She is very funny and helpful. Make sure you read your text book. She takes all the question from the publisher website and text book for exams. She will help you if need, you just need to make that effort. I do admit she will make you work for you grade. She is a graduate student herself and she has high expectations of her class.

she is new to teaching anatomy. her strength is that she is understanding and willing to work with her class if she thinks they are having a hard time. STudy the end of the chapter questions and the publishers website!!!!!! I got 102% on the last exam just from studying the textbook questions.

Bethany is a great person and a great teacher. She goes way out of her way to help students who are behind. Anatomy is a tough subject. She really expects the students to put the effort into the class. I was one of only afew A's in the class, but I read the text, went online and studied hard to memorize lab exams. Anatomy is hard!!

Very tough class, partly cause it was in the summer. She's a good teacher. Takes lots of time going over the material and always willing to help. Just make sure you go over the labs for lab practicals. Know the names and be able to label anything you have to look at.

I loved this teacher! She can relate to her students because she just got out of school not too long ago, so she doesn't overload you with work. Read the chapters and don't fall behind because that can really hurt you in the end! You really have to work for your grade but that's just a little taste of what the nursing program is going to be like!!

Mrs A is a great professor, the class is no cake walk, read the chapters, and end of chapter reviews, study the lectures and attend her saturday reviews. Test are not too bad as long as you study the material. Ask questions, she is willing to explain it so you will understand the material. I will miss having her as a teacher.

Great teacher. All exams are 40 m/c which 20 come directly from your books review, and 2 essay questions. She even gives you a list of possible essay questions so you can practice them out. Before every exam there is study session if you need help. The labs are fun and pretty easy. You can drop one test and a quiz or two. It was GREAT!

Mrs.B is a wonderful teacher! This class is not easy, but Mrs.B is very fair and wants her students to succeed. If you have to take Micro. make sure you get her for an instructor.

This instructor is the BEST by far! She is extremely helpful and fair! Mrs.B gives you extra credit, and many other opportunities to succeed in this class.

This was Bethany's last semester, which is too bad for Delta students needing Micro. She is very tough, but a super nice person, easy to like, a good lecturer, fair, always willing to answer questions, and overall a terrific teacher. Attendance, the book, and putting in a ton of study time are pretty much mandatory in any nursing prereq. class.

Mrs. A is a caring prof. I am not sure about my grade yet but it's not going to be high. However, this prof helps you succeed. She has online work and pre and post labs which are easy points, so with a little studying one can certainly pass. Great lecturer, I would recommend her to anyone!

Mrs. A is one of the most amazing professors I have ever come across. She is so real and down to earth. She makes sure that we understand the material, while making it doable. This course is not easy, but if you put in the work it is possible to do well. She is always available for her students if you need help.

She's one of the most honest teachers I've ever met. She tells us from the get-go that this isn't going to be an easy course. But she also gives us all of the resources and tools necessary. Extra credit was scarce but she made sure that we were working hard before getting the opportunity.

Despite the difficulty of this class, her kind attitude and how easy she gets along with her students (if they let her) makes the class seem a bit lighter. She defines what a true community college teacher does by helping students outside of class time, such as study session per week, has patience after numerous amounts of questions, etc.

I can honestly say that I really enjoyed her class. She is very kind and is willing to work with you if you put in the time. Her class is not easy, but it isn't impossible. Her lectures are interesting, but she gets off topic a lot. Her multiple choice parts on her tests test your ability to retain details. She will give hints about long answers.

Med Micro. One of the best Science teachers. Class is hard, must read to stay ahead. Come prepared, ask a lot of questions and do your homework, STUDY STUDY STUDY! Do not expect to pass without studying. Would not hesitate to take her again. She's passionate about what she teaches, which makes this subject more enjoyable. I Highly recommend Mrs. A.

Taking BIO 1 rn. She is kindhearted and cares about her students very much. She wants us all to succeed. Class is not easy, her tests are difficult but I believe I can pass it because of her. She is an awesome human being. Take her class, you will not be sorry!

