I had her for the BIOL 1408 lab and I loved her. She does have a little accent and sometimes uses different terminology, but she is really adorable. Very helpful - she really wants you to understand the material and does whatever she can to help. Grades were very generous for what she had control over. RECOMMENDED!

She is AWESOME! Absolutely one of the best teachers. Biology can be boring but she makes it as fun and easy as possible. She cares about her students understanding the material. She has a great personality and will make you laugh. It was very enjoyable to attend her class. I highly reccomend her.

I took her summer I class for non-science majors. Wish she was teaching summer II, I would take that class for sure. Best professor I've had hands down. The only thing she expects is that you show up for class, and if you do so consistently you will be rewarded at the end of the semester. She's the best biology teacher ever! There's really no way you can fail if you go to class. By the second half of the semester, everyone was kinda lost in the lectures but even then we all managed to pass our test with flying colors. She gives out extra credit for the little-lest of things. Lab's pretty hard but even then she won't let you fail.

There is a lot of work to do online, but its super easy you can use online resources and even the textbook. The only way you won't pass is if your lazy/procrastinate or expect your grade to fall right out of the blue.

An easy A to both Bio 1408 and 1409, I took both classes with her online, If you dont want to waste your time like going 3 hours of class , take it online and its very easy. She gives multiple attempts for every test and quiz, there is no chances of getting fail her in class. Even if i would say there no chances of getting B in this class.

So much extra credit is offered that it's almost impossible to fail the class and quite easy to make an A. She very much wants students to engage and is constantly excited to be in class and teaching. Probably the best attitude of any professor I have ever had.

I enjoyed the 8 weeks online class. I took 2 biology class with her and I skip the last text for just sending the homeworks on time. I got a B first class and and A the second class. I really recomend you to take classes with her. A lot of easy homework. It looks scary at the beggining but is an esa and interesting class.

Her lectures are confusing, but she's a sweetheart and very good at explaining one on one. Go to her office hours. She gives SO much extra credit, it's impossible not to earn an A. Tests are in groups of 2-3 and she lets you use notes. She makes you so comfortable, great if you're anxious or shy. If you miss more than 2 classes you take the final.

I took this class on Summer 1, it was hard not going to lie but doable. If you put in the work you will be fine and it will be a breeze. But if you procrastinate then the labs plus the lecture will get to you because sometimes you have multiple up to 3 to complete by a certain deadline.

If you need another science credit for a non-science major, take her class! It is super easy, everything is through BIO lab, which is free if you payed for your class. You have to do online lab reports in order to get a password for the lab quiz. She gives out a lot of extra credit. Overall, she gives out a lot of work but it is easy and doable.

The labs and chapters were easy. Just do them on time because you need a password to continue to the next assignment or else you will fall behind. She did provide a lot of extra credit assignments, which helps. do the work on time and you should be fine.

There's quite a bit of homework, yet it's mostly computer based and graded. The labs are a bit time consuming as you have to draw and color. I was anxious about this class and she also seemed strict at first. Once I got to know her she was really nice and gives a lot of extra credit. Do your work and you will pass this course. Dr. Pereira is a good proff. She is very leniant. I took an 8 week course with her and I really enjoy the class. She tries to make small jokes and keep the mood a cheerful mood. Chill class and it wasn't hard. I think everything was easy to find and the assignments were not bad. I think almost everything was easy to look up to find the answers and quizlet was a big help.

The class was straightforward with online lab simulations with lectures, and then quizzes over said assignments, but they were all easy. She primarily only accepts MS Word documents so beware. Took Professor Pereira 8 week flex class! Assignments and labs are easy if you read the online textbook. You have to do the lab and have it graded by her before she gives you the code to take the lab quiz. 2 comprehensive tests are easy to ace if you read and do well on the lab quizzes. I love the way she grades, it's mainly the activities that you can't get less than a 10 (unless you don't do them), and only a few tests. It's very easy to get an A and she really cares about the subject. I am taking her again because she makes it easy to learn!
