Awesome professor. Look for 10+ points of extra credit on tests. Simply know her greatly abbreviated lecture notes, available at the bookstore and you should have an A.

after having this teacher i fell in love with her, she looks like and older kirsten dunst. she provides you with everything you need to pass. Her lab is extreemely easy :)

She is treats students as people. No problem understanding her. She will take time for students.

she's a great prof. very nice, very intelligent and very approachable. The only thing is that she doesn't use visuals (besides the book). besides that...she's very good

If you need the "A" you can get it here. Just know her notes. She is very nice, but I must admit I got a little bored listening to her read directly from her notes. She knows her stuff! Waters it down well for the students.

A good teacher. Lecture and Lab tests come directly from notes.If you need an A, she is the teacher to take.

She is very clear on what you need to know & her tests do not try to trick you. If you don't pass her class with and a or b you can only blame yourself. The downside is that she spends way too much time chatting about irrelevant info, but I wouldn't take anyone but her from A&P or Microbiology!!

GREAT PROFFESSOR! SHE IS VERY CLEAR CUT IN WHAT SHE WANTS YOU KNOW. SHE DOESN'T EVER TRY TO TRICK YOU ON HER TESTS. IF YOU STUDY HER NOTES AND KNOW HER REIVEW QUESTIONS THEN YOU CAN GET AN A. I RECOMMEND TAKING ANP 1, ANP 2, AND MICROBIOLOGY, EVERN IF IT MEANS WAITING TO GET INTO ONE OF HER CLASSES.

Dr. Ketcham is AWESOME!!!! If you have to take either A&P, she's the one to take in Ybor. Study the review questions and you'll pass the class. She's fair and treats you like a person.

EXCELLENT!!! gives you a review sheet to do at each section. study the review sheet and you will get an A. Very informative instructor, very fair with grades, always gives extra credit on tests and lab. highly recommended to any science major.

She's the best for this ususally hard class.

I had her for A&P 1 and A&P 2. Very nice.

She has her favorites, and apparently, I wasn't one of them. I studied my as* off in her class and still managed to get a D. Trust me people, my GPA was a 3.8 before her.

I love Dr, Ketcham she is an awesome teacher and she is brilliant. She makes the subject fun and interesting. I took her for both A&P 1 and 2 and I'm in her mirco class. Let's just put it this way, there is a reason why her classes fill up fast. I strongly recomend her if you want a "A" or "B" in your class.

Dr. Ketcham is one of the most intelligent women that I've ever come across. She inspires me to be the best at whatever I do.

Dr. Ketchup is a brilliant teacher. She is very helpful and answer as many question as you have. Very detailed study guideline, but U Must study to get an "A". I learned alot from her.

By far the best teacher I have ever had. If you study, you will pass. Most of the people who complain about her, don't study and get F's. Hence the STUDY part. You aren't penalized for missing class, which is rare at HCC. She will take the time to answer any and all questions. Very sweet. I'm taking her for a&p2 and micro!!

Her class is really easy. (of course you have to study!!)You will have a review sheet and answer. So if study, you will get an easy A. However, her lab is not that good. Over all, if you can spend time for this class and need A, you should take her.

She is a great teacher. The subject is hard and there is a lot of material to learn but her notes and reveiws are exactly what is on the test. She also usually gives extra credit on the test.

Extremely knowledgable, intelligent & overall a wonderful professor to work with. All of these classes can be difficult if you do not have the time to spend studying-but if you do her review sheet religiously you will do well. Also she gives plenty of extra credit which helps. I miss taking classes with her :(

A great teacher. She is one of those teacher who takes education seriously. She knows alot about what she teachs. I will highly recommend her to take if you are going to take A&p. I MISS TAKING CLASSES WITH HER

Ive had Dr Ketcham for 2 terms now and I didn't put forth as much effort as i should have and still received A's and B's. Her notes make everything sooooo much easier. She is an awesome teacher!

Dr.K is one of my best professor. Textbook isn't required but helpful. I can probably count in both hands the # of times I've used my textbook between AP I & II. Her notes are sometime a little difficult to understand. But it's my job as a college student to comprehend what she is trying to say.

I really think she is a good teacher. She tells you what you need for the test. You need to memorize alot of things. I think the memorization really helped me understand the lecture portion of the class. She is helpful and I recomend her class.

Very!!! patient nice and try to help you when you have a problem. This is her calling. You can tell that she loves teaching the subject and wants to help you understand how your body works. Just study her question inside and out come to class and pay attention and don't test her with the cell phone she will take point off your test.

I had this professor for several classes. She is very fair and she does use her notes as the textbook. However, you are GIVEN the exam questions to study for every single exam. How much easier can a Human Anatomy exam be??? I highly recommend her to people who are willing to study. Not an easy A, but very fair.

Anatomy & physiology lecture and lab- her lecture class is just that LECTURE no visuals, txtbk not needed just her notes, in the notes she provides review ???'s, answers are in her notes,that's where the test comes from, very straightforward no surprises same for lab she tells you what you need to know for test YOU MUST APPLY YOURSELF & STUDY

I took her for AP1 & AP2, received A's in both & will be taking her for micro. Yeah she doesn't use the textbook, b/c she summarizes the book into her notes($5). I found having the textbook only helpful in using the visuals. In Lab, book is necessary. The course is no easy course, BUT STUDY HER NOTES, and you'll get an easy "A". AWESOME TEACHER!!