I'm taking Bio 31, I know registration just opened, people might be looking here for spring. Shes a great professor, knows exactly what shes doing, always willing to help, and she understands anatomy is tough. She doesnt make it any tougher than it is; anatomy is hard, but thats just how it is. Shes great. I come from Stockton for her, its worth it

LECTURE EXAMS: 40 M/C (similar to Ch. review ?'s), 2 essay questions(not long) and the rest is matching but mainly picture labeling straight from the book. study each ch. and youll be fine. LAB PRACTICAL is HARD. 100 questions, you get 1-2 mins per question. just know your stuff and STUDY MODELS. STUDY SOMETHING EVERY DAY. be prepared beforehand.

i already rated, but wanted to add that there is online HW (easy points) and lab binder due on the day of lab practical (also easy points). then you have 4 quizzes and 4 exams. final isnt cumulative. offered extra credit. she reads straight from the PP, it helped making flashcards from the lecture notes. TRY TO STAY AHEAD. dont fall behind.

Mrs. A is everything a Delta College prof. should be. She truly has a passion for her profession. She understands that life happens outside the classroom, and will take time out of her busy schedule to accommodate for her students needs. What helped me succeed: record her lectures, study her study guides, Youtube vids, and communicate with her.

She just posted the grades for BIO 1 and I am very happy with my grade because this class's hard! Yes, her tests are very difficult as everyone says but she offers extra credit and online work so that helps. Labs were interesting, lectures clear. I def recommend this prof! Love her.

Absolutely amazing. She really cares about her students. A lot of people in my anatomy class were taking her class after failing another teacher's class. Don't make that mistake! Take her first, it's worth the drive from Stockton! I can't wait to take her Fall 2019 for Bio22. She's a great person with a lot of great stories and a LOT of knowledge.

Micro is a tough class and you have to put in the work to get a good grade but that being said if you fully complete all of your labs and listen/ask questions during her lecture there is no reason anyone should fail. She sets very clear expectations for her students. I truly enjoyed her as a person and a professor.

Prof. A is great! She cares about her students and is hilarious. She teaches to the best of her ability to make sure that students understand the material. THIS CLASS IS DIFFICULT! If you don't like to study, then the grade you receive is what you get. I've heard of her doing study sessions for students for extra practice. I'd def. take her again.

Mrs A. is a great teacher, she is very nice and caring but she is very hard. If you are a good studier and put in the hours to do it throughout the week you should take this class. Flashcards and labeling helped me the most for the lecture exams and practicals. If you take this class, take advantage of the study groups that you will be apart in.

Mrs.A is probably one of the best professors at Delta. I took her for her Anatomy and Bio 1, both classes are difficult, one being memorization and the other one understanding the concepts. Her tests are difficult, so don't wait last minute to study. She really wants her students to succeed and understands life happens and works with you.

I have had Professor A for Anatomy and Bio 1. She is a great professor and an even better person. This class will push you to try your very best. Take her if you can and make sure to study every second you get!

Bio 1 is a serious class but the way it is set up here is amazing, she cares about her classes and every single person. She gives nice lectures explaining fair game material and is more than willing to help understand difficult topics. There's a LOT of material to cover but the way she teaches, it will definitely get you ready for Physiology!!

FYI there is no favoritism in this class. It's on us to study hard for a pretty difficult subject and she's not here to hold our hands the whole way, but they doesn't mean she doesn't care. She cares about us A LOT! Super sweet, knowledgeable, great at responding, and kicks your butt at the subject. She is like the female version of Adamson:)

Mrs. A subscribes to the philosophy of tough love. She was always available to answer my questions without judgement and did her best to build me and my classmates up. Her standards, for instance exams, are high. She does not curve. Every grade is earned. Be aware, she doesnt grade on attendance but if you miss a day it will have a big impact.

This class hits like a freight train from day one! Mrs. A does an amazing job making the material accessible but there is still a ton to learn in a small amount of time. Theres no curve in this class and her standards are high. Be ready to read, participate and ask for help. She is always there for her students. I highly recommend her.

Anatomy was the hardest class I have ever taken, but Mrs. A made it doable during the pandemic. Mrs A is caring, passionate, and does not sugar coat; so do not procrastinate on studying. Majority of your grade is based on exams, lab practicals, and quizzes. She offers extra credit, and will accommodate schedules if needed. Use every resource!

4 exams, 2 practicals, 12 quizzes, biochemical research paper, and labs/labster assignments. She administers her curriculum promptly, and she is accessible M-F. However, her curriculum needs revision (some is outdated). Thus, you have to double check some of her work. Offers extra credit. She is caring, relatable, and accommodating. Study hard!

I had her for Microbiology and Anatomy. A lot of these reviews are based on expecting this to be an easy class. This is NURSING. It isnt easy, and it isnt made for everyone. Its hard, the material she is teaching is hard, but if you want a professor that cares about you and will help you succeed, then she is it. Taught me more than just science!

