Dr. Grundset is a cool teacher had her for anatomy II - this is a hard class with a lot of information but she made it easy - you can buy her notes in the bookstore - don't buy the book because her notes is all you need.

Excellent teacher. A lot of work and memorizing of charts, but she gives you all of the info. Be prepared to study! If you do so, you will do fine. More studying than most classes (I think). Enjoyed her tremendously. Would take again.

Teaches Anatomy 1 & 2 you don't need a book just notes in book store. I have A but my lazy class mates have C's without trying. Easiest anatomy teacher at SPC.

You don't have to take notes in her class, which is a plus. You just purchase her notes and you just highlight what she tells you to. A lot of students try to get in her class, so register early. She's great noone has ever complained!

She is very helpful and tries to get you to understand the whole concept of the human body.Recommend getting her notes, they are very helpful and are clearly written well. As long as you study for her test you will do good.

I was so fortunate to have Dr. G. for lecture in both A & P I, II. She is straightforward, so you know what you have to study for the tests. I was unable to take her lab classes, but always heard great things about her.

Dr G is very nice and very easy. Her lectures are clear, but doesn't seem to go into as much detail as some of the other teachers. She basically tells you what you need to know to pass the tests.

I registered for all five classes that Dr. G teaches & EARNED all A's. Her classes are not "too easy"...she is SIMPLE, DIRECT & expects you to know the info, not just memorize it. You'll love her style, organization and memory techniques. **HINT** If you take her lecture you MUST take her lab!!

Lecture is relatively painless. She give you her notes and tells you exactly what to expect on exam. I think she is excellent. AP is a hard course and a lot of material. She helps you focus your efforts while at the same time forces you to learn the important concepts. Great personality too.

You will get what you want out of the course. If you just read Dr. G's transcript that is your loss! If you read between the lines and more, that's your gain. No one can teach you everything! Dr. G. can only lead you in the right direction.

Like the way she required the purchase of her notes. You spend more time focusing on lecture rather than writing. Review the main material you need to know an provides time for help. Grading is tough 4 tests each one 25% of your grade. So it's all about how committed you are.

"I'm a couch potato, and proud of it!" Fat and lazy, she whines about her age and having to do work. Not a happy person, but lonely and sarcastic. She simplifies concepts well. I learned more from the textbook than from lectures. You'll hear "my hand is on the burning stove" every day!

Pay attention in lecture and you will learn alot!She hates gum, which wasn't good for me during tests:( but all-in-all a wonderful class. One suggestion...take the same lab/lecture instructor for this course, it makes it alot easier to follow.

One of the greatest professors I ever had. Book confusing - after her lectures book made sense. Have to know the material to pass her tests. Provides you with a great base to go on in nursing. Basically depends on how much you are willing to put into it. Read the book after the lectures and ask questions - she will give you clear answers.

She is a great teacher, test are a little hard, she likes to be tricky. But, overall she helps you understand it. Great teacher I wish she would teach other courses. Go to class with your lecture notes and follow along, you'll do great.

She is a smart woman with a good sense of humor. If you pay attention, go to classes and take additional notes, as well as answer her objective questions--you'll for sure get an A. Just study. 3 tests and one final--can drop the lowest of 3.

I found Dr. Grundset to be hilarious and made anatomy really interesting. I am not good in science but she made it easy and really wants to help you if you have trouble understanding the material but you really have to buckle down and study if you want a good grade. I wish there were more instructors like her.

Lets start off with this is a hard class no matter who you take but Dr. G is the best!!!She lets you buy the notes to the class at cost (about $4) she tells you what to highlight and study. You put in the time and work you will get an A.She will always find a way to help you and work with you in the event life gets in the way.Thank you foreverthing

Boy, was she easy. But now that I am having such a hard time in Nursing at SPC I realize that taking her was a mistake. She is nice but does NOT prepare you for later.

I had her for BSC 1085, BSC1086, BSC1086L, BSC 1085L, and Nutrition! FUNNY! she makes things easy to remember! I miss her classes. As you can tell I too almost every class she teaches! And I got "A" in every one of them.

