Super frustrating experience. Grading seemed arbitrary and she is not very friendly or supportive. You will spend hours trying to improve your work to get a better grade and if you reach out to her for improvement or question anything your grades will get worse. I would just avoid the professor. I don't know how students have anything good to say.

This professor gives a ridiculous amount of essays and loves to mark them with "?" for feedback. Extremely helpful when I want to know what I did wrong. Also marks off a RIDICULOUS amount of points (think 15% to 40%) for not italicizing a book title once, or for citing paraphrasing, the latter of which she counted 7 times too many imo. 0/10.

THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO NOT WALK- NOT JOG- NOT SKIP, BUT RUN THE OTHER WAY. This prof has been probably 1 of the worst professors I have ever encountered in my life. Students, do yourselves a favor and avoid taking this course if learning and your grades matter to you. This professor lacks compassion, teaching skills, and shows no respect for immigrants. She expresses frustration toward immigrants for not assimilating into what she views as "American culture." Not a pleasant experience at all.
