she asks discussion questions, but doesn't like answers that disagree with hers
she never answers your questions thoroughly, difficult grader, one sided
She gets the job done, if u go to class and ask for help u'll get an A
hard but great teacher/ really helps with writing
Not easy, but you do learn. Readings tie in well with course objective.
lots of info in lectures keeps talking grades hard dont argue or you lose
She is a very critical grader. essay assignments require a lot of thinking.

She's very critical. keep up with the mass of work assigned.

The course material is not very interesting. IF you want to learn about cochlear implants then this is the class for you. Use big words in your writing and she will be tricked into thinking that you are smart.

You learn a lot in her class. She is very clear on what she wants and extremely helpful. One of the nicer RWS teachers...
Assignments are fairly easy, but she can be annoying and untactful.
She is a difficult grader, but you can learn a lot from her. She can greatly improve your writing if you give her a chance.
Decent Teacher. At times, the class can be boring and repetitive. But, if you can write a decent paper, and read, you can get a pretty good grade
She gives a lot of leniency, one essay and one short paper can be turned in a class late without penalty. She interesting and not boring. She usually lets out early and her topics are not stupid in class. You should get a class with her.
Good teacher just very disorganized. In addition, she will often ask your opinion... cut you off midsentence... and tell you what she thinks is right, which is very annoying. Overall though, she is there to help.
Her class did not improve my writing. I believe this is because she does not do a sufficient job helping students turn their weaknesses in writing into strengths. She does offer extra credit essays to help you earn an A though. But who likes writing more&
Very helpful and understanding, not as disorganized as the teacher I had for RWS 100 so she gets one thumb up from me.
Beth was really a great teacher. She pays close attention to your writing as an individual. She knows what kind of paper you are capable of writing and she actually let me rewrite a paper one time. She's intelligent and keeps it interesting. Take her.
Class is easy. She's interested in the subject. Due dates kind of confusing. Papers were not that hard either. Very helpful esp. with replying by email at 10 pm!!! Overall good experience :D. Just do your work the best you can and don't be lazy.
She is not too hard of a grader but can be very annoying. She is very opinionated and hates it when people have a different oppinion than her. is not easy to approach due to her snotty attitude. overall an easy class
CAN improve ur writing!!but very hard, like one essay after another- 31/2-4 pages..difficult prompts!soo much reading and writing.actually a very hard class. i felt like i tried very hard on papers and still got a B,im normally a pretty good writer too i thought. but good for improving writing skills
This is the hardest class i've ever taken. Her assignments were so unclear, I never knew what she was asking for. It was way more work than any other class. Seriously if u combined all the work from my 4 other classes it didn't equal the work for this one class. It was not a fun class!
She's an awesome person with a huge heart. But when it comes to her teaching I felt lost at times. the written work was hard, lots of stress. but you can learn a lot from her class.
I hated this class!!! she doesnt care what you think and when asks for your opinion she means you put HER opinion! She has a snotty attitude and cuts ppl off. Take another professor for this class because you can learn much more. TOO MUCH WRITING IN CLASS AND OUT OF CLASS! AVOID !!!
U have2write4 SAss &thefinalisa timedSA.the reading is a lot.ifyour not such a good writerUcan reviseallofthe SAs except thelast1.gotoconverancewith her beforeUturntheSAinbecauseshewilltellUexactlywhatshewants&thatwillsaveUpoints&revisions.shehasanastyhabitof interuptingU&isn'taverygoodteacher.
very oppinionated and annoying. She tries to make ppl feel stupid and somewhat unclear. easy class
Very easy class but she is very opinionated and makes you feel stupid... Plus the material is boring. IMAGINE HAVING A WHOLE CLASS ON 9/11!! That was this waste of a time class...
4 SAs all on 9/11 which is easy, has huge heart & wants all students to do well & very helpful if u ask. can revise 1st 3 essays as long as go to peer editing days and she will tell u exactly what to change to get a good revision grade. 2 in-class essays 3rd one for final is optional. easy if u read the readings and understand, just ask for clarify
I HAVE HER FOR THE BIBLE AS LITERATURE AND SHE KNOWS HER****>>>>>

SHE WAS VERY UNCLEAR ON HOW SHE WANTS ESSAYS TO BE DONE.
Purpose of class and essays was always unclear. The deadlines must of changed six times. If you already know how to write essays about context, then you will do ok.