I LOVE DR G! SHE is smart, funny & very,understanding! She knows students have a life 2 and does anything she can 2 help! She is very challenging but she makes science very easy to comprehend! If health is in your future, take her, you will learn A LOT. As for those who thought she was hard or didn't explain well,they just weren't paying attention.

I had her for 1085 and 1086 with labs at the same time and all I can say is she is the most understanding teacher I have every known! I can't agree with those who say that they haven't learned from her because it is the oppostite w/ me. She made everything so comprehensible and I'm going to be a better nursing student because of her!!

Dr G is awesome, she taught me a lot. Anyone that says they didn't learn anything didn't study. She tells you what she expects you to know, study it and you'll get an A. Taking her for II during the summer. Have a high interest in Anatomy now, highly recommend. If you can't get in take Brightman, he's great too. Had him for lab.

Dr. G is the best professor I've ever had. She is not the easiest, but I prefer her style of teaching to someone "easier," because you find yourself actually learning new things and retaining it, in a manner that is relative to everyone. I highly recommend this passionate and excellent Doctor of Science!

Good teacher. Tells you exactly what is on the test in each test review. If you study the notes she has made than you'll do fine. I even got a 100 on one of her tests. Learned a lot.

She is a wonderful teacher. Her lecture is what she asks on her test. Show up for review and know everything she goes over and you'll do fine. I got an A and actually retain a lot of what she teaches!!! The text are expensive so unless you plan to use Anatomy in your field, don't buy it. Make a friend who has one.....

After having Grundset for ap2 and Brightman for ap1, I without a doubt learned more with Grundset. While both are very nice Professors, Grundset actually provides explanations when lecturing, instead of silly ways of memorizing information. Overall, I enjoyed the class and would take her again.

Grundset is good. From the variances in ratings she has I am now sure it all depends on the individual for what's learned. She gives you the material you need to know and YOU make it happen on the test. I mean she sells the notes & explains the material! Grow up! I took Grundset for A&P1 and i made sure i got her again for A&P2. She is a great teacher.....she is very helpful by giving you a review for every test and pretty much tells you what will be on the test. she will also tell you what will not be on the test. I reccomend her for eveyone if the want an A.

Dr. Grundset is a great professor! A&P is hard class duh! It's not going to be easy. And she uses abbreviations that the real world uses in the medical field. If you attend class she tells you what they are! And I don't think many people read the book. They just go by her notes and get upset when they don't feel there getting enough info. Well,

Dr Grundsset is the best. I've taken A&P I in the past and had to withdrawl, because I didn't understand. She has a great style of teaching. She tells stories and give examples about the material so you can understand better. A&P is tough! I definately had to keep up and study a lot to get a good grade. I couldn't have done it without DR G.

Dr. Grundset is the best teacher i had in the SPC. she explains every thing very clearly; she is very knowlegeble; she gives real examples because she was a a doctor; if you need to know materials and need to get a good grade in this course go with her you will not be sorry. do not try to take Lancraft, he has problems and he needs a psychiatrist.

I am sure Dr. Grundset has better things to do than come on here & comment to make herself look good. Its obvious others think she is great. I am one of those students. I am the friend of the previous rater and I am also mad. Why does she not cover the same material as other teachers? I always feel shortchanged...like I am not getting the whole deal.

JUSTY FYI..I WORK AT A HOSPITAL. SHE TEACHES US THE WAY THE MEDICAL WORLD IS! SHE HAS BEEN THERE SHE KNOWS! I NEVER UNDERSTOOD ALL HER ABBERVATIONS UNTIL NOW. WHEN I SEE THEM AT WORK. THE BOOK IS VERY HARD TO UNDERTAND, BUT SHE IS A COMPASSIONATE TEACHER WHO ACTUALLY TEACHES NOT JUST SAYS READ THE BOOK AND LEARN THE MATERIAL. I'M GOING TO MISS HER!

I took her for lab. She is particular and had has her favorite things. Know her favorite things and the things she says are guarenteed, because they will be on the practical and on the quizzes. She is a pretty good teacher. A little strange at times, but very personable and helpful. She will tell you what you will need in the medical world.

