Very knowledgeable. If you show up regularly, she makes the information easy to remember and the final is optional. Class participation and videos make the class interesting. One of the most educated professors in the department. I highly recommend taking her 101 class.

Very knowledgable in her subject area. If you show up, take good notes, and study hard, the class is fairly easy. However, I agree with the comments about her belittling students. She consistently gives statistics as to how many of us will fail her quizzes/tests. It's just who she is. If you can get over her personality quirks, you'll do just fine.

She brings up fun and interesting facts that she believes we will enjoy. She does, however, waste time on lecturing on lack of class participation and on how many will fail. When she sticks to the material the class goes smoothly and you do start to enjoy it, when she stays on task though.

Ms. Finders is a funny teacher, she keeps on saying how hard all her tests are going to be, and how everyone will fail, yet no one does. Very clear, very knowledgable, but takes Psy way too seriously.

she is super fine. I never thought an older woman could be so hot. she is also extremely knowledgable. she helps you to learn a lot. I wish she taught more classes. overall from what my friends tell me about the other psych teachers, she is the very best teacher there

B Finders is a great teacher. You can learn a lot from her class. Everything is clear, but she covers a lot of material in a short amount of time.

Online quizzes are extremely easy, however, she is very irrational about their flexibility. Regardless of the average time the quizzes are open to take, they are often due one day prior to finishing the chapter that they are over and they close at 10:00p.m. You better make PSY-101 your number one priority, like she thinks it ought to be.

Ms. Finders teaches a great class. She is a lot of FUN to watch and very intersting! I learned a ton about psychology and life. If you have a chanceto take her class, you should! You won't regret it.

Finders is awesome. This prof has a cool no nonsense attitude and i like watching her rag on the slacker students in the class. It's actually easy to ace her class. The final is optional. She uses the overhead the whole time. She's a highly educated woman and wants to pass on her knowledge.

Loved this teacher. i only saw her at orientation for webct, but WOW! Thi teacher is smart and makes sense and she is very helpful online. If you are stupid, she will let you know that too. I love the class and her!

I love this teacher! This is the first Psyc class i have taken were i feel like i am learning something that i will be able to use in my career. The only annoying thing is how she constantly talks about her intro class! She thinks everybody should have been in her intro! Other then that she is great!

Finders was the most interesting teacher that I have ever had from high school through 1 year of college. She makes class fun and she is a hoot to listen to. Seriously recommend her!

She really annoys the crap out of me. Finders expects the whole class to talk back to her during class and she can NEVER hear our responses! We always have to repeat ourselves several times before she gets it. And the first day of class she made us play the name game. Good lord I thought this was college, not high school .

This teacher is the beat I have ever had. She makes everything clear and anyone who does poorly it is their own fault. This class teaches about everything including life and how to approach problems. She is awesome!

She counts on your attendence, and attention. Don't try to zone out, the whole class will get lectured. She tries to get you out early everyday. Keep your book open during class and highlight. She tells you everything that will be on the test. She inserts little tidbits of life lessons. She's funny. I reccomend her if you don't know much about PSY.

This might just be the best teacher ever! She is hysterically funny at times and explains everything clearly. She tells you exactly what to study. some people fail, but that is because they don't study. She is really, really good and gives a fun learning experience. Highly recommend her.

This class was so much fun that it was like going to a party. We laughed our a..es off a lot. she makes psych something you really get and applied to the world in general. You never get that from a class. At least I never have. She is a REAL teacher, like born to be! I would take her for every class but I hear she only teaches the intro class.

I just took this class and Finders was so great.She gave extra points for attendance when bordering A and B and she bumps up if you are within a couple of percentage points. Its in her syllabus and I forgot she does that. That means you have to go to class, but it's all good, it is fun. Laugh a lot and have a good time in class.Imagine that!!!

Amazing teacher. I had her last year. She might be the best teacher I've ever had at SCC. The reason I enjoyed her class so much is because I applied myself. She will work with you if you participate. She really knows her stuff and is amazing at her job. (tip: you wont have to take the final if you have an A and good attendance towards the end)

I had Prof Finders for the online 101 class and it was a good experience. It was clear and organized and knew the due dates as well as the short essay questions from day one. There wa no way to do poorly unless you were just lazy and did not meet the deadlines. There was about a week for each chapters work and it was a fair amount, nothing crazy.

Awesome! she is very funny and loves her job i didnt think i would care about a psy class but i loved it with her, she will make u think and waits for the class to answer a question she asks not just tell you. if you do the assignments and participate in class u will pass! she answers all questions and likes it when you ask them.

