a little tricky but overall doable. Class is interesting
Dr. Chung is a very good professor and lecturer. Her BA 350 - Organizational Behavior course is not the easiest to master, but it is passable. If you take incredible notes during her lectures, you will find that most of the exam questions will derive from those notes. You should definitely attend class, or you will be lost.
Prof Chung is very passionate about her material. Her lectures go by really fast because the material is interesting. Her tests are not hard or tricky, there's just a LOT of information on each one, so COME TO CLASS. Her test questions come directly from her lectures. Bring your laptop because she talks FAST and everything she says is on the exam.
She gives out a study guide for every exam, which 3 midterms and 1 final. You should create a google doc for the study guides and invite your classmates to contribute. 4 HW assignments. No group projects, no quizzes, and no papers.
waiting in line for the DMV is more entertaining than this class. She is probably the worst lecturer in terms of teaching the material. I tried so hard to stay awake but couldn't because of how dull she is. Class isn't too difficult, but recommend taking the class with a different professor. overall, one of the worst BA350 professors.
I have no idea why everyone is saying this class is easy. This professor focuses on the dumbest things in class and then tests you on the most random fun facts covered. The tests are 90% of your grade and whether you study or not doesn't matter. She is irritated if you go to her office hours for help and any question's reply is "its in the book".
Terrible
Her lectures are interesting but her tests are so difficult! I always walked out feeling like I got a perfect score and ended getting C's and D's!
Just dont take her. I walked out of each test thinking I got an a ONLY TO SEE I GOT A C EACH TIME! She is terrible and vague. Lectures way too fast and doesn't seem like she cares since she only teaches this one class on this time slot.
The subject can be boring, but she is super passionate about the subject. She uses real world examples to keep students engaged during class. Each class you take notes off of a PowerPoint. The tests have a lot of material on them, but nothing too hard. She is one of my favorite professors at SDSU!
I didn't like this class :( imo tricky tests. Your grade is basically all just tests. Pros: easy homework only 4 times in the semester. Cons: TESTS
The class is pretty straight-forward. Homeworks are reallyyyy easy and she drops one exam! I would just go to lectures and take good notes (ESPECIALLY examples) and definitely use the study guides that she posts.
There are 4 homework's that are extremely easy (mostly personality tests) and 3 tests and one final. She is really kind and a great professor, focus on the little things she says in class that aren't on the powerpoint (like research and statistics), because those are normally on the tests. I am a transfer student and thought this class was simple.
This subject is actually really easy, however I'm convinced that every professor who teaches this tries to make it harder than it seems. This is my 2nd time taking this class and I decided to take this professor but she's not any better than my previous professor. I'm not sure what advice I can give you- all the professors suck for this subject.
The test seems easy but they're tricky. On the other hand the few homework that she gives is so easy. There would be random in class assignments to motivate students to come to class and earn those points, but they're easy to do. She invites a CEO as a guest speaker.
Pre-recorded lectures. Requires webcam for exams. Do not take.
This class has been a struggle to get through for me. I personally don't think that the information is that hard to grasp but tests consist of questions taken from the most specific parts of her lectures (things you will likely miss). Also her tests are timed, Lockdown browser (camera and mic on), and no notes. If you take her, good luck!
This class had no business being as difficult as it was, but I think Professor Chung is the best choice for 350. Homework is really easy but tests are tricky. Pay attention to the little details she says in her lectures and just make sure you understand the concepts, you'll do fine! Finished with an A and never picked up the book
The material isn't hard but she makes the tests so unnecessarily tricky, with questions about tiny facts or statistics she mentions in lectures. The partially cumulative final is ridiculous given how specific she is. Luckily she drops your lowest midterm, homework is minimal/easy, and some extra credit is offered. I'd try to take someone easier.
Requires lockdown browser, but that forces you to work for your grade. With the excellent weekly 20-40 min videos she provides, this is easy work. Just watch the vids a few times, and you will pass. I didn't even read the book. I just watched the great lecture vids, and I comprehended the material perfectly (unsual af tbh for me lmaoo) yes!!!!
She loves to throw in tiny details into her lectures that aren't on the slides and then put them on the exam. Additionally, the sheer amount of information she gives us for each exam is just insane. I feel like this class is a memorization game of the 5000 terms she presents to us. Not fun, and way harder than seems necessary.
I enjoyed the professor's lectures. Fun & an enthusiastic lecturer about teaching the course, but, her study guides are basically the headings for every slide. Her exams cover small details mentioned in the lectures but not on the slides. Not all information in the slides are IN the slides, so you have to go to class. Don't miss a day of class.
No group project. Take her.
This was one of the only classes I didn't mind going to. Exams are heavily lecture based, don't miss class. Her course is applicable to reality and you can tell she wants her students to pass. Genuinely one of the best professors I had at state. She requires a textbook, but I only used it about once. Great class, take it if you get the chance.