She is very funny, using humor to help learn difficult things. She will help you when you ask, She is very friendly, and she is concerned about her students, and willing to repeat things and make it understandable to you. Most teachers won't do that. SHE IS AWESOME, TAKE HER FOR CLASS, IT IS WELL WORTH IT!!!!

I would just like to say I had Dr. G for A&P I & II and she is by far one of the best instructors I have ever had. I am in the nursing program and I got an A in Nursing I. For those of you having trouble now - instead of blaming Dr. G for your short comings, try cracking a book. It takes hard work to do well in the program.

Dr. Grundset is a great professor. She always goes the extra mile for her students. Ap I/AP II are in general two of the most challenging courses I have taken. It is a class you must keep up with, and not fall behind. GOOD LUCK!

Who said she was easy??? Nice and clear but tests are not multiple choice. Try stuffing your head full of terms. Med student friends said they got to look at the bones within the skeleton not just a bone laying there on its own. My head is so stuffed full of terms, it is crazy. Nice lady but NOT easy.

She is very intelligent & really knows her stuff. She reaaly wants you to understand what she is teaching you so she will saty after class and you can come into her office anytime. Make sure you study the things she tells you to and what she goes over in class and you will do fine. It is a LOT of memorization, so don't be lazy. Great teacher!!!!! :

I had Grundset for A&P 1 and 2 and she was awesome. You will learn a lot from her! I am in nursing school right now and I use what she taught me everyday. You will not regret taking her class!

Really nice, helpful. Quizzes are a life saver, but still the practicals are so much to remember. Gotta study alot. Use the online angel lab examples, with slides and models. You need these.

I have mixed emotions. I don't like her teaching style it's annoying, notes are unclear, and her test are pretty hard, she also has an attitude sometimes. She's tough on us but it's good preperation for any program. If your willing to put in the effort I recommend her but shes not an easy A.

I loved grundset. Alot of people complain because she is hard. Thats because most medical programs are hard. So she is teaching you for the real world. Im finishing up a&p 1 and am taking her next semester. She is a good teacher no matter what. You have to study though. Shes great!!

Dr. Grunsdet is an amazing professor. The comment about her being the teacher from Matilda is immature.Yes she is hard,but the medical profession is not going to be an easy. It's called STUDYING!! Great professor, Head of the department. I learned a lot in her class. It's not easy, and you WILL have to study, but she is crystal clear on what you need to know, and very fair in regards to test questions.

Easy A for this basic class. This was the first semester she taught this course. Helpful for students that have been out of school for awhile. My only complaint is that she is not teaching BSC2085 next semester! The way she explains everything is great! Really breaks it down so it is easy to grasp!! Highly recommended!!

Super clear professor. Draws heavily from the notes. You must review the notes prior to lecture to really understand and do well. Tests are very fair. Take this professor!! I got an A, and you will too if you know everything in the notes. Test questions are a bit tricky, so read them carefully. I would definitely take this professor again.

Although I literally spend all my free time studying for this class Its tough to keep an A. Dr. G is an awesome teacher! she's very clear when she lectures and tells you what's going to be on the test and quizzes. Don't be fooled! Quizzes are easy, tests are HARD! Study!

Dedicated teacher. She was very helpful anytime I asked a question. Writes all her notes and if they're not available at the bookstore then she'll post them for you to print out. Awesome teacher!

She is a very good teacher, a little gruff, however. Her lectures are straightforward and lets you know what you need to know for the tests and quizzes. AP 1 is not an easy class and you need to study a lot. However, you should get an A in the classes as she is the easiest, most straightforward AP teacher to take at SPC.

Dr. Grundset is the best A&P teacher at spc. This subject requires a decent amount of study time but if you put in the work there is no reason you cannot get an A in her class. She teaches out of the powerpoint and you don't need a book. Always gives reviews and old tests. Wouldn't take this class with anyone else.

Dr. Grundset may be a difficult professor. But would you like to actually know what you are doing and talking about once you get into your chosen field? Dr. Grundset sets you up for success in the long run. She wants to see you succeed. She is not here to give you an easy A, but to secure your knowledge and understanding of A&P.

Gives extra credit on every post lecture quiz. Don't need to go to every lecture, posts them online but is very beneficial to go because she'll let you know what will be on the test. She tells cute stories and every lecture is enjoyable
