outstanding, wonderful teacher and woman!! she is the reason i wanted to major in accounting. She teaches great, explains everything. Lots of patience with students. Tests can be tough if you dont study, but she is VERY good and fair.

This wownen is an amazing teacher. The people who say she is bad, are only lazy and stupid. Just go to class and do the homework. I didn't even do the biggest project of the semester and still got a 99% in her class. For the Guys, she is nice to look at. I know because she is an old friends mom.

I love Professor Beatty! She is so nice and clear - she will help you if you ask for it! She gives a lot of extra credit and there is a lot of group work. She lets us out early sometimes too if our work is finished. She gives the option of not working in a group if that is what you prefer.

Professor Beatty covers more material than many. The material is covered in depth and she ensures the class understands the tough material before she moves on (e.g. bonds). If a student needs help, she is very happy to give it. She will call on you in class - be prepared by doing your work. I wish she would teach more advanced acct. classes.

Awesome teacher, she was a hottie for an Older Woman. Always talks about her sex life and such. Very helpful when it comes to grades and EXTRA credit like whoa. Loved the class because of her!

Her class was fantastic online. Although Accounting isn't the best class to take in the world (sorry!) she really did take the time to create a nice looking online account and she went out of her way to create Tables, and instructor notes for you know what you are doing. I've taken 2 online classes and her's is by far the best, the other one I had to drop because of how horrible it was.

class seemed hard until i transferred to md. she knew her subject matter, tests were easy if you knew the material.

The BEST Teacher ever, She made everything so simple and tried to make accounting as fun as it can be. I don't want to say it was easy even though it was for me other people had problems with it but they still got like a B in the class. Pretty easy grader and it is pretty hard not to a B if you do all the work. LOTS of Extra Credit

Overall, she was a pretty good teacher. She really tried hard to make the class easy to understand and enjoyable. I did enjoy and look forward to coming to class. She's very sweet, but I can see how someone would say she was mean, because sometimes you can see her trying so hard to be nice, that it almost seem like she's covering up her meanness.

One of the best teachers I have had. Nice and funny. Even brought bagels the class after an exam. The class overall is pretty easy, she makes sure you understand the material before she moves on which is really important. I loved her!!

Easily the best teacher i've had since ive gotten to college. brought in cookies and stuff just randomly early on, gives out boatloads of extra cred, tries realllllyyyy hard to help u understand. funny and upbeat too. as long as you do the hw and study, tests shouldnt be hard. Mrs. B is the best ever! She is very easy to get along with and extremely helpful. One of the best teachers that I have ever had. Oh yeah, might be a little dust on the bottle, it's one of those things gets sweeter with time! I love you Mrs. B

She gave so much extra credit. I got 35 bonus points just for not missing a class! She is very clear and makes class fun! She brought in food one day out of the blue. I would HIGHLY recommend her. I wish she was teaching the next class that I have to take.

Definitely take this teacher for accounting. It's the easiest way to learn the subject. Opportunities for extra credit, plus a make up hw day the last week of school. Very helpful in class, ask questions. Notes online. Cheat sheet allowed for the final which REALLY helped me out. Take this class for accounting I.

She was awesome I wish I could find her teaching 212 (Accounting 2) If you are considering her then go for it b/c shes great. She goes over everything enough that it all makes sense and you can easily apply it all to the tests. On top of that she gives practice exams and practice HW all semester !

Professor Beatty Rocks! She gives you a million chances to get a good grade. Put a little effort in and it is very possible to get an A! This is a very hard subject and I researched all the acct teachers, She is the Best one at AACC!!!

Mandatory Attendance and Required Online Assignments were the only problems I had with Professor Beatty. She was incredibly kind and understanding, and was more than willing to help a student with any problem they may have. She lets you out early quite often if the class moves through the material. I highly recommend her and will take her again!

This professor was really good! She always helped when I needed it. Be sure to ask questions WHEN you are confused... otherwise you will be screwed throughout the semester because everything is like intertwined. She is really nice and make sure you do your homework! That will help you a lot!

Took class online. For any accounting class you have to do the practice problems to be successful. Prof. Beatty provided additional notes to clarify textbook items. She is extremely helpful and really wants to make sure you learn material. Tests can be tricky, so you have to know your stuff. Doesn't hurt that she is easy on the eyes. Great Prof!

She was very clear on what we were doing. The test reviews are basically the same as the test. And for those of you complaining that she was the reason you failed or barely passed, maybe you should've worked harder to comprehend the material that was basically put right in front of you. Also, She's very very easy on the eyes. ;) LOVED HER

Prof. Beatty is great professor, she will help you until you get it. This is my second accouting class with her(I also took Accounting 1 with her) and I am glad I had her for both classes. This is not an easy class you actually have to put work into the class. Otherwise she is a great professor!

She is a nice professor. She is willing to help you out in any ways she can. All you need to do is to let her know you have problems. Her test is not very easy, but she will gives out practice exams. They are almost the same as the exams you will take. So read the instructor's notes and do the practice exams. Her teaching style is great.

Difficult class made easier by Professor Beatty's effort and thoroughness. Well-organized and explains the material in great detail. The tests are tough but the rest of the class can give you a cushion. She is a nice woman who wants you to do well if you work for it.

A very nice, great, understanding professor who takees the time out of her day and much time at that to help students. I struggled with starting the course and she sat with me in her office for hours to help me understand the program and the software and I am very grateful.

I found Professor Beatty to be a knowledgeable, caring, and informed instructor. She is very passionate about teaching and really knows the material well. I was in a night section and she was willing to stay after class and answer questions.

Professor Beatty definitely understands accounting and she does a great job of displaying that knowledge during her lectures. Gives more and more HW if majority of class doesn't complete previous one. She gives us exactly what is on the exams through notes and worksheets that we go over during class. Just do all the worksheets and take notes!

Knows the material and textbook extremely well. Is always open for questions. Be ready to take notes!

I love Prof. Beatty! She is very funny and makes class enjoyable. She is a tough grader, but only does it to make you a better "accountant." Very accessible outside of class. Beware of being randomly called on to answer questions as well as having 25 points off your final grade each time she sees you on phone! Overall a very sweet lady.

Beatty is an amazing professor. In class her lectures are very informative. She provides many detailed worksheets that can help you with the exams, and offers a ton of extra credit. Show up, do your work, and pay attention. You'll be gold, Just know accounting is a very picky subject and requires precision. Therefore her grading may feel hard.

Prof. Beatty is outstanding. I have seen a lot of rough reviews because she is a tough grader. If she is lenient on topics as precise and exact as accounting, being lenient in grading only hurts you. She does her best to make sure that everyone is on the same page and is always available for additional help and advice outside of class.

I felt that Professor Beatty was a pleasant teacher and willing to help. If you have a question she was ready to answer and if that did not work she was always willing to schedule a remote session.

Professor Bev is a wonderful, funny teacher. You need to study, take notes and participate in her class. She is a flexible/understanding person. She sometimes provides notes if asked. She gives pointers/hints. Also she give practice opportunities (exams) and gives answers. Is willing to offer help in office hours. The lower ratings are incorrect.

Keeping in mind that a condensed, online course puts a lot of the learning in the students hands, Professor Beatty made sure to prepare the class with ample "Do's and Don't's" outlining common mistakes and how to avoid them. Her feedback was very detailed after each assignment which allowed me to review and learn from my mistakes. Great professor.

Very solid professor. She is probably the best online professor I have had at Anne Arundel and does a great job of using her class time to provide a great lecture. If you dont do the readings before class or are absent during the Zoom calls, you will regret it and she will make you look like a fool. Overall, great teacher and I would take her again