I tried taking Mrs.A last Summer and I ended up dropping because it was too intense for my life at the moment. I am so glad I gave her class another chance. The lab portion was the most intimidating for me but she really helps you through it. Be prepared to study on a regular basis, you will not be able to cram this much information.

We started this semester in class, but now that spring break is over we have to go back online which is unfortunate because Professor A is one of the most down to earth professors I have ever had. I am pre nursing as most of her students are and she is very motivating and you can tell she genuinely cares.

Mrs. A is amazing! Anatomy was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken, but she really cares about her students and their success. She is funny, caring, and will help you out! Go to office hours, ask her questions, set up a study group. Anatomy is not easy and you have to put the work in, but Mrs. A is very encouraging and approachable.

Professor Acquistapace is a great teacher. Takes complex topics and makes then easily digestible for students. There are multiples mini-quizzes for each organ system in the body, which lead to normal quizzes, which lead to the midterm, then finally culminating into the final. YOU NEED TO READ THE TEXTBOOK AND WATCH THE LECTURES IF YOU WANT TO PASS!

Mrs. A gives you all the material you need to pass. The rest is up to you. For online: be sure to watch ALL Lab Chats and LABEL your powerpoints for studying; these are necessary to pass lab practicals. Read the book/watch lectures to pass lecture exams. All her material is organized and accessible. Lectures thorough but not wordy.

Mrs. A's microbiology/anatomy classes were extremely difficult, but as long as you read the textbook thoroughly, take excellent lecture notes, complete extra credit assignments, and attend office hours regularly, you SHOULD be able to maintain an A in the class. IT IS POSSIBLE! If you love a good challenge, I recommend taking both of her classes.

I really enjoyed Bethanys microbiology course. The labs were really easy to follow and very cool to watch. Even though the labs werent in person I still liked the labster and watching the lab chats. Bethany has long lectures but you can pause it and write notes and come back to it. At first it seems overwhelming but I ended up enjoying the class.

I took Ms. A for Anatomy and Micro and I wish she lectures Physio. Very compassionate and sweet. I loved her more when I finally met her during our in person lab. Very hilarious and always willing to help. Responds promptly to emails. She made these hard subjects seem easy. Just connect with her, disturb her with your questions and you will excel.

10/10 Professor. Course work is rough. However, if you put in the work, you will be successful. Go to her office hours!! She is extremely kind and takes the time to really help you. Make. The. Time. Professor Acquistapace was pretty good. This class was completely online asynchronous, but she made sure to make the recorded lecture videos and lab videos very detailed. Lab Chats are a must!!!

I took her class Spring 2022 and she was amazing! She made microbiology fun and easy, even though the criteria was (kinda) difficult. Her lectures were PowerPoint slides from the textbook, but she does an excellent job at giving outside examples to help us better understand it. She is very straightforward with grading, especially her tests too.

Professor Acquistapace was awesome for this anatomy course. She was helpful. She created open lab times for us to come in and study before a lab practical. Her lectures were straightforward. She was always willing to help. She is also completely understanding if life happens. To do well do lab sheets before coming to lab and review lecture notes.

Her exams were all free response, barely any multiple choice and if it was multiple choice, it was tough questions. However, I will say her study guides are the KEY to success in her class. Some of her test questions are word for word from the study guide. She's also a very positive person, so if you have the time and dedication, take her class.

I would first off like to say, that more professors should be more passionate with their field of study, with this, Professor A was indeed commendable. Although I struggled with the class being a sick student, and felt embarrassed I was not understanding the content, she took time to explain to me what was needed to help me get through.

Gave a long list of things she expected us to do to for an A, most weren't necessary. Reading textbook is a waste of time, only use it for lab manual. She provides all the material you need for an A, it's on you to use it. Accountable when she makes mistakes. Always open to questions, even during exams and practicals. Amazing professor, take her

Awesome all around professor, this class is hard, but it should be. 4 Lecture Exams, 4 Lab exams, canvas quizzes are basically your grade. Get flash cards, Anki app, whatever; those will save you. Understand the structure and function of the things youre learning too not just basic definitions. Very knowledgeable, but you will be teaching yourself!

Professor Acquistapace provides detailed lecture videos and lab materials. For success, watch all lab chats, label PowerPoints, and use the textbook alongside Unstuck AI for efficient study prep. The class is challenging but rewarding.