Extremely good teacher. She is very clear and great at explaining things. But slackers beware, this is a semi-hard class, so if you are taking this just to get a social science class, forget about it. You have you actually try. She has online quizzes over every chapter, most of the test questions are T/F, or multi-choice, with usually a short essay

Just saw my grade for my intro class..got an A. I thought it was going to be impossible, but Finders guides everyone through with what to focus on and what to spend their time on studying. This was a GREAT class. One of the best ever! She has a great personality and students like her. I actually liked going to this class.

She has very tough tests and she takes a lot of information in the book and puts it into the exam. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF NOT READING THE BOOK. I made this mistake and almost failed her class but I read the book and started my way to passing the class she is very clear and concise but overall she is very straightfoward.

she acts like shes really hard to scare people,but she tells you exactly what she wants.her test you need to study for but other than that its a pretty good class.she moves fast and you need to be at every class basically.theirs alot of online quizzes but their open book and if your good at that stuff they really help out your grade alot!

I had her for my online psychology class and she was great. Unlike my other online teacher she was extremely helpful and clear about the assignments and always graded assignments quickly.

She is an awesome teacher and makes it easy to retain information. READ THE BOOK, she will through in questions that you had to read or else you will not know. She's very smart and has awesome stories that made me look forward to going to class. Tests are hard but if you do the extra credit you end up getting over 100 on them. Final grade over 100.

For Abnormal Psychology summr class, she decided that she wasn't going to make use take notes, tests, quizzes, or final... Just show up and we have a weekly paper with lots of discussion. Kind of pointless, but you get credit and it's hard not to get an A. I enjoyed her intro class much more.

The abnormal psychology course is the most interesting thing I have ever been a part of. Imagine we get to talk and learn through active ways. It is pretty unusual but really advanced.

There is the a..hole guy in my class who is failing cause he never shows up and he said he was going to post crap about her. She is really cool!

I have Professor Finders for PSY 101 and it is a really good class. She is clear and organized and not so bad to look at. She dresses great!

I just finished the term with Professor Rigoni. She is by far the best instructor I have ever had. Class was lecture and discussion and I mean discussion. You will talk if you don't plan to. She is funny and has a certain something that is hard to pinpoint, but it is kind of WAY COOL. Everyone talks about her style, but she's smart.

I loved professor Finders' class. It was interesting and understandable. She has a bold personality but it was something I enjoyed! You need to participate and pay attention in class. She was very clear with what she wanted and that was very helpful. I thought she was great!

I am in the eve 216 Abnormal section and I thought a nice class would be tedious and boring. Prof Rigoni has made this an educational journey that has truly been enlightening so far. I can't wait for more! Engaging to say the least!

This class could be tough if you aren't in it to win it. Be ready to do your work. There were online discussions every week and it was very crucial to participate and also back up your theories and answers. Extra credit available. Book is a must. Finders will give any help needed. Sometimes she didn't explain things clearly.

Very assertive. She gives you the chapters the test is over and you better read them. There are 4 tests for the semester and this is what your grade is based off of. No homework. No quizzes. Just the tests. She lectures quick and likes everyone to participate. I liked her but nobody else in the class seemed too. Not easy, but not hard if you study.

Finders was an excellent teacher. She was very down to earth and also not only taught us psychology but taught us life lessons. She gives you the grade you deserve so be ready to work hard for it!!!

Beth is one of the best professors I have had in my 3 years of being at SCC. She makes you work for your grade but she makes class fun even at 8:30am. Your grade is based off of 4 tests but if you read the chapters she tells you there is no reason why you shouldn't pass. She also doesn't make you write a psych paper like other professors.

I took her at 8:30am and she was always so energetic and funny. I got a lot from class time. I was never bored. I loved taking class with her. Your grade is on 4 tests. Two tests are take home and open book, the others are in class. The take home tests are very hard, but they're open book. I highly recommend taking a class with her if you can!

I took Professor Rigoni Finders class in fall of 2017. Online for 8 weeks. It was very intense, but I thought she didn't ask too much out of her students. As with any college class, it was demanding, but if you were motivated to complete your assignments on time, and participate in the online discussions, you get the grade that you deserve.

Professor Finders was by far my favorite this semester. She keeps the class interesting and makes you want to learn more. One thing that was a little unnerving is that your whole grade is determined by four tests all year and she does not give homework. Overall I absolutely would take her class again. I loved it all semester.

Prof Finders makes her whole online course available to complete from day 1. This was great with my heavy work load i was able to work ahead on my downtime. I have taken a several online courses with SCC and Prof Finders was by far the most tentative teacher.