I loved her!
She was pretty bad. Very political, as we only did essays on 9/11. If you disagreed with her, she would shoot you down. Her prompts were very unclear and would give you some hints as to what she wanted after you finished the essays. Avoid her if you can.
Not an easy A but a great teacher. she was fair and told you what to do if you paid attention. she was open to office hours and email. Just listen to her comments on your essays and they will definitely approve. I definitely recommend her!
Beth made RWS a fascinating class, allowing us to express our opinions on what we read and the world in general, yet teaching us how to build a solid foundation in order to make our own arguments more clear and well founded with evidence.
Beth...has a manic personality...she is a tiny woman with a lot to say. She sometimes talks more about what she wants to rather than what her students do. The class is pretty much a waste of time and sdsu is making tons of cash just forcing students to take this stupid course. Anyway...there are a lot of essays...like one every week so be prepared.
Great Professor! Tells you how is it and doesn't let students in the class give false information or say stupid things. She really cares about the students in her class and great help if you ask her for it.
You certainly had to work for a good grade but she's a good teacher. She tries to understands each student's writing style and works with it. If you really want to learn, take her.
VERY picky grading, it's hit and miss.
She always gives these mean looks whenever someone answers, so she makes it hard to speak up in class. Essays are graded weird. I always found myself hoping she wouldn't show up to class.
Pretty easy class, i got a B but thats only because i got too lazy to do extra credit. Almost impossible to fail if you put any kind of effort. It gets a little boring but she usually doesn't keep you the whole time
If you ask her a question about an assignment, she'll reply in a certain way to make you feel like a dumbass. Besides that, she actually does help you improve your writing. Also, there is a lot of reading and writing in the class and random mini quizzes on the readings.
This class is great. The material is interesting and Beth is very creative in her writing projects. You do need to go to class because she watches attendance, also she gives reading and writing assignments but it is far from "busy work"...all homework directly relates to the four essays you write throughout the semester. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THIS COURSE
She is GREAT! I am not a very good writter, but she helped me do well in her class. You must go to her class though. Attendance is VERY important and if you go to small group workshop you get extra credit towards your paper. If you participate in class and show up she will love you. I got a great grade in her class.you souldnt get lower then a B.
This woman is horrible. She is condescending, rude and makes you feel stupid especially if you don't agree with her. She isn't very open minded. Essay prompts are extremely vague and isn't willing to help until after its graded. I did okay in the class, but it wasn't worth it. Worst class I have ever taken at SDSU. Please avoid her if you can.
If you're looking for a teacher who is unprofessional, overrides your opinions with her thoughts, asks useless questions, enforces the importance of attending another useless class where you learn absolutely nothing then she's your teacher. She is rude and her classes are pointless, her grading is unclear, and when you ask her about it she doesn't
I did not like this teacher at all. I was actually looking forward to this class because I love to write, but she made it a nightmare. She is extremely rude and acts like she is better than everyone else. I never answered questions in class because she treats you like an idiot if you do. Take this class with someone else!
She is VERY politically biased and if you say anything that goes against her point of view she'll take down your grade. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU ARE CONSERVATIVE. you will want to kill her and her closed minded views. also her prompts are so vague you never know how your going to do.
DONT take her. Like the rest says, she is rude, her prompts are soo unclear. During the whole semester you will get at least ten poeple email you for help, because it was soo unclear. Her office hours sucks, the way she talks is unprofessional and she puts you donwn all the time!!
Dont ever take this class! She is a horroble teacher and could care less about her students. She always has to be right now matter what and is very slow at gradeing. You will have a horrible semester if you take her.
The only reason I took this teacher was because she got okay reviews on this website a long time ago. Boy was that a mistake! She is awful. She is unclear, which I think its on purpose just show she can act like shes better than everyone. Her grading doesn't make an sense. I got the EXACT same grade on every paper. She didn't even read my paper
Useless teacher, she enjoys talking down to people and acting like she is better than everyone. Starts off the semester by saying she doesn't give out As. If there is any other teacher you can take other than her do it! Also she is annoying to look at and listen to.
Had this teacher and did not run into as many problems as the other remarks mention. She gave several opportunities to meet and talk about papers before they were due. I will say, don't miss class... it will effect your overall score. She makes you work for your grade so maybe that is why people are upset.