This class drives me crazy. Each lecture is her just slamming us with endless concepts. It all seems self explanatory, until she gives you the definitions for the terms - they're obscure and annoying. The entire class revolves around memorizing what she says, it is not enjoyable nor helpful.
Great professor. Easy A/B. There's a lot of stuff in the lectures that's applicable to real life, but there's also a lot of terms that you need to pointlessly memorize for exams. Notes are super important for the exam. Don't buy the textbook, everything's in the lectures. Has 4 easy HWs, exams are 75% of your grade, lowest (non final) is dropped.
I actually loved this class. She is incredibly organized and teaches in a way that is easy to comprehend. Her examples are perfect for understanding. I suggest bringing your computer to class and writing down everything she says - what she says will be on the test. She keeps the class interesting the entire class time and she grades pretty easily.
I really enjoyed taking this class. Basically no homework, all of it is easy A. Lectures are very important, the stuff on the test is all on the notes so don't bother buying the textbooks but try your best to make it to class every day. Basically just have to study all your notes to get an A but if you do, the tests aren't hard.
This was my second class with Professor Chung. She is a wonderful professor. Her lectures are based on PowerPoints, but it's important to go to class for the exams. She includes fun exercises and interesting videos at the end of lecture. The group presentation about diversity practices in a company wasn't bad, grading is clear.
Professor Chung is a solid choice for BA350. Her lectures are very good, she is very descriptive and everything she teaches is on the test. She always shows eagerness to teach and help. Her tests are more on the harder side, but if you study and put in the work you'll feel like you earned your grade. Not much homework and no quizzes!
Go to class or get good notes from someone. Shes a passionate lecturer, knows the topics well. 4-5 homeworks that are easy, based on the notes. The tests are not bad if you study the study guide and know the terms. Study guides are long so dont wait last minute to study/fill it out. You need to know how they are applied, not just memorization.
Chung is very straight forward with the test material and leaves little homework to do. This class can be challenging if you don't study for the tests a day or two before.
Chung is AMAZING -- the most understanding, diligent, learning-focused instructor I've experienced. Her assignments/exams are completely learning-based -- as long as you attend class, take notes, and study, you'll do great. Everything is application-based. Just don't get her textbook, as it's unnecessary unless you miss a lecture.
I loved her so much!! She is the reason I switched my major to management because this class was so interesting and she shows that she really cares for her students. If you miss a lecture, it is hard to recover from it because all her test questions are based on lectures. She doesn't record lectures either, so make sure you go.
I LOVED her. She is so sweet, understanding, and passionate. Some of the material can be repetitive and boring but this was such a breeze. One essay, 3 easy tests, and a final project. This was a great elective and she is such a kind person. Expects a lot out of the final project so start early!
SUCH a good professor, really knows her stuff & will make lectures interesting & easy to pay attention to. Take good notes on her lectures & review them before tests and you'll do well in this class no doubt. As a manager at my job, this class genuinely helped me succeed in my professional role!
4 tests that makes up most of your grade, lowest one gets dropped. 4 easy homework assignments for the whole semester. You have to study for the tests, but the material isn't difficult. Go to class and take good notes and you should be fine. Not a stressful class at all
amazing teacher, loved her lectures and she is so knowledgable and knows what she is teaching and talking about!
MGMT 475. An overall well balanced course and to the point lectures. 5 Quizzes w/ 5 questions + about 40 question midterm + 40 question final. One group project + self reflection assignments. You have fun learning in this course and the pace + workload is totally manageable. Everyone should take this course. She is just an excellent professor!
Great Professor, Very easy class, Attendance is mandatory, great lectures 4 tests she does provide study guides 1 group project
She's a wonderful professor and has short lecture videos. The quizzes were short with one midterm and one final, which was all multiple choice. The group project was fun and overall it's not too demanding of a course. I would definitely take her course again.
The teacher is very knowledgeable and truly cares about her students. The only downside is the lectures are very heavy and if you miss one it's hard to catch up. She gives like 10 examples of one word which makes you study so much for the exam. The class is not common sense you really need to pay attention.
The class material was easy. It seems that the course is common sense but it actually isn't. Even though attendance isn't required I highly suggest going because she gives "random facts" in class that are on the test. So take notes on those facts. "Research says.."(keywords).
Great professor, but for me, this class was hard! During her lectures, everything made a lot of sense and I suggest you go to them because her exams are based all from lectures but I usually scored low on them because the way the concepts are given to us is so tricky. I still liked her though and enjoyed the class.
Attendance is not mandatory in her classes, but most of the things that you'll see on the tests are going to be from the class, you would think that her exams are common sense but they aren't, I highly recommend you to do the study guide that she gives you.
