Great professor with a super sweet demeanor. She's a little old but I couldn't pay attention in class. She has a Slammin body! Still managed to pull an A amongst other things in her class.

she is sweet and enthusiastic. in fact, i got excited about anthropology after taking her class.

one of the sweetest and nicest teachers at kingborough! shes very easy going and makes anthropology interesting. her tests are very easy and as long as you pay attention the class is an eazy A =]

She is probably one of the nicest professors at KCC. She is very laid back and goes directly by the textbook. The notes she writes on the board come directly from the text (like a summary). She gives many handout that aren't in the text but very straightforward. The only downside to her is she gives only A, B, C,D or F. No pluses or minuses.

Not all of her lectures are interesting cuz I was falling asleep during class. Her exams are pretty easy. She doesn't give any homework. The only thing I don't like about her class is that CLASS PAPER.

very nice person,easy to understand and tests are easy. the paper is a bit of a hassle though since she usually requiers you to use book souces instead of the internet. the final is usually just another ordinary test , so it's not that bad.

She made her class very interesting and I had fun the whole semester, but she is a very hard and sort of unfair grader. I think I deserved a better grade in the class than what I got. She gave me a B and I really thought I deserved an A. I worked very very hard on my research paper. A couple of other people said the same thing. Nice personality

She has a great teaching style. Everything flows and she mentions a lot of interesting facts. She gives out a review sheet and goes over it for exams. Her final is not cumm. She assigns two proj to do...the last one -the survey , is the hardest , but very interesting. Make sure youdont miss more than 3 classes, bc shell lower your grade.Highly recc

prof really cares about anthropology. very helpful, considerate & informative. buy the book & use it to answer those review sheet questions before exams. Def don't miss an exam review! you choose which 2 projects you'd prefer to do. you can even view your progress & class documents on blackboard. excellent prof!

Excallent proffessor, dont even need the text. Her lectures are very detailed and are fully reflected in her tests. Just be sure to start the papper early, its not as easy as it looks.

This professor gave me the confidence to believe that i can work hard and have positive results in my grade. First time i ever got 100% on an exam. She is tough on exams but with hard work you will learn a whole lot but most importantly she understand your difficult circumstance to attend classes on time.

one of the easiest professor. her exams are fairly easy if you goto the review the day before, all the answers is given. She is also very internet savvy and uses the website blackboard to give students the actual test questions ahead of time. Just becareful when you do her paper. she knows her internet stuff!! can't copy**** off the internet!!

Had her for summer session for sociology. Kept my attention. Has a great personality and knows how to teach an interesting class. Awesome teacher!!

She is a very nice and helpful teacher. Her test came straight from her lectures. The class is interesting and I actually learned a lot about the meaning of anthropology. She really motives her students to learn.

her homeworks were extremely easy....her exams r multiple choices.....she gives notes that r helpful so u hardly need to do any reading on ur own....SHE'S A GREAT PROFESSOR. i recommend u take her.....

Dont buy the book. All you have to do is get the review sheet and go to class on the day of the review to pass the exams. She has a lot of experience in the field with a lot of stories to make the class interesting. You have to go to the museum at one point and projects must be handed in on time. I highly recommend taking her. I would again.

I have taken Professor Beth King for both Sociology 31 and Anthropology 37. I would state that Professor King is quite Helpful and her clarity is excellent in the subject that she teaches. She has a grand personality and is quite humorous. If you get to know her, you will simply love her. I would highly recommend her! Her exams are simple. Easy A+!

I took her online class, she's a very good professor. Not only were all the assignments clear and outlined, but she was willing to give me extra time after the semester was over to make up my missing work! Highly recommended!

Prof King has a lot of experience in her field and is very knowledgeable, she worked with native americans and did archeological work as well. If you pay attention in class and keep up with the reading you will do well on the exams. I found the class material very interesting and informative. Try and stay on her good side. Really enyojed the class.

Prof. Beth King is excellent as always. She is a great lecturer and has a lot of insight on Native American culture and not to mention,she is a very sweet lady as well. One of my favorite professors at Kingsborough. I highly recommend taking her.

A great person, great teacher and a great talker. Her style made me take another class with her. Her lectures can fly by if you give a damn. She also is funny and easygoing. Notes are important and readings she offers are interesting.

Professor Beth King is simply a pleasure! She is a grand instructor, person and well rounded. She may come across as weird and strict the first few weeks, but is a doll and very fair grader. I've learned more then I ever pondered in Anthropology and recommend her to everyone! She will expand your horizons and boost your GPA! Take her or regret it!

Prof. King is wonderful! She's very knowledgeable in what she teaches and her class isn't hard at all. All you have to do is copy down the notes as they help tremendously, pay attention, and be there for test reviews. I found the subject matter to be very intriguing and would definitely recommend her class.

She is such a nice sweet lady. Awsome as an anthropolgy professor - she has experienced a lot in her field. Class was always pleasant. Very little HW, no term paper. Just show up and copy the study sheet from blackboard and fill it in during the lesson. ATTEND THE REVIEW! Easy class to get an A. The exam is directly from the review sheet.

This profesor is a BITCH with grading. My friend warned me he got a B+ when he deserved an A, and I figure it wouldn't happen to me if I just do all my work. Same****, I had at least a 90 average and the **** gave me a ****ing B, not even an A-!