Take someone else.
grades you on different criteria that she said she would/// nothing she does makes any sense, DO NOT TAKE HER IF YOU CAN AVOID IT
Avoid this class like the plague
I don't usually post reviews but Beth Sherman deserves more credit than these other posts give her. I was really upset I had to take this class to begin with, but I was actually relieved I took Beth. The prompts were clear and Beth is really helpful and allows re-writes of papers. she's funny too, class is more tolerable than others make it seem
This class was decently easy. For some of the essays she gives you a guide that tells you exactly how to form your essays. This class consists of about five essays, no final. If you go in and talk to her she REALLY helps. She is a pretty easy grader. Overall nice lady.
The last class I ever wanted to take was a writing class, but she made it interesting and I feel like I actually improved my writing without dying in the process.
Meh. She delivered the goods. Got nothing exceptionally good or bad to say about her, which I guess is a good thing. Did a fair amount of work, revised essays, and finished with a solid A. This was my least memorable class so far. Some where a lot better and others were a lot worse, but this one was just, well, meh. Let's call it a safe 7/10.
She tells you exactly what she wants from you and although she doesn't hand out grades, she doesn't grade very hard either. She will help you any time you need help.
I was NOT happy I had to take this class, but I saw my writing improve tremendously during the semester. The topics were interesting and relative to current events. 3 essays, 3 in class essays (the last one is the final), 5 informal writings (these are fun), and a lot of group work. I liked her format, and I'd take her again for 305.She's nice too!
She was not clear in her assignments and her lecture didn't go with the assignments. She wasn't very helpful when it came to anything, even after trying office hours. I'm an 'A' student and still her class was by far, the worst. She is pretentious--a "Starbucks" intellectual--do not take this class if you're looking to enjoy your semester.
I agree with the posting beneath this one. She does not make an effort to really help students. She thinks she's a top-level teacher because she teaches at a university, but certainly lacks a real drive to teach. Stay away from her. You've been warned!
She is very unclear on her topics of essays, and is very biased in her grading. Her lectures are mandatory and put me to sleep every time. Worthless class.
Not clear! tells you one thing and then no follow through. Says she will use the book, only a small amount, she tell you you can use notes for quiz you don't know what she will ask. Tons of reading not in the book. Lots of waisted paper you have to print out 5 other copies for the "Group Busy Work" and lots of busy work!
the class will help you improve your writing and you will learn how to go beyond academic essay writing. what you learn can be used in the real world. attendance is mandatory, it can make or break your grade.
Not impressed. She may seem condescending and pretentious in emails and in office hours but she is nicer than she seems. The class is interesting after you finish it. She has some useless assignments but the last papers of each section is always the most interesting. Put a lot of effort into correcting your developed papers and you'll be ok
easy if you go to class. didnt really try and got a B. make sure you go to the group/peer eval day for developed papers, it helps a lot. quizzes very hard. all that really matters are the developed papers. and the smaller ones can easily bring your grade up if you try.
I just didn't like this class period. And she's just kind of annoying period. I would definitely try to get a diff teacher for this class. I did way more unnecessary work in this class than my roommate did with another teacher. During group stuff she walks around and looks at everything and bugs you, it's just annoying. We're not in kindergarten
Her quizzes come straight from the study guides, do the readings and you'll be fine. The papers build on each other and she gives great constructive criticism. The lectures all really help when writing the papers. Oh, and she let us out early a lot :)
If you get stuck taking Beth do it for cr/no cr. There is way too much unnecessary work for a general ed class. She is not a great teacher, and definitely not a people person, but if you write how she wants you to you can get a B/B-.
She is one of the worst professors. Do not take her about 80% of her assignments and articles are useless. Her teaching style is not very interesting and her assignments are unclear. She does not give good direction. I am a business student, just lay it out. Her curriculum is horrible and makes no sense.
She does give a lot of busy work but all of it is meant to be helpful (and could be) and if you look at her grading policy most of it can be skipped entirely if your finished assignments/tests are strong enough. I did all the reading on time, almost none of the prep assignments, and focused on writing well and ended up with an A.
Horrible!!! Assignments are ridiculous! Her curriculum and instructions are difficult to understand. Do not take her unless you have to.
She is a very good teacher! She DID give a lot of busy work but it was for your own good at the end of the day beacuse it helped you for your essay. There are reading quizes that are simple and teh essays are RELEVANT and interesting to our generation! I'd suggest you take her!!! VERY Easy essay Topics!!!!
