I only had her for one day, but she seemed so nice and caring. You can exempt from this class really easily if you know how to use basic programs on a computer (word, powerpoint and the web)! really easy

Pass or fail class,simple word homework programs. Seems like a nice lady.

not hard at all.... a lot of little work though!! however, u'll get an A if u do the works... also she allow u to email the work to her later in the day if u did not turn during the class time.

I think she is from the old school. Your work must be thorough. She once gave us an assignment and the writting lab tutors had to find out from her what she meant. If you make a grade of B in her class, consider yourself one of the best. Tough but good.

Santillo is an easy teacher for anyone who ever took an Honors level high school class, but she expects no mistakes in grammer or spelling. Best tip to do well in her class is to email her a question, any question about every major paper.

Awesome teacher,love her class,wish that she teaches other english classes so i could take it, allow u to email ur paper after class. very easy quizes from reading, you will make an A right away! Worse thing that ever happen to you is a B.Trust me!I can't write at all.. and I got an A in her class.

I tested out of ATEC 1203 with Ms. Santillo. Although met her only once, I felt that she was very clear and polite.

She is really sweet and it is possible to make an A in her class. She allows you to email your papers to her if something comes up and you can't get to class. Very smart and knows all about English. Take her-she's great!

There is no way you could fail. This class is very easy. She is a nice teacher.

I recommend that you have a brief knowledge of Powerpoint, Word, GALILEO, and using e-mail...to pass the exemption test. If you ones that don't pass the test on first day, you will surely pass this class with *A*. Very easy A+++

Awesome!! Take her even if you are bad at English. She will walk you through every paragraph. She edits you papers and helps you come up with a good thesis before the paper is turned in.

I had a lot of anxiety going into this class, but ended up enjoying it. Although I hate writing papers, I still pulled an A. She is super sweet and favors those who show at least a little interest. This class was not hard at all!

She is a very good teacher! She is polite and extremely patient. She takes her time in explaning to her students exactly what she expects. The class is really easy: there's not a lot of work and i gurantee that students will learn something new from the class.

Nice lady...a little hyper. Simple class as long as you show up every day and do the work EXACTLY as she describes it. She likes you to pay attention to her instructions. Don't get behind and you are guaranteed an A at the end. Class is very helpful for those who will be researching and writing papers.

Took the class because it was required, I passed the exemption test with flying colors. If you passed a high-school computer applications course then you will not have a problem in this class.

Took her half term class. She's pretty straight forward about what she requires. You dont really have to pay attn in class- just do the assignments exactly as the text book instructs and you will pass with flying colors. You can leave class once you finish your assignment.

Ms.Santillo is very cute, she dresses for the day! I love her and the techniques she teaches. I took her class 1/2 term and you have to be an idiot to not make it in her class. I want her to teach me the rest of my college courses!

This lady loves literature, especially poetry. We defintiely learned how to figure out poems and that was interesting.

Work wise: easy assignments and easy quizzes. You must read the stories and poems to understand. She even allows you to turn in any assignment and paper online with a given due date. The only negative is her attitude.

We were given the option of taking an exemption test the first day. If you got an A, your attendance was not required for the remainder of the semester. I ended taking 1 class this summer not 2, THANKS TO THIS TEST. If you sign up and are given the chance to take this test, TAKE IT.It doesn't affect you if you don't pass anyway. Good luck!

Mrs. Santillo was a great professor for my first semester of college. She knows what she wants in your writing and she will help you to make you a better writer. She isn't always clear on the directions, but if you just go with the flow and do your best, then she is very easy on you and grades your essays fairly lightly. I recommend her to anyone.

Her class is boring, but very easy. You cannot miss class, but you can leave as soon as your work is done. You have to make a powerpoint presentation in front of the class as your final exam. This is a pass-fail course at GPC, so you either get an A or an F. I got an A. :)

Santillo also teaches English, but I took her for Research strategies (which is a half semester class). Its helpful if you have trouble finding reliable sources for research papers. Her class was pretty easy but make sure to pay attention to detail. She will be rude & make you feel like an idiot if your work isn't EXACTLY like she wants it.

EASY, EASY EASY. SMART LADY. I WOULD TAKE HER AGAIN. SHE WILL MAKE YOU FEEL DUMB IF YOU DON'T EXACTLY WHAT SHE SAYS. SHE TALKS REALLY FAST AND EXPECTS YOU TO PICK UP THE PACE. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY AS IT IS A HALF TERM CLASS. MISS MORE THAN ONE DAY AND SHE WILL WITHDRAW YOU. LOVE YOU MISS BEVERLY.

for English 1102. she loves to pass out papers. feels like back in high school. lots of work but the easy work. It can get boring. couple easy quizes if you read the stories. Lots of work but again easy work.

Very nice and helpful teacher. Can be rude sometimes but you can tell she doesn't mean it. I am taking her now and the class is extremely easy. Also, she lets you correct mistakes on essays also accepts them late occasionally. I am a slacker btw who sucks at writing papers but I should have an A by the end of this semester.

Just finished her class. She is the most helpful instructor i have had has so far. I gained so much from this class. If you are interested in learning something please take her. She takes her time to understand your problem and help before you move on..She is a great instructor...and i love her personality.

This is a half a semester class. She gives out this test at the first day of class and if you get an A then you don't need to attend class for the rest of the semester. How amazing?! I got an A on the test and exempt for the whole semester. Best class ever. Take her!!

She was a pretty easy teacher. No complaints on her grading. But she is the RUDEST professor at this school in my opinion. You should never feel self conscious about raising your hand and asking a question to your teacher. If you don't answer the way she wants you to, she makes you look and feel STUPID! Thats not being a good teacher at all!!

The BEST! If you took eng1101, 1102 then pls take exempt test. I took it two days ago and just got an email from her that I passed. Test is all abt research, it's not multiple choice. You have to print out papers so you need ur jcard.

She has a terrible attitude and is always sarcastic, passive-aggressive, and generally unpleasant to be around. She'll make fun of you in front of the class for anything. Personality aside, however, she is a teacher who takes her class seriously. Will help you out and wants you to participate and really learn.