Simply the best professor at Kingsborough. Lectures are interesting and easy to understand. Don't need to buy textbook as exams are based on lecture material. I highly recommend taking her class!

An AMAZING professor !! You have to be there every day and STUDY ! everything she teaches and tells you to review WILL be on the exams. I did get low grades on exams for lack of studying, but she was a great! She keeps the class interesting and fun ! Good luck !

It was truly a pleasure having her. She's very lenient and the subject is very interesting. Some of her topics actually relate to our everyday lives in general.

She is good, easy, just little bit "hard" thing homeworks, she give you multiple choice 20-35 questions and you have to read chapters to answer on them! Google won't help! Overall she is knowledgeable and cool!

I learned a lot in her class, she is really focused on getting you to learn. She is also very understanding and give second chances. I love the fact that not only is she very educated she love what she does. Anthropology isnt the easiest thing to graps.

Prof. King is so nice! Her lessons are amazing! She brought skulls into class a few times and shared stories about her research with the Native Americans. She gives you review sheets and her tests are all based on the Textbook SO YOU MUST HAVE IT. If you do well on the three major tests you don't have to take Final.

Enjoyed her classes, she makes jokes and little comments on the side that brighten your day. Her text book is sort of mandatory, gives 3 tests including the final. Her papers are fun and she's always available for further help.

Must be in tuned with the class to understand material. Makes you work for the grade

Professor King is awesome. She makes you work, but she gives you plenty of time to get it done. She's very understanding and flexible. You just need to show that your effort. She gives plenty of extra credits to help with test scores, and if you need more time to complete an assignment, she'll work with you. I highly recommend her!

Very good professor. I had her in my first semester, PARTICIPATION matters, BUY THE TEXTBOOKS ONLINE! I bought one book for 1c that in the shop costs almost 20 bucks. Its and okay proffesor. Lots of reading, extra credits are easy and worthy. just one tip for the extra credit: dont plariagise

I took her for Ant 3700 and it was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken. I was able to ace every exam without even buying the textbook. She gives 40 questions to you ahead of time and 20 will be on the exam, very easy. You can sleepwalk through this class if you take it. Very nice and good professor. She is easy but you do learn a lot.

I thought Professor King was a great teacher. She showed videos, brought in skulls for the evolution portion of the course, and of course lectured. She is very intelligent and speaks from experience that's why I think her lectures are so fluent. You do have to do a lot of reading. If you're not lazy and actually read this class is very easy.

Amazing teacher. Only 2 papers and 3 tests and I got an A. Not saying I didn't work for it but just study for tests and your fine. She gives study guides and extra credit. You should take this class.

The best teacher I ever had. Comes prepared to teach if you come prepared to learn. She's an archaeologist and is very knowledgeable about anthropology. Makes every class interesting. Lots of ways to get extra credit.

I was nervous to take my first online course, but it was pretty awesome. Blogs are lame but easy,she literally uploads reviews that have key terms that will be in the quizzes & SHE ALLOWS YOU TO TAKE THE QUIZ 3 TIMES(different each time)!!! She was NEVER rude when I came with question and emails back fast. Material is interesting. Easy. A.

Really awesome professor gives lots of extra credit you won't regret taking her class

Assignments are easy just get them done. Only 2 papers and one civic engagement. Test are fairly easy if you listen to lecture and do reading assignments. She gives 3 tries to take test and records highest grade. Blogs are fun, if we were on campus I feel I would've gained more from class. Teacher is amazing!

there's a weekly quiz that you get 3 attempts on, most weeks there's a simple discussion post and 2 essays. All materials are provided. overall easy class. get ready to dedicate about an hour a week on readings/quiz/discussion post and then whatever for the 2 essays. stay on top of assignments and its an easy pass

Very caring devoted to teaching making sure students understand the subject well prepared me very well for later courses in anthropology biology.

She is a good teacher!! She asks if you need any help with your work, just email her. she answers fast emails. She grades great and if you do any work wrong she gives you time to fix it and get a better grade. she gives you work to do every week and you have one paper to write. Easy class and you learn a lot.

REALLY cool professor. She's very real with the students. Has such interesting life experiences. Willing to work with you on honors projects, etc. Also I think she curves her tests or something bc a lot of the time my grade seemed high for the amount of questions I got wrong - and she gives extra credit on every test! Great prof, just do the work.

Probably my favorite prof. Highly recommend taking her class. Easily accessible out of class and does zoom meeting during weekends too. Her lec are pretty fun and cool.

This class is an easy A if you just do the work. She gives you time to fix your assignment and she provides feedback. I loved her class the only downfall is that the class is a little dull/dry but other than that I would 100% recommend taking her.

Dr.King is an amazing professor. She's calm. She speaks very clearly, and it's easy to understand what she is trying to articulate. You feel like you are in an adventure with her as she is teaching you. She's classy, very funny, and she is a really great professor. I never wanted class to end. A lot of papers, assignments, and tests, participation.

I liked this professor. Dr. King is calm and relaxed. For a couple papers she encouraged AI but will still use an AI detector.

Professor King is a great. She gives essays to write and runs them through AI detector program but if you can proof her you didn't use AI, she listens. One of my essay I wrote showing AI written but I explained that it's not AI. She loves getting everyone's points of views about certain topics. She's fun if you participate in her class.