For being a class that we HAVE to take, she makes us do way too much. While i liked how she helped us develop our essays with in class breakout groups, the weekly reading quizes and based off of pointless readings was a bit much. Take if you want to get something out of it, don't if you don't give a ****
This lady is very difficult to communicate with. She acts as if you aren't worth her time. Stay away from her classes.
I liked Beth better outside of class. I felt like her prompts never made sense until I went to office hours to have her proof my paper before turning it in, needless to say I had to redo all of my papers. I ended up with an A but I never really understood what she wanted in our essays. Maybe it was my fault. But the class was okay.
I liked Beth, however she is sometimes difficult to understand. her prompts are all the same and broken down, trying to be specific but it sometimes makes it more confusing as to what she's looking for. Meet with the TA or Beth before a paper is due. Quizzes on readings are pretty straight forward. Her handwriting is awful,so you can't read her not
I liked Beth, however she is sometimes difficult to understand. her prompts are all the same and broken down, trying to be specific but it sometimes makes it more confusing as to what she's looking for.Meet with the TA or Beth before a paper is due. Depending on your writing ability, this class could be easy or challenging. I had no problems with any of my papers so nothing to complain on that end. Quizzes are based off readings but you can use notes. A lot of group work and busy work but it benefits your papers in the end. Allows you to edit and re-submit papers if needed.
Sherman is a hard teacher, She grade the papers really hard and make the class kind of difficult. It is really hard to communicate with her and do not really help you outside class. You need to go with the tutor almost every week. Almost every class you have a quiz based on lecture.Go to class. A lot of homework. I got a B but worked really hard.
didnt really help when i would ask for it, and go to her office hours. did not seem to help any of the athletes in the class and felt bad for them. hard to work with but online quizzes are easy.
I regret taking this teacher. My roommate was getting 98s on her papers, while I was getting 85s. Definitely a hard grader. And going to class is pointless most of the time. Possible to get an A if you try really hard.
I liked Beth, if you show the slightest amount of interest in your work she is more than willing to help. Don't purchase keys for writers...didn't use it once. Read all of the articles because they all are used to write the essays. If you put effort into the student-teacher relationship she'll retaliate
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS... The work itself is not extremely hard, there is a lot of papers, but it is an RWS class. Beth is the worst, she is condescending and makes you feel inferior. I received a B in the class, but it was the worst class I have ever taken because of her. DO NOT TAKE BETH, seriously you've been warned
AWFUL, CONDESCENDING, AND RUDE!
I got an A in her class, so it is possible, but she is a very tough grader. If you're not into writing, then you might want to avoid her. She gives extra credit, which is a plus. Her pop quizzes are ridic, so just stay on top of the readings and attend class. She makes herself available to help so take advantage of that. She's not horrible.
Beth Sherman does not understand that no one wants to be in her class. The students of this class are only in it because it is a school-wide requirement that is decided by an essay test, not for our majors or our interests. She assigns too much work and expects your attendance every day. Look elsewhere if you have to take RWS.
Beth is a great teacher-she's also a little bit idealistic as to how much time/ability we have, lol, but it could be because I took her over the summer. I like the fact that she does want her students to grow as writers and she gives awesome feedback-esp. if you go to her office hours. Not easy, but most things worthwhile aren't. :)
Compared to other RWS 305's that I heard about, mine seemed like it had the most work. I really feel knowledgable about rhetoric now, but her as a teacher kinda made it difficult. She's really condescending, but can also be totally on your side wanting you to do well. I know, it's confusing. Beware.
NOPE, JUST NOPE. DONT TAKE HER CLASS
Professor Beth is a great professor. Everyone with negative feedback were probably very lazy students. She is very helpful and wants each student to become a better writer. She challenges you to think. I was scared to take her class based on reviews. However, best writing class I have taken. If you want to improve as a writer, take her!
I was required to take the class, but ended up REALLY enjoying it & learning a lot. Beth is a great teacher & forces you to think deeply & differently than you might be accustomed to. Only issue I had was the way she grouped students. I'd rather have discussions w/ people who care @ the class & hv something useful to say. That aside, she's great!