Her outline notes take the guess work out of studying. Study just the review questions and you can probably pull off a C or B. Study all of her notes and get an A. I averaged about 15 hrs of study time per test and got all A's in AP1, AP2 and MICRO

She's rgeat. She takes the extra effort with the people who care about their grades. hard classes but if you study what she tells you/ gives you should do well. I took her for A&P1, A&P2, and Micro.

Very straightforward prof- uses notes instead of book so cost is only $6. Review questions provided for every exam- very friendly prof and I had her for 5 classes because I like her teaching style.

Her lab is pretty good actually, much better than lecture... attendance is crucial and don't wait til last minute to cram. Overall not a bad lab... The unknowns writeup is stressful though... read the directions on how to write the paper in the lab book!!

She is amazing...I took this class a couple times, because of the fact that I had many issues at home that I was dealing with, so school wasn't my priority. For this class you have to study, no games, if u do your part she will def do hers, she is an AMAZING teacher, u will walk out knowing the material it will be ingrained in your skull! Dr. K ROX

I think she is an AMAZING teacher...those of you who view her as a bad teacher or doesn't like the fact that she lectures...then maybe you shouldn't be in college. Clearly the class is difficult, but if you are not willing to study and do the work than you r wasting your time and prob should change your major...DOC K u are a very good teacher!!!

Tough class, but she gives you everything you need to succeed. But you must study! Don't get behind. Do her review Q's and study them... you'll get an A. Do the questions before the next class of what was lectured. And don't get to talkative during class or you'll get behind by the end of the semester and tests can pile up!

To be honest, u do have a lot of notes and studying. One thing though, if u r not a self study person pick another class. Summed up it was easy. I work constantly and i only studied 1 day(2-1/2) hrs and i received an 85 on her test. U have to just find a way 2 remember the info and u will be fine

I only had Ketcham for A&P Lab, not lecture. Her voice is monotone, but she doesn't talk any longer than she needs to. She gives review sheets every week to fill in to study for lab practicals (exams). Her exams are harder because you have to memorize and recall all of the words for things, no word bank. Overall, I learned a lot.

Anatomy and physiology is not meant to be easy. The body is incredibly detailed and complex but Dr. Ketcham does a great job with this subject. Her Test are straight from her notes (~$6 from the bookstore) and her extra credit is generous. If you are willing to put in the time to study, this class will reward you. Lectures are dry but she is great!

Dr. K is awesome! She is really fun and engaging to those who engage her and answers any questions you have. Her lecture note are $5 and tests are right off the review sheets, just study! She is always available during her office hours and is very helpful. I took her for Microbiology and Anatomy 1 at the same time and got an A in both classes.

Dr. Ketcham is a very nice teacher! She has lecture/review notes so you know exactly what to study. i took her for micro and anatomy and passed with a B. As as you study her notes you will do fine. She answers any questions that you may have and a easy teacher to get along with. I'm taking her for anatomy 2 in the fall!

I took Dr. Ketcham for micro over the 7 week summer semester. Her class is definitely a challenge. I literally studied ever single day and I got a B in lecture and an A in lab. I loved her labs and the practicals were structured according to her notes. Her lecture exams are tricky. She gives a lot of extra credit on her exams in lab and lecture

Study note. Multiple choice tests and verbatim from notes.No textbook required, get An Anatomy atlas (Netters the best) Easy and if you don't think so, you will h have big problems when u transfer to 4 year college

I took Ketcham for Micro, A&P 1 and A&P2. The classes themselves, no matter WHO YOU TAKE, are difficult. But if your going into the health field you honestly NEED to know all the material. So for those of you complaining about having to know the highlighted notes, get over it. She is a fantastic teacher and I always highly recommend her to everyone

She is a great teacher. I took her A&P1 + 2 and Micro and now I'm in the nursing program at USF and appreciate her even more-I could not ask for better preparation. She is very clear about her expectations and very organized with her lectures. For those who want to go to nursing -take her class, study hard, and one day you will be grateful.

All the tests were multiple choice, and all of the questions come from the material you cover in class, plus she gives extra credit on each test. Her lectures can be a little boring, as she reads from the notes (which she wrote & are purchased at the bookstore); however, she's very clear and informative.

This is college people and this class is really geared towards those interested in medicine. That being said I LOVED the class and Dr. Ketcham. She will help clarify information for you when needed! Definitely read and study as the tests are hard!

5 tests, 50 multiple choice questions and extra credit. Everything comes from her notes that are 5$ at the bookstore. Don't really need the textbook. Lab tests are a little harder because it's not multiple choice but there are still extra credit questions. Just MAKE SURE you study. If you know her review sheet, you'll get an A on the tests.

Very clear about her expectations. Very easy to understand. Don't need a book, she teaches directly from preprinted notes. Study her review sheets well, and you will do well. I really liked her class.

Very direct with what material is on tests. It's a ton of info, but she gives you the exact info you will need. Doesn't require attendance but she will keep that in mind with your final grade and you get to review material before each new lecture. One of the most thorough educators I have ever had. Not easy material but very well explained.