Easy A !! All assignments except for final are made available the first day. Each week you have a learning critical thinking test(3 questions) and a text over the chap you read. (15 questions) the test arent timed which is amazing.. you can exit and come back. you get 2 do overs for each test... this is a easy A. The final is 200 questions 3 hours

Prof. Finders was amazing! It was my first semester back at college after being out of school for 11 years. She made it very clear what was expected and when things were due. Read the chapters and youll do great. All of the questions to quizzes/tests can be found in the book. As long as you do the reading and class work its an easy A, IMO.

I took Professor Rigoni-Finders online course in the fall 2017. It was so clearly organized. Each module had a quiz and a video quiz along with a shirt activity. There were interesting discussion questions each week pertaining to the topic. She gives feedback to each student and motivates everyone. She is honest though.

FInders was a good teacher and not only that but was AMAZING with emailing back within the same day. I took the online class so that was really helpful and not only that but it was an easy A and if you wanna do something over the summer then I would def take this class. There are due dates and the final is easy just stay prepared and you'll pass.

TOOK THE ONLINE CLASS over the summer. Organized, fair, comprehensive, transferring back to Truman. I would recommend anyone to take this cource from Rigoni-Finders. She gives great feedback and answers all questions timely.

Highly recommend this class. Professor Finders is so smart and interesting. Most of us enjoy going and even for the early morning classes she is energetic and engaging. She does expect interaction and gives the students a hard time who just sit there and not interact. She makes us better.

Taking the online class and am actually learning. She has a very organized class with clear expectations. She replies back quickly and gives help where needed. She sends out weekly updates, reminders, summaries and creates an online discussion board that is very active.

I am in the online class and it is organized. She gives feedback quickly and makes everything available the first day. We can work ahead. Some get mad because they missed assignments and she wont reopen them. She shouldnt. The class has a solid discussion blog each week that makes us think about a topic and write about it. Worth it.

Just finished the online psy 101 and had to rate this professor. I have never had a class that was gave so much feedback and offered opportunity for extra credit every week through discussions. Organized is an understatement! I know what needed to be done and the prof sent weekly overviews and reminders and feedback. Real good class!

I have had a few online classes, but this was clear and straight forward. Professor Finders gives lots of feedback and even had a mid semester conference with everyone. She does a lot more than most from what I can tell.

I took an online course with her for PSY101 and I highly recommend it! It was super easy to pass and the only way you could fail is if you blatantly do not read the assignments. We used launchpad and it was really effective for me! By far, she is the most interactive online teacher I have had! 11/10!!

I have had a few online courses and this is by far the clearest with the most interaction with other students. Discussions are not required, but extra credit and those who do participate are very involved. The instructor interacts with everyone. There are multiple methods of grades with video activities and learning activities. Well done class!

I liked knowing what to expect and consistency throughout the course. It is demanding. Lots of assignments m, but extra credit offered weekly.

Highly recommend this course. It is so organized. She replies within the hour. Offers a discussion weekly for extra credit. They are interactive as only those who are interested participate. Lots of opportunities for grades. It takes some time, but gives a nice overview of psych.

I just had this summer class. Ended up with a B, but could have had an A if I did the extra credit discussions. My fault totally. She kept reminding us. Good class, clear.

This class was just a lot of class work. It was very easy to maintain. She gives you so many chances to get extra credit! I loved being in her class. She also sends updates with the new chapter you are learning that week.

I really enjoyed my Psychology 101 class this semester. I loved learning about it, and would always know who to go to if I had a specific question.

I am a adult learner returning back to school. I have a busy schedule and didnt think Id do well in this online course, but Professor Finders made this class very enjoyable and I would definitely take it again. I also recommend her for your next PSY-101 class

Prof. Finders was great. The class was not hard at all, but there is a ton of homework and other assignments every week. Prof. Finders was kind and quick to respond to questions. Quizlet friendly course. Weekly SmartBook style assignments that take about 90 minutes each. Quizzes are a little subjective and that can be frustrating.

Took online PSY 101 with Finders Spring 23. She was great. Everything is clearly laid out in the syllabus, so know what is expected of you to do well. Class was asynchronous, so you could work at your own pace, so I finished 2 weeks early. She sent weekly messages regarding the topics of that week's assignments and reading, and a brief overview.

super easy. Everything is available to be completed as soon as the class begun. I finished it in 1.5 weeks. The weekly assignments are so quick and I could do multiple weeks a day.

Professor Finders' PSY101 class was engaging and manageable. The weekly assignments were quick, and the content was thought-provoking. I found Unstuckstudy and other study tools like Quizlet very helpful for acing the quizzes and exams.