She is very condescending. Her instructions can be unclear, but then get's mad that we didn't understand. Horribly boring reading assignments. Her assignments in general are just really confusing. I still don't even understand what rhetoric is. Makes you get into groups everyday and do pointless work. WAY too much busy work. Take someone else.
I read the reviews here before taking her and believed the ones that said positive things about Beth BOY WAS THAT A MISTAKE! Don't believe any of the positive comments Beth is beyond condescending, unclear, rude, and trust me she will tear you and your essays apart. She wants you to read her mind and write exactly what she wants to hear. BE AWARE
Keep up on all your work and GO to the office hours and conferences. She seems to grade easier on you if you do. Class is pointless, but it's necessary for your grade. Maybe a bit condescending, but listen to her one-on-one feedback. She tells you what she wants to see to get an A.
She's an okay professor. I had to take this class because I didn't study for the WPA and got a 6 on it. I never met with her during office hours or with the tutor that was assigned with the class and I did fine with it.
The worst part of this class was reading the same types of articles over and over. We were given multiple writing assignments in and out of class time on the same topics. I tried my best on all assignments and failed to get 100% on any of them. For the final, you have 40 min to write an essay about all 8 articles. Definitely a difficult class.
Beth might be one of the worst teachers I've ever had in my life. Don't ask her why she won't let you use the word 'mentions' in an essay or else she'll mark every assignment down a letter grade for the rest of the year. We learned zero writing skills and instead sat through Beth listening to herself talk about bs the entire year. 0/0 don't take.
Oh Beth, in general shes very nice. The thing is, it gets hard to sit through her class most of the time. All the papers are centralized around technology, and it seems very repetitive.
Beth is a very vague lady and it is hard to understand her directions on assignments. The hardest part is knowing what she expects from you, and often answers your questions with more questions. If you choose to take her, just make sure you get on her good side so she will grade you easier. There's 3 essays and 1 in class essay for the final.
Not a bad class, if you do your assignments and go and talk to her during office hours you will definitely be fine in the class. Pretty tough grader when it comes to assignments, didn't hear of many people getting an A on the assignments. Big group project as the final.
Expects you to read the textbooks and know exactly how to do each assignment assigned to you. Does not go over assignments in class; instead, she breaks the class up into groups and expects us to teach each other. Not clear at all in her grading criteria. Allows you to revise assignments, but does not clearly tell you how improve your grade.
As a class I had to take after getting an 8 on the WPA, I assumed this would be an easy course since so many students end up having to take it. I consider myself to be an excellent student, but this class provided me with a semester of struggle. Her online course is extremely unorganized, leaving me confused and unaware of certain assignments.
She wasn't terrible. Essay topics all technology related. Three papers total+in class essay the last day. Prompts a little unclear.
Beth is very rude and condescending--she goes out of her way to point out where you are wrong. Her essay prompts are very vague, so make sure to meet with her to go over your essay or you will not get a good grade. She puts you in groups and expects you to teach each other instead of her teaching. Try to avoid her class if possible.
Beth is absolutely horrible. Her papers are all based off articles that she chooses for you and they were all in the same relative topic of technology. She recommends office hours highly but she is no help whatsoever. She will just send you back more confused about your paper. Do the process work before a paper; it will make it easier to write.
Ms. Sherman's class wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't the best. She takes attendance everyday and sometimes her class is boring and pointless to what we should be doing. She's a very sweet lady, but if you want a good grade you must go to her office hours(at least once) for all your essays. Try your best and she'll give you at least a B.
THERE ARE SO MANY ASSIGNMENTS. She assigns discussion board tasks twice a week and sometimes with an added "reading Journal" or the larger paper that may be due that week. I almost had 3 assignments due in the class each week. My friends took the same course online with different professors and did have to do half of the work I did. Save yourself
show up and participate! attendance is for a grade and it will help you understand her essay prompts based off articles she explains in class. she allows you to revise a final draft of an essay to improve your grade if you meet all the drafting requirements and meet with her. she's a very caring person and if you participate it's an easy a.
Class consists of 4 projects: Intro letter, Memoir essay, Op-Ed, and Workplace Writing. The last one was a group project, which I got a great group that everyone put their input, but it was a hot mess.
WAY TOO MANY ASSIGNMENTS!!!! I've never had an English class like this before. It's online and she makes it 100x more difficult by assigning discussion boards, homework assignments, reading assignments, and PAPERS all due in the same week. I don't even learn anything in this class, she just assigns repetitive work with unclear grading criteria.
The class is super unorganized. I never know what she expects from us and she goes out of her way to be rude. Her comments on assignments are uncalled for. Shes very opinionated as well. AND she will always try to argue with you about something. Its either her way or no way. STAY AWAY! DO NOT TAKE HER!
I recommend not taking it. She is so unclear on assignments, a super tuff grader, and is no help. She is so unorganized!!!!!!
Professor is really strict at grading. I find that every time I asked a question there would always be a sort of tone which did not sound pleasant. The same thing happened with a couple of people in my class. Her lectures tend to get really boring and I find myself to fall asleep at times. Sherman is sometimes unclear about the homework thats due.
She tries to be nice and relate to students. There isn't a lot of homework, you just have a journal once a week and reading but you can skip the reading and be fine. The coursework is really repetitive. Essays really effect your grade but she's a tough grader. She offers revisions and extra credit (do them).
The work she makes the class do is not only tedious but almost completely ineffective for the point of the class. Sure, all teachers make students write papers on topics they might not want to write about, but we spent literally months on two "woke" articles that force the audience to close their mind in order to comprehend; straight up propaganda.
She is a very sweet woman. Although, she has a difficult time expressing her expectations and does not do a good job of explaining large papers. The classwork/homework is easy but uses third-party websites that are difficult to use and navigate - often at the expense of your credit. My classmates and I never knew what was going on.
She is a tough grader, and extremely unorganized and unprofessional. Her class made me hate English (used to be a favorite). She is incredibly rude when you ask for help and goes out of her way to put her students down. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I was scoring low on essays and met with her to review my questions, to which she ARGUED with me.
Professor Sherman was a very hard grader on essays, it was annoyingly hard to get an A in the class. Takes role and attendance affects your grade. There wasn't an obnoxious amount of assignments. It was the assignments themselves that were obnoxious.
This professor always went out of her way to be rude and dismissive. Super tough grader on essays it was ridiculous. I have never struggled to get an A in an English class until this one. Attendance is taken daily and pretty much mandatory. I wouldn't recommend this class to my worst enemy.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER! Sherman is literally the worst ever! Assigns you about 8 papers but gives little information on what it is she is looking for in the papers. Prompts are also confusing and is such a tough grader. Her comments always are so passive aggressive and she makes you feel stupid. 0/10 honestly.
Beth is a nice person but she is not the best teacher. Almost everything she would teach was very unclear and I never really knew what she expected. I went to office hours 3 times for a paper and every time I went I was more confused.
Awful teacher and makes snarky, rude comments if she disagrees with you and makes it obvious. I never felt comfortable enough again to reach out for help because she just makes you more confused and embarrassed for even reaching out in the first place. The class itself was so boring and she normally ended up talking for the entire class period.
Beth means good, but sometimes she can be rude when giving feedback or in responses in general. She is a very tough grader and is never very clear on what you need to improve on. Attendance is mandatory and will affect your grade. I would not recommend taking her class.
Beth doesn't have bad intentions but she can be very passive when providing feedback. You don't know your grade until the end of the semester because she does this thing called "labor-based grading". She essentially grades you based on how hard she thinks you worked. Her assignments are C/NC which was a blessing and a curse.
She's a sweet person and means well but I felt like nothing was explained well. When she gives directions or feedback sometimes it isn't clear. She uses labor based grading which is where you get C/NC for your assignments and can do extra work to raise your grade above a B. It's an odd system that most had a hard time with.
Beth was an alright professor. She's very nitpicky about things that could be in your paper if it doesn't follow her exact view. Things in my paper that were fine the first time became a problem the next time she reviewed it which was pretty frustrating at times. Nice person, alright professor.
You start with a B. Grade changes depending on how much work you complete. Attendence is part of grade. Essays are either complete or incomplete, no letter grades. Complete all work/show up to class, you can get an easy A. Is repetitive. Did 3 essays, all were about freedom of speech. Thats why I would not take her class agian.
She rarely teaches and you learn the majority of the class from the instructions she posts on assignments. She is not an involved professor. She is rude to students and I dreaded coming to her class as she would laugh at my questions and make me feel stupid. Her class was informative but her attitude towards her students was extremely poor.
Not much to say, getting a B+ was too much of a struggle for the level this class is supposed to be at
